Hi Bharathi,
You can find my code below. I can upload file to R/3.
for (int k = 0; k <wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeRequisitionsTable().size(); k++)
IPublicNewPurchaseReqCust.IRequisitionsTableElement tn =wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeRequisitionsTable().getRequisitionsTableElementAt(k);
IPublicNewPurchaseReqCust.IFileUploadElement tableelement =wdThis.wdGetContext().nodeFileUpload().getFileUploadElementAt(k);
if(purgrptbl.getPurchaseGroup().equals(tableelement.getPurGroup()))
if (!(tn.getGr_Ind()))
if(tableelement.getFileSource()!=null)
IWDResource resource = tableelement.getFileSource();
Zbapi_Pr_Create_Attachment_Input inputattach = new Zbapi_Pr_Create_Attachment_Input();
wdContext.nodeZbapi_Pr_Create_Attachment_Input().bind(inputattach);
inputattach.setBanfn(wdContext.currentOutput_PRCreateElement().getNumber());
//file inputstream basla
Soli objhead1 = new Soli();
objhead1.setLine("&SO_FILENAME="+resource.getResourceName());
inputattach.addObjhead(objhead1);
Soli objhead2 = new Soli();
objhead2.setLine("&SO_FORMAT=BIN");
inputattach.addObjhead(objhead2);
final int chunkSize = 255;
final byte[] chunk = new byte[chunkSize];
try
final BufferedInputStream in
= new BufferedInputStream(tableelement.getFileSource().read(false));
int size = this.getFileSize2(resource);
while((size=in.read(chunk, 0, chunkSize))> 0)
// If last chunk is partial, pad rest with zeros
if ( size < chunkSize )
Arrays.fill( chunk, size, chunkSize, (byte) 0);
//create new list object
final Solix objbin = new Solix();
//write the byte array into the list
objbin.setLine(chunk);
//add list to input node for RFC
inputattach.addObjcont_Bin(objbin);
in.close();
catch (IOException e2)
e2.printStackTrace();
//file inputstream end
Sood1 headchange = new Sood1();
headchange.setObjla("TR");
headchange.setObjnam("Bildirim2");
int strleng=resource.getResourceName().length();
String Filename=resource.getResourceName().substring(0,strleng-4);
headchange.setObjdes(Filename);
headchange.setFile_Ext(resource.getResourceType().getFileExtension());
headchange.setObjlen(Integer.toString(this.getFileSize2(resource)));
inputattach.setObject_Hd_Change(headchange);
try
inputattach.execute();
} // END TRY
catch (WDDynamicRFCExecuteException ce)
IWDMessageManager manager = wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager();
manager.reportException(ce.getMessage(), false);

Regards,
Gurprit Bhatia
Edited by: GURPRIT BHATIA on Jun 5, 2008 2:49 PMHello Gurprit,
the files are actually loaded into the server's memory. Please refer to the following document:
[Uploading and Downloading Files in Web Dynpro Java|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/b0e10426-77ca-2910-7eb5-d7d8982cb83f]
If you want to store the contents to a file you would have to write custom java code for that. For a clustered environment I would suggest to store the data in a database instead.
Kind regards

Read a property file and store it in a hashmap
Hi,
I have tried to read a property file and store it in a hashmap. The property-names should be stored in keys and the property-values (after = symbol) in values of the hashmap. any ideas? Is it possible to do this?mandy2001ir wrote:
yes, but I need the hashmap for another reason. Actually I'm trying to use the properties file to have a dynamic hachmap. I don't want to change the code anytime I want to put a value in the hashmap. therefor I write the "keys" and "values" in a property file and change the property file. That's the reasn why we have property files, isn't it?What's a "dynamic hashmap"? There's no other kind! Whenever someone starts bandying around the word "dynamic" in contexts like this, it usually means there's a simple solution to their problem, that they haven't yet considered, or mistakenly don't believe is applicable to them, because of this "unique" need for something "dynamic". Trust me, you just need to load the file using a Properties object, and you're done. Properties extends Hashtable, which is virtually the same thing as a HashMap. Properties does exactly what you want it to. it's the very reason the class exists
Have you even looked at the javadoc for java.util.Properties yet? I'm betting not, because if you had, you'd know exactly what I meant. And since you haven't, I'm at a bit of a loss as to how you can so easily dismiss the class as useless, despite existing to do exactly what you need -
Parse files and store to "timeseries" for ouput to jpg/png?
Hi.
I am trying to parse through some dirs for known files and store the content + name of dir in a "timeseries" (the contents are csv and name of dir is string - hence "timeseries"), for later output to PNG.
The file structure will be:
dir1/filename.csv (together with other files)
dir2/filename.csv (together with other files)
dir3/filename.csv (together with other files)
My idea so far is:
public main {
JFreeChart ... createChart(createDataset);
private static createDataset {
traverse("my dirs and files");
TimeSeries series1 = new TimeSeries(name of dir1, data from file1);
TimeSeries series2 = new TimeSeries(name of dir2, data from file2);
etc....
private static createChart {
private static traverse(File dir) {
this method scans the dirs;
if file = "filename.csv" readFile();
private static readFile(file, path) {
read the data;
}I have come to a stop, because my method/idea would only return timeseries for the first dir/file over and over again.
Maybe I'm doing this awkwardly, but I'm very fresh at java.
Any inspiration would be appreciated.
Cheers,
ChotorThanks for answering.
Maybe I should clearify a bit.
I am already able to read csv files (thanks to opencsv). I can also travese directories looking for the correct file. I can even output timeseries to png thanks to JFreeChart.
The problem is stiching it all togheter, and more precisely passing data between methods.
When creating timeseries within my ceateDataset method, I am calling traverse, which then calls readData. I want these two (dir-name from traverse() and actual data from readData()) to be read into a new timeseries.
Maybe this could be solved differently...
We haven't covered this topic in my course yet. I'm fresh but eager. :) -

How to create a file and store its contents into another file?
Hi,
I'm having some trouble trying to create a code where I have to to create a file and store its contents into another file?
I read the API, but I'm not certain how this file thing works.
Here's my code so far:
public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception
File file = new File("tasks.txt");
if (file.exists())
System.out.println("File already exists");
System.exit(0);
Scanner scan = new Scanner(System.in);
Scanner scan2 = new Scanner(System.in);
//Scans the input line by line
scan.useDelimiter("\\n");
//Scans the input by tabs
scan2.useDelimiter("\\t");
PrintWriter outputs = new PrintWriter("newtasks.txt");
outputs.print("ok");
outputs.println(3);
outputs.close();
}I managed to change my text into uppercase, but how do I store the uppercase content into another file.
-So this is what I did so far, I took a text file and modified its strings to uppercase.
-Now I need to put those modified strings into another text file, is there a way where I can do that with my current code?
-I already tried printwriter, but it doesn't seem to work
public static void main(String[] args)throws IOException
//Task[] oneHundredTasks = new Task[100];
String uppercase;
String combine;
Scanner scan = null;
FileInputStream in = null;
FileOutputStream out = null;
PrintWriter output = null;
try
scan = new Scanner(new BufferedReader(new FileReader("tasks.txt")));
scan.useDelimiter("\\n");
scan.useDelimiter("\\t");
while (scan.hasNext())
if(!scan.hasNext())
scan.next();
combine = scan.next();
uppercase = combine.toUpperCase();
System.out.println(uppercase);
finally
if (scan != null)
scan.close();
//The program will try the input and output files
try
in = new FileInputStream("tasks.txt");
out = new FileOutputStream("newtasks.txt");
int c;
//The number "-1" is used to indicate that it has reached the end of the stream.
while ((c = in.read()) != -1)
out.write(c);
finally
if (in != null)
in.close();
if (out != null)
out.close();

File upload using commons-upload-file and tomcat 5.5
Hi,
This is my first post and I hope that I post it at the right place.
I'm trying to upload a file using commons-upload-file and tomcat 5.5.
Is there a way to prevent submitting a big file, If I detect that the file being uploaded exceed a limit that I have fixed ?
i.e. I check the request length, if it's bigger than 1meg I cancel the whole thing and the big file is not transferred.
The problem that I get at the moment is that it seems that the file is transferred even if I close request inputstream or response outputstream. Any help would be appreciated !
Thank you
RedgyWell here is a snippet of my code:
protected void processRequest(HttpServletRequest request, HttpServletResponse response)
throws ServletException, IOException {
long maxSize = 50000;
boolean isMultipart = ServletFileUpload.isMultipartContent(request);
if(isMultipart){
// Create a new file upload handler
ServletFileUpload upload = new ServletFileUpload();
upload.setSizeMax(maxSize);
try {
upload.parseRequest(request);
} catch (FileUploadException ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
request.getInputStream().close();
response.getWriter().print("blah");
response.sendError(response.SC_INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR);
response.getOutputStream().close();
}If the file is bigger than 50kb, it Throws the FileUploadException.
But whatever I do, It seems that there is still a connection between my browser and tomcat.. any clue ?
thanks
