Trouble with deploying models in NI Veristand to real-time target

Hi All,
I desperately need some help with some application i’m working on. I’m trying to read some accelerometer measurements into NI Veristand but coming up with an error all the time during the deployment stage to the real target which i have atttached. I can’t quite figure out what to do about it. I’m using a real-time device with a PXI-4461 module. I have checked that i can read all sensor measurements in MAX as attached. The error message is as follows:

Measurements: Sample Timing Type is set to On Demand which is not supported for analog input on this device.
Set Sample Timing Type to Sample Clock. You can achieve this whlie setting related properties through DAQmx VIs or functions for configuring timing.

Producer/consumer architecture over network variables with Real-Time target.

Hi all,
I am maintaining a producer/consumer data acquisition program to be deployed on a real-time target. The main code is deployed to and run on the real-time target during experiments, but was having trouble because the program was originally designed to write all experimental data to disk on the real time during acquisition, which puts the whole experiment at the mercy of the hard drive. I am now trying to rework the code so that the host takes care of logging, so that my time-critical loops don't have to wait.
I am currently using LabVIEW 8.5
I have two questions:
First, how can I programmatically call the data-logging subvi on the host so that it runs in parallel with the main vi which runs the experiment and collects data on the real-time? I have attached the test code that I have been working with to figure this out, but it does not run the logging vi continuously in the background. I am aware that there is better functionality for this in newer versions of LabVIEW, but I would prefer not to upgrade unless there is no other option. I would like to be able to run my data-generating vi and have it start the data logging remotely.
Second, is there a way in the host VI to read values off the network variable using an event structure rather than polling it for updates?
Any help would be sincerely appreciated!

Mark the target VI as served on the machine on which it will execute and use VI server Call by reference to invoke the served VI.
This used to be taught as THE way to communicate syncronously with an RT app.

Did your wife tick the box on the Yahoo sign in page to remember her for two weeks?
It would be best two have two separate Firefox profile folders, one for each of you to prevent such problems.<br />
Then you also do not have problems with deleting or changing bookmarks.

This issue was resolved! I didnt think about restoring my computer to factory settings but I did and now my computer works like brand new. basically, just back up your files and do the following:

Well I am feeling a bit silly now because that was all I had to do. In the past Workgroup Manager had always opened right up to the list of my users, I never even thought to click on that but apparently that was all that was needed.
I still am not sure how the iChat Server preferences changed themselves on me, but it is not the first time I have had weird "settings" issues with our Snow Leopard Server.

Having trouble with deploying real time 8.0 vi's

Having trouble deploying a simple vi to my field point platform. I am using FP OS v10.4 and labview rt v8.0. MAX tells me software installations to the target are good and communication in MAX is good. I can make a windows VI to read a channel on my field point and it works well. if I duplicate this VI in real time and try to deploy it to the field point unit, it goes well until it starts to download the "FP read" vi and then the download fails. I have plenty of memory on the fieldpoint unit for this vi - it consists of a FP channel constant, FP read, numeric constant (for data type to FP read), a numeric indicator, a while loop, millisecond multiple vi (loop timing), and stop control.
I am stumped - any help would be great.

sebk1 - The Fieldpoint Read VI includes error handling, if an error
occurs it takes time to generate and propagate the error. Check
to see if your data is out of range for the channel. If that is
not the case, I suggest trying an example VI that includes a FP Read VI
such as Analog Input found at: C:\Program Files\National
Instruments\LabVIEW 8.0\examples\FieldPoint\Getting Started\Analog
Input.vi if you installed to the default directory. I'd be
interested to hear the results of your tests.

Trouble with deploying Win 8.1 and Office 2013 to Surface Pro 2

Setup; Win2012R2, WDS 6.3.9600.16384, MDT 2013 (6.2.5019.0), Surface Pro 2 128GB, MS USB Ethernet adapter
Issue 1: the TFTP transfer of the PE image is Extremely slow. 10 Mbps. Have tried to adjust Maximum Block Size without any improvement.
Issue 2: When I try to deploy both Windows 8.1 and Office 2013 the TS fails. It will not (start) installing the Application - the log confirms that it starts the script, but ends up with ZTI Heartbeat forever.
If I install Windows first and after the OS installation connect to the MDT server and start a TS With just Office 2013 it works without problem.
The disturbing part here is that if I use the same TS With both OS and Office on a Hyper-V Virtual machine it works...
Have anyone seen this before?

Trouble with 3d model's transparency in iBooks Author

I have a 3d model with transparency and while it is imported without problems, there's something wrong with the transparency rendering inside 3d widget.
I attach 3 screenshots to showcase the problem.
The first two are from the iBook in iPad while the third is how the model shows in the 3d programs vieport (correct transparency)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same issue here, seems to be fine on text based websites, but any with images on struggle to load.
im on 100mb fibre, and all sites work fone on other devices, just my iPad since upgrading
its loads the site slowly, displays about 3/4 of the page once loaded

Trouble with deploying a standlone Java app/client that calls an EJB

Hey guys,
I am well aware that there are many topics that are quite similar to this topic that I am posting but the fact of the matter is I have failed to procure a satisfactory answer.
So a bit of background about the environment I am using. I am using Netbeans 5.5 development build, today's version, JDK 6 Build 77, and Sun Application Server 8.2 to create, run and learn J2EE 1.4 based apps following the Sun J2EE 1.4 tutorial pdf and the Netbeans 4.1 tutorial pdf which I realize is a bit outdated but it gets the job done for the most part.
I have satisfactorily created and built the Converter application as described in the above mentioned tutorial pdfs. For memory refreshment purposes, it is the simple session bean example where it is stateless and remote and has 2 business methods:

yenToEuro(BigDecimal yen)So I have this EJB being called, for learning purposes, by both a JSP and a Servlet as well as a standalone Java client. Now since the development machine is where I am deploying and running the enterprise application, everything works without a hitch. Once I have the Application server up and running I am able to access and execute the EJB's methods through JSP and Servlet even from remote machines on my home LAN. I realize that since the JSP and Servlet are in the same application context as that of the EJB I am not requiring the client jar which is where my confusion starts coming in. I know I need the client jar when I try to run the standalone java client from a different machine because it simply cannot access the EJB I have written.
Now I found this link below and I read it and sorta understand it. I also found that under C:\AppServer\domains\domain1\applications\j2eeapps\ConverterApp I see a file called ConverterAppClient.jar. Is this the so called client jar? If so how do I go about using it?
Before I end my rather long post, let me detail the steps I used to create the standlone Java client. I selected java application in the new menu of Netbeans and gave it the name ConverterClient and the IDE then proceeded to create a main class for me with a main method where I stuck in the following code:

I even tried using the deploytool but to no avail as all it generated for me was the same jar file that I found underneath the Application server application directory as I mentioned earlier.
If anyone is willing to help me, I will upload my Netbeans project files and all you have to do is open it through Netbeans 5.5 to recreate the exact scenario I am talking about.

Hi, I am having trouble with my Internet on my Macbook. Every time I try and go to a site it has a pop up block that says something along the lines of "Safari can't verify the identity of the website."

Below that there is more, it says," The certificate for this website is invalid. You might be connecting to a website that is pretending to be (Whatever the name of the site is) which could put your confidential info at risk. Would you like to connect to the website anyway?" and it give the options of show certificate, cancel, and continue. But the thing i dont understand is that it does this for basically EVERY page i visit. even facebook. and when i click "continue" it alows me to go to the page but limits what i can do and only shows certain things. i'm very frusterated with it. Help Me!

HT4623 Having trouble with emails. Cannot delete takes a long time for them to delete. Gets stuck and frozen. What is the problem

Close all apps in Multi-Task window and try again.

Problems with derivative/integral in PD control for real time.

Hello to you all,
I'm using Labview 8.5 to build a PD controller.
i'm using a PXI 8187 with FPGA 7831-R.
I run a simulation of the controller both in matlab and laview using the simulation module and it worked fine.
the next step is to build the PD controller in a new VI and use it control the signals from the FPGA,but when i try to use others form of derivatives,including the mathematic's backward derivative, but the system is not stable any more.
does anyone know what can i use to replace the derivative block that will work the same?

the system should be settling around the set point 0:
the file:1st working pd is the same as in the picture: the system is stable, but i cant use a simulation to when using a RT controller.
the file 1st not working Pd is the same as the working one,but instead of using the simulation continous derivative and integral i used other whioch doesnt seem to work.
the file PD2 represent how the PD controller should look standalone- location X as input and current I as output.
the file 2nd not working vi uses the PD2.vi to simulate the system unsuccesfully.
you can change the running time of each vi to see how the 1st working one is stable around 0 and how the other ones are not.
I hope that would help you guys to figure out what is wrong and let me continue my gradguation project.

Troubles with video players

Hi there, well I'm a old user of firefox and I really like the browser, so every time that I find some issue in both: desktop and android mozilla browser, I'm trying to help the community sending some feedback. This time, I want to tell you something: I usually like to play some anime videos on pages like: "www.animeid.tv" or "www.animeflv.net" and both of them have their own mobile version for smartphones and tablets, but when I'm trying to watch some video with mozilla android I get some troubles with the video players and most of the times I'm not able to play any video ( I always try with all the video alternatives offered by the sites and I got the same), I compare it with chrome android and for my surprise I'm able to watch the videos normally.
I have tried differents things like:
- Uninstalling and Installing again Mozilla on my smartphone ( It does not work)
- Cleaning the history's browser ( It does not work too)
- Checking this issue on a different device ( I got the same problem)
So, I would really appreciate if you could help me with this soon as possible.

Just tried all 3 options again (last time was on a Samsung S5) for www.animeid.tv on my HTC One M7 running Android Kitkat 5 & Firefox 36.0.1
and I see the same behaviour as you described

Trouble with putting sample in time

Hi, I am seem to be having trouble with putting samples that I have made in time with the music, there are some samples in a song that I want to make and repeat, when i repeat the sample. The sample goes out of time, can anyone help me with this? It will be greatly appreciated.
