Use GPRS to connect to internet - WHERE DO I ENTER APN number

Hi,
i am in India, trying to use my GPRS phone (Nokia 9300) to connect to the internet via blue tooth.
My service provider says that he needs to know where I can enter the APN number details, without which I cannot connect.
Please help
Rajat

which service provider are your using Airtel/Hutch...
To connect to GPRS first make sure all your Handset settings are perfect (you can browse internet from your handset).
Turn on on the bluetooth on your handset, make it discoverable. Open the bluetooth item on the top bar (i dont know what is it called) on the Mac. Turn on bluetooth.. select set up bluetooth device from the same menu.. follow the instructions and you are done...
If you still have problems call your Mac dealer or AppleCare and they can sort this out for you... or leave your number here can i can call you...

  • Where do I enter the number for Line length or measure if given 16/19x32?

Where do I enter the number for Line length or measure if set in Adobe Caslon Pro 16/19x32?  I know 16 is point size, 19 is leading but where do I enter 32?
    Thanks
    James P

The key is in your second image, though both are too small. Let's use this one, courtesy of Amazon's preview of the book:
All that "spec is saying is that the  frame the text is in should allow for lines of text equaling 20 picas. But the 20 picas relates to the column, not any paragraph style per se.
Now, if you received mark-up that is for a portion of text, say a poem set into a body of text in a wider column, then the 20 picas would relate to the paragraph style for the poem itself.
    Make sense?
    Take care, Mike

You can instruct Java to use, say, a HTTP proxy.

  • Not connected to internet where my library is. When I import cds is there a way to manually type in track info?

My Ipod library is on a computer not connected to internet. Is there a way to manually put track info from cds once they are imported?

Right click - "Get Info", change the ID3 tag.  You can copy and paste album art too.

  • Using DMZ to connect to internet

I am having problems accessing the internet when changing route from using outside to DMZ to access the internet. Reason for this change is because I have a FTP-server in DMZ that also needs access to the internet through DMZ.
The main server has two NICs and so I am routing default gw through the inside. I have tried to change default gateway to the DMZ-nic, but then I loose connection to the internet...
The ftp-server is a virtual maching running on the main server.
I have attached two nics to the FTP-server, but I can remove the last one.
    I have a base license.
    The configuration is as following:

    3) All virtual servers (I believe there are 5 virtual linux servers or so in inside zone) need internet access + any laptops (currently three) that are in the network as well. So all machines in inside + dmz shall have outside access. In DMZ I have an FTP and a Web-server.
The www and the ftp would need to send in and out, right?
    4) OK. I'll remove that one and report back.

  • Have to use diagnostic to connect to internet

    Hello!
I've just get my macbook for university studying and I'm very happy about it BUT:
I have to use the "network diagnostic" (or whatever it's called, I'm french canadian sorry :P) everytime I start my computer and I want to use internet.
My modem have wi-fi capability, theres no problem with this. Airport works fine, it's detects correctly the network I'm using with my other computer (connected via ethernet)
The problem is that I always have to enter manually my WEP key in order to acess the internet, and I'll also have to go trough all the steps of the diagnostic application.
I still need some practice to use wireless technology, but I rely on your help to solve this problem.
    Thanks for your help!
    Bye bye.

Yes, you must use the firewire to import to imovie. You can get them anywhere they sell electronics and it looks like this

  • Using airtunes without connecting to internet through airport express

I am currently using cablevision and a modem, wirelessly, working fine.
have extensive music library, want to play it through home stereo wirelessly.
acquired airport express. computer finds it fine, but cannot skip using A Express as wireless connection
    help?

you should be able to launch Airport Utility and setup your Express from scratch. The process is fairly self explanatory for me however, I found this tutorial that is pretty good and should get you through this ok, it's got screen shots to use as reference and covers the setup you are attempting to achieve.

  • Airport Express for Airplay Audio Stream while still using iPhone's 3G/4G Internet?

I'd like to use an Airport Express to stream music from my iphone via Airplay (AMP > Analog RCA's > Minijack Splitter > Airport Express). Here's the rub: I wont have an internet connection where this setup is located at.
Basic networking would make it impossible to get online with thise becaue the iphone would be looking at the Airport as the default gate.
I understand that you can setup the network on your phone to be a static IP, subnet, and leave the default gateway blank. This should allow the phone to see the Airport/Airplay and still utilize the 3G/LTE of the AT&T service. Can anyone confirm this?  UPDATED, THIS PIECE WORKS LIKE A CHARM.
If that works, that's great, I could stop there, but I'd like to take it a step further to make it easier to use by someone other than a network engineer. Can you set the DHCP server on the Express to give out a Blank default gateway, or will you need to configure the network on each device you connect to it?
The last piece isn't a deal killer for me, but it would make it super easy to use for others.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks!
    Ryan

Hello TKSF78. Welcome to the Apple Discussions!
I want to use my Airport Express to stream my music to my stereo so I can listen to music while still using the WIFI connection for internet.
In order to do both simultaneously, you just need to reconfigure the AirPort Express Base Station (AX) to join the wireless network created by the other router.
The following is the basic settings to do so:
AirPort Utility > Manual Setup > AirPort > Wireless
o Wireless Mode: Join a wireless network
o Wireless Network Name: <enter the Network Name or SSID of the wireless network that you want your AX to join>
o Wireless Security: <select the appropriate security type>
o Wireless Password: <enter the appropriate wireless security password>
AirPort Utility > Manual Setup > Music
    o Enable AirTunes (checked)

  • How do I connect to internet with vz access manager for iphone 4S?

I have VZ Access Manager on my laptop and want to use it to connect to internet on my new iphone 4S.  How do I do this?

If you can set up an Ad Hoc wireless network from your laptop, you could use it that way. Once again VZ Access Manager will not enter into the sharing part.
Plug these search terms into Google:
set up an ad hoc network
    You'll find lots of instructions.
    Best of luck.

  • Unable to connect to Internet through KRZR - please assist

    Hi folks.
I have paired my KRZR K1 to my Macbook. In order for me to use bluetooth and connect to internet on the Macbook I need to input some info on the Macbook. Through reading he different forums I have inputted the following info:
    Tel #: WAP.CINGULAR
    ACCT Name [email protected]
    Password CINGULAR1
I then try to connect and gives me an Internet Connect error box on my Macbook that says, "A modem error occurred. Please verify your settings and try again."
I have a Media Net plan with unlimited data as part of the plan.
    What am I doing wrong?
Also when I first paired the phone to the Macbook in the final step it asked for a CID but I left it black. Is that my problem? Was I supposed to put something in there? Should I re-pair with any other specific information to get this to work?
    Your help is greatly appreciated!
    Jason

    thanks!

  • WIndows 8.1 Direct Access Client Needs to approve external wifi use before it connects - proxy not responding

Ok So I have windows 8.1 with Direct Access Client and it works fine when I am able to check and uncheck proxy settings - which is a bit of a pain and seems unnecessary (I hope). If I take the laptop to a Starbucks I get the error that the proxy server is
not responding so it never redirects for me to "accept" the rules.
If I uncheck my proxy settings it then redirects and connects to their internet wifi and off I go - DA connects and all is well.
I am using a GPO to configure the proxy settings as shown (all options are greyed out for the users)

    Hi,
Your problem is a classic one when using that kind of proxy settings, unfortunately.
To solve this without the need of user interaction, there are two solutions that will sort this out for you. In your case, if you want to use your corporate connection for internet traffic even over da, I'd opt for alternative 1 or 2 depending on what you are
    trying to achieve.
    1. WPAD (Web Proxy Auto Discovery protocol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Proxy_Autodiscovery_Protocol) - it actually uses the Automatic browser configuration checkbox on your client and looks for the file wpad.dat on a specific web server that you Pointout
with either dns-record called wpad or DHCP option 252.
    2. Auto configuration script (pac script http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_auto-config) - uses the same kind of file as above. The difference is that you get the possiblity, like you want in your scenario to target what users that should get the script.
See this below article for more details on the options you have.

    I have 2 network interface.

I use eth2 to connect to internet, for example, update system. I try to disable eth1, but it is still not work.
