Unicode issue for custom CLASS

Hi Experts,
we have a custom CLASS 'Z_ADD_INN_SALES' as part of unicode conversion i have corrected all the unicode compliants found in the UCCHECK transaction associated with the CLASS and also marked unicode check in the properties of the class. But still it is saying it is not compatible for unicode. I am not able to activate the object because of this error. Kindly let me know whether i need to do any thing else which i have missed for unicode check.

Apparently there is a coding-related Unicode error in the class. Check it with UCCHECK and analyze the error message.

Where to set the classpath for custom classes in jsp

Hi,
we have created our custom classes in and ported in contentDB and that classes are internally using some jar files. Previously we have set the classpath of all the jar files provided in CDB devkit in the orion-web.xml but if are opening the explorer.jsp or any other jspx of contentDB we are getting the classcastexception and page is not opening.
Is there any problem in setting the classpath. Please if any one knows abt this, reply as soon as possible.

I think it is Oracle 10g Release 2... since when I click the top OAS link in the Enterprise Manager Console, it took me to 'Enterprise Manager 10g Grid Control Release 2' this page.
And...10g Application Server Control Release 10.1.2.0.1, I think 2.0.1 means Release 2.

Custom events for custom classes

So what I'm trying to build is a custom class wich connects

Viewing issues for custom list exported from Excel

Exported a table from Excel to use in our Sharepoint Online site. I am a site owner. The table/list shows up for all owners. When a team site member tries to view the list it only shows the headers and no items. The list is inheriting
the permissions from the site and the members can see other content on the site. I have even stopped the inheritance and set custom permissions for the list but it still only shows for owners. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for the help.

The Forum isn't really designed as a training system but rather where people can share questions or get a separate pair of eyes to look afresh at issues that aren't working for some reason. This is particularly the case for something which is as important as creating dimensions.
The idea of the SSM Cube Builder/Model Designer was to enable people to build models with their relevant dimensions and metrics for demos and simple initial systems using manual data entry. If you are getting into building dimensions that will be outside BW then you are moving into the implementation arena rather than demo creation and need to work carefully so that things tie up.
I doubt people would expect to be able to set up/implement BW without training and SSM is the same.
If you would like training or would like to collaborate on a first project to enable skills transfer then my colleague Pedro and I would be happy to discuss this. We have done this with other people and it has worked well.

Delta issue for Customized field in LO Datasource.

I have one customized field 'ZCOORNAME' in the DS 2LIS_05_Q0NOTIF. I have changed this field in Tcode- QM02 and checked the changes in TCODE - LBWQ (Extraction Queue) and I got the Changed entry but now when i am trigerring the V3 Job, these changes are not getting populated in RSA7 (Delta Queue).
For standard field changes, it is capturing delta properly, the problem is with only customized fileds..Can anyone put some light on this issue ....
Can you pls le me know when will be the Customer Exit(CMOD) is going to hit ? Before the Delta Queue or After the Delta Queue or is it before the Extraction Queue / After the Extraction Queue ???

he customer exit is hit before the entries are populated in extraction queue. Actually, when the transaction is done, the changes are written to database table and at the same time into the extraction queue. Just before going to extraction queue, the custom fields get populated in customer exit.

Missing Features Issue for custom upgraded solutions

I have restored SharePoint 2010 database for migration and upgraded all my custom solutions to SharePoint 2013 using visual studio 2013 and deployed it successfully on SP2013 environment, but when I run
Test-SPContentDatabase command it is giving feature missing as well as Setup file missing errors for all custom upgraded solutions.
Interestingly the SP2010 WSPs that I don't have code for and I want them to run in SP2010 mode works fine and does not appear in missing feature list once deployed to SP2013.
I also have verified that the custom upgraded features and web parts are available for other test application in SharePoint 2013.
can anyone help why the Test-SPContentDatabase is giving Missing Feature error for upgraded custom solutions.

Shopping Cart Search issue for Custom field

Hi,
I added one custom field into Shopping cart basic data tab. And it is also displaying in extended search place.
When i am trying to search the shopping cart using custom field i am not getting any result. But if i gave any Time Frame then it's picking up.
What is the reason it's not picking up without any condition.

Unicode issue for keyword SEARCH

Hi All...
In a report keyword SEARCH is used to find entry in internal table. basically this will find any value in internal table and will return sy-tabix as line number where the value exists.
Syntax:     SEARCH itab FOR seek.
where itab is internal table and seek is variable which can contain any value to be searched in itab.
When i set 'Unicode check active' attribute in program attribute, while activating program i am getting error as: <b>Table "KEN3" must have a character line type (data type C, N, D, T, or STRING).</b>
When i try to add additons In byte mode and in charecter mode, i am getting incompability errors.
Is there any solution/alternative for this error. I am trying to make my program unicode compliant.

In ECC 6.0, the following INSERT statment give short dumps:
FIELD-SYMBOLS:
<fs_tabname> TYPE ANY."Dynamic table name
DATA: t_bdi_entry TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF bdi_entry,
INSERT (<fs_tabname>) FROM TABLE t_bdi_entry.

Xcode 6.1.1 Custom Class Outlets Missing

Running Xcode Version 6.1.1 (6A2008a)
After creating custom View Controller and TableView Controller classes (Tutorial:Storyboards) I find that although the .m files appear in Build Phases they do not appear in the drop down menu for custom class. If I enter the name manually it correctly opens the .h files when clicking on the right arrow to the right of the custom name.
The standard outlets of View Controller (Search Display Controller & View), do not appear in the connections inspector of the custom class.
A test IBAction method does not appear as an option when connecting a Bar Button Item to the Exit object of the Custom View Controller.
Searching the internet for a solution I can find lots of similar stories with random work arounds, none of which have worked for me. However, most of these have been for previous versions of Xcode and one user reported that upgrading to 6.1 solved the problem.
I have redone this a few time to ensure that it isn't finger trouble and I do have a number of years of cocoa/Xcode experience, I'm just getting used to storyboards.
I have tried:
Clean project / Delete Derived Data / Relaunch Xcode
Delete references to .h & .m files of custom classes and then added them back in.
Is there any way of 'forcing' Xcode to recheck for Outlets and Actions in custom classes?

To find out where th problem is, either Xcode or something in your environment, you should try to run Xcode as a different user.
The guest account is ideal for this as your are sure you will get a clean environment. You could also make a new user account and try running from there. If Xcode starts then the problem is something in your original user environment. If Xcode fails to stsrt with the new account then there is a system wide problem.
BTW is your account an admin account or a regular account?

Issue for Cash Discount

Dear All
I have an issue for Customer Cash Discount. Suppose a customer sales order has been generated for Rs 100. Now in our sales order pricing procedure, we have created a discount of 2%, which would generate a net value of 98 on which sales tax is calculated. Now the Business requirement is that, if with in 4 days the payment is not recvd, we have to reverse the discount granted in the pricing procedure along with the pro rata sales tax on it. We are not booking the discount in the sales order as an expense in FI.
In Standard, system proposes a cash discount, while booking the incoming payment. however, here the tax part has to be considered for a discount, which has not been booked.

I have checked that. But in my case, discount is only for information as a part of SD Princing Procedure. It Does not make any accounting entry and is granted by default to every customer, before I do billing. If the customer does not pay in time, system has to pass a debit memo automatically for the discount amount and the pro rata tax calculations on it.
In Standard Payment terms, the system posts an entry to "Cash Discount" expense account in case the payment is recvd in time of four days.

I got a problem with getSchema().
When I trie to get schema from out-of-box classes, it's allright, but when I do this for custom class, I get a exception :
javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: xxxPerson; remaining name 'uid=john.doo.XXX.fr,ou=XXX,dc=XXX,o=XXX,c=fr'
However, this classe it's correctly defined.
Someone has or had the same stuff ?

Custom Classes

I'm running into issues calling custom classes in an activeSync workflow (or any workflow)... I've added it on the application server under $deploymentlocation$/WEB-INF/classes...

Before putting the code in claseses folder make sure the code is working fine using main method in eclipse/ netbean whatever suits.
If there is any misconception in code, the same error comes.

Java custom class reference xsd file

I have an java app that fails when loaded into Oracle(it works when not in Oracle), and the failure is related to the accessing of info in an xsd file...I have tried loading these into XDB and played with permissions etc...What is the easiest way for the java classes to see an *.xsd file...does it even need to be in the DB? Ive looked around quite a bit, but cannot find the applicable documentation. You won't see any file names for custom classes in the Editor (there may be fragments of it in places..but it's hard to describe in this format). Ultimately, you need to know how to Interface your Java Class; Instantiate a Reference of it's type (unless you use static methods..which I like to do a lot with custom common utilities I use)...

Let me know if this was helpful in anyway..
If you don't know how to use your Java Class..ask whomever packaged the code and/or use a Java Decompiler (I use JD-GUI on the Macintosh) to see how to use the Class..
