Unsing comma sep URL Syntax mq://host:port/option1=va,mq://host:port/option

in the [openmq documentation|https://jmsjca.dev.java.net/source/browse/*checkout*/jmsjca/jmsjca/unifiedjms/src/userdoc/sun-jms-adapter-readme.html] it is mentioned that u can use such comma seperated configurations for failover. now my question is what is the result if i am using such syntax to configure
To support one or more SJSMQ message server addresses, add a comma and another URL,
e.g. mq://host:port/serviceName?option1=value1&option2=value2, mq://host:port/serviceName?option1=value1&option2=value2 1) consumers
2) producers with this url?
lets say this setup is given:
datacenter 1   ---------------100 km ---------------- datacenter 2
broker1                                                       broker 2
appserver domain 1                             appserver domain 2 (clients configured with both brokers)
producer and consumer for queue1             producer and consumer for queue1 on broker?1) how do the clients decide to which broker connect first?
2) what happens if tcp connection (WAN) breaks between datacenter
3) what happens if it gets up again?
any comments appreciated.
can anyone point me to a documentation that is a bit more comprehensive on this feature?
regards chris

Please read the section in the documentation on client reconnection. That should cover how clients connect and reconnect. If you have any questions after that please let us know:

  • RoboServer URL syntax..? Got it.

    Proper format is:
    http://<server>:8080/robohelp/server?area=<area>&prj=<project name>
    I have searched, but for some reason, i cannot get the URL syntax to properly resolve in the browser when adding another area and project.
    http://servername:8080/robohelp/server  ....this one resolves to the default properly..general area
    i have created a new area called xxxxx
    i have tried
    http://<servername>:port/robohelp/server/<area>/<projectname>
    and it does not work. I have seen the question mark syntax added but that did not work either.

    Are you by chance using a manually created report region, using htmldb_item (or apex_item)?
    If so, then your problem may be what is discussed in the thread at Column value substitution in tabular form element attributes
    and
    Column value substitution in tabular form element attributes

  • Interactive report URL syntax

    Hi
    I'm using Apex 3.1.2, and am fairly new to using Interactive reports. I've found the URL syntax to apply a filter on an IR, and was just wondering if it is possible to apply a sort, or even open a saved report from a URL link? I am well aware that I can work around it (using different pages with a sort pre-applied etc) but was hoping that I could do everything on one page.
    Thanks!
    -Marc

    Hi Marc,
    I just read over the document and it doesn't appear that we can do it via the URL, however you may be able to do this using JS.
    Try this (I did this as a test on the emp table)
    //Send filter request
    var get = new htmldb_Get(null,$v('pFlowId'),'APXWGT',$v('pFlowStepId'));
    get.addParam('f01','EMPNO');
    get.addParam('f01','=');
    get.addParam('f01','7369');
    get.addParam('f01','');
    get.addParam('f01','minutes');
    get.addParam('p_widget_action','FILTER');
    get.addParam('p_widget_action_mod','ADD');
    get.addParam('p_widget_mod','ACTION');
    get.addParam('p_widget_name','worksheet');
    get.addParam('x01',$v('apexir_WORKSHEET_ID'));
    get.addParam('x02',$v('apexir_REPORT_ID'));
    get.addParam('x03','EMPNO');
    var gReturn = get.get();
    //Refresh report request
    var get = new htmldb_Get(null,$v('pFlowId'),'APXWGT',$v('pFlowStepId'));
    get.addParam('p_widget_mod','PULL');
    get.addParam('p_widget_name','worksheet');
    get.addParam('x01',$v('apexir_WORKSHEET_ID'));
    get.addParam('x02',$v('apexir_REPORT_ID'));
    get.addParam('x03','EMPNO');
    var gReturn = get.get();
    //Refresh HTML report
    $s('apexir_WORKSHEET',gReturn);
    I'll try to put a post on my blog about the full solution to this shortly ([http://apex-smb.blogspot.com/])

  • WebEx Named Host and Port Options

    Hello,
    Whats he diffrence between WEBEX NAMED HOST and WEBEX PORT OPTION. And do they requrie any hardware to function with?
    a documetation with explanations will help more.
    Regards,
    Peter.

    Named Host is where you specify which users can host a meeting. Those people are the only ones who can schedule/create meetings but they can transfer the host role to another person after the meeting has started. Ports on the other hand only limit the total meeting participants across all hosts (the host also consumes a port). You can create as many hosts as you need but total attendance at any one time cannot exceed your ports. There are also per-minute options and active host options where only an unnamed percentage of the organization is assumed to be a host and you true-up if real usage exceeds that percentage.
    It's probably best to speak with a Cisco or WebEx AM over the options. Different usage styles lend themselves to different licensing options. Here's a data sheet though:

  • Comma Sep. checkboxes

    Insert form with the comma sep. checkboxes works great...

    I'm running into another problem. Your solution for displaying the locations with spaces works great when querying a single record.
    However, when I use in a repeat region, all records show the location of the first record. This problem is only present in a repeat region.
    For the repeat region, I choose a recordset called feeds to repeat. Repeating elements inside are displayed as .
    Now, $locations is in that recordet but $locations_with_spaces is not.
    Is there a way to get $locations_with_spaces to repeat properly?

  • Admin api - correct url syntax to getUsers for an event instance.

    I'm trying to use the admin api to call the function getUsers() and I'm not sure of the correct URL syntax. I want to return the number of users currently connected to an event instance. Could someone provide an example of what the URL connection string would look like?
    I tried the following syntax
    http://localhost:1111/admin/getUsers?auser=USER&apswd=PASSWORD&appInst=livepkgr/_definst_/ myEvent

    <level>status</level>
    <code>NetConnection.Call.Success</code>
    <timestamp>10/26/2012 8:12:51 AM</timestamp>

                <Allow>ping,getUsers,getUserStats,getServerStats</Allow>
                <Deny></Deny>
                <Order>Deny,Allow</Order>
    </HTTPCommands>

    I found the problem. I wasn't putting quotes around the application/instance name value.
    http://localhost:1111/admin/getUsers?auser=USER&apswd=PASSWORD&appInst ="livepkgr/_definst_""
    Did the trick. Question though will this identify the number of client connections over http in addition to rtmp?

  • Comm Express URL problem

    Posting here again for lack of Communications Express Forum.
    I installed Messaging Server JES 2004Q2 in server A.
    I installed Communications Express JES 2004Q2 in server B.
    I access http://serverB/uwc and can login ok, but in my browser I see
    that the URL changed to http://serverA/es/mail.html?lang=es&laurel=on&cal=1
    so all further links point to Server A instead of server B. This seems to be ok when I navigate in the mail TAB but if I try to access the Calendar TAB or address book TAB I get a page not found because the url is not pointing to Server B where the UWC application is.
    I have triple checked uwcauth.properties, uwcconfig.properties and

    If I change the URL to server B manually in the browser I do get access to the application.

  • Login problem with E-Recruiting URL, where check host name?

    Hi,
    I've set up a standard Recruiter user and assigned him the standard Recruiter security profile. When I run RCF_GENERATE_URLS, I get this URL:
    http://iwdfvm2160.wdf.sap.corp:51080/sap/bc/bsp/sap/hrrcf_start_int?sap-client=200&sap-language=EN&rcfSpId=0003
    But I get an "internal error" when I login with my User. Our server's host name is iwdfvm2160.gcsap.com, but the program isn't resolving this. This is probably the cause of the error, but how can I get it to pick up our host name?
    We are on E-Recruiting version 6, and it's running on the same box as HCM.
    Thanks, Vlad

    Hello Vlad,
    usually the links generated from the report are correct. Only very rare problem might be in the network structure of your company that the internal dns servers can't resolve the server name or the sap servers are in a not reachable network segmant as you never worked with http access to the servers for other applicatiohns.
    But if you log on the first time with your user and have not been working with the application yet, the more probable reason for this error is the missing candidate for e-recruiting. Without a candidate you won't be able to work with the application.
    Check transaction SLG1. There should be an error "No candidate for User <your username>" or sth. similar.
    If so run report RCF_CREATE_USER to get a candidate. Then you should be able to log on.
    If you already have a candidate and cannot login check SLG1 and SM21 for error messages. If there are any but you don't feel able to solve the logged problem. Just post the message here. I think someone will be able to help.
    Best Regards

  • ACE class-map match url syntax

    Can someone help me with the string that would match a url with no path specified?  For instance; user types "https://outlook.domain.net" into their browser and I want the ACE to redirect that request to https://outlook.domain.net/owa".
      2 match http url oulook\.domain\.net\

    Adam and Shday,
    I'll give you a hand on this =)
    Adam we can solve your problem only if you're doing SSL offloading on the ACE as the layer 5 information that needs to be checked is being sent encrypted.
    In case SSL termination is configured then the configuration would be like this:
    rserver redirect OWA
      webhost-redirection https://%h/owa 301
      inservice
    serverfarm redirect OWA
      rserver OWA
        inservice
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any OWA
    2 match http header Host header-value "outlook.domain.net"
    policy-map type loadbalance first-match OWA
    class OWA
      serverfarm OWA
    class class-default
      serverfarm Backend
    Shday yours is pretty much the same but you need to decide if class-default needs
    to be in place:
    rserver redirect Domain
    webhost-redirection http://%h/any_path 301
    inservice
    serverfarm redirect Domain
       rserver Domain
         inservice
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any Any
    2 match http url /.*
    class-map type http loadbalance match-any Domain
    2 match http header Host header-value "domain.com"
    policy-map type loadbalance first-match Domain
    class Any
      serverfarm Backend
    class Domain
      serverfarm Domain

  • URL syntax for a CSS

    We have a 11503 acting as a reverse proxy and I am having some issues matching a url. The url we want to match is "/bc/gui/sap/its/zhrits_". I have tried various combinations but cannot get a url ending in _ to work. Is _ a valid ending character on the CSS? All my other urls work except for the 2 which end in _.
    content zhrits
    balance url
    vip address x.x.x.x
    add service hr3hrt00
    protocol tcp
    port 80
    url "/bc/gui/sap/its/zhrits_/*"
    active

    I am using 8.20.
    Here is what is happening with this testing. What I did was suspend all rules accept for this rule. When I tried to connect, I got connection failed in browser even though the rule showed active. Now if I turn on another rule(this could be any rule), I get the error message "Connection Interrupted". So it looks like the rule isn't even listening for the incoming request. When I have another rule active, it tries to match to that which causes the "Connection Interrupted". I also do not have the catch all rule (/*) in place yet since I wanted to test the url matching first.
