Intermittent problems are often a result of interference. Interference can be caused by other networks in the neighbourhood or from household electrical items.
You can download and install iStumbler (NetStumbler for windows users) to help you see which channels are used by neighbouring networks so that you can avoid them, but iStumbler will not see household items.
Refer to your router manual for instructions on changing your wifi channel.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

Labview executable only works for about ten seconds before shutting down

Hi,
I'm not a newbie to LabVIEW but I am a newbie to creating executables and installers using LV. On my first attempts I'm having a strange problem that I cannot resolve. I already began discussing this problem on another thread, but I was advised to start a new one.
I've made a variety of VI's but for debugging purposes I made the simplest VI possible: just some plain text on the front panel, no code on the block diagram.
I created a project with just that VI, compiled an executable, compiled an installer, and sent the installation files to my colleague. I use a Win XP machine and so does he. He does not have LV installed.
The installation goes fine, the VI starts up, appears to run fine and then spontaneously quits (i.e. the window closes and disappears) after twelve seconds with no error message.This happens even if I create a VI with a loop. The VI executable, installed via the installer on my WinXP PC (which has the full LV application) does not replicate this problem. It occurs only on a WinXP machine where LV is not installed.
version info: LabVIEW 2010
My debugging ideas going forward are:
- try to play with the "Source File Settings --> Use default save settings" checkboxes, as suggested by another user in another thread.
- ask another colleague with WinXP and no LV to test the VI's, to see if the problem is somehow linked with my first colleague's machine.
- to check the Windows Event Log (following the advice of user Norbert on this forum), but I'm not sure if I'll be able to decipher what I read in there. A first look has turned up nothing interesting.
- am pretty stuck for ideas after that.

Issue solved: the anti-virus was forcing the application to shutdown.
Bit of a newbie problem
I discovered the problem when I tried the executable on another colleague's PC. When the exe was launched, the anti-virus software (Avast!) showed a pop-up that said it was verifying the unknown program and then after about 12 seconds it shut it down. It then proposed to open the program in either the "sandbox" or "as normal" the next time. By choosing "normal" the VI worked fine the next time.
It turns out that on my first colleague's PC, he also had Avast! software, except that on his PC it was running in some sort of hidden background mode. This meant that it didn't display any pop-up messages to indicate that it was interfering with the VI. Once we manually launched the Avast! interface, it finally proposed the option of opening the VI in the sandbox or normally.
All works fine now. I hope this helps other newbies out there.

Itunes will not play my music, when it does it plays for about 10 seconds then speeds through the rest of the song then jumps through the nexts songs in the album, anyone got any ideas dont have a clue

i am having a problem with itunes, i cannot play tracks and when they do play they play for about 10 seconds then speed through to the end then jump down the next few tracks.
Getting really frustrated as i am a complete novice on this type of thing, any help would be appreciated. i have uninstalled itunes and reinstalled no joy

I had used the check to only load certain tracks on my iPod mini that my kids use, while loading everything on my iPod 60GB.
I guess I should come up with a different method for that.

Either this needs to get fixed or i will request my money back because i will not work for my money while other lie about what i spend it on.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

Hello, i have a question on my iphone 4s. I went to a party a few days ago and it had gotten stolen. The next day my friend said that he had found it and it was jaibroken? The phone was on 1 % when i had recieved it. It then died and i plugged it in to the charger. When i plugged it in the apple logo appeared as if it was starting but, it wasnt. The apple logo appeared for about ten seconds and then the screen went black. After that, the connect to itunes screen popped up and will not go away. So now when i take it off of the charger the screen just stays black and wont turn on? I tried connecting it to itunes and restoring it. But it wont even show my phone any more on the side of itunes. I tried restoring it and an error had occured (2001). I have looked up on youtube how to fix this problem and non of them have helped or worked. Its my only phone and i cant even text my girlfriend which bothers me terribly!! Please help me ASAP!!

i have the exact problem in my computer lab running macpro on 10.6.8 using CS5... this is happening in every ADOBE CS5 software using sound : soundbooth, AEX, premier pro. this is totaly ridiculous, nothing like that is happening in the other software (finalcut, finalcut xpress, audacity, soundtrack pro all are working fine) ...

I rarely record automation, and when I do I never do a second pass (usually hand draw automation in) but I have had problems with Logic 7 no longer playing back automation. I've been told its fixed in Logic 8, but in the mean time here is a work around.
Select the region where the automation is (if there is no region, create one using the pencil tool and expand it to cover all automation) and go OPTIONS menu -> TRACK AUTOMATION -> "Move current track data to region data." Now everything should play back as expected. If you want to edit the data, simply select "move current region data to track data" and edit away.
For some reason, Logic 7 will sometimes stop reading track automation data, but I have yet to have it stop reading region automation. This is a bug, and according to other users, has been fixed in Logic 8. Hope this helps until we eventually upgrade

Try update using iTune (Check for Update; see bottom right)

I just had this problem as well and spent quite a bit of time reviewing all of the suggestions/ideas/comments, and since I am not that tech-savy I remembered this "suggestion" from the UK show The "IT Crowd" which was "Have you tried turning it off and on again??" (both devices)

after a you tube video finally loads it will play for a few seconds then quit. after a few minutes it will resume play for a few seconds then quit and resumes the process
