Unable to parse soap fault due to SOAP version

The business logic deployed to my Weblogic server invokes a 3rd party web service. When the 3rd party web service throws a soap fault, the web service client fails to parse it:
SOAPFaultException - FaultCode [[http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/]env.Server <http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/%5denv.Server> <http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/%5denv.Server> ] FaultString [RMSX1000:An unrecoverable system error has occured. please contact RMS support at [email protected] Message > [0]. I used a network packet analyzer and found out that the soap fault structure is different as the 3rd party use the soap 1.1 implementation which has a different structure. My question is how do I generate the client stubs for a specific version (as currently they appear to be generated for Soap 1.2)? I reviewed the clientgen Ant task documentation and found no clue.
I think I may try to use stub._setProperty(WLStub.CONVERSATION_VERSION_PROPERTY, WLStub.CONVERSATION_VERSION_ONE) or some of its properties and see it that works - documentation is unclear.

    I have seen that error before, try using a different ip address for your machine, I'm not sure that the one you're using ( 1.1.1.2 ) is valid. Try ip an ip address using one of the following blocks:
    10.x.x.x
    192.168.x.x
    load_ocfs will throw that error if it just doesn't like your configuration sometimes, or if you havn't generated an ocfs.conf.
    Can you ping your other node ( 1.1.1.1 I assume )?

    Which version of Flexbuilder are you using? FB2.01 just

  • Parsing SOAP Results into Variables

    Can someone assist me in figuring out what way I need to go
    to parse SOAP results into an array?
    I have setup the <MX:WEBService> correctly, created my
    resultEvent(event) handler and faultEvenet(event) handler as
    needed. Below is the web service:
    <mx:WebService
    id="srvGetTagHistory" wsdl="{SOAP_URL}"
    result="CreateTagHistory(event)" fault="faultEvenet(event)"
    useProxy="false">
    <mx:operation name="GetTagHistory" resultFormat="e4x">
    <mx:request>
    <RSWID>{vRSWID}</RSWID>
    </mx:request>
    </mx:operation>
    </mx:WebService>
    This works perfectly. I can return the results of the
    webservice to a text area control, and the complete SOAP results
    are displayed.
    My problem is I cannot and have not figured out how to make
    the SOAP results into some type of arraycollection for using in,
    lets say, a dataGrid.
    Here is an example of a SOAP result for the above webservice:

    Any assistance to this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    If you have set resultFormat="e4x" than you can handle the
    result very easily.
    I guess you already find out that your result is in
    event.result.
    Your example is too hard to parse by human.
    You can read:
    http://livedocs.adobe.com/labs/flex3/html/help.html?content=13_Working_with_XML_01.html
    Especially: Traversing XML structures and Using XML
    namespaces
    I hope this will help

    Running PB 12.1 Build 7000.  Using Easysoap.  Error ""Error while parsing SOAP XML payload: no element found" received when invoking Web Service".  This error does not appear to be coming from the application code.  Noticed that there were some erroneous characters showing up within the header portion of the XML ("&Quot;").  Not sure where these are coming from.  When I do a find within the PB code for ""&quot;" it gets located within two objects, whereas they both reference a "temp_xml_letter".  Not sure where or what temp_xml_letter resides???   The developer of this is no longer with us and my exposure to WSDL and Web Services is rather limited.  Need to get this resolved...please.

    Maybe "extraneous" is an incorrect term.  Apparantly, based upon the writeup within Wiki, the parser I am using does not interpret the "&quot;"?  How do I find which parser is being utilized and how to control it?
    <<<
    If the document is read by an XML parser that does not or cannot read external entities, then only the five built-in XML character entities (see above) can safely be used, although other entities may be used if they are declared in the internal DTD subset.
    If the document is read by an XML parser that does read external entities, then the five built-in XML character entities can safely be used. The other 248 HTML character entities can be used as long as the XHTML DTD is accessible to the parser at the time the document is read. Other entities may also be used if they are declared in the internal DTD subset.

  • Parse SOAP messages

    Hi,
    I would like to know how efficient would be to use Oracle Text to parse SOAP messages. The body of the SOAP messages are heterogeneous in terms of format and size (smallest messages is about 20 lines, biggest message is about 200 lines). The number of records to parse is approximately one hundred thousand every hour.
    Thank you.

    In what sense do you want to "parse" them? Do you just want to find individual strings in the SOAP messages, or are you looking to fully interpret the meaning and content of the SOAP messages? If it's the second of these, then Oracle Text is not the right solution - you could perhaps look at Oracle XML Database instead.

  • Unable to process SOAP Header child element 'wsse:Security' with 'mustUnder

    Hello everyone.
    In have created project in Jdeveloper. In this one i have one external reference for Siebel Service.
    At composite, for external reference service(Siebel Service) i have added a security policy i.e. *"oracle_wss_username_token_client_policy"*.
    [Right click on SiebelService->configure WS policies->under security tab i have selected above policy]
    So apart from this i have added property for the policy
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.username" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">SADMIN</property>
    <property name="oracle.webservices.auth.password" type="xs:string"
    many="false" override="may">SADMIN</property>
    But its returning following error,
    Unable to process SOAP Header child element 'wsse:Security' with 'mustUnderstand="1"'(SBL-EAI-08000)
    This really pushed back me in development.
    Really i am in need of help. Help me out of this issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Shridhar

    Unable to process SOAP Header child element 'wsse:Security' with 'mustUnderstand="1"'(SBL-EAI-08000)The problem is at Siebel side. It is not able to understand the security mechanism being used at SOA side. There are two options -
    1. Use the custom policy and assertion at SOA side (please refer to metalink note - 1419373.1)
    2. Write your own custom message handler class and use it at Siebel side to negotiate security gap

    Anuj

    Hi Mohan,
    I didn't use Fiddler before, I just download and use it but how to see the request message from this software?
    I have logged the request to event log before send to web service and copy this request from event log to testing with soapUI, so I don't think have between the actual messages being sent to your client via orchestration and soapui. In the log Response shape
    I see the fault response in event log.
    You can see
    this link to know how to use fiddler. As I suggested above the error you need to check is at the server side who is hosting the service( your party ) because you are getting fault response properly from them. The webservice you are calling seems to look
    like WCF service too. Your life would have been so easier if you could ask them to have firewall open from your dev box to their dev server so that you can use use "Add Service Reference" wizard, that even they have .NET wcf service too.
    Did you by any chance manage to talk to them what they are getting or if they can increase the exception details in the fault message for you?
    If this answers your question please mark it as Answer and if this post is helpful, please vote as helpful. Thanks !

  • Error Calling Web Service - VersionMismatch Wrong SOAP Version

    Hello,
    I am attempting to create a web service from a function module, and to call this web service from outside of SAP.
    I used the Web Service Creation Wizard to create a web service from BAPI_CURRENCY_GETLIST, and tested it using the Web Service Homepage button from transaction WSADMIN. Everything seems to work OK so far.
    To test calling the web service, I copied the SOAP envelope from the web service homepage into a vbscript file:
    Const HOST = "http://<server>.<domain>:<port>"
    Const URL = "/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/ZWSD_Currency?sap-client=<nnn>"

    How can I tell what version(s) of SOAP the NetWeaver 2004 platform supports? Has anyone seen and resolved this error?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mark

    Hi Anton,
    Thanks for the helpful suggestion. I did try setting SOAPAction using xmlhttp.setRequestHeader, but that didn't seem to make any difference. I may not have formatted the SOAP header correctly, however.
    What I noticed is that if I added a slash at the end of the xmlns:soap tag in the SOAP envelope, I got a different error message (SOAP Processing failure, error id = 112).
    I downloaded version 2.0 of the .NET framework and the SOAPSonar tool. SOAPSonar was able to format the SOAP envelope from the WSDL. When I pasted the SOAP envelope from SOAPSonar into my vbscript file, it worked. So, the vbscript looks like this:
    Const HOST = "http://nwr051.nwenergy:1080"
    Const URL = "/sap/bc/srt/rfc/sap/ZWSD_Currency?sap-client=100"
    Const FORMAT = "dd-MMM-yy"
    ' Create the HTTP object
    Set xmlhttp = CreateObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP")
    Dim Request
    Request = "<?xml version=""1.0"" encoding=""utf-8""?>" & _
              "<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap=""http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"" xmlns:xsi=""http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"" xmlns:xsd=""http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"" xmlns:tns=""urn:sap-com:document:sap:soap:functions:mc-style"">" & _
              " <soap:Body>" & _
              "    <tns:CurrencyGetlist>" & _
              "      <CurrencyList>" & _
              "      </CurrencyList>" & _
              "    </tns:CurrencyGetlist>" & _
              "  </soap:Body>" & _
              "</soap:Envelope>"
    xmlhttp.open "POST", HOST & URL, False
    xmlhttp.send (request)
    MsgBox (xmlhttp.responseXML.xml)
    Again, thanks for taking the time to read through this and offer your insight.
    Regards,
    Mark

    I guess this has something  to do with authorizations or portal permissions ? Can anyone help me with this problem?

    Enabled the Services due to transaction SICF, now I'm getting to following message:
    Error when processing your request
    What has happened?
    The URL http://nldbpd00.phobos-servicenet.nl:8010/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/UMB_BSC_MY_ELEM/ was not called due to an error.
    Note
    The following error text was processed in the system DV0 : WebDynpro Exception: ICF service node "/sap/public/bc/icons" is not active (see SAP Note 517484)
    The error occurred on the application server nldbpd00_DV0_01 and in the work process 0 .
    The termination type was: RABAX_STATE
    The ABAP call stack was:
    Method: RAISE of program CX_WD_GENERAL=================CP
    Method: STARTUP_CHECKS of program CL_WDR_UCF====================CP
    Method: CONSTRUCTOR of program CL_WDR_UCF====================CP
    Method: CREATE of program CL_WDR_UCF====================CP
    Method: HANDLE_REQUEST of program CL_WDR_CLIENT_ABSTRACT_HTTP===CP
    Method: IF_HTTP_EXTENSION~HANDLE_REQUEST of program CL_WDR_MAIN_TASK==============CP
    Method: EXECUTE_REQUEST of program CL_HTTP_SERVER================CP
    Function: HTTP_DISPATCH_REQUEST of program SAPLHTTP_RUNTIME
    Module: %_HTTP_START of program SAPMHTTP
    What can I do?
    If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system DV0 in transaction ST22.
    If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server nldbpd00_DV0_01 in transaction SM21.
    If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 0 in transaction ST11 on the application server nldbpd00_DV0_01 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.
    If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.
    Seems to be work for an ABAP-er.

  • SPICE Netlist Error: Unable to parse parameter name

    The history so far (using MS11):
    I tried to make a new component, i.e. the CNY70.
    Therefore I needed the simulation model. So I designed a simple subckt that I tested, and ok, it works.
    Subckt schematic exported a netlist, lines added:   .SUBCKT <name> 1 2 3 4   and   .ENDS
    This .cir file used as Model for the new part I created.
    And then....used this new part in a testschematic.....and the simulation is aborted:::
    SPICE Netlist Error in schematic RefDes 'd1', element 'ud1': Unable to parse parameter name
    SPICE Netlist Error in schematic RefDes 'd1', element '<unknown>': Due to errors, the component 'ud1' has been omitted from the simulation.
    QUESTION: what did I do wrong / what am I missing in the Subckt file????
    I looked in some modelfiles of opto-manuf. like Avago, and they all make use of V-controlled-I sources etcetera.

    Hello Capera,
    I understand that spending alot time and ending up with an error can be extremely frustrating.
    I did some further testing and it seems like I get the same error even with an empty model.
    It seems to not be purely linked to this model.
    Which specific steps did you follow?

  • Determinations Server - SOAP version

    I have generated a java client from my WSDL file (http://localhost:9000/determinations-server9000/interview/soap/MyRuleBase?wsdl) using JAX-WS wsimport.
    However when I attempted to use the Java client, I get the following run time exception.
    SEVERE: SAAJ0140: No NamespaceURI, SOAP requires faultcode content to be a QName
    javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: com.sun.xml.internal.messaging.saaj.SOAPExceptionImpl: No NamespaceURI, SOAP requires faultcode content to be a QName
    After a bit of googling, I found that the my JAX-WS client is using SOAP1.2 whereas the Determinations server is using SOAP 1.1?
    How do I force my JAX-WS client to use SOAP 1.1?
    I understand that I can generate a client using Axis2 as well- but my preference would be to use JAX-WS.

    Actually I don't think this has anything to do with the soap version that jax-ws uses.
    In some 10.2 versions of the Determination Server a fault was being incorrectly returned as "SOAP-ENVClient" instead of "SOAP-ENV:Client". This is probably causing the error you are seeing.
    This bug was fixed in 10.3 which has just been released as General Availability and you can get it from Oracle E-Delivery (https://edelivery.oracle.com/)
    Also, the fact that you are getting a soap fault means that you are sending wrong information to the determinations server. I suggest using a tool like tcpmon to trap the request and response so you can see what the error is.

    Hi,
    Goto MS-WORD application
    1. Open MSWord and use Insert->Symbol.
    2. Now find the font you want
    there are special characters also ... chk out that also .
    It will solve the issue... even in case of checkbox case you use this way.
    Its due to font was not applied on your MS-Word application.

  • Unable to parse query when using dblink in forms 4.5

    Hi,
    I have created a query that uses a DBlink because I need to do query on a table located on another dbase. I've used the query on creating my report using Reports 6i. The report needs to be called from a menu on our system, which was developed under Developer 2000 (forms 4.5). The problem is, when I tried to access the report from the menu, it returns the error 'unable to parse query'. What I did after getting error was to create a dummy module using Forms 6i, and call my report from there. It worked fine.
    By the way, the table that I'm accessing using the dblink is under Oracle 9i dbase, and the dbase of the system that I've been working at is Oracle 8i.
    I don't have any idea on what's causing this error. Is there a compatibility issue when using a dblink located in Oracle 9i database with forms 4.5?
    Thanks!

    Hello,
    Not sure if it is the good answer, but I know that Forms does not recognize dblink and owner.object syntax. You have to create a simple synomym that point to the distant object and use this synonym within Forms.
