User abcd has no RFC authorization for function group SYST
hi,
We are trying to http<>XI<>RFC scenario.
When we are sending request from http to xI.
We got the followin response.
<b>"User abcd has no RFC authorization for function group SYST"</b>
Kindly let me know what authorization to be given to the user abcd.
Regards,
Nishitayou need to give that user auth. object S_RFC for FUGR SYST and activity *.
You can double check in transaction SU53 of the target system which check failed for the respective user. There it should show the auth. object mentioned above.

User |TMSADM has no RFC authorization for function group SYST
Hi All,
When we release any transports we are getting the above error, this is basically due to the fact that implificaiton of complex password parameters, to supress this we had followed the note 761637.
I had regenerated RFCs and reset TMS user, but still no use any ideas?
This is definely not the issue with Authorization as user TMSADM has right profiles.

> ... when I reset my TMSADM user though it says it was reset, but SU01 for TMSAMD user is intact , it did not change the user type to SYSTEM, it kept as it was before Communication data.
Then the reset is not working (which would be consistent with the note). You can administrate the connections (SM59) and user (SU01) manually now. Try to change the user type in SU01.
>
> I did not get the user to test the release , but I am checking in the RFC connection for this RFS desitnatation and it failes with same error.
You stated before that releasing the transport was failing, not the authorization test in SM59.
Note that default system settings for the "Connection Test" only verifies that there are no network gremlins between the servers and the RFC settings, it does not verify that the logon was successfull. The "Authorization Test" on the other hand verifies the authentication was successfull and the authorization to perform the RFC call was checked and successfull.
Most likely, the problem is caused either by the user type AND / OR the password is in fact not correct (or is arriving incorrectly - See SAP Note 1023437).
Some other suggestions:
- Check ST22 to see whether more details are available on the error (check source and target destination).
- Check whether the user doing the release is missing an authorization to use the TMS.
- Check the value of your system profile parameters auth/rfc_authority_check and rfc/reject_expired_password?
Cheers,

User x has no RFC authorization for function group SYST.
When call .NET BAPI functions. A exception was raised with above message.
Where and how to assign such authorization for a user?
Thanks.Hi,
you have to use authorization object S_RFC, with these least parameters:
RFC_TYPE = FUGR
RFC_NAME = SYST
ACTVT = 16
You have to create authorization to this authorization object and assign it to an authorization profile, either existing or new one.
Another option is to use transaction PFCG and create a role with this authorization.

QM-IDI : User QMIDI has no RFC authorization for function group QIRF
Hi,
I am in the process of trying to connect from Labware LIMS to SAP ECC 6, specifically the quality module. The aim is to use Labware to connect to SAP via the QM-IDI interface to
1) Download inspection lots from SAP
2) Upload usage decisions and inspection lot results to SAP.
Initially I specified an account on SAP of the type 'Communications Data', however any time I tried to connect to SAP from LIMS via the interface with this account it gives an <i>'Incorrect Username/Password'</i> error in the trace logs. I then changed the account to a dialog user, which seems to be partially more successful, however the trace logs captures the following error 'User QMIDI has no RFC authorization for function group QIRF' when I try to connect from LIMS to SAP via the QM-IDI interface after changing the user to type dialog.
I would appreciate any guidance on how to resolve this issue.
Regards.i got stuck on configuring idi. plz guide me. bond_chaitu at yahoo dot com

User PI_JCO_RFC has no RFC authorization for function group ERFC
I am doing IDOC-File scenario between newly installed PI and ECC 6.0 systems.
I have done all the configurations on XI and R/3 end.
When I TEST to send an IDOC from WE19, I could do it successfully and the status is 03 in we02.
But when I go and check SM58, I get the said error: User PI_JCO_RFC has no RFC authorization for function group ERFC.
From that I understand RFC in R/3 end require some authorizations. Am I right? If so, what objects need to be added my user role?
Please advise.
Thanks
ShivaHi,
Try to add the following authorization object to the role(s) of the RFC user:
S_RFC
Set the following authorizations:
RFC_TYPE = FUGR (function group)
RFC_NAME = <name of the function group containing the BAPI>
ACTVT = 16 (execute)

User has no RFC authorization for function group SYST
Hello Experts,
I have created one user in portal and given role which is also created by me. Role will give access to iview which consists of list WAD report link. User can access report by clicking external link.
When i have given that role to my user id it's running fine when I gave to another end user id then it is giving error no access to report " report name". For this i have created one role for this report in ABAP and assigned to user, then also it's giving error. I have assigne profile S_BW_RFC.
Can you tell me what are the authorizations/roles/profiles to be assigned to correct the error?
Thanks in advance,
VenkyHi Venky,
Sometimes creating roles is not easy if you don't know exactly whicho objects you have to include.
One useful way to design roles is to use System Trace (Transaction ST01).
1) Activate "authorization check" trace for user with full permissions to execute your process (Add user filter from ST01)
2) Execute all actions that final user should execute
3) Stop trace and evaluate all objects and values used
Add all resulting objects to your roles.
Other way is try/error: If you get a message about lack of authorization, execute transaction SU54 to see which object need to add to your role.
When changing roles, don't forget to log on again in SAP, since authorizations don't apply in real time.

Has no RFC authorization for function group ZRFC_XI
Hi All,
I have a scenario where I am calling RFC inside the BPM. When I execute I got the errror as
User SKXXXXX has no RFC authorization for function group ZRFC_XI
I have gone though the form
no RFC authorization for function group RFC2
User abcd has no RFC authorization for function group SYST
and I understood that we need to set authroization object S_RFC with RFC_TYPE = FUGR, RFC_NAME = SYST and ACTVT = 16. I think we need to set this to XIISUSER and the password and for PI7.0 user PIISUSER and its password
But not able to understand where we need to do this activity. I request you to kindly let me know how to assign this object... do we need to assign in SAP system or in XI system. please help me out on this problem.

DhillDhil,

IDOC Scenario - User has no RFC authorization for function group EDIN
Hi all,
I'm trying to configure an IDOC scenario from ECC to XI.
RFC's, ports and destinations already configured. On WE19 I'm creating an IDOC for testing the scenario. The IDOC is sent successfully, and it stops on TRFC Monitor with error "User PIRFCUSER has no RFC authorization for function group EDIN." .
Some of you knows what authorization is needed? Basis team said the roles are the same at DEV environment, and there this scenario works fine.
Thanks for your help.
regards.
RobertiHi,
Check with PIRFCUSER user , that is having the right authorization or not ..
And make sure that this user is present in the system & it should not locked.
to check that user is present or not-----goto su01 of the system & check

UWL:User has no RFC authorization for function group SDIFRUNTIME .
Hi,
In portal, while registering the system in UWL , I am getting this error:
(Connector) :com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception:User <userid> has no RFC authorization for function group SDIFRUNTIME .
I have given the permission to the user id as owner for the system, with which I am logged in, and registering the system.
It is also confirmed, that in the backend, the same user has authorization for the said RFC.
Please help as it is urgent.
Thanks,
Sonali
Edited by: Sonali M S on May 30, 2008 6:32 AMHi Sonali,
If your component is a webdynpro component, back end system is accessed via a logical system / JCO Destination. User id ( Lets say JCOUSER) and password is given for accessing backend via this JCO connection. This user id is different from particular user's backend user id. Verify whether JCOUSER has required authorizations in backend.
I hope it helps.
Regards,
Uday.
