TS2972 iPod touch does not have permission to access requested resource

trying to play video via home sharing and am able to see the videos in the home sharing library, but when I click on a video, I get the message "You do not have permission to access the requested resource."

I came here with the same question. I didn't find an answer here but kept monkeying around with my new ipod touch and THIS WORKED FOR ME...YAY! At the upper left of the screen if you see a little "sharing" symbol, tap it. Then, if you get a choice between "Library" and "Your ipod" (whatever you named it)... tap on your ipod's name. I had mistakenly gone there and tapped library and was not able to acess videos or movies. I was getting the "you do not have permission..." message. Now everything is hunky dorey! Hope this is helpful.

apple wont give me a new phone cause I broke the screen and I replaced it my self.
Correct. When you did that, you voided all warranty/support, & forfeited the right to an out of warranty replacement.
There was nothing wrong with the screen I bought,
And, exactly, how do you know that? Since Apple DOES NOT sell iPhone parts, there is no official source for genuine parts. Thus, many on the market are counterfeit & produce nothing but problems.
    Good luck.

  • Why when I try to login the Itunes Connect with my Apple ID it always says: "Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect."?

Look on one of your bank statements and be sure to enter the billing address exactly as it shows on the statement. Some folks forget where they actually get the statement. They put their home address in iTunes/Mac App Store and they actually get the statement at their place of employment or vice versa.

  • SCVMM 2008 R2 - "The SQL Server service account does not have permission to access Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS)."

I know this question has been asked before, but never for R2, that I can tell, and the posted fixes aren't working. I have just installed SCVMM 2008 R2 on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server, using a remote SQL 2008 SP1 database. When I attempt to connect to SCVMM, I get the following error:
"The SQL Server service account does not have permission to access Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS).
Ensure that the SQL Server service is running under a domain account or a computer account that has permission to access AD DS. For more information, see "Some applications and APIs require access to authorization information on account objects" in the Microsoft Knowledge Base at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=121054.
    ID: 2607"
What I've seen online is that this is usually becuase the domain account SCVMM is running as does not have the proper permissions on the SQL database. Here's what I've confirmed:
    1) My SCVMM service account is a local admin on the SCVMM server
    2) My SCVMM service account is a dbowner on the SCVMM database in SQL
    3) My SQL service account is a dbowner on the SCVMM database in SQL
    4) My SQL service account is a domain user (even made it a domain admin, just in case, and it still "doesn't have access to AD DS," which is obviously untrue)
    5) Neither service account is locked out
Has anyone run in to this? It says in Technet that remote SQL 2008 is supported, as long as the SQL management studio is installed to the SCVMM server, and I installed and patched before I began the SCVMM installation. I just don't know what else to try - I have no errors in event logs, no issues during the installation itself...

That answer was very unhelpful fr33m4n. The individual mentions that they've received the error that points to the KB article. I currently receive the same error -- there seems to be no resolution. I've run the Microsoft VBS script to add TAUG to the WAAG
as suggested by 331951, and that made absolutely no difference.
    1) My SCVMM service account is a local admin on the SCVMM server
    2) My SCVMM service account is a dbowner on the SCVMM database in SQL
    3) My SQL service account is a dbowner on the SCVMM database in SQL
    4) My SQL service account is a domain user (even made it a domain admin, just in case, and it still
"doesn't have access to AD DS," which is obviously untrue)
The user is also a member of WAAG, the machines have delegated authority to each other. Is there any other solution?

To have  EVERYTHING  on your New computer...

  • Cant login to itunes anymore,  Keep getting error Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect.

Cant login to itunes anymore with any of my iphones.  I have 3.  Now I get an error with the following for any phone I try: Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect. I have 2 separate Apple Id Accounts for each phone, both get the same error.
My password is correct and so is my apple id.  Nothing has changed since I first set it up a long time ago.  Worked fine in October.
Anyone have a clue what to do?
Dont even get the option to sync anymore....doesnt highlight.

  • ITunes Connect login - Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect.

    Hi,
I have a company iPhone developer account which I registered two years ago.  I have renewed it and it has not expired.  I am the agent and I know the Apple ID and password as I login to the dev portal fine.  I am now trying to publish my first app under this account but I get this message when trying to log into iTunesConnect Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect.
My account seems to be in some strange state as I invited another developer to my team (my hotmail email account) and then tried to make that user the Agent but that didn't even work, my new user shows up in the list of developers/team members, but I cannot select them in the dropdown to make them the agent, only my current agent name shows.
Is this a hand off to Apple support situation?  I am up against a hard deadline and fear this is going to add significant delays waiting for Apple support to look into it (I've seen some other posts of people waiting 3 weeks with this problem and getting nowhere with support).
Thanks in advance for any help,
    Paul

I only had the one login before.  Yesterday to try to solve it I invited my hotmail account as a developer to the team.  I then tried to make that developer the agent, but even though it shows in the team members, I cannot select the account to be the agent as its not in the dropdown list.
I am on OS X 10.7.3, using Safari.  The dev account did not expire, I renewed it in April 2012 so there is plenty of time left on it.  I am really stuck, this is so frustrating.

  • Getting Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect.

After creating an appleid, filling out the applicadtion and email verifying, I'm still getting the error that this apple id does not have permission to access Itunes Connect.

I'm at over 3 weeks and still waiting. I didn't even get something saying the application was received. Very poor system and communication.

    Then you either need to:
    1) Sign up for Creative Cloud so you can build a Single Edition app. Be warned though: this approach will no longer be valid as of May 1st when we retire support for Single Edition in Creative Cloud, and Single Edition apps are only on iPad devices.
    2) Sign up for a full DPS license. You can request pricing information by filling in Adobe | Request for consultation.

  • Cannot access my iTunesConnect account, I get: "Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect"

iTune Connect does let me log in. "Apple ID does not have permission to access iTunes Connect."

I'm going crazy here. I've emailed, called, and banged my head on every apple support door in existence including:
    - itunes
    - Independent Labels
    - Apple Developer
    - Apple Marketing
    - Apple Support
I filled out an application to sell music on iTunes but messed up one field in the form. I received an email from apple alerting to me about the error and asking me to login to iTunes Connect and finish my application. When I went to the page to fix the form (itunesconnect.apple.com) I received the following error "Your iTunes Connect ID has not been enabled." I tried to start over filling out the application from scratch and received this error "This tax ID is already associated with an iTunes store application."
Seriously, this has been going on in heartless loop since NOVEMBER. It sure doesn't feel like anyone at Apple cares, at least none of the 20 people I've communicated with. Yes, I am about to throw in the towel and sell exclusively on Google Play store.
