Uppercase/Lowercase Text to be printed in SAPScript. Space Problem.
Hi All,
I have developed a Script for PO Display. I am writing the PO Lineitem text EKPO-IDNLF which will be maximum 40 chars in length. I have allocated some 20 characters place for the same and it is being printed in 2 lines.
If the text is entered in small alphabets it is occupying less place and if the same is written in Capital letters it is occupying more place. i.e, the amount of place that is being occupied by this variable is dependent on the case in which it is entered.
1. Is there any possibility to know if the text is entered in capital letters or small.
2. Is there any possibility to know how many characters are entered in capital letters and how many in small letters.

1. I don't think this kind
of JUSTIFIED (alignment)
can be done field wise.
2. There is no point in this kind of requirement.
3. either it will show like this

Itunes uppercase/lowercase error
I want to report an error in Itunes.
when one is entering information manually , in a field, (example: multiple item information window: fields composing, grouping,etc).
itunes then displays their predictive text displaying all the recognized characters.
as example, if the text to capure were: xxWashington, and Itunes precaptued text were XXWASH, then the itunes result is
XXWASHington which is not "xxWashington", and Itunes does not allow the user to correct it to "xxWwashington".
That means that is: if a predictive text were found, I Tunes does not allow the user to enter their information in lowercase/uppercase, because I tunes alter the manually entered characters to the predictive uppercase/lowercase text found automatically.
so, Itunes does not tolerate the order of the uppercase/lowercase characters entered manually.
I hope you can correct this bug.

You can go to his link, but if problem still happens then follow link to apple support and follow the step by step procedure for removing all apple problems. This fixed my problem. But, follow each step.

REGION is not shown in Address to be printed in SAPSCRIPT

I am trying to print the address within a sapscript .Everything is being displayed except the 'regio' ie region field. but when i replace the label region with city or something else followed by the field name it prints fine.

Parameters
DELIVERY
Means that the address should be formatted as a complete delivery address, using the street name and number rather than the P.O. Box.
TYPE
Specifies the type of address. The following types are possible:
1. Normal address (ADRS1). This is the address of a company or organization. It corresponds to the address structure that is expected in most SAP applications.
2. Private or personal address (ADRS2). This is the address of a natural person, a private or home address.
3. Company addressDienstadresse (ADRS3) with contact person. This is the address of a colleague or contact within a company or organization. The company name should be specified in the TITLE and NAME fields; the ATTN: contact person should be named in PERSON and TITLE.
Should you enter another address type or leave the field blank, then type 1 is used for formatting.
PARAGRAPH
Specifies the paragraph format to be used for outputting the address. If this parameter is not given, the address will be output using the default paragraph format.
PRIORITY
Specifies which of the address lines may be omitted should this be necessary. Any combination of the following codes may be specified. The order in which you list the codes determines the order in which address lines are left out.

Usually, the system prints the city and country names of foreign addresses in uppercase ( NO_UPPERCASE_FOR_CITY ).
You can use this parameter to force the system to output city and country name unchanged (uppercase/lowercase).

This allows an administrative region, county, province, or state etc. to be specified.
COUNTRY
Specifies the recipient country, i.e. the country according to whose postal conventions the address is to be formatted.
COUNTRY_IN_REC_LANG

( Default: Recipient language is not used: COUNTRY_IN_REC_LANG )
LANG_FOR_COUNTRY
Default = Space
Use this parameter to explicitly set the language in which to print the country name of a foreign address. By default, the system uses the language of the sending country.
LANGUAGE
Language code of the language of the recipient country, if it differs from that of the recipient COUNTRY. Example: addresses in Switzerland. Standard SAP language codes are used; you can display these in the initial SAPscript text processing screen or in table T002.
FROMCOUNTRY
Specifies the language to be used for formatting the name of the recipient country. For most European countries, the recipient country is specified by placing the international car registration letters in front of the post code and separating them from the post code with a hyphen. You must always specify the sender country.
ADDRESSNUMBER
The number is used to index a central address file, from which the desired address is read instead of using the set of the above fields. You can find more information on this facility in the documentation for the function module ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM.
You use this one parameter instead of the set of parameters described before.

SAPscript makes an internal call to the ADDRESS_INTO_PRINTFORM function module for formatting the address. If the result is not as expected, you should check the settings for this function module (see the function module documentation). -
Image not printed in SapScript, only after page break
Hi,
I have a problem in printing an image (stored as text) in a sapscript. The image was uploaded correctly from a TIF file in tcode SE78. The image contains a signature and I need to print it at variable positions within the form. That is I need to print it in the MAIN window. The image does not get printed when a page break occurs when outputing the text element containing the picture. If the page break occurs when outputing any (other) text, the image is printed correctly (after that text).
Has anybody else encountered this problem? Could it be a sapscript bug?

Problem with SAPscript
I have A problem with PO pronting form. In the PO craetion(me23n), IF we mention certain text in last line item the PO printing form is behaving uncertanly.
If the text limit to a particular line is mentioned , then PO printing in only first Page and otherpage is not printing where further data is supposed to print.
If we exceed the limt , its again printing correctly in 2 pages with all the data. If we decrese the limit aslo printing fine.
My problem is , I could not understand exactly where the problem is coming. while debugging Befor the text apperas in form I have an inlcue like this form.
INCLUDE &T166P-TXNAM& OBJECT &T166P-TDOBJECT& ID &T166P-TDID& LANGUAGE &EKKO-SPRAS& PARAGRAPH IX.
IS the prob exist here?

Header Long texts will be different from Line items long text, i think you are passing the long text for line items, so check how the long text is coming in debugger of the sapscript for each line item.
Look at the Text Element ITEM_TEXT in the Main window of the sapscript. It has the INCLUDE which holds the text you are talking.

Double side printing from SAPScript, last page missing
Hello all,
I try to setup double side printing from SAPScript, but have a problem and hope that somebody might help me.
In my form I have two pages with main window (FIRST and NEXT) which have print mode set to 'D' and next page set to 'TANDC'. Page 'TANDC' has only one VAR window which contains terms and conditions text.
Now, everything works fine except that T&C text isn't printed after last page (ie. after last 'NEXT' page). Is there a way to force printing of last (back side) page?
PS: Calling 'WRITE_FORM' from the print program at the end didn't help either.

this has a same effect as calling NEW-PAGE from form.
Again, window 'FOOTER' is printed on a new page instead bellow 'MAIN' window and there are no T&C on the last sheet. I also tried to explicitly call text element in window 'FOOTER' before calling 'CONTROL_FORM', like this:

Multiple text fields in Print Module
Allow multiple text fields in Print Module with flexible editing.
I'm with you on this. LR 3 has come along way on the print module but placing text anywhere on the page at any angle using any system font would go long way in making a great looking album page. If you are in the senior market you could add the customers name to a wallet sized image.

Adobe Acrobat Pro text box not printing and is hidden under box highlight.
Adobe Acrobat Pro 10.1.13. I am completing a form with text box throughout the document. I can no get the text box to printing and the text is hidden under box highlight. I have tried printing with the print feature 'Comments & Forms/ Document and Markups' with no luck.
It's doing that because you have field highlighting enabled. YOu can either turn it off or make the field read-only (if it's only used for display and not entry).

Hi Everyone:
I have a Canon MP620 printer connected directly into my Airport base station. So far it has worked perfectly - I can print any type of document over the network from my MacBook Pro.
Yesterday something weird happened. I have a resumé (as a word document) I was always printing but this time all that was printed was a photo and no text. I did a print preview and it looked fine. I converted to PDF and nothing was printed. I then created a brand new word document and again nothing was printed. I have no problem with images but for some strange reason no text can be printed. All that happens is that the paper goes through and comes out blank.
Any ideas?????

Item text of PO print output is not generatiing but text is updated in PO

I am changing the PO through IDOC. When ever there is change in the quantity ,net price and delivery date the print out put is generated autoamtically and changes are appearing the print output.
when ever there is change in the item text of PO print output is not generatiing but item text is updated in the PO.
If i change manually print out is generating for item text also but through IDOC print output is not generated . please help to slove this isuue.

For triggering the output for changes you have to make some changes.
- Go to SM30
- Enter view name "<b>VV_T161M_EF</b>".
- Hit 'maintains' view.
- Now let's say your outpu type is 'NEU'. For this there will be one entry like this.
Operat. Ctyp. Name Short text Update
1 NEU Purchase order New
Now with this entry add one more entry like this.
Operat. Ctyp. Name Short text Update
2 NEU Purchase order Change X
You just need to enter Operat. = 2 and Ctyp = NEU. The 'name' and 'short text' will come automatically.
- Save your entry and create.
After doing this, your PO will trigger output on change.

I am using macbook pro, been having a problem with my keyboard. Suddenly the uppercase, lowercase, numeric, etc are not working properly. I even cannot submit question to Apple, because I cannot type my password properly. Thank God I have this ipad, so I submit question using it.
This has only been going on several days, and it managed to frustrate me, as my work is much dependable on my laptop now. Please help.....I tried everything I know, unsuccesfully. I just moved in to my hometown- a small city, nobody understand apple here, don't even have a store nor service center for apple....

Take it to Apple to have them look at it. I think they do a free diagnostics. That way you can find out what's wrong with your MB.

When I click on Print on either of these sites and then close the Print dialogue box that automatically comes up, highlight just the text I want printed, then hit Ctrl+P and choose Selection, Print Preview shows me a blank page. When I try printing the selection using either of the 2 printers I have, it prints a blank page. And yet when I do the same thing in Internet Explorer, I have no trouble printing the text I want. I tried doing the prefs.js troubleshoot, deleting everything in that file that starts with print, but it made no difference. I used to be able to print this way in Firefox no problem, but now it doesn't work. Why not, and how do I get it to work again? I'm using Windows XP and Firefox 11.
A bug was introduced in the latest version of Firefox that affects printing selections that are inside a table. Because many pages use tables for general layout (without displaying the borders), this may appear to strike at random.

If you expand your selection to include some content outside the table, then the feature should work, but of course it would include some unnecessary information.
