Unable to Acess JSP Page

Hi,
I am new to NWDS. I have created a webapplication and accesning the web service in my jsp code.
i deployed the application in Server. I am getting the following exception.
Details:   com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.WebIOException:
  Error compiling [/Myjsp.jsp] of alias [sampleweb] of J2EE application [sap.com/samplewebEAR].
Exception id: [001A4B4A48CE0046000003AD00001BE400045B8C3C2C589C]
Could you please let me know the why it so.
I got the result in webservice. I need to print the same in web application.
The code i mensioned in jsp is
<%@ page language="java" import = "com.intelli.ess.proxy.*" %>
try
                    Testessws service = new TestesswsImpl();
                    TestesswsViDocument stub = service.getLogicalPort();
                    stub._setProperty(TestesswsViDocument.USERNAME_PROPERTY,"j2ee_admin");
                    stub._setProperty(TestesswsViDocument.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,"Intelli1");
                    out.write("-result-"+stub.details("1691"));
               }catch(Exception e)
                    out.write("ErrorMessageIn"+e.getMessage())
I have added all the supported jar files in lib directory.
Please let me know the solution.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Ram

First check whether a simple jsp file with just "Hello World" is running or not.
If it is running than my guess is that the library you are importing in JSP is not getting imported.
This could be because your library is not in your classpath when you are deploying the application, check that in you ear file, WEB-INF/lib folder for this.
Basically you will try several things out to get to source of error.
all the best.

  • Help needed..Unable to acess JSP page..

              Hai!
              I started Admin Server and Managed Server. When i tried to acess jsp page that
              is deployed in the default webapplication of Managed server , In the log file
              of Managed Server It is adding AdminServer to the Client list and application
              hangs(Nothing will be displayed in browser..Neither error message nor Desired
              page ). I am wondering why this is happening as Admin server is neither participating
              in a cluster nor is the Target for default webapplication of Managed server .
              Any help?

    Hello
    I have deployed a webapplication on SunONE application server installed on a SunOS 5.8 box. When I try to access any page , I keep getiing errors indicating that the page could not be compiled. An attempt to compile the page seperately using the javac installed with the App server however succeeds.

  • Unable to view jsp page containing jsf tags

    I'm pretty new to this JSF world, so facing lot of problems. I have installed JWSDP ver 1.2 When I start tomcat and specify URL http://localhost:8080 the site goes in waiting phase for ever. So even I'm not able to view/run the samples provided for jsf.
    Moreover, i have created a simple appln to test jsf tag, but it's giving following error:
    javax.servlet.ServletException: This absolute uri (http://java.sun.com/jsf/core) cannot be resolved in either web.xml or the jar files deployed with this application
         at javax.faces.webapp.FacesServlet.service(FacesServlet.java:207)
    I don't know where the problem is. The code for sample i have downloaded from http://www.horstmann.com/corejsf/tutorial.html
    but with no success in running jsf app.
    anyone know the reason, why??
    Thanx in Advance,

  • Problem in compiling JSP page in OC4J 10.1.3.0.0

    Dear all,
    I started the ocj4 container that came with Jdeveloper. After starting the ocj4 server, I try to test it with the Servlet and JSP example. The Servlet Example work fine but I encounter the following error when I run the JSP example.
    2006-01-12 11:08:39.379 NOTIFICATION J2EE JSP0008 Unable to dispatch JSP Page :Exception:oracle.jsp.provider.JspCompileException: <H3>Errors compiling:C:\Program Files\Oracle\j2ee\home\application-deployments\default\defaultWebApp\persist

    /pre>
    I think this should be a setup problem, please kndly advise.

    After reading the theads in the forum, I am able to get the jsp running by using full path to specify the java executable.
    e.g. C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_02\bin\java -jar oc4j.jar
    This should be a path problem. After I set the path variable correctly
    i.e. add C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.5.0_<version>\bin to PATH environment variable. It work fine. I hope this help the newbie like me. :D
    Indeed, I wonder why we need two jdk for the oc4j. Follow the instruction, I need to install a jdk. However, I find there is another jdk under $ORACLE_HOME\jdk. This is make the situation confusing and saw quite a lot of threads are related to this problem long time ago!

  • StackOverflowError - when trying to run a JSP Page in JDeveloper

    Hello all,
    I am experiencing an error when I try to run a .jspx page in JDeveloper (10.1.3.3). Below is the error I am getting. Any idea where I need to look to resolve this memory issue?

    I don't see any errors or warnings in the Structure. I am going through the Veeva Vacations example from the WebCenter Demos and Samples page (http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/webcenter/owcs_10132_demos.html). There is nothing complex about the page it just contains an ADF Read-only table based on a Database table. I was able to run it successfully and then another time I ran it I got that error. It seems to me as though it is a memory issue as opposed to a page error. I am just not sure where to look to allocate more memory.

  • Can't visit jsp pages in 64 bit mode without first visiting them in 32 bit

    we have an application that we deployed into a standalone oc4j running on solaris 10 x86 sun workstation.
    Oc4j is run in 64 bit mode. After Oc4j is started, any jsp page we try to visit, the page fails to be shown and the
    below error is shown in the log:
    INFO: Unable to dispatch JSP Page : Exception:oracle.jsp.provider.JspCompileException: Errors compiling:/opt/oc4j/j2ee/home/application-deployment_
    s/App/App/persistence/_pages//_info_jspx.java

    INFO: Unable to dispatch JSP Page : Exception:oracle.jsp.provider.JspCompileException: Errors compiling:/opt/oc4j/j2ee/home/application-deployment_
    s/App/App/persistence/_pages//_info_jspx.java
    As a workaround to this issue, we had to visit every page in the application while oc4j is running in 32 bit mode and then restart OC4j in 64 bit
    mode. After this, we are able to successfully visit every jsp page. This is very painful as everytime we redeploy the application, we have to
    revisit all pages in 32 bit mode before we can revisit them in 64 bit mode.
    How can we avoid this painfull excercise of having to visit all pages in 32 bit mode in order to successfully visit them in 64 bit mode ?
    we are using:
    JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.9.4066 with JDK 1.5.0_06.

    Could be corrupted preferences.
    In the Finder, choose Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
    Type ~/Library/Preferences in the "Go to the folder" field.
    Press the Go button.
    Remove the  com.apple.logic.pro.plist  file from the Preferences folder. Note that if you have programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. I had tried to configure the java development kit to the relevant directory in the catalina.bat file. Am I configuring in the wrong place?

    If you haven't already, you need to set the JAVA_HOME environment variable.
    Setting it in catalina.bat is the wrong place. In Windows XP you can set the environment variables by
    1 - right click My Computer: propreties.
    2 - Advanced Tab
    3 - Button "Environment Variables" (near the bottom)
    4 - add a System Variable: JAVA_HOME to be the place you installed java
    JAVA_HOME should point to the directory you installed java. ie NOT to the java/bin directory (one common error)
    Hope this helps,

    As the [HTML specification|http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/interact/forms.html] states, you should be setting the enctype to multipart/form-data to be able to upload files to the server. In the server side, you need to process the multipart/form-data binary stream by parsing the HttpServletRequest#getInputStream(). It is a lot of work to get it to work flawlessly. There are 3rd party API's around which can do that for you, such as [Apache Commons FileUpload|http://commons.apache.org/fileupload] (carefully read the User Guide how to use it).
    You can also consider to use a Filter which makes use of the FileUpload API to preprocess the request so that you can continue writing the servlet code as usual. Here is an example: [http://balusc.blogspot.com/2007/11/multipartfilter.html].

    During the initial pass, I decided to leave this password null in both places, which is documented within the peopletools 8.53.00 installation guide. Maybe, it's time to further test. Thank you Nicolas.To be honest I've never tried to leave it blank in previous releases, thought that was mandatory (it was not prompted in psadmin menu as it is with PT8.53).
    I don't have a PTools 8.53 instance in hands right now, but after a quick test over here on PT8.51, I have the same issue as yours.
    Let me also remind you that there are two separate scenarios that may be received via the sign-on page:
    1.) "The application server is down" status message without the "bea.jolt.ServiceException: TPESVCERR - server error while handling request" error.
    2.) "The application server is down" status message including the "bea.jolt.ServiceException: TPESVCERR - server error while handling request" error.As I said earlier, you should get more clue in the webserver logfiles.

  • Unable to load the second Jsp Page

    Hi,
    I have three jsp pages. The first is a Login.jsp which takes userid and password and after clicking on submit will take the user to the validate.jsp which validates the userid and password and if userid and password are valid redirects to a third jsp which has contentType="application/x-java-jnlp-file". All that is working fine, what is not working is after clicking on submit button I am not seeing validate.jsp page (i.e title and heading etc.), the browser stays in login.jsp page.
    Any suggestions.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    Couple of things :
    1. Make sure that the "ACTION" sttribute in the FORM is pointing to the right URL.
    2. Make sure that the SUBMIT button is inside the FORM tags, then make sure that the SUBMIT button is in the same FORM as the Text Fields .
    If it is still causing you problems , please post your code.

    So if u have any way out for it please let me know.

    I think you only need to add: c:\j2sdk1.4.2_01
    you have specified jre on the end of your path, it is not the jre that is required, but the jdk.
    If you are using startup.bat and shutdown.bat (or .sh on Linux) you can amend the files with a text editor (open the startup.bat in notepad), like so:
    @echo off
    set JAVA_HOME=c:\j2sdk1.4.2_01
    if "%OS%" == "Windows_NT" setlocal
    I this will start Tomcat with the correct settings, regardless of your environment settings.
