Unable to update BlackBerry World after i installed the Brand New Playbook Update 2.1.0.1917....can any one help Please

Ok so now it sends me to the KNOWLEDGE BASE 
KB35784 BlackBerry World displays
"There were problems completing this purchase" when attempting to purchase an item.
went thru all the steps and STILL NO UPDATE TO BALCKBERRY WORLD...

    You have to Activate BlackBerry Data Plan / BIS on your account, It will allow you to add your BlackBerry ID on your phone and will allow you to use all BlackBerry Service over your Mobile Network . Please call your Carrier or Mobile service provider they can add it on your account.

  • Unable to update ' PSILOC World Traveler v 1.9(3)"...

    I have Nokia E5-00 phone with latest version  091.001 installed. I have PSILOC World Traveler version 1.9(3).
    I checked for updates to this from within this App a few days before, an update for World Traveler was available.
    Now when I try to update to latest version, the update utility downloads new version but after the installation process begins, the installation utility notifies with "update failed" error.

    If you're downloading an update for an already installed application and you're downloading over a stable internet connection, there should be no reason for the update to fail.
    Just in case, please update the phone's software with Nokia Suite or reinstall the current software when no update is available. This will clear up any potential bugs in the phone that might stop you from installing the PSILOC World Traveler update. You can do this by clicking on the green arrow in Nokia Suite, the option to reinstall the current software is displayed in blue.

    I've been receiving this error ever since u tried to back up my files on my windows laptop, and no matter what I do I can't seem to get it to work.
    Is there any work around for this error? Or is there any way to reinstall app world using my browser?

  • Unable To Update blackberry z10 os to 10.2 from 10.0.10.82!!

    Hello!
    I purchased new blackberry z10 2 days before.
    And I have software version 10.0.10.82 installed on my z10.
    And I was trying to update to update it to 10.2 from yesterday but was unable to do it.
    I tried all three methods available, (on the web, ota, blackberry link)
    On the OTA option, device downloads the full update but at the STEP 2(installing) it fails and gives an error- failed to update, please try again.
    And when I tried updating on bb link, i got this error when download is being running at any level of percentage like it happened at 16% then 24% - "an error has occurred while downloading software for your device. please verify your internet connection or try again later, if the problem persists."
    Same error occurred on the option of "On the web".
    I am attaching snapshots, please help me what to do now.

  • Unable to update Blackberry software application & files

    I have a Blackberry 9360. I've just run the Blackberry Desktop Software. It shows that I can update the software for my phone. However, whenI try to it comes up with amessage that says an error occurred, and I can't install it. My internet connection is fine. I've tried this a number of times with same result !! Any ideas what's wrong, or how to fix it ?
    Also,  when on Blackberry Desktop Software and I click on 'pictures' under te Media Sync, it shows I have no pictures. I did have pictures, and pictures show up against my contacts, so I don't know what's happened, or if this is related to my updating problem. If I click on 'Music' I can see a message that states that I have insufficient storage to media sync. Any ideas ??

    I had the exact same problem. What I do was Back-Up my BlackBerry (make sure you do this), then wipe the handheld. After its been restored to factort settings, before you do anything else on the device, plug it into your computer / laptop and open Desktop Manager. Then update it from the Software and that should fix it, well that's how I fixed mine?

  • Cannot update blackberry world

    It is very frustrating. I want to update my Blackberry for the various apps and when asked for my username and password, I key them in and then I'm asked for the username associates with the smartphone which is my email I put my email but it is not recognized never ever ever. I can't use the apps because I can't download them and I don't understand why this wretched thing is not working. I went to my account and my username is my email but still they ask me for the username like I've entered something wrong.

    What else might cause this behavior, and how can I resolve it?
    Outdated permissions on the files from your old computer. Right-click, Properties --> Security --> Advanced, disable Inherit settings from parent folders, chose to copy. After that, delete outdated security keys and assign current ones. You may even need to go so fart as to Take Ownership of some files to correctly restore the new system's default security settings.

    Yesterday tried to update blackberry world and the installation is frozen/stuck
    I can't update or download any application in BlackBerry world ! I also tried to reset from settings but nothing happened.

    are you able to cancle it or is this while restarting the computer ?
    it might come up as having troubles vaildating the packages and you'll just have to reinstall them.
    how long have you been waiting?
    is your computer's connection to the internet good or on and responsive?

    Given that thousands (millions?) of others don't have this issue, I would say it is not the upgrade version that is the cause of your issue.
    Please try this. With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
    KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive
    2) Reboot
    Pre-BB10 Devices ONLY. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes.
    BB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt the battery-pull method above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you!

You also might want to look at a complete device WIPE to see if that fixes things. Otherwise, contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

  • App error 603 after updating Blackberry messenger

     Hi
    I updated Blackberry World and Blackberry Messenger simultaneously. After rebooting, the phone goes on, does 'software security verification' then shows me a white screen that says 'App error 603' Reset'.
    I got it to work once (I don't know how) and then I couldn't get into Blackberry messenger - I tried deleting it, but the phone wouldn't give me the option. Now it just constantly goes to the white screen.
    Anyone know what I could try?

    App compatibility is a choice by the app developer. The on-device BBWorld is designed to only show you those apps where the developer has chosen to support your specific device model and OS level. Given what you describe, I would deduce that the developer has not chosen to support yours. You can see what platforms they have chosen to support via your PC in BBWorld, when not logged into your BBID...search for the app and there will be drop down menus listing the BB models and OS levels the developer has chosen to support. The place to make your request, therefore, is to the app developer...plead with them to port their app to your device model and OS level.

    I have recently acquired a Curve 9300 from Vodafone. I have registered for an ID but when I try to download a new application I get the message "Unable to validate address & password". When I click on "Forgotten password?" the message comes back "Unable to connect to World Server. Error Id: 30637". In addition the website does not recognize the combination of address and password. I have sent an email from my computer to my Blackberry email and it was received without any problems. Any ideas, please?

  • Blackberry World thinks I need to update Apps that are already up-to-date. (Infinite Update Loop)

    Hello,
     I have been having trouble with Blackberry World.  It states that I have apps that need updating, but I already have the most recent update of these apps.  In addition, BBW states that I need updates for apps that I no longer have installed on my phone. (and I cant seem to uninstall these apps via BBW)
    I have tried installing the update (even if its not needed), and uninstalling/re-installing the apps, and nothing eliminates this problem.  "Refresh BlackBerry World" does not help either.
    for an example: I have 9 apps that BBW thinks I need to update.  One of which is Blackberry Blend. When I click on Blend, It states that the Update is available to Version 1.1.0.67, but directly underneath, it states that I have Installed Version 1.1.0.67 !!!  If I choose to perform the update, the notice for updating Blend shows back up in BBW immediatley.   The same issue is occuring with a number of apps, including: Google Talk, Skype, etc..
    Any suggestions on how to stop this BBW App Update Infinite Loop?

    Hi,  I've tried clearing the cache multiple times.  With or without reboot, it doesn't seem to fix the problem.
    I should probably mention that this is on a Z10 STL100-3  OS release 10.3.1.1865 OS version 10.3.1.2708.  This problem was occuring with only Skype before the upgrade from 10.2, but since the update its with 9 other Apps as well.  I even completely wiped my phone, and only selectively restored a handful of apps to prevent the issue, but thats when BBW now displays required updates for Apps I no longer have installed on the phones since starting from scratch.
    any other suggestions?
