Urgent help on minimize code

I have 3 different type " 1. state 2. COM 3 DC All three
below query are same but base on type it get result.
Instead of writting three time. Is there any way i can write
query 1 time and pass three value one by one.
I want to pass type one by one because All three get
different reuslt and each one has their own section.

    This is supplied from the main menu.
    On loading the form for the :global.sys_id = 'ST', it should load the third record (maximum start date for that app_id) automatically.
    In case the user changes the start_dt then it should pick up that record and display.
    to acheive this please help me with the code

    Firstly, please, avoid the "urgent" word in this forum. Nobody 's paid to answer questions, and there is no question that is more "urgent" than other.
    You can filter a based block by 2 ways:
    - set the Default_where block property
    Set_Block_Property( 'the_block', DEFAULT_WHERE, 'the_new_where_clause');
    - set the field content in a PRE-QUERY block-level trigger
    :block.item := :GLOBAL.SYS_ID ;

    iam copying data to table control from ztable.
    say i copied into my table control 20 rows.
    sayy i have my 18 row material field incorrect, i have an error message.
    for some reason my loop in PAI does looping for only first 11 rows.
    After the 11 row, it comes out from loop.
    i can see only 11 rows in my table control  for the remaiinig rows , i have to drag the vertical scroller and then my loop starts from say 5 to 16(11+5),its then i get the error message
    I need to show all the error things even though i don't scroll the vertical bar.

    The number of rows can be displayed in the table control depends on how many rows you have designed by screen painter.
    If you have designed N rows, the table control can display only N rows, if you have loaded more than N rows and you need to do a validation for all rows at the same time you have to do a new loop out of loop of PAI.

There is a demand file which consits of (Siteno(plant), Item No ,Item Description, Delivery due date) will be placed in a unix system or windows system. I need to write an interface which shows a radiobutton for unix & windows and fileupload button & download button.When user clicks should be able to select only one radiobutton (unix or windows) to upload or download.When the user clicks the fileupload / download button,it should pick up the file or drop the file at particular unix or windows system.
    Please help me or give me sample code where in i can select the radiobutton and i can upload / download from unix or windows path. and during upload process (for both unix/windows) ,i should be able to persist into a custom table (ztable,if iam not wrong) and while downloading read the records from custome table and create an excel file to be placedon unix/windows based on the radio button.

  • URGENT HELP NEEDED!!! (Almost a matter of life and death)

    Well, it's more of a matter of failing a course or not...
    Anyway, my Java professor gave us some labs to do. I know Java front and back, at least, whatever version I learned a few years back. This is my first tenure with the Scanner object, and it's messing me up.
    I'm using Eclipse for my project. I have three files in the source folder, ABC_Manufacturing.java, mseast.dat and mswest.dat. Now, when I try to instanciate a new Scanner object, it won't find the files:

    Scanner west = new Scanner(new File("mswest.dat"));
    I'm trying two seperate ways to do this. Neither are working, this is the error I get:

    Now, I added these files OVER and OVER again. I added them. I created new files and pasted the contents in there. I used .txt files. All the same error. It's like it just won't take the time out to look for the files that are RIGHT IN THE DAMN PROJECT! Then I tried using a complete path, using C:\Java\whatever. SAME ERROR!!!!
    Please, I need urgent help. This is due tomorrow at noon, and I have no idea what to do at this point. I can't really continue, because at this point its just looking at what prints out and formatting it, and I don't want to do that without testing to see if my code to convert the file data into arrays work. You dig? Thanks for any and all help, and I'm going to kill my professor...she spent a week going over parallel arrays but did nothing to show us how to import files into projects or use the scanner class. Also it doesn't help that at uni we have to use emacs, which I don't use at home.

    I'm expecting a slash (/) between forms60 and java. Have a look in the formsweb.cfg if any paths are misconfigured.
    Also, try if the URL with the slash:
    http://domain.com/form60/java/oracle/forms/registry/Registry.dat
    does work when you just paste it in a browser. It should download the Registry.dat file

  • URGENT HELP NEEDED ... Tomcat Realm and JRE1.4 plug-in problem

    I have tried the Security Realm of Tomcat. Since I do not have
    an LDAP server, I decided to use the Tomcat-users.xml file in
    Tomcat\conf directory.
    I added the following lines of code in the web.xml file.

The first time that I click on one of these links, the JRE plug of 1.4 shows a dialog again asking for the username and password. Till I dont provide the username and password the system doesnt go ahead and applet doesnt load. I do not want the JRE to ask me for the username/passwords again..How to avoid this ?
    Can you give me some more information on this. Ultimately in the production usage, we will be using LDAP and not Tomcat's memory realm.

    In the config file, you 're essentially saying that you want Tomcat to prompt for usr/passw on every request (url-pattern = /*) made by a 'webviewer', and that's exactly what Tomcat is doing.
    Consider using specific url-patterns & roles for resources to be protected. If for now, all you need is to protect the first page, use a more specific url-pattern.
    Just an advice : if you'll be using LDAP in production, do not waste time with Tomcat's Security Realm and the BASIC authentication type, since the two have not much in common. Start reading doc on LDAP, and code a prototype, or even better, a vertical slice of the app (i.e a proof of concept).

  • Urgent HELP required on forming the Matrix of data using PL/SQL

    Hi All,
    I'm new to this thread and require your urgent help in this regard.
    I've got a requirement for building a 5000 X 5000 matrix using PL/SQL. My original data tables have 5000 rows each and I need to do a correlation analysis using this data and need to store in a physical table and not in-memory. Is this feat achievable using mere PL/SQL? I understand that Oracle DB has a limitation of 1000 columns(but not sure) and hence I'd like to know whether there is any work-around for such scenarios. If not, what are the other alternative method(s) to achieve this feat? Do I need to use any 3rd party tools to get this done? An early reply from the experts is highly appreciated.

    I'll get to your quesiton in a moment, but first some welcome information. Many OTN posters consider it impolite to mark threads as "urgent". We are volunteers and have jobs of our own to do without people we don't know making demands. You are brand new and deserve some patience but please understand this. It is very likely before I finish this post someone will complain about the word "urgent" in your subject.
    On to more interesting things :)
    You can do the matrix, but are out of luck with a 5000 x 5000 table because Oracle only allows 1000 columns per table. There are ways to work around this.
    How do do the matrix depends on what you want to do. You can do this different ways. You can create a table beforehand and use PL/SQL or simple SQL to populate it, or use the CREATE TABLE AS syntax to create and populate it in one step if you can get the underlying SQL to work the way you want, something like

      select a.*, b.*
        from table1 a, table2 bcan populate a matrix from 2 tables with an intentional cartesian join (the WHERE clause was left out intentionally, provided your data is already in the data base.
    If not you can use a PL/SQL routine to populate the data.
    There are a couple of ways to solve the 1000 column limit. The easiest way might be to have 5 collections of 1000 columns each. A more complicated but more elegant soltion would be to have nested collections, allowing 2 colliections that you can loop through - a collection of collections. Nested collections can be hard to work with. A third way would be to use nested tables in the database but I personally do not like them and the insert, update, and delete statements for nested tables are hard to use.
    I'm not going to give a code example because I am not sure which solution is best for you. If you have further questions post them.

  • Urgent Help Required for Connect Four Game

    I am a student and I have a project due 20th of this month, I mean May 20, 2007 after 8 days. The project is about creating a Connect Four Game. I have found some code examples on the internet which helped me little bit. But there are lot of problems I am facing developing the whole game. I have drawn the Board and the two players can play. The players numbers can fill the board, but I have problem implementing the winner for the game. I need to implement the hasWon() method for Horizontal win, Vertical win and Diagonal win. I also found some code examples on the net but I was unable to make it working. I have 5 classes and one interface which I m implementing. The main problem is how to implement the hasWon() method in the PlayGame class below with Horizontal, vertical and diagonal moves.

    I am a student and I have a project due 20th of this month, I mean May 20, 2007 after 8 days. The project is about creating a Connect Four Game. I have found some code examples on the internet which helped me little bit. But there are lot of problems I am facing developing the whole game. I have drawn the Board and the two players can play. The players numbers can fill the board, but I have problem implementing the winner for the game. I need to implement the hasWon() method for Horizontal win, Vertical win and Diagonal win. I also found some code examples on the net but I was unable to make it working. I have 5 classes and one interface which I m implementing. The main problem is how to implement the hasWon() method in the PlayGame class below with Horizontal, vertical and diagonal moves.
    Sorry there is so much code.
