Using Custom Client proxy in WESIMG

Hello Experts,
Greetings!
We have developed a custom proxy through tcode SE80 and used WSDL provided by ES workplace (MerchandiseERPReplicationBulkRequest_Out).
This is the scenario for outbound message type where in SAP will be sending data to 3rd party application. like Websphere
We want to test this as we dont have PI in place and we need to build a POC for using custom client proxy in wesimg.
So after building this custom client proxy using above WSDL link, we got a z class named: ZCO_MERCHANDISE_ERPREPLICATION.
If i try to put this custom class in WESIMG config for merchandise, and trying to run WESOUT for a respective "Site" and "Article" ; i am getting an error as follows:

Then change the width of your wrapper to either stack them all centered, or line them up across the screen centered.
You can remove the margin-left from the wrapper if you're adjusting the width. FWIW, a 100% width for the wrapper will center your bullets on a large screen and center/stack them on smaller viewports.

with Http Test Client you post your messages
directly to the Integration Engine (not using adapter framework)
so you can use Http Test Client to simulate any message

Extended_xml_handling using client proxy

Hi,
I´m using an client proxy in WAS 6.20 to call XI 3.0. I need to control one of the fields using the "extended_xml_handling" parameter. But how do i set the FIELD field in the control tab?
I use this code but i´m unsure how to field the ls_ctrl-field. Do anyone have an example?
DATA: request TYPE zskssend1.
DATA: response TYPE zsksmt_string.
DATA: ls_ctrl TYPE prxctrl.
ls_ctrl-field = 'ZSKSSEND1-SEND-TEMPORARYID'.
ls_ctrl-value = sai_ctrl_nil.
APPEND ls_ctrl TO request-controller.

You could also implement a workaround. Just pass some special character set e.g. $$## to all the blank fields in proxy response. You may then receive the data in XI and put some condition there to remove it.

Consume Webservice using Client Proxy

I wanted to consume the .NET webservice in SAP. I've below question, can anyone clarify me please?
1. Can we use client Proxy to consume the external webservice? I read in some document that this can be used if we are using XI message interface.
2. The webservice requires an user ID & password, how can i pass the authentication details to call the webservice if I use the Client proxy?

-> 1) You can configure the server to use its own soap runtime. Check out transaction lpconfig.
-> 2) You may user transaction sm59 and configure a rfc connection of type HTTP to extenal server. This allows you to pass
a user/password permanently.

SOAP --XI ---RFC or Java Client Proxy

Hello Gurus,
Need your adivce for a scenario in XI
Scenario --- To implement XI with SAP SCEM(Supply Chain Event Management).
Client is sending data from Web Portal (JSP Page) and wants to integrate with R/3.
(Request from client and Response from R/3 shown again at browser )
Web Portal (JSP Page) is on server A and XI on server B
Queries ---
1. Can I use Java Client Proxy Approach --- proxy --- xi -- rfc approach
If Web Portal (JSP page) is working in server A and XI in server B then can I call xi server from jsp page by passing xi server credential (username,password,bus service) and using sync Interface I can show result back to browser.
2. For SOAP Approach -- SOAP -- XI --- RFC approach
Suppose I need to send two parameters from my Web Portal (JSP page) to xi to R/3 and it will return some result.
Concept of Webservice --- any application (like BAPI ) exposed.
a. Pls tell me all the steps required for IR and ID
b.How can I invoke that generated webservice from my jsp page --- so that my request parameters values go to xi from my jsp page and to R/3 and then result from R/3 to xi and to my jsp page.

    Business System Role : Integration Server.
    Pipe Line url : http://server:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry.
8000 is the http port which i see in the SMICM+shift F1.

How does ABAP client proxy determine the sender business system

When we use ABAP client proxy to send a message in XI-SOAP format to the integration engine, how does the client proxy determine what is the sender business system, i.e. how does it know what value it should insert in the sender service field in the SOAP envelop.
For example, at first, the business system X8A_105 corresponds to the technical system X8A_105, so when the client proxy sends out a message, the sender service is X8A_105. Then I delete the business system X8A_105 in the SLD, and create a new business system that is associated with the technical system X8A_105.when the client proxy sends out a message, the sender_service is still X8A_105, why?

Execute the following function module in your business system and see what name it returns..
LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM.
You can always debug the code inside the above FM to find out how it gets the business system name...
I think the issue should be related to cache. I would also suggest you to logoff from your business system and then login again.

Unknown Namespace when creating Client Proxy

Hi,
I'm trying to generate a client proxy using Local File.
It gives error
Incorrect value: Unknown Namespace urn:oasis:names:specification:ubl:schema:xsd:CommonAggregateComponents-2
The wsdl file does not give any error.
This error seems to be coming from XSD file named UBL-CommonAggregateComponents-2.0.xsd
Below is part of this XSD file.
Can you tell me what is the problem here.

Hi ,
Make sure no restriction from firewall on proxy settings.
Namespace you are using for client proxy may not be available for consumption/not published.
Also , Try to check connection.
OSS note 944029 will give you SAP restrictions on name space.

Facing problem with SOAMANAGER while working on ABAP Client Proxy

I am facing a problem with the SOAMANAGER, I think so. Let me explain you a scenario what I am into:
The scenario is like I need to Push data from BI table to SAP PI. We decided to go using ABAP client proxy as Sender and then will
receive it using FTP adapter to FTP address.
I have created Integration repository design object Data types, Message types, interfaces and mapping. Now I am into SAP BI and running SPROXY and generated proxy for my outbound interface. fine.
Till now its okay.Now I wanna my generated proxy to be available within the SOAMANAGER T-code I am not able to find my proxy in the list.
Can anybody send me detailed steps for outbound proxy to SOAMANAGER for creating local port for proxy. I wanna use proxy with WS adapter.
Second Query:
I need to using RSPC in SAP BI to trigger the proxy what code to write with SAP PI 7.0 version.
Can anybody bring some light to this problem...

Problem solved, cannot say solved but yes its not required now as I am having Client Proxy call so it will be a native call to XI and which does not need SOAMANAGER things.

I am working on a synchronous scneario where SAP is sending
using synchronous client proxy to a database and after uploading
of data on JDBC side, the response(Success/Failure) flag has to be

Abap client proxy

All,
I have created a client proxy in CRM system and i have tested in from SE80 and everything works i retrieve data and works fine.
But now i have created a test program where i use a client proxy and i send the request with the same parameters, but i do not receive any response.
I have created the proxy object with the logical port and no exception is being throwed, any idea?

Hi Jon,
Whenever something unexpected happens, I think it's best to find out if a request has been sent out correctly from the client proxy and received by the web service.
If the web service is an SAP web service, you can use the following
1. SRT_UTIL transaction. You can find out more from the link below

Client Proxy--unable to edit Execute Asynchronous method !!!!

Hi,
you never write code in client proxies in the generated method
you can only do it for server proxies
if you want to use the client proxy you need to call it from your own
report (or function module)

I created a custom am method and exposed it as a webservice and deployed it to my integrated wls.
Then i generated the client proxy specifying the wsdl running at localhost.
now when i am trying to call the service method from client proxy i get following exception. Not sure how to resolve..please advise..

I guess that you are having a username/password for directory manager on OUD proxy (let's say cn=proxymgr / proxypwd), and another username/password for directory manager your ODSEE servers (let's say cn=odseemgr / odseepwd).
When you connect to OUD proxy using cn=proxymgr to perform a search on your backend, OUD proxy creates a connection to the ODSEE backend with the same credentials (because the proxy is configured in use-client-identity mode), i.e. cn=proxymgr / proxypwd. If this user does not exist on ODSEE (or has the same name with a different password), you get an error 49.
To avoid this issue, OUD proxy offers configuration parameters in the proxy-workflow-element: the exclude-list and remote-ldap-server-bind-dn / remote-ldap-server-bind-password. You have to add cn=proxymgr to the exclude-list, and set remote-ldap-server-bind-dn to cn=odseemgr, remote-ldap-server-bind-password to odseepwd.
This way, when connecting with cn=proxymgr, the proxy will know that he should not use the client credentials, but rather cn=odseemgr when discussing with ODSEE backend.

I am automating the process of sending appointment reminders to my clients. I started with an alert with an email in calendar using the clients email address as a custom entry in my me card in my contacts. this was resulting in three emails being sent with slightly different versions of the same address (see my previous post). Heating someone else's suggestion I created a workflow file to send an email and calling that file from an alert on my calendar. This is working and sends only one email to the client.
My calendar is on I cloud and I access it from three different computers so I can keep my appointment calendar current. The files that send the email only exist on one computer. My other computers show error messages when those emails get sent. It seems that each computer wants to send the email. It's a small problem but is there a way that I could not get those alerts.
But appreciate any thoughts about this. It seems like both problems might be related to the iCloud system.

Good work, catch so far Michael, does seem to be a "feature" of iCloud syncing, not sure what you could do to disable it.

Client proxy consuming web service provider using logical port issue

Hi All,
I have a proxy client having a logical port (configured using NWDS) to consume a web service in the provider system.
In the logical port, I have given target address, and logical port name. While moving this client proxy NWDI dev track to Q and prod,
how do I change this target address to point to Q and prod respectively. In other words, even though I am using Visual admin to configure the destination url for the logical port, to point to Q and prod, its still referring to the dev environment provider service after moving the proxy client to Q and prod. What is the suggested approach to take care of this issue
