Using XSQL programmatically for in-memory docs

HI!
I wonder if there is a way to use XSQLRequest-class without URLs? Is it possible to make XSQLRequest prosess in-memory XSQL-documents(XMLDocument,string or stream)? I want XSQL to parse the XSQL-document I've created programmatically. Now the only way I see is to write my XSQL-doc to file and then get it from file-based URL. Is there more elegant method?

HELP : Using XSQL programmatically

Hi,
I'd like to use XSQLRequest into a program, but the problem is what i want the XSQLRequest to process isn't a file but a buffer in memory such as a String.
As XSQLRequest doesn't have a constructor with a String which contents a XSQL buffer
and I can't create a file on the system because of performance.

I, too, am getting the error

under 8.1.7. My Java program ran correctly when executed from a client machine but as soon as I converted it to a Java stored procedure and loaded it into our 8.1.7 database, weird things started to happen.
It is nice to know I'm not crazy.

Using INSERT INTO for FDM Memory Issue

We configured FDM to run an integration script into our EBS instance upon the import step. It worked fine for a time, then we began running out of memory on the FDM server. Upon Oracle's suggestion, we stopped running through a record set to append and update the values to strWorkTableName and instead began using INSERT INTO. I admit, I have never needed to use the INSERT INTO way of doing things so I may be missing something bery basic.

I really think the issue is that I am not telling the script where to find the Oracle tables at. I left the code in where we were using the UDL to call in the opening of the record set, but since we are doing away with the record set how do I let FDM know where to find the Oracle tables?

Here's a script with INSERT INTO that works fine if FDM back-end is SQL DB and it's pulling from FDMHarris data warehouse which is on SQL Server.
Problem is when FDM back-end is Oracle DB and it's pulling from FDMHarris data warehouse which is on SQL Server.
I'm assuming the INSERT INTO statement needs to be written differently, syntax wise?

YES, that is the free 5GB icloud memory for each apple ID. Can I not add the free 5Gb of my second Iphone to my original apple ID (5GB also) as I want to use one Apple ID name on both 2 Iphones? Is it necessary to have a different apple ID for the second Iphone to avail the free 5GB it carries with it?

"No enought room on startup disk for Application Memory" when using the Accelerate Framework

Dear colleagues,
I am running what I know is a large problem for a scientific application (tochnog) a finite element solver that runs from the Terminal. The application tries to solve 1,320,000 simultaneous linear equations. The problem starts when I use the Accelerate Framework as the Virtual Memory size jumps from 142 G to about 576 G after the library (LAPACK) is called to solve the system.It does not do it if I use a solver that does not calls LAPACK inside Accelerate.
The machine is a mac pro desktop with 8 GB of ram, the 2.66 GHz Quad-core Intel and the standard 640 GB hard drive. The system tells me that I have 487 GB available on hard drive.
The top instruction in Terminal reads VM 129G vsize when starting. When I run the finite element application once the LAPACK library in the Accelerate framework gets called, the Virtual Memory (VM) jumps to 563 G vsize.
After a short while, I get the "No enought room on startup disk for Application Memory error"

This is a screen copy of the same application solving the same problemwithout using the Accelerate framework.

System Memory Free: 4.52 MB, Wired 382.1 MB, Active 2.69 GB, Inactive 416.2 GB, Used 3.47 GB.
VM size 148.60 GB, Page ins 288.8 MB, Page outs 108.2 MB, Swap used 2.5 MB
I can not understand the disparity in the behavior for the same case. As I said before, the only difference is the use of Accelerate in the first case. Also, as you can see, I thought that 8 GB of ram memory was a lot.

The OP had posted this question in the iMac Intel forum.
I replied along similar lines, but suggested he repost this in the SL forum where I know there are usually several people who have a far better grasp of these issues than I.
I would be interested in getting their take on this.
Although, I think you are coming to the correct conclusion that there are not enough resources available for this process, I'm not certain that what you are saying on the way to that conclusion is correct. My understanding of VM is that it is the total theoretical demand on memory a process might make. It is not necessarily the actual or real world demand being made.
As such, this process is not actually demanding 568GB (rounded.) As evidence of that, you can see there is still memory available, albeit quite small, in the form of free memory of 33.8MB and inactive of 2.53GB (the GB for that figure, above, seems like it might be a typo, since for the process when not using Accelerate the reported figure for inactive was 416.2 GB -- surely impossible) and 7.96GB used. The process, itself, is using 6.68GB real memory.
In addition, I question whether the OP has misstated the 487GB free drive space. I think that might be the total drive capacity, not the free space.
My guess is that it is the combination of low available memory and low free drive space prompting this error.
From Dr. Smoke on VM:
it is possible that swap files could grow to the point where all free space on your disk is consumed by them. This can happen if you are very low on both RAM and free disk space.

Using FIDCC1 for Inbound FI docs

Hey All,
Im trying to suggest to our clients that a 3rd party interface into SAP 4.7B using flat files / BDC sessions, can be replaced by using IDOC Type FIDCC1. However, I'm told that this is a very difficult thing to do and basically when we try to post FB01 Docs, the system automatically determines a lot of fields which are not available with FIDCC1.
Can anyone support/counter these claims? Have anyone used FIDCC1 for inbound FI docs? Please pass me on any reading material that you might have on this object.

1) i did not see any file created on my system with name test_document.txt, either on SM35........so, itired to give my own path of my D drive, its not accepting!!
2) and also i need other tx like FBB1, FBV1, FBS1......for these, am getting ABEND message in german, i did not wht it is?

The behavior is different on computers and mobile devices.
On computers, songs will stream from the cloud unless you explicitely download them, so no.
On iOS devices, each song is downloaded when you play it (or when you explicitly download it), so yes, if you play many different songs, it will eventually fill up your device and you will have to delete some of them.

u when u loop at invoices and calling the smartform FM, u can make this parameter of output options as space. ls_control_param-no_close = ' '.
this will close spool and create a new one when fm is again called.

How to install a new XDK-Java for using XSQL in my Oracle8i?

Is it normal for Kernal_Task(0) to be using 600 MB of real memory?

I was running some diagnostics and I keep noticing that Kernal_Task is using a ton of real memory on my system. I just had the mother replaced (the original fried). My machine (macbook pro, spring 2011) is running pretty hot as well, although Kernal is not taking up a ton of CPU resources.

Startup disk has no more space for application memory - itunes using 19GBytes!

I am having intermittent but recurring issues with the dialog "Your Mac OS X startup disk has no more space for application memory" and iTunes is listed as not responding. Activity Monitorsays iTunes consuming on various instances 16 and 19GBytes etc.
Any ideas??
System is a ~ 6month old 27" late 2012 iMac with OS X 10.8.4 32 GBytes RAM and 3TB disk with 2TB free. App Store says no updates.

Read this whole message before doing anything.
Back up all data.
Quit iTunes if it’s running.
Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Move the following items from the Library folder to the Trash, if they exist:
Caches/com.apple.iTunes
Caches/QCCompositionRepository-com.apple.iTunes.cache
Saved Application State/com.apple.iTunes.savedState
Leave the Library folder open. Try iTunes again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
Step 2
If you still have problems, quit iTunes again. Go back to the Finder and move the following item from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
iTunes
Note: you are not moving the iTunes application. You’re moving a folder named “iTunes.”
Test. If iTunes now works, delete the iTunes folder on the Desktop. Otherwise, quit iTunes again. Put back the folder you moved, overwriting the newer one that may have been created in its place, and continue.
Step 3
In the Preferences subfolder, there may be several files having names that begin with either of the following strings:
com.apple.iTunes
com.apple.mobile.iTunes
Move them all to the Desktop.
Also in the Preferences folder, there's a subfolder named "ByHost". Open it and do the same thing.
Test again. This time iTunes should perform normally, but your settings will be lost. You may be able to put back some of the files you moved to the Desktop in this step. Relaunch and test after each one. Eventually you should find one or more that causes iTunes to malfunction. Delete those files and recreate whatever settings they contained.
If the issue is still not resolved, quit iTunes again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were. You don’t need to replace the items you moved to the Trash. Stop here and post again.
If you later decide that you don’t like the results of steps 2 and 3, you can undo them completely by quitting iTunes and restoring the items you deleted in those steps from your backup.
