Upgrade from LV2010 to LV2011 causes USB Error-1172

Hello NI world,
I'm a newbie to LabVIEW, and hope I might find some info on my issue.
I have a VI that takes a sequence of binary digits, creates an array, and sends the sequence out on USB. This works in LV2010. Last night I upgraded to LV2011, and the system reports an error: "Error 1172 occurred at Error creating instance of Form1 in assembly..." (see attached document for complete error message, and a piece of the flow.) I thought it might be due to obsolete .NET software, so I updated .NET to v4, with no change in behavior.
I adopted this code from another engineer, who is now off on new adventures. Now that I've mucked with it in LV2011, I can't open it in LV2010.
It appears the files in question are 'usbGenericHidCommunications.dll' and 'WFF Generic HID Demo 3.dll'
My Setup: PC, Windows-XP (SP3), LV2010 and now LV2011, .NET Framework 3.5 and 4
Any suggestions are welcome.

to be able to use .net 4 you should add a special file to the labview.exe folder.
Maybe that one is not in place
it is called LabVIEW.exe.config
and the contents is below this line

Upgraded from iMac to MBP - now USB & Firewire hubs don't work

I've just upgraded from a 2008 C2D 20" iMac to a new 2011 13" MBP i5. I'm running Pro Tools 8LE via a Digi 003 rack & have a Command8 plus other USB/FW400 devices in my set up. I've always used both a USB hub & a FW400 hub to connect everything to the iMac (daisy chaining causes some instability issues / track restriction in Pro Tools).
Now however, the MBP doesn't see any devices connected via the hubs. If I connect directly & daisy chain the devices, they work. I have the USB hub connected to the MBP with a FW800-FW400 cable.
Any idea what's causing this? Here's links to both hubs... they have been working fine with this setup for 3 years:

I had the same problem with my desktop Mac, and resolved the hub situation by following two suggestions: (1) daisy-chaining the devices (which you're already doing) and (2) reset the hub. For the latter, pull out your devices/hubs, reboot your MBP, and put the devices/hub in. This resets the hubs so you can use them again.
It also might help if you make sure you've plugged in the wall outlet; this increases the power available to your devices.
I'd be very interested if these fixes work.

Upgrading from CS6 to CC causes the extention .prproj to become corrupted.

After upgrading from CS6 to CC, by installing CC then uninstalling CS6: In Windows 7 "prproj" became associated (i.e., "open with") with Acrobat (?) and will not re-associate with Premiere CC. Using the windows procedure to change the "OPEN WITH" target yields no effect whatsoever --nothing gets changed and it Acrobat still tries to open it. If I had to guess, this appears to be a registry-writing bug wherein one of the versions somehow corrupted the registry, rendering it useless to Premiere CC.
Premiere crashes often enough (at least once every day or so) to make it necessary to go into the backups and retrieve the last auto save. It is harder to do this without a working link.
I already have the latest CC installed so the questions are: Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround??

Some more information:
Premiere does not appear on the default "Open with" list for .prproj --only Acrobat Pro (which is not a CC install if that makes any difference). Choosing another application via browse is ignored.
In order to rule out actual Windows as the problem, I tested, and was successfully able to re-associate other extensions (to other applications) using "Open with". The only extension not responding is .prproj. This suggests either a premiere problem in specific, or an Adobe problem in general since the association for .prproj is stuck on Acrobat.

Upgrading from 35 to 36 caused secure connection failed errors

We have a couple of different applications that our customers suddenly are having issues with on a pair of load balanced web servers after they upgrade to version 36 of Firefox. It worked fine in 35 and still works in Chrome and IE. The error only happens on certain pages within the sites. The exact error is this:
Secure Connection Failed
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
The exact same apps work fine on other servers with version 36, so I’m guessing it is some kind of a certificate/cipher issue with the server or load balancer. I have searched for this message and see others have similar issues when attempting to upload files but the pages failing don't have any file uploads on them.
Any suggestions on what to look at?

We changed the max parse length parameter to 65535 in our Cisco ACE20-MOD-K9 load balancer and this solved the issue:

Upgraded from Win7 to Win8 and getting errors. Any way of going back? U410

Hey guys,
I just recieved my Ideapad U410 today and I was so psyched! I'm going to a seminar tomorrow, and since this is my only laptop, I really want it to work, so I can use it tomorrow.
Anyway. I figured that I might aswell just upgrade to Windows 8 right away, so after using the computer for maybe half an hour, I pay for Windows 8, and just do the install through the Windows 8 offer.
Windows 8 gets installed, and now I just keep getting errors. First of all, the Energy Management program didn't work and kept popping up everytime I restarted the computer. I downloaded a new driver for it, which seemed to fix it.
At the same time, a pop-up from Dolby Home Theater keeps popping up, telling me to install a valid driver. I've tried installing one, but either I didn't find the right one, or it just didn't work.
Then my WiFi starts going mental! After restarting the computer, it doesn't connect to the WiFi. It just sits there until I right click it to go into "Open Network and Sharing Center", and then it just hangs until I try to close the window. More hanging...... then the window closes and boom! I have WiFi!
The WiFi also started getting slow. Now I have read about the WiFi issues, but my computer was manufactured on 8/25/12, so there shouldn't be any! ....right???
I'm now thinking of doing a clean install of Windows 7 to get it to work, but I'm hopelessely confused about how it works now that there's an SSD drive in it too. I'm used to just being on an old desktop with ONE harddrive, not all this fancy new stuff
So......... basically what I'm asking is:
- Is there a way to get my Windows 8 to work? Fixing the WiFi "hanging" and the Dolby Home Theater error?
- Am I safe from the WiFi issues since my computer was manfufactured on 8/25/12?
- Is there a guide that can show me how to do a clean Windows 7 install? Or maybe even get it back to how it was when I first recieved it?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated, guys! Thanks in advance!!

As to apps disappearing, it's not uncommon for apps to be removed from the app store. I have a couple of games that I play that are no longer available.
Did you install 8 'over the air'? If so, research into doing a restore. Use a computer to back up your device and then reinstall iOS8 via a computer, and then restore your data from the backup. Sometimes a clean install clears away glitches caused by over the air installs.

Upgrade from R12 DB 10g to 11g Errors

Dear All,
I'm in the process of upgrading EBS R12 db from 10g to 11g. during the upgrade I encountered the below warnings/errors
1- ORA-01408: such column list already indexed: can I ignore this since the table is already indexed?
2- ORA-01503: CREATE CONTROLFILE failed
ORA-01166: file number 288 is larger than MAXDATAFILES (100)
ORA-01110: data file 288: '$ORACLE_HOME/apps_st/data/PROD/system10.dbf'
I have looking the directory $ORACLE_HOME/apps_st/data/PROD/ and system10.dbf is there. does this mean the error can be ignored and the DB can operate normally?
how can I avoid the above errors in the future

In which step are you getting the warnings/errors ?
You cannot ignore the second error - it has to be fixed - pl see MOS Doc 18739.1 (OERR: ORA 1166 file number is larger than)

PT 8.52 upgrade from PT 8.49 , java script error :'CKEDITOR' is undefined

We have upgraded PT8.52 from 8.49. For certain componets of HRMS 9.0 i get Javascript error:'ckeditor is not defined' , PT_AJAX_NET_1.js, line 913, char 34. Peoplesoft page just got hung up.Navigation : Set up HRMS – Foundation Tables – Job Attributes – Job Code Table – Evaluation Criteria/Market Pay Match/Default Compensation/Non Base Compensation/Union Safety. Also i get same error in other components like Peopletools-Security-User Profile-Roles-Permission List....Job, Location, BUs works fine.
We use IIS 7.5 as proxy server. Without proxy server there is no error.

I changed the parameter name in the java to upper case and it fixed the problem.

UPGRADING from TIGER to LEOPARD causes audio plug ins scan WAVES PROBLEMS

I have upgraded my G5 from Tiger to Leopard and am now running 10.5.8. I am using LOGIC PRO 8 and have upgraded that to 8.0.2. When i open LOGIC PRO and it starts to scan the audio plug ins-it causes a problem that sends me to PACE-the Interlok site for my WAVES-it says this:

Just an update of the issue.
I've read somewhere that i need to reload the OS 5. So i did this and found out that that step actually wiped clean all settings and data. Thank God i backed up the phone a couple of days before. After restoring data, the phone worked well through out the whole day.
Before goinf to sleep that night, i connected the pohone to the charger and switched on my night mode and went to bed. In the morning, i get this white screen saying "JVM error 102" and a reset option. I did the reset, and it went back to the white screen. I did a battery pull, it went back to the white screen. everything i did went back to white screen.
I had to downgrade back to OS 4.6 and restore my data again. now the phone's working fine.
I love the feel of OS 5 and would still like to use it, but it makes my phone go wonky. Is there any updates or patch for it? Looks like i would have to wait before upgrading my device software. Anyone here can answer??

Windows 2003 SP1 32bits / MSSQL 2000 SP4.
During the XPRAS_UPG phase, i have an error in the post-import method RS_SHIP_AFTER_IMPORT for the transport SAPK700ZH1.
The log is the RDDEXECL job log:
Job started
Step 001 started (program RDDEXECL, variant , user ID DDIC)
All DB buffers of application server xxx were synchronized
Incorrect input for activating transported shadow IPacks
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

Will upgrading from Panther to Tiger cause problems with Fink?

I've just spent quite a bit of time setting up mysql via Fink on Panther.
I'm considering moving to Tiger, but it would be really annoying to have to do it all again.
Are there likely to be problems with Fink packages installed under Panther?

Upgrade from 2.6.34 fails. No devices recognized.

I should have posted this over a month ago, but I've been in the process of moving. I frequently run powerpill -Syu to keep up to date, and debug issues as the come up, but the upgrade from 2.6.34 caused so many issues that I've been unable to attempt to resolve until now.
Here's what I did.
pacman -Syu
Here's what happened:
boot into upgraded kernel and USB drivers are not found, so I can't use the keyboard or mouse. During boot, eth0 is not found (there's an error message to this effect), can't start ssh.
so basically the computer is unusable. It seems that none of the drivers are found, but I can't test because I have no way to input into the system.
To resolve I booted in using system rescue cd and rolled back the kernel upgrade.
My system:
Atom 330 ION
RAID0
Stock kernel
Where should I start to fix this? I'll run the upgrade again and post the error output in a few hours when I finish work. But if somebody has some ideas beforehand I'd like to try that before crippling my computer.

So I went to a backup kernel and tried to rebuild the initrd:

Note also that I'm getting a lot of these messages during the boot process, no matter what kernel I choose:
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.15.4-ARCH/modules.dep: No such file or directory
Any ideas on this one? I'm stuck! Thank you!

Can I upgrade from the $10/month plan to the full plan at the $30 discounted rate?

According to the stipulations, it appears I qualify, but then asks that I contact customer service, which in turn recommends asking the community first. I am interested in the Cloud price for exiting users at $30/month. Since I do everything as a hobby, I cannot justify $50/month for software.

HI, why don't you try to shutdown your 903, if you have something like Portal or related to the repository you may need to perform an upgrade, but if your repository is not really important try to shutdown the 903, and install the 10.1.2, that's much better have a clean new installation than an upgrade from an 903, this type of errors that you are getting are really hard to track.
If you have to make the upgrade, there are notes about doing this for Portal, that might help you.

The hard drive has been upgraded, it has a new logicboard (with 128mb RAM), new housing, battery, hold / headphone jack. Basically the only original parts are the bezel, click wheel, screen, and data ribbons. Have attempted the 3Rs and have also tried to isolate potentially corrupt audio files and remove them, but this did not seem to be the primary cause. The sync failure consistently happens at just under a 1000 songs (5.4gb) and then it starts to error (-69) any song after that. Your advise would be enthusiastically received.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

Error during upgrade from OBIEE 10G to 11G

I ran into this issue while trying to upgrade my 10g RPD and catalog to 11.1.1.7
After installing 11G, I launched the upgrade utility from Oracle_Common/bin/ua in linux.
I am getting the below error:
UPGAST-00797: Oracle Fusion Middleware Upgrade Assistant cannot be run from an Application Developer Oracle home.
Based on the Oracle Doc. it has the following desc:

So what should I do to resolve this issue?

First of all i am not familiar on linux box.
I tried in windows environment the rpd is deployed with out any errors.
But i ran the ua.bat file in the following path
\MWHOME\Oracle_BI1\bin\ua.bat.
while i am running in oracle_common\bin\ua.bat is not responding in my local system.
