Trigger Creation Error in Migration
During the migration process from an Access 2000 db to Oracle 8i, a number of triggers are created to replace Validation Rules on fields in the Access Tables (eg >0 And <Now()). However, the trigger at migration time is created with a call to a function CONV_TO_DATE. As you can imagine, this creates an error as there is no function of this name. I get a no variable of this name declared. All I do is delete the "CONV_" and it works a treat. What is going on?
Along the same lines, some other Validation Triggers are created with a duplicate field name in the statement eg "IF NOT (:ois.field1 AS :ois.field1 < 0)". Another, can you help?

Make sure that you have the same version of the ADF libraries that you use inside JDeveloper installed on your server. You can use the ADF installer to install them on the server.

Hi,
Recently (the past week or so), my desktop client for Skype has been crashing regularly. This is accompanied by large (over 1.2GB) amounts of memory usage. At semi-regular intervals (say every few hours), Skype will post an error with the text "Thread creation error: Not enough storage space..."
I am using the latest build of Skype. I am not performing any Skype logging. This error is clearly an ongoing issue which has not been addressed, as prior threads have discussed this as well.Errors like this have been addressed and continue to be addressed. Being that the errors are related to memory leakage of one form or the other, the problem can have several sources and be agitated by several programs. I personally run the latest version on all my machines in a 24/7 capacity and have not run into the problem. Some versions in the past created a similar error for me, yet the latest has not. If you've already updated your IE's flash and that has not alleviated the problem, the only other solution is running an earlier release that doesn't crash for you or restart Skype more often. I've had virtual video devices trigger this behavior by simply launching the video settings once. The virtual device even when not in use continued to consume memory under Skype until it crashed. So if you use any virtual audio/video components you may want to remove them to see if that changes anything. Some people have also blocked ads when those were the source.

Many sequences/trigger creations in one script?
Hallo,
I want to put some trigger creations in one script, but SQL*Plus doesn't create many triggers, it does create one trigger with compilation errors. When I only use one trigger creation statement alone (and this for all triggers after eachother), all works fine without any errors.
This is my script:

I found these is no directory "%HYPERION_HOME%\common\CSS\9.2.0\bin;" exists but "%HYPERION_HOME%\common\CSS\9.2.1\bin;"
I configured PATH by setting to above, and tried CSSExport again, still failed.
Than I disabled the NTLM is HSS, tried CSSExport again. It was successful.
So I am convinced that the problem caused by NTLM or PATH environment variable or some files associated.
Does anybody know the solution ?I recommend you upgrade at least to 10.1.0.5. 10.1.0.2 comes with the very first version of csalter.plb, which has not the current implementation. From and to which character set do you try to migrate?

Download Helper Screen Capture worked to capture video if the default "no audio" option is active. But, no audio. The "speakers" or "microphone" audio options are confusing....the audio to be captured is from the video, so what do you choose? With either "speakers" or "microphone" selected, the captured file has poor audio and no video. Re-capture efforts (speakers) get "Invalid capture file error" and "File Creation error- Unable to rename/copy audio file"
The paid upgrade of "Converter" doesn't work.
Instructive documentation - not very good.
Suggestions - Need time delay between initiation of "Record" and starting the video to be recorded.
Could use timer tracking of the record process.
Are there operating system limitations? (Have Windows XP Pro)That is an issue for the developer of that Download Helper.

Error while migrating BLOB type data
Hi ,
I am migrating the data from oracle to oracle and both soruce and target tables have BLOB type field.
I am getting error when I am executing the interface with these blob fields. But My interface is successfull if I am not maaping this blob files.
Below is the error message.
ODI-1217: Session BLOB (162501) fails with return code 942.
ODI-1226: Step BLOB fails after 1 attempt(s).
ODI-1240: Flow BLOB fails while performing a Loading operation. This flow loads target table IMAGES.
ODI-1228: Task SrcSet0 (Loading) fails on the target ORACLE connection YAGLD.
Caused By: java.sql.BatchUpdateException: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

LeeI think that dgSoftwareTitles.selectedItems is a type of Vector while
public function ArrayCollection(source:Array = null) expects an array as a source. -
Error while migrating business rules
While trying to use the export/import option in EAS to migrate business rules, we have run into an error.
The export itself is fine. When trying to import, it says this:(even though it lets me select the proper xml file for importing)
Error while migrating business rules.
Detail: The import file specified is not a valid business rules xml file. Import will be terminated.
Detail:Exception occured. Please check your log file for details.
I am pretty sure I used the inherent format specified for exporting the business rules.
Both the old and new systems are version 11.1.2.
The LCM method also failed for the business rules migration.
Any suggetions?

Also, try putting double quotes around the responsibility name.

Service Contracts Billing Schedule Creation Error

I have a requirement of creating service contracts from back-end for which I am using the oks_contracts_pub.create_contract_header, create_service_line, and create_bill_schedule. I am creating my contracts with active status and renewal type of EVN (Header level), FUL(Line Level). My contract is of type subscription. I am trying to migrate a SharePoint 2010 list to Office 365. I created a new ListCreationInfo for a new list in O365. But when i am to trying add fields from SP2010 list, its giving me an error after list.update() -
A duplicate field name "fa564e0f-0c70-4ab9-b863-0177e6ddd247" was found.

Is it possible to trigger an error so that the running stored procedure is stopped?
Hello all,
I want to run an existing stored procedure and then I want to manually trigger an error/abort/interruption so see what happens and do some testing with that.
Is it possible to manually trigger an error/abort/interruption on a running stored procedure so that it is stopped?
If yes, how can I do that?
I hope someone has an idea. For me it sounds not really difficult, but I just do not get the idea how to do it.

I dont want to modify the existing procedure. I just want to run it and than stop it, but not with the button to stop it, but "kill" it somehow with an error (with not destroying the database).
Nope you cant simulate an intermediate failure inside procedure code from outside. For that you have to modify the actual sp code itself
Another way is by doing data manipulation in such a way which causes a error in procedure but for that you need to revisit the logic to ensure you do changes in such way as to cause an error
