User exit in VAxx trx

Hello All,
I need to display the editor of long text at item level of an order in display mode(for example VA01). Is there an user exit to do this?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
Include MV45AFZZ provides plug in points for the user routines for Sales order related activitites. Check if you can plug in your code in one of the routines available.
Also through SMOD, you could search for any function exits using component name SAPMV45A

Hi everybody,
I have a problem with user exit EXIT_SAPLL03T_002 and trx LT12, i put code (the code is in the end) in the user exit in order to update the field QNAME from the standar table LTAP, the sentences for the update are in a job.
The problem is when a run the LT12, put the order and press enter the trx finish normally, but when i see the jobs resumen (SM37) there isnt any job.

Check the print parameters. Probably after execution you may be deleting the job.
You can change the print parameters during runtime.

What are the user-exits which will trigger on saving Sales Order

Hello Experts!!!
I am working on Sales Order VA01. The requirement is I need to pre populate Sold-to-Party field. I find out user-exit (V45A0002 Predefine sold-to party in sales document ). So it is working fine.
Now second requirement is I need to capture all the date once user saves Sales Order. Also the time or Sales Order creation I have to make u2018GRAYu2019 some of the fields so user cannot change the value. Can anybody tell me which user-exits should I use to retrieve the entire information user entered and lock fields in Sales Order screen?

U can't find it there,because it's a include, not enanchement.
So u need to use the trx SE38, not CMOD.
For sales ored there aren't the enanchements, but only some FORMs defined in particular includes.
U need to get the access key by OSS in order to change them.

Use trx SE19 to implement your BADI: create an ZME_PROCESS_PO_CUST using ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST as definition.
Now in Interface Tabs you can see the METHODs you can use as "user-exit", in particular there's PROCESS_ITEM to manage items data.
You have to write your code into this method.
This method has IM_ITEM like parameter in its interface, and it's like the type IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_ITEM_MM.
This type has the method IF_LONGTEXTS_MM~SET_TEXT, you can try to use it to set your text in item.
This is code for example:
DATA: TLINE TYPE MMPUR_T_TEXTLINES.
CALL METHOD IM_ITEM->IF_LONGTEXTS_MM~SET_TEXT
EXPORTING
IM_TDID = <YOUR ID>
IM_TEXTLINES = TLINE.
So you should read the text you want to copy and pass it to TLINE.
You can use the METHOD PROCESS_HEADER to read the text you need. This METHOD has IM_HEADER as parameter and it's like the type IF_PURCHASE_ORDER_MM, this type has the method IF_LONGTEXTS_MM~GET_TEXT to read header logn text.
Anyway while you're in implementation of the BADI go to:

Here you can try an example how to implement the method you need to use.

Creation of a User exits FI data posted from MIGO Good receiving

Hi all!, Will appreciate very much if you can help me. I have a situation where we dont use the std inter-co posting to trace inter-co trx . Neither do we use the SAP Consol Module. We are trying to capture the inter-co trx in SAP to be interfaced with Hyperion. Therefore we would require that VBUND filled in BSEG to be filled up for accts that are inter-co controlled . This control is done using the validation rule in FI. But the problem comes from integration from MM and SD. As the SD and MM do not have fields for VBUND when these postings post to a inter-co controlled accts the trx are not able to be posted. So was thinking if there is any way that we could assign the VBUND field thru user exits based on a logic to dervie the last 4 char from Vendor no. As our org codes all inter-co profile by the Acct grp = Interco and the last 4 char linked to SAP co. code.

I would prefer moving them to VBAK and then using it. Why?
1. Once you have queried KNVV and moved it to VBAK you do not have to perform the select again.
2. During SO change, you already have the data in VBAK so you do not have to fetch again from KNVV.
3. Lets say the Z field was changed on KNVV after creation of SO and if your requirement is to use the Z field content when the SO was created, you cannot go back to KNVV since the data is changed. But if the same was stored in VBAK, you do not have that problem.

I've to consider you ( or your exit) are in trx, so if you need to update some tables or another object don't belong to main trx, you make sure to do the updating only if the main trx is finished successfully.
So it's usually placed the code for updating in a exit called before saving.
But also you make sure the saving is done successfully, SAP usually does the saving in update tusk, so it has to call a COMMIT to start the saving action.
When the COMMIT is called you can be sure the saving'll be done.
So if you run your code in update tusk, you'll be sure your action'll start after saving.
For these reason you should insert your code in a form called in update tusk.
PERFORM UPDATE_MY_DATABASE ON COMMIT.
So only when the system'll do the commit your code'll work.

You will find the enhancement for the exit EXIT_SAPLCOZF_001 ,go to se11>enetr MODSAP Table name in Memeber postion you can enter your function module name EXIT_SAPLCOZF_001>now you will get the enhancement COZF0001 (trx SMOD)
yOU will find whre the exit is called from the t.code Try this method:
All exits have the program name as part of their own name, for eg, EXIT_SAPLCOZF_001. In this, SAPLCOZF is the program that the exit is called in, you can use this program name and search for transaction codes related to the program (in SE93).
The only hitch in the above method is when the program name is a function group program name (SAPL*), in which case you will have to drill down into the function group to find the corresponding tcode.
Or
Go to SMOD transaction.
Enter the Enhancement Name in SMOD.
Open in Display mode.
Now get the package name from the window.
Now go to transaction SE80.
Choose package from the listbox
and enter the package name.
Now it will display the list of Transactions associated with the project.

ME21 User Exit to check/validate WEPOS field

We want to use ME21 transaction for simple purchasing
We want to build a small enhancement to check the GR indicator (WEPOS) based upon a threshold order value
Does anyone know a user exit, badi or alternative that will allow us to import and export this value?

Dear Steve,
If there's a requirement to change the indicator agains a specific condition, you can define the condition in the exit, then create a Z* program that contrain a BDC of change PO (ME22), and in the Z* program you can check to the exit condition, if its meet than the GR indicator can be unticked, cause you'll need also to check , whether GR has take place for the PO or not and other condition, so you need to things to do.
1. add condition logic in the exit
2. create a Z* program to change the WEPOS flag(using BDC code ME22--> its more recommend cause you use the standard SAP trx) and you can schedule the Z* program to run background.

Try with BADI_SD_BILLING_ITEM, method VBRK_VBRP_FILL. I'm not sure if it will be triggered by VF11.

It seems that some userexits aren't triggered as in VF01 or VF04.

User Exit for KE51 - for maintaing profit centre group

Hi,
We have maintained a Z-table wherein we have mainatined a ranage of profit centers which will fall in a particular profir center group. Say, all profit centers created in range of 100001 to 100099 shound fall under profit center group 'AAA'.
So, if someone is creating a new profit center 100010 and by mistake gives profit center group as 'BBB', we expect the system to give message saying "the intended profit centre does not fall in the range assigned to profit centre group 'BBB'.
Kindly advise how to triger the message as above? Is there any user-exit for t-code KE51 that can be activated to check whether the profit center group (as defined in Z-table) assigned in profit centre master is correct or not?

User exit in MIRO for differences

Hi all,
When the user enters an invoice in TRX miro, sometimes there are differences between PO, GR and amounts invoiced. Differences are posted automatically in standard SAP.
My requirement is to, in some cases, use a different GL account to post any difference in MIRO.
Is there a user exit to post the invoice difference to a different GL account? if so, do you have code or more details about it?

Is there a user exit (trx. XD02) to modify structure BAPIMTCS and to execute a Z function module?
The problem is that a additional data field of client is not replicated to CRM. We have a client aplication working well. The only problem is, that no BDoc is generated when the (additional data) field and only the field is changed.

BADIs (Business Add-Ins) are the new way in which SAP allows you to enter additional logic into an application, and is based on OO ABAP. (Methods in Interfaces) Transactions SE18/SE19.
Customer Exits are the older method (which is still supported), whereby you create an include that is in a function module, which is called when the customer exit is activated. Transactions CMOD/SMOD.
In terms of terminology, people often use the terms "Customer Exit" and "User Exit" interchangeably, however, strictly speaking, User Exits are places provided in subroutines (notably in the SD module) where you can insert your own code, but require a modification to an include (although it is provided for customers to change).
They are two different methods to do the same thing: to check and update the data into std trx.
The user-exit is the old concept based on function module
The BADI is the new concept based on OO ABAP.
So you can often to find a BADI and an USER-EXIT to do the same thing and you have to decide what you prefer to use.
Anyway the new trx and the enjoy trx use BADIs as exit
User-exits are SAP's oldest way of updating data in standard programs - see MV45AFZZ - Form Userexit_Save_Document_Prepare.
Here you simply add ABAP code or add INCLUDES, etc
Customer-exits were SAP's next generation. They are built on the concept of function modules - where you add your custom within the Z func modules.
BADIs are SAP's newest and current way of updating data uisng Object-oriented concepts.

User-exit EXIT_SAPLSPOR_001 not executed (filter spool requests)

The default SAP functionality provided to control the output controller functions via auth. objects S_SPO_DEV, S_SPO_ACT & S_ADMI_FCD does not do what we would like to do.
There's a user-exit available to implement some additional code: SPOOAUTH / EXIT_SAPLSPOR_001.
I've activated SPOOAUTH via CMOD and added a record in table TSPOPTIONS (AUTHORITY, value CUSTOM) which was mentioned in the documentation of the function module.
No other changes were made.
However, this user-exit is not called when I start trx. SP01.In the selection screen I choose to show all spool request from all users for a specific time period. According to the documentation this should trigger the user-exit.
Now the funpart begins:
I've debugged SP01 and found that FM RSPO_CHECK_JOB_PERMISSION contains:
       IF INIT IS INITIAL.

Hi Mark,
Could be that the option value is being picked from cache/buffer (old value). You can restart the system and verify.
Also, after putting a break-point in FM RSPO_OPTION_GET, you can edit the value of 'v' in debugger and set it to CUSTOM, just to check whether the user-exit gets executed in this case.
