URGENT ::: How to add UserName Token to SOAP Message Header.

I created a webservice client using CLIENTGEN utility of weblogic from the WSDL file. When I am trying to call a webservice which is hosted on TOMCAT server, I am getting the following exception::

The webservice ic configured as secured webservice, there is some certificate file which was provided to me from client. Useing java KEYTOOL command I have created the keystore from that certificate and configure it in the weblogic server console.
Issue is the SOAP message header is blank I need to add the USERNAME TOken profile to this header, in order to access this webservice. The current CLIENT code snippet is shown below:

Can any one help me in this?

1) Use something like TCPmon https://tcpmon.dev.java.net/ or verbose logging to see the actual message content on the wire that the client is sending
2) Inside the WLS samples there is a UNT sample in the INSTALL_DIR/wlserver_10.0(or equivalent)/samples/server/examples/src/examples/webservices/security_jws
If that works correctly and puts the UNT in the header, then I would compare that code with yours.

    You go to ESB home page:

    There you'll find a SOAP Headers project (under OTN Samples) which has an example of how to pass WS-Security usename credentials.

  • Username token in SOAP message

    Dear PI experts.
    I am using SAP PI 7.1 and having a scenario where a message is sent from SAP (ECC 6.0) using Abap Proxy via PI to Java legacy system with Receiver SOAP Adapter.
    I am supposed to send username token in the SOAP header. I have browsed quite an amount of SAP's Web service security material, but not yet been able to implement this behaviour. Mostly these documents are handling webservice scenarios between Abap systems using WS-RM.
    Could you please advise me to right track.

    you can use Principal Propagation to propagate your user from R/3 to PI to your target application.....you will have to ask your basis guys to enable Principal Propagation in your XI system by making your r/3 system and XI system as trusted systems to eachother.

    I think of something like:
    First, you create extension, with transaction WE30.
    Then, reduce your idoc, your extension should also be proposed.
    Do not forget to add this extension in outbound we82, and/or we57 in inbound, and WE20, and find BTE or exit to populate extension.

    As Klaus1 posted, you can also use the Character Palette.
    In the Palette, select View : Glyph > Glyph Catalog. You will find the , among others, there.
    You can copy & paste, or position the cursor where you want the glyph in a document, highlight the glyph, and click on Insert with Font.
    If the Character Palette is not in your Menubar, open System Preferences > International > Input Menu: Checkmark Show input menu in menubar.
    To open the Palette, click on the Flag icon in the Menubar, and select Show Character Palette.

    You could try the following to create new text types for nomination header.
    1) Execute transaction SM31
    2) The view here is V_TTXIDI
    3) Click on maintain .
    4) Create new entries .
    5) Since you want to add new more comments in the nomination header enter the text object as OIJRCODE_H
    6) Enter a text ID starting with Z
    7) Enter a description and save the new entry.
    In case you want to add new comments at the item level use the text object as OIJRCODE_I.
    When you restart the transaction O4NM again you will see the new entry added.
    This will solve the issue.

  • MessageId missing in SOAP message header

    I am trying to execute a SAP (IDoc) -> XI -> SAP (ABAP Proxy). The SAP machines are 6.2, the XI machine is 6.4. I have generated and tested the ABAP proxy, works without issue. Per previous threads I also tested the message mapping in the repository, also works successfully. When I review the SXI_Monitor in XI, the message is received successfully, mapped successfully, but errors in the Adater Call step. There is no message listed as received in the sxi_monitor on the recevier SAP system. Error Message is as follows:

    Looking at the message in the monitor it does have a message id assigned. Only other interesting thing is in the trace section where it says :
      <Trace level="1" type="B" name="CL_XMS_MAIN-WRITE_MESSAGE_LOG_TO_PERSIST" />
      <Trace level="1" type="System_Error">Error exception return from pipeline processing!</Trace>
      <Trace level="1" type="B" name="CL_XMS_MAIN-WRITE_MESSAGE_TO_PERSIST" />
    All other messages are successful in this persistence(send to file, Idoc, etc).
    What is the issue?

    Check your receiver communication channel.  Make sure that the protocol is set to XI 2.0 for 6.2.

  • Header missing in SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)

    Hi Experts,
    We are implementing interface MasterDataUpdateConfirmation_Out between 2 SAP ERP systems. The middleware is SAP PI.
    SAP PI team requested a change in this interface Stack - Replace Stack ABAP by Stack Java. The changes were made.
    However, now we get an error in the interface in the SAP ERP sender system, but the message arrives to SAP PI where is processed without errors and also arrives to SAP ERP receive system and the message is also processes without errors.
    The error we have in XML message in SAP ERP sender system is:
    XML element {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Header missing in
    SOAP message header (SAP XI Extension)
    Exception of class CX_XMS_SYSERR_PARSER
    Can anyone please help us? We have no ideia what to do.

    Dear Manish,
    quite often the reason for this kind of error
    is the fact that the receiver of the XI message is
    returning a http response to the Integration Server.
    As of XI3.0 SP21 / PI7.0 SP13 this response
    is also properly parsed and visible in the error
    header of the XI message.
    For almost all prior support package levels an
    advanced correction is available as per OSS note:
    1064346 Improved error output for connection problems
    Please check whether this applies to your system.
    If so, you will see detailed information on the error
    in the error header object of the XI message as soon
    as this issue re-occurs.

  • How to add security credentials to SOAP header for EBS Web Service call..

    All,
    I am trying to invoke a webservice that I successfully exposed as a WSDL Web Service using EBS Integrated SOA Gateway. I am using OBIEE 11g Action Framework which uses WebLogic.
    Here are the steps I completed:
    - I exposed a WSDL web service in EBS R12 via Integrated SOA Gateway
    - I granted the access to this service in EBS R12 to user SYSADMIN
    - I used OBIEE 11g to make a Action to call the Web service (using Action Framework) by searching for the WSDL
    - When I try to execute the action: I get the error:
    Action could not be invoked.
    ServiceExecutionFailure :
    Error invoking web service HR_PHONE_API_Service at endpoint http://ip-10-87-33-3.ec2.internal:8000/webservices/SOAProvider/plsql/hr_phone_api/ Missing <wsse:Security> in SOAP Header
    PROBLEM: I am unsure how to add the credentials for SYSADMIN user and password to add the SOAP username/pwd to the outgoing call. Anyone on this forum know how to set up the SOAP to call with the correct credentials? I have been looking at the documentation but it is not clearly explained.

    We are facing the same problem. Every parameter that requries "cmd" does not work. I guess we don´t use this paramter the right way.

    when created added a field on the screen by using user exit then after that you have add the field in main table where you will be getting these table in the userexit only, please make sure about this. And i am sure defenitly it will get updated in to the table.

    But, thru XI,

    so, target system can't recognize that result xml.
    we are using mapping program with abap-class, XI3.0 SP14.
    How to add it at xml header in abap class?

    but I'd try with xslt and <b>doctype-public</b> and <b>doctype-system</b> declarations to do what you want
    in the second mapping (after the abap mapping)
    of the interface mapping that you're using
