Upload interactive form and access field values in WD component

Hi Experts,
I want to upload a prefilled  interactive adobe form in my webdynpro component and then I want to read the values filled in the form in my webdynpro component.
I don't want to display the interactive form in the WD component. Just need to read the values.
Please let me know how can I do it.
Warm regards,
Sushant Singh

You can use the fileupload and filedownload uielements.
Check these links:
[File Upload|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/b3/be7941601b1d09e10000000a155106/content.htm]
[File Download|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/09/a5884121a41c09e10000000a155106/content.htm]
When you upload a file and save in SAP, are you saving it as xstring.
If yes follow these steps for filedownload.
Follow these steps for file download:
1 Create FileDownload uielement in your View
2.Create an Attribute of type xstring.
3.Bind this attribute to the data property of your Filedownload uielement.
4. during fileuplaod as you are saving the document in xstring format, fetch the same from your database table and pass the value to filedownload i.e set the attribute bound to data property of filedownload uielement with the xstring content.

  • How can user attach file to interactive form, and be read by abap program?

    Hello,
    I created an abap interactive form, sent to the user, then user fills out the form fields, then it is uploaded back to sap, then my program reads this data and process it.
    It works.
    Now I want users to be able to attach any file they want, and the abap program to extract this file out of the PDF, to put it into SAP (or anywhere).
    I succeeded in attaching a file, I can "see" it via function module get_annotations, but I get the file in compressed form by Adobe (filter="FlateDecode").
    Do you know how to unzip the file, or is there another way to attach files in adobe reader/extract them via abap?
    I use acrobat reader 8.1.2
    Thx a lot!
    sandra
    Below is the xml obtained by GET_ANNOTATIONS. We see that there are other text annotations, and that the attached file has {length="98005"}, though real file (before "attach file" to the PDF, and also after "detach file") has length 111 995 bytes. It's why I deduced that there is a compression (I also tried to extract it as-is and open it with adobe but it doesn't work.

    Hello everybody,
    I am sure you have an answer to my question above. It was :
    how is it possible for a user to ATTACH files to a PDF interactive form, and then be able to READ them via a program ? (I guess the solution to read them via ABAP or JAVA is quite the same?)
    Thx a lot !

  • ABAP WebDynpro, Interactive Form, and Repeating Subforms

    Hi Everyone,
    I have a very simple Interactive Form called from ABAP WebDynpro.
    Main_View Context:
    Node u2013 FORM.
         Cardinality 1..1
         Selection 0..1
         Initialization Lead Selection u2013 X
    Node u2013 SPFLI
         Dictionary Structure - SPFLI
         Cardinality 0..n
         Selection 0..1
         Initialization Lead Selection u2013 X
    Attributes from SPFLI u2013 CARRID and CONNID
    View contains an Interactive Form and a u201CSaveu201D button.
    Form = Z_TABLE_TEST_FORM, Interface = Z_TABLE_TEST_INT u2013 created through forward navigation in Layout so uses XML interface.
    Button u201CSaveu201D has the following code:
    METHOD onactionsave.
      DATA lo_nd_form     TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lo_nd_spfli    TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_node.
      DATA lo_el_spfli    TYPE REF TO if_wd_context_element.
      DATA ls_spfli       TYPE wd_this->element_spfli.
      DATA ls_element_set TYPE wdr_context_element_set.
      lo_nd_form = wd_context->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_form ).
      lo_nd_spfli = lo_nd_form->get_child_node( name = wd_this->wdctx_spfli ).
      ls_element_set = lo_nd_spfli->get_elements(  ).
      IF lo_nd_spfli IS NOT INITIAL.
        lo_el_spfli = lo_nd_spfli->get_element(  ).
        IF lo_el_spfli IS NOT INITIAL.
          lo_el_spfli->get_static_attributes(
            IMPORTING
              static_attributes = ls_spfli ).
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.
    ENDMETHOD.
    On the Interactive Form, u201CPage1u201D is a main page.  u201CTableParentu201D is a SubForm, flowed layout, in accessibility tab set to u201CTableu201D, and is bound to u201C$record.SPFLIu201D.
    u201CDATAu201D is a SubForm under "TableParent", Positioned layout, in accessibility tab set to u201CBody Rowu201D, and is bound to u201CDATA[*]u201D.
    Carrid and Connid are both Text Fields bound to Carrid and Connid, under "DATA".
    I also added the Insert/Remove/Reposition buttons, but deleted the two reposition buttons.
    The idea was to be able to add 4-5 Carrid/Connid pairs.
    When running this, as configured above, then none of the data entered in the form makes it through to the Elements.  If the context is changed to make the Cardinality 1..n, then a single Element is added u2013 but not the remainder.
    What needs to be done to get this to work?
    Many thanks
    Jack

    Hi Reema,
    None.  For all other fields, they are bound to the context, so the transfer is automatic.
    These repeating fields are also bound to the context, but it appears that an element needs to be created for every repeating form.  How can this be done from the form?
    Cheers
    Jack

  • Access field value in ALV

    Hello experts,
    I have created an simple ALV Grid report, in that I have implemented double click event n I want to create a new ALV grid with new data to be displayed. So I want to access field value ie using SLIS_SELFIELD or anything. Could anyone please guide me how can I access a field value using slis though SLIS_SELFIELD has methods like SEL_TAB_FIELD... I wan to access something like SEL_FIELD_VALUE but its not available in the class.
    Thanks in advance...
    Regards,
    Viral Patel

    Hi Viral,
    SLIS_SELFIELD has an attribute named VALUE which holds the value you selected row & TBAINDEX holds the row number.
    Refer below code snippet :-
    FORM user_command
              USING s_ucomm LIKE sy-ucomm
              s_selfield TYPE slis_selfield.                    "#EC CALLED
      CASE s_ucomm.
        WHEN '&IC1'.
          CLEAR wa_podat2.
          READ TABLE itab_podat2 INTO wa_podat2 INDEX s_selfield-tabindex.
          CHECK sy-subrc = 0.
          IF wa_podat2-ebeln = s_selfield-value.
            SET PARAMETER ID 'BES' FIELD wa_podat2-ebeln.
            IF wa_podat2-ebeln IS NOT INITIAL.
              CALL TRANSACTION c_tcode.
            ENDIF.
    For above event to happen, you have to use parameter I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND of  REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY as below :-
    CALL FUNCTION 'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'
        EXPORTING
          i_callback_program      = l_repid
          i_callback_user_command = 'USER_COMMAND'
          it_fieldcat             = itab_fieldcat
          it_events               = itab_events
        TABLES
          t_outtab                = itab_podat2[].

    Can JVM security policy be modified to access field values of "private" field in a Class?

    See http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/onlineTraining/Programming/JDCBook/appA.html#ReflectPermission.
    Note that you will have to use reflection to access the fields once the security policy allows you to supress the access controls.

  • Having trouble having both an interactive form and an interactive page curl in a pdf?

    Okay, so I need an interactive pdf with a page curl AND an interactive form. I exported my Indesign file as a swf file with the interactive page curl, (which the interactive form doesn't work on), then I imported the swf file back into Indesign, opened the media tab and chose the option to 'open file on current page' so that when I open the pdf it doesn't ask me to activate the file before use, and then export as an interactive pdf. the interactive page curl works perfectly, but the form doesn't work. How do I put an Indesign form into my interactive pdf?

    Hi Enrico,
    If I understand correctly, you are calling the addInstance() on click of the button that you placed in your form and when you add more pages using this button and save the fikle and open it again, the newly added instances are not displayed in the form. Am I right?
    If this is the scenario, the you need to store the value of the forms created using this button and call the same addInstance() method in the initialize event of your form. I.e place the same code that is there in click event of the button inside the Initialize event of the form with the number that we have saved in some hidden field.
    Hope this resolves your issue.

  • Adda more pages to an Interactive Form and the binary context

    Hi to all,
    my scenario is: I have a java webdynpro with a view with an interactive form of 2 pages. I inserted a button on the pdf which duplicates the second page (using java script). Then there is the "submit to SAP" button which transfers the content of the binary context (I bound it to the pdfSource attribute of the interactive form) to an R/3 system. The fact is that when then I read the "binary" file from R/3, I find only the 2 pages and not the pages I added with my button.
    How can I do? It's important for me the possibility of having more second pages.
    Sorry for my english,
    Thanks in advance
    Enrico

  • Upload Interactive form  into WDA without User action

    I need a pdf form to get loaded when WDA starts.
    At start WDA will read URL of pdf form from Z table and upload the form.
    After the form appears on the screen - the user will update some fields on the form.
    WDA will read form datasource and update Z table. Then WDA will send the form back to the same URL.
    Initially the form is created in another Webdynpro. The form is Interactive ZCI layout with XML based interface.
    Any code examples will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    Tatyana

  • Several content types and default field value

    Hi!
    I have a document library with several custom content types (derived from standard Document type). One of them (CT1) has field with default value. Other content types must not contain this field. And when I upload document, this field has no default value.
    If I make CT1 first (and default) content type in a library, default value appears. Also it works when I add the field to the first content type. But in my solution CT1 must not be the first content type in a library and the field must have default value (and
    other content types must not have this field). Does anybody know how to make it?

    I understood why default value does not work. When we upload document to a library and then see a form with fields, it's not a newform, it's edit form. So when we upload a document, it gets first (default) content type of the library, only default fields
    from this content type are filled. The solution here to fill default fields from other content types is to write itemadded event receiver.

  • Adobe Interactive Form and Web Dynpro

    Hi experts,
    I'm working with an standard Adobe Interactive Form (ISR_MSSRCF_SRQ3) which has a button (selectPosition) that is used to call a Web Dynpro (HRRCF_C_POSITION). This Web Dynpro is used to fill some forms fields (org. unit and position) as a search help. I don't know the way the Web Dynpro fills these fields, I don't find a context binding or so. Could you help to find the way these fields are linked to the Wed Dynpro? How does the Wed Dynpro fill these fields?
    For this button, events in script command window are:
    =>Mouse down.
    //Set ISR_EVENT for BAdI processing in backend
    $record.CONTROL_PARAM.ISR_EVENT = "USER_EVENT_POPUP"
    $record.HRASR_FORM_WINDOW.DATA[*].FIELD.value = "HRRCF_C_POSITION"
    =>Click.
    //Trigger call to backend for BAdI user command processing
    ContainerFoundation_JS.SendMessageToContainer(event.target, "submit", "", "", "", "");
    =>Ready.
    //Toggle visibility to be visible during edit operations, ínvisible otherwise
    if($record.CONTROL_PARAM.ISR_MODE == "DISPLAY" |
         $record.CONTROL_PARAM.ISR_FORM_VIEW =="ISR_APPROVE" )
    then
         this.presence = "invisible"
    else
         this.presence = "visible"
    endif
    Any idea???
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    In se80 - select the WD application HRRCF_C_POSITION.
    COMPONENTCONTROLLER -> method CALL_POPUP . Put a degug point and analyze.
    Kind Regards
    Mukesh
