Unable to acess BPEL WSDL from OWSM Gateway

Hello all,
I'm trying to register a BPEL Process as a service on a OWSM gateway.
The BPEL WSLD is as follows:
<definitions name="WR01" targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/WR01">

     <types>

     <schema attributeFormDefault="qualified" elementFormDefault="qualified" targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/WR01">

When i test the acess using OWSM console or try and consume it on JDeveloper I get the following error:
java.io.IOException: The document 'http://dcmsinusapp02.dc.local:7780/gateway/services/WR01.xsd' contains HTML tags.
Reason is:
404 Not Found
OracleJSP: java.io.FileNotFoundException:
Set the init-param debug_mode to "true" to see the complete exception message
This file not found exception is related to /gateway/services/WR01.xsd of course.
I've mostly followed the OWSM documentation in order to register the service.
Am I doing anything wrong referencing xsd's or something similar?
Thanks in advance

Answer to my own question:
BPEL processes exposed via OWSM can't be used from JDEV ws proxy generator
But the real question is: how do I prevent relative paths to xsd's on bpel wsdl?
Any pointers?
Thanks

  • B2b unable to pick the file from xml gateway

    Hi All,
    I am taking a scenario where B2B picks the files from xml gateway and drop the files in FTP folder. I modified the XML gateway inbound and outbound, i has given my user credentials(unmae, host ,pwd ,sid, port). In agreement in the place of internal delivery channel i has given XML gateway outbound.
    Still its unable to pick the files from xml gateway.
    Clarify my understanding please
    While b2b picks the files from xml gateway, It will pick from ECX_Inbound or ECX_Outbound?
    Here i am attaching the logs:

  • Unable to read the WSDL in OWSM

    Hello Everyone,
    Iam trying to register BPEL Process on OWSM but it gives me error saying unable to find the WSDL error.
    When I test the Web Service directly from the Web Page it does Load the WSDL on the Test Page.
    But the moment the wsdl is wrapped with virtualized wsdl it does give the following error
    Failed to read WSDL from http://192.168.190.47:9700/ccore/TestGateway/services/SID0003003?wsdl:WSDL not found
    As per the troubleshooting document this error could occur for 2 reasons
    1. If the Gateway is not registered properly on the Gateway.properties file.
    2. If there is proxy or firewall issue.
    Since the Service is local to the same server i dont see any firewall or proxy issue and i did check the Gateway properties file where the Gateway ID is register.I do see the ID present on the file.
    Can someone tell what might be the issue ?
    Regards
    Sabir

    Hi Sab2
    Please go through this thread
    OWSM gateway issue
    In your case, may be you need to redeploy the gateway

    Is there a scenario in which the Service URL from the OWSM gateway is used in the UDDI registry?
    Eg:
    WebService <--------> OWSM Gateway <----------> OSR (UDDI)
    Any information on this is much appreciated
    Regards

    Hi Vikas,
    Well..you don't registrate a gateway in uddi.
    When you registrate a service in owsm, it will generate a new wsdl for you. This wsdl you just need to registrate in uddi just like any other service with wsdl-interface.
    So the authentication fields aren't in uddi configered either...those are just a policy step in owsm. Overthere you can decide how to propegate the values of username/password etc

  • Unable to invoke BPEL HelloWorld from Oracle PL/SQL

    Hi,
    I am trying to invoke a BPEL process (HelloWorld) from Oracle PL/SQL package. I have downloaded the standard "demo_soap.sql" from oracle.com. Find below the PL/SQL block that I am using to invoke to the HelloWorld.
    DECLARE
    req Demo_Soap.request;
    resp Demo_Soap.response;
         zipcode VARCHAR2(100) := 'Suresh';
    BEGIN
    req := Demo_Soap.new_request('initiate',
    'xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorld"');
    Demo_Soap.add_parameter(req, 'HelloWorldProcessRequest', 'xsd:string', zipcode);
    resp := Demo_Soap.invoke(req,
    'http://nooslux037t.gl.2wglobal.com:7777/BPELConsole/Dev/displayProcess.jsp?processId=HelloWorld',
    'http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorld');
    END;
    But, it gives the following error message.
    ORA-30625: method dispatch on NULL SELF argument is disallowed
    Please let me know the value that I need to set:
    1. Method name
    2. TargetName space
    3. URL
    4. SOAPaction.
    Please help me in finding the cause for this error and also the solution.
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Thanks for your reply.
    Is there any pre-requiste required for running the Webservice PL/SQL client?
    I tried running the BPEL process as per your input.
    DECLARE
    req demo_soap.request;
    resp demo_soap.response;
         zipcode VARCHAR2(100) := 'XYZ';
    BEGIN
    req := demo_soap.new_request('initiate', 'http://xmlns.oracle.com/HelloWorld');
    demo_soap.add_parameter(req, 'ZipCode', 'xsd:string', zipcode);
    resp := demo_soap.invoke(req, 'http://nooslux037t.gl.2wglobal.com:7777/orabpel/Dev/HelloWorld/1.0','initiate');
    END ;
    But it threw the following error:
    ORA-20000: soapenv:Server.userException - org.xml.sax.SAXException: No custom elements allowed at top level until after the <body> tag
    I have copied my HelloWorld WSDL file for your reference.

  • Unable to invoke BPEL process from UCM

    Hi,
    I have installed UCM PS5. We have SOA PS3 also installed in the same machine in a different domain.
    I was able to connect to the BPEL server after enableing the UCM-BPEL component in UCM.
    I am able to view the process and have updated the payload parameters with custom UCM metadata fields.
    When i checkin a document with values corresponding to the payload parameters, no request is being sent to the soa process.
    Do i need to do any other setting to invoke the BPEL process. Can any of you give some pointers on this.
    Regards,
    Boopathy P

    Read this manual: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e16759/toc.htm
    I guess you will need to define a workflow, which passes the process to the BPEL as described in the manual.

    You can get sample input by intercepting the request to check what exactly you need to put in SOAP header and what in body.
    To manipulate soap header you can look at : http://www.oracle.com/technology/sample_code/tech/java/codesnippet/webservices/soapheader/index.html

    Thanks chrisswhite,
    I should have mentioned that I tried this too and it didn't solve the problem. You're right though, I should be compiling with -fPIC anyway.

  • Issue in Invoking Enterprise WSDL from BPEL Process

    Hi,
    I am trying to an enterprise WSDL from BPEL. And its giving same error every time.
    "Unable to access the following endpoint(s): https://test.salesforce.com/services..........."
    While I am able to call the methods inside WSDL from soapUI. I know this is not the normal WSDL we use....this WSDL doesn't support get.
    Any help will be highly appreciated....
    Regards,
    En

    I have been able to get this working using 11.1.1.3. Basically you need to create a keystore using the keytool utility that comes with the JDK. You can get the x.509 certificate from https://login.salesforce.com via your browser. Just go the site and view the site certificate which with Firefox you do by double clicking the padlock in the lower right hand corner of the browser. Save the cert and create teh keystore like follows
    keytool -importcert -alias login.salesforce.com -file login.salesforce.com.pem -keystore mySSLidentities
    Once you have this done you set the -Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=your_truststore_location in JAVA_OPTIONS within your setDomainEnv.sh or setDomainEnv.bat file. Once this is done you and restart the SOA server you should be ok.
    See section 6.2 in the Oracle® Fusion Middleware Administrator's Guide for Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Process Management Suite
    11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
    Part Number E10226-04
    You will need to also add the certificate for the URL you get back via the sfdc login call. Use the same procedure as above. What I have to figure out now is how to set the endpoint dynamically for salesforce.com web service calls after the login call.

  • Unable to invoke a EJB from a BPEL process

    I am unable to invoke a EJB from a BPEL process. Whenever I try to test it from the oracle EM, I get the below exception. I am using WebLogic 10.3.3, SOA suite 11.1.1.3 and JDev 11.1.1.3 .
    This is what I see from the EM....

    Looks like its not able to find the javaInterface mentioned above.
    I have a simple EJB with one business method and a very simple BPEL process.
    @Stateless(name = "GreetingEJB", mappedName = "GreetingEJB-GreetingEJB-GreetingEJB")
    @WebService
    public class GreetingEJBBean implements GreetingEJB {
    public GreetingEJBBean() {
    public String greetUser(String name){
    return ("Hello " + name);
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I haven't tried from a BPEL process, but I have had success (as in Lucas's blogs) of using services and references as EJB Java Interface. This is with EJB java interfaces solely of base types (i.e. String foo(String s)).
    At high level here's what I have noted so far:
    1. Per Lucas's blog, @javaInterface is not being added to the ejb.binding automatically but it's not clear to me when this is and is not required given that interface.java is specified for the reference or service. Would interface.java and @javaInterface ever be different? I've been adding @javaInterface manually anyways since Lucas is a smart guy and I'd rather avoid errors. :-)
    2. Dropping an EJB interface jar in SCA-INF/lib works, but I've had the problem that the JDeveloper SOA Plugin doesn't see those classes until I stop and restart JDeveloper. Until then, I'm confronted with the java->wsdl mapping error. I was sort of primed to figure this one out since I ran into similar issues with SOA SpringBean components.
    3. Dropping EJB interface source in SCA-INF/src is more reliable, because then I can build the project (i.e. create SCA-INF/classes) and the JDeveloper SOA Plugin seems to resolve these brand new classes immediately.
    4. I've tried to invoke an EJB java-interface reference with a slightly complicated java interface (a class parameter with some fields, one of which is an array of another class). The auto-generated WSDL doesn't look exactly right to me (but I'm new to JAXB). Mediator maps to it just fine and the project compiles and deploys normally but fails at runtime. I have not researched in depth. It's not clear to me from the documentation and release notes whether I should expect for it to work, or whether I should expect to have to create my own JAXB mapping. If the latter, I really need a good example!

    Any idea what could have went wrong suddenly, everything was working fine from last 1 month.

    Never mind, figured out there was a lock on SQL table which caused all the problems. Once I released the lock it PowerPivot refresh started working fine.

  • Unable to Invoke a BPEL webservice from a java client

    Hi ,
    We have developed (using Jdeveloper 10.1.3.1.0) a BPEL Process which invoke a PL/SQL procedure. This BPEL process is deployed on the Oracle SOA Suite server 10.1.3.1.0.
    Out third pary vendor is trying to invoke this BPEL webservice from there network.
    They generated a web service proxy using WSDl URL http://afh-fut01.futurus.com:8888/orabpel/default/xxff_bankonet_service/1.0
    When our third party vendors are trying to invoke our BPEL web service they are getting the following exception
    calling http://afh-fut01.futurus.com:8888/orabpel/default/xxff_bankonet_service/1.0
    java.rmi.ServerException:
    start fault message:

    at project1.proxy.Xxff_bankonet_servicePortClient.main(Xxff_bankonet_servicePortCli
    ent.java:39)
    To explain more on this
    1. From our network we are able to invoke the web service from the client generated from Jdeveloper(i.e.using the
    WSDL)and also from the client generated through AXIS 1.4
    2. However when the third party vendors are trying to invoke the same service
    using client generated from Jdeveloper at their end they ar getting the aboe exception
    3. Vendor is able to ping the SOA Suite server in our network and also send a request to our server from the browser, but while executing the client they are getting an exception
    Please let me know what is the solution to this problem.
    Best Regards
    Meenal

    Try this to verify that your process on the SOA Suite is correct:
    Use the tool SoapUI (open source) to execute a request based on the WSDL of your web service. If this is correct your process is working fine. SoapUI acts as a client to call your webservice via Soap.
    If the call is working, then something on the webservice-client-proxy of the third-party is wrong. Try to find out what they send as soap request.

    Marc
