URL rewriter problem with self.location

The url rewriter does not seem to rewrite the url when the following syntax is used with javascript:
onClick=self.location='url'
Both onClick and self.location are part of the rewrite rules on the gateway.
Any ideas?

Make sure you have provided these two rules for rewriting to happen correctly
in 6.2

or in 6.0 and 6.1

Having problem with header(location)

I want to have a visitor to a site agree to some terms before being allowed to access a page. There is no logon so the approval is only for the current session.
If we call the page with the terms (and the agree button) "portal.php" and the page with the data "gallery.php", the logic is the user goes to gallery.php where there is a check to see if the visitor agreed to the terms. If not, their redirected to portal.php to do so.
The code on gallery.php is:

The php code on both pages occurs before the DOCTYPE or any other html.
Any ideas?

Gallery sends to portal and the I Agree in portal appears to send back to gallery (shows in url display) but nothing is displayed.

If you have in fact gone back to the gallery page, you should certainly see that.
I should have mentioned that the test php files (...gallery_murray and ...portal_murray) appear to work fine. What I did next was to copy the php from those two files to copies of the production versions (with appropriate changes to the header file names). Those new test php files are ...gallery_header and ...portal_header.

Gallery gets to portal and I Agree gets to gallery but nothing is displayed. Looking at the source there's nothing generated. I'm assuming this is not a problem with the header php you helped with but something happening later in the gallery php file.

Problems with the location on facebook blackberry z10

my blackberry z10 facebook application doesn't show my location when i update a status or a check-in

This is a known problem with Internet Explorer 11, which Microsoft has been aware of since October 18 when they released their latest "untested" browser. The pages can't recognize the browser, so they don't recognize any of the plugins, like Flash Player. So far, Microsoft has made NO indication that they have any plan to fix it soon.
Microsoft's recommendation is to use Compatibility View for affected pages, and "pretend" you're using an different browser. Trouble with that is it has seen limited success at best, and you have to individually enable it for EVERY page that has problems.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.
Firefox (from Mozilla)
Opera (from Opera)
Safari (from Apple)
Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

Problems with file locations

Hi,
I've done a file location, but I've problems when I register the location with the next root path (This directory is on my local host):
c:\test\
All works fine, but when I execute the mapping that contais the file (prueba.dat), I obtain the next error:

SQL*Loader-509: System error: No such file or directory
SQL*Loader-2026: the load was aborted because SQL Loader cannot continue.
I have problems with the character "\", because it doesn't appear in the file name (view SQL*Loader-500).
I'm using Windows XP as local host, Oracle Wareuse Builder installed on a Linux Machine, version 9.2.0.4.0
Any idea of what could happen?

I am using the client OWB11 through CITRIX (an emulator Xterm - similar to anyone else). In the configuration of my locations, I am not using local directories of my Win, I use only unix directories, such as (/ swpkg/oracle/11g/owb/bin/unix). IIS Url Rewriting supported with SharePoint 2010?

I am currently working for a client that is investigating how they can do vanity domain names for sub sites. I don't believe this will actually work with SharePoint 2010 and believe it may put the environment in an unsupported state...however I need
to find some sort of official MS statement saying so.
Everything I find points me to
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc261814%28office.12%29.aspx#section2 which states that "Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 does not support asymmetrical paths" however I can't find anything that says the equivalent for 2010.
I know that web apps and AAM are the typical approaches, and now in 2010 you can do host named site collections, however they want to do sub-sites.
Can anyone point me to any official MS statement stating that this is not support with SharePoint 2010?

steps to create own infostructure by copying standard infostructure.
steps.... 1) First Create your own info structure using menu path SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis > information structure > maintain self defined ino structure Here create a New stucture called S901 (Follow Custom defined structure naming conventions) for application 07, by copying S115 .
Once inside this Choose the Charateristic button below and CHOOSE SELECTION LIST.
This will popup a list of fields that can be added to the structure for analysis per field catalogue.
Navigate to the notification Object field catalog to select the Order number.
Select other field as appropriate from other field catalog and copy them.Then select or de-select the "Key figures" thats relevant for your needs Check ,generate and activate the same structure and save.
2) Create Update rules for updating this info structure by copying the rules of S115.
SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis >Updating > Specific definition using update Rules > Maintain update rules.
Enter the newly created Structure name and choose teh Update group 26 (use drop down) and enter the S115 and 26 as teh group and rules to copy from.
Delete the rules thats not relevant for your needs and then check, and Choose "generate: and then activate the "UPDATING" and save.
3) Activate the Update type for the new structure. SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis >Updating > Update Control > Activate Update.
Choose PM and double click on the new structure that you had just created and chosoe Period and Type of updating (2: Similar to other standard info structures). and save.
This should start updating New orders that you are creating from Now on.
However if you would like to pre-populate existing data in this structure for analysis, then you would have to run through the generation program in background for this specific structure.
SPRO> Logistics general > LIS > Logistics data warehouse > Data basis >tools > setup of statistical data >Application specific setup of statistical data > perform setup - PM.
Here make sure to do the PMIS statistical setup (This might be redundant, if you havent changed any value category that updates PMCO table) and Set Up: Plant Maintenance IS(Make sure to choose your specific structure).
You should be able to check the table entries to confirm that the program has updated the table (Name of the info structure).
The defaulted version could be different from the standard version (000).You could copy the data from one verion to another version using the first step in this block.
Once the genration is complete you should be ready to use this structure using MCIS transaction (PMIS > Standard analysis > User defined analysis).
This will list out all the user defined structures and you can pick and execute the one that you had just created.

Problem with image location when converting word document to pdf

Hello all,
I am new to all this and this question may be already answered, but when I try to convert a word (2003-2007) document containing images (inserted photos) into a pdf document using Adober Reader 8, the images are moved from their original location and the size and ratio are changed. Is there either a process for preserving the images as they are in the word doucment or a way to fix the problem? Thanks for any help you can give.

Really not sure what you are trying to do since you can not import images into Reader. Since Reader can not create PDFs, we are at a loss of your problem. If you mean Acrobat, then tell us exactly the steps you are using to create the and what versions of both programs Like AA8.1., WORD 2003 (possibly release also) or WORD 2007. The different versions of WORD also also interact with Acrobat differently.

Win2K problem with self-signed certificate ?

Hi all,
We've got a self-signed application that works perfectly well under NT4. Once Webstarted under Win2K, it is correctly downloaded but does not display the warning dialog regarding the certificate installation (like it does in NT4). When the application starts, there's no activity expect the webstart splash.
Does anyone know the problem ?

I had a similar problem (and solution) on NT 4.0: the splash
screen would come up, but that was it. Uninstalled, reinstalled,
emptied out cache and .javaws directories all to no avail.
When I checked the .cfg file, there were duplicated entries for
the jre. I ended up deleting these, and replacing them with the
path to the jre I used for development, and knew was good. It
worked fine. I think I had a dodgy jre installation that JWS had
found and was trying to use as its default.

Problem with self-referral

How can I write an formula for a cell which evaluates the content of that cell, then performs the rest of the equation if the cell is blank, but leaves the cell unchanged if it is not blank?

This is for a chess tournament pairing algorithm. Each row in the table represents a unique, numbered player. The cell (actually, column of cells) is blank unless a checkbox above it is TRUE. Scores from the previous round are entered and then the table is sorted based on the running scores of the players (descending) before the checkbox is checked. The formula evaluates the following in nested IF statements:
1. Is the checkbox TRUE? (So that no pairings are made before the previous round's scores are all entered)
2. If there are an odd number of players AND this is the last player, enter "Bye".
3. If there is no player name assigned to this row, enter "".
4. If another cell in the column contains this row's player number, then LOOKUP and enter that other player's number.
5. If the cell is not blank, do not change it. (So that the rest of the formula is skipped if there is already an assignment)
6. If the row cell in the row above is blank, enter "". (So that pairings are made from the top-down)
7. Assign a match based on further criteria.
My problem so far is that the sorting falls apart if I cannot complete step #5, which gives an error for self-referral.

Fustrating problem with self-made 5-state button

Hey guys, just wondering if you could help me, i don't have
much knowledge with actionscript and i created my own 5 state
button using a movie clip and a little bit of actionscript by
following a tutorial online. (

Basically, when rolled over, the button slides out, and when
rolled off, the button slides back in. The problem is, while the
button is rolling back in, if you flick your mouse onto the button
again quickly, instead of restarting the roll-out animation, the
button just flickers quickly between the in position and the out
position.

off, and then while its rolling back in, quickly move your mouse
back onto it.

yeah this is typical when using a timeline based button
action. two things you could do:
1) control the state change by using a variable to indicate
when the motion is complete (or not) like 'isOpen' - you'd need to
do this for each button in combination with a condition in the
handler that 'reads' the var and determines the course of action -
of course the next problem is that if you 'rollout' while the
motion is happening and the handler fires previous to the setting
of the var to it's 'new' state it won't close because the condition
would only be fired once - the only way around that would be to
include a loop that runs until the condition is satisfied.
2) much better than the above method (which would get messy
fast) is to simply use the 'tween' class to create you motions, you
can then 'open' or 'close' from what ever the current position of
the clip is at the moment the handler is fired. you've got your
code on the timeline of the 'button' MC (good job) so you could
change it to something like this:

Problem with the location of files when saving files after signiging them

We have a application that calls acrobat writter to sign a pdf (some sign boxes not the all document), but when using the latest Acrobat it insists on saving the signed files to the previous open path used by acrobat and not to the current file location, saving the file on the wrong path, how can i fix this ?
example
acrobat.exe c:\myfile.pdf ...-> tries to save to d:\some_path_where_user_worked_previouly
To me this is a bug, i open a file make a change and the aplication tries to save the file somewhere else ? this is most wierd and also this was not the way acrobat 8 worked....
but i have yet to find a solution... also the same problem occures if i open the pdf file in windows explorer

I Have found the aswer.
Has i suspected it was a bug, i was being miss lead by a work collegue that reported that she run the updates and it didn't fix anything, but today she reported other wise.
I have run the Adobe Acrobat 11.0.06 upgrade and all is fine

I should add that CardinalQuest.exe works fine when invoked without any parameters.

Problems with file location variables and Oracle 9i

I'm new to Oracle and I'm seeing if I can get Oracle 9i running and do anything useful for me on a Solaris 9 platform.
The installation of Oracle went OK except step three, creating a starter database. The installation wanted to put it on the same file system as {ORACLE_HOME} although I told the installation that I wanted {ORACLE_BASE} on another file system. So of course there wasn't enough room on the file system to make the starter database.
I thought I'd be able to correct this after installation. I tried to make a General Purpose Database with Database Configuration Assistant but DBCA in step 5 of 7, File Location Variables still shows {ORACLE_BASE} to be the same as {ORACLE_HOME}, and no way to change that variable on this screen. Don't I want to change { ORACLE_BASE} to a file system that has enough space to make the data base? How do I change this variable? When logged in as the oracle user, I don't see it listed by setenv.
When I ignored this setting and tried to finish DBCA, it hung.

I looked for the {ORACLE*} environmental variables in the profile and login files of my oracle user, but didn't find that they were added by my Oracle setup. So I didn't think defining them as environmental variables would persist or overrule the global variables set at dbca run time.
In the dbca windows, step 5 displays these global variable settings provocatively in a table, as if Oracle wants me to verify and edit them if necessary, but I keep poking at them with right mouse clicks, left mouse clicks, backspace, and delete, but all I can do is turn them blue.
Currently when I use dbca to try to create a general purpose database, it hangs at 50% done, but not much space is used up on {ORACLE_HOME}. So it doesn't really look like the hang is caused by the disk being full. One of the processes that is hung is jre, so I thought I'd review the Oracle requirements and locations for JRE on my system.

Gateway URL rewriter problem

I have a page that i want to be able to be viewed through the gateway. This page incorporates mouse overs. I have the gateway rewriting the whole page perfectly except for these rollovers. here is an example of one of them:

The page contains a whole array of document.images[*].src values. Does anyone know how to rewrite an array variable inside a mouseover command?

taking a different tack - rather than trying to get
the rewriter to do some magic (personally i think they
should drop it and put in a parser or external api)
do the rewriting yourself using the iplanet supplied
rewrite routine ...
