Updating an Xcontol's appearance in a VI during edits
I'm writing my first Xcontrol and am confused about it's appearance in the VI in which it's used. I dropped the Xcontrol on my VIs front panel. Then I made some changes to the Xcontrol's Facade. I would have thought that after making that change that the appearance of the Xcontrol would have changed to match the changes I made in the Facade ctl (I think I applied all the changes properly). Then when that didn't work I tried to delete the Xcontrol from my VI and LabVIEW crashed. That's happened a couple of times. Finally I was able to delete the Xcontrol and drop an updated version of it on my VI. What did I do wrong?

I've found the same behaviour. It is legal to unlock the XControl while VIs using it are loaded, make changes, and then "Apply Changes to Instances" - but cosmetic changes don't seem to always get propagated. I found that I had to select the XControl on the host VI and replace it with itself (i.e. Right Click - "Replace" - "Select a Control ..." and browse to the *.xctl file) for the changes to show up.

Sounds like your phone was hacked to use with your carrier. Updating it has relocked the phone to it's original carrier. You will not get the phone working again without a SIM from the original carrier.

Go to iTunes, click on Apps in the left window, to bring up your app library. Then click on "check for updates" in the right window, bottom corner. If there are any updates available, you'll be notified of the number and you'll have to choose the apps you want to update in the next screen shown, or update them all at once after filling in your password.
You can also click on one app in the library and choose "get info" to see the actual version saved in your library. -
Update available dialog box appears behind app window
We have an app that checks for an update each time it launches. This has worked quite well until our latest rev, which included an upgrade to Flash Builder 4.0, the 4.0 sdk, and the AIR 2.0 overlay.
Now the update dialog box appears behind our application window, which means our users are not going to see it.
Has anyone else seen this problem?
Our code looks something like this:

Do I need to try to control the order of the windows? Never had to do that before? Or perhaps "delay" the initialization of the appUpdater() by calling it later in the startup process.

Kevin S.Yes, thanks. That's what I did to solve the problem. I inserted a timer and delayed the call to check for updates for .25 of a second, and now the Update Available dialog is appearing on top of the application window.

I've tried to update my ipad 2 with IOs 6 but it was not possible. An error message always appear after some time during e download. Is there an solution?

Reboot the device and see if the error happens again. Updating through iTunes is usually optimal, but the file size differs via Software Update on the device and iTunes (50MB vs ~800MB)

3.x Update rules does not appear in std 0IC_C03 business content

When trying to install business content update rules for the cube 0IC_C03 (DATA FLOW BEFORE), the three update rules are not appearing in the screen for installation.
Instead , I'm getting three Transformations !! But I need 3.x Update rules only.
Note : The data source used are of type 3.x ONLY.Hi,
When you Create the update rules manually by default Keyfigures will be set to no-update. You have to propose the rules as you want and it depends on the requirement. And for 0IC_C03 Inventory Cube, almost all the Kfigs are updated based on Routines.
So it is better to Install from BI Content.
Replicate your Datasources. Then Install Transfer rules,and then Install update rules.

Is there any sort of error message on the payment details screen on your account ? If not then if you enter your card's security code does that trigger an error message ?

when I download software updates why do they appear on the desktop (and in devices) and not get saved to the HD (I click install to HD but they don't go there)
Double-click the white Adobe Reader Icon to open a new windows.
Double-Click the "Adobe Reader X Installer.pkg" file inside.
If it has already been installed it will notify you and say that it has been installed already.
If you no longer have those files go here to get the latest version of Adobe Reader.

It sounds to me from researching the other white 'icon' you have that you are trying to install a copier by the brand of Rico Aficio.
Possibly the Aficio 2090/2105.
If so the install CD/Driver download for that copier must have also wanted you to install Adobe Reader to view the User Guides/ Documentation included.
If you are trying to install said device then double click the white icon labeled Ricoh_Aficio...double click the installer file inside of that.
It should run a setup/install window like Adobe Reader did then go from there. If it has already been install also you can go to your System Preferences -> Printers to see if it installed correctly and is working properly.
You can get to system preferences by clicking the Apple icon very upper left on your screen and selecting it from the drop down.
