Value type Mapping Table

Dear Gurus,
In R/3 I have value types 1(Plan), 2(Plan:Splitting Among Activity Types) like up to 99 and 9A to 9D types available.
These value types are showing in RPSCO table.
But in BW only showing 10(Actual), 20(Plan), 30(Target), 50 (Budget), 70(Variance), 80(Selection) and 85(Accrual Plan).
My question is which R/3 plan value type is mapped with BW Plan Value type ?
Is there any value type mapping table to find in R/3 ?
Regards
Ramu

By R/3 Table COSB_VTYPE you can check mapping of all value types

  • Partitioned IOT of Object Type - mapping table not allowed for bitmap index

    Hi,
    looks like a feature available for standard Partitioned IOTs is not supported for object based tables, namely the MAPPING TABLE construct to support secondary local bitmap indexes.
    Can you confirm behaviour is as expected/documented?
    If so, is a fix/enhancement to support mapping table for object-based Partitioned IOTs in the pipeline?
    Results for partition-wise load using pipelined table function are very good, look-ups across tens of millions of rows are excellent.

    DEF456     500

    Thanks Dan,
    the intention is to range partition based on the initial character, so A* -> Text_Part_A, B* -> Text_Part_B, and so on.
    Here's an example, using an empty IOTObj_Table as created previously.
    1) Set up & confirm some test data (two 'D's, one 'N', and two 'Z's)
    SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('DEF456',500));
    SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('DDD111',510));
    SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('N3000',515));
    SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('ZZ1212',520));
    SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('Z111X',530));
    SQL> COMMIT;
    SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table;
    TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
    DDD111     510
    DEF456     500
    N3000     515
    Z111X     530
    ZZ1212     520
    2) Just to prove our IOT is enforcing the Primary Key based on the TextData attribute, try to insert a duplicate
    SQL> INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('Z111X',530));
    Error starting at line 141 in command:
    INSERT INTO IOTObj_Table VALUES (IOT_Type('Z111X',530))
    Error report:
    SQL Error: ORA-00001: unique constraint (OCDataSystems.SYS_IOT_TOP_84235) violated
    00001. 00000 - "unique constraint (%s.%s) violated"
    *Cause:    An UPDATE or INSERT statement attempted to insert a duplicate key.
    For Trusted Oracle configured in DBMS MAC mode, you may see
    this message if a duplicate entry exists at a different level.
    *Action:   Either remove the unique restriction or do not insert the key.
    3) Now confirm that our data has been slotted into the range-based partition we expect using the PARTITION clause of SELECT...
    - The two 'D's...
    SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_D);
    TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
    DDD111     510
    DEF456     500
    - The single 'N'...
    SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_N);
    TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
    N3000     515
    - The two 'Z's...
    SQL> SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_Z);
    TEXTDATA NUMBERDATA
    Z111X     530
    ZZ1212     520
    4) And to wrap up confirm an empty partition
    SELECT * FROM IOTObj_Table PARTITION (Text_Part_W);

  • Value Type and Version

    Hi,
    In most FI extractors, I see Value type (mapped to 0vtype) and version (mapped to 0version). Can anyone please explain the difference between them? Can you please share examples?
    Thanks
    Jason

    Hi,
    <b>Version:</b>
    Indicates which planning version has been used for the  data that has been posted to the Business Warehouse system.
    The default value is 0, that is, the most current version
    <b>Value Type:</b>
    Indicates which type of values should be posted to the Business Warehouse system. You can choose between:
    Actual figures
    Plan figures
    Target figures
    Hope this is clear.

  • Import conversion data table from SAP R/3 into value mapping table in XI

    Hi:
        Somebody knows how to import a table with conversion data that are in SAP R/3 and to take it to a value mapping table in XI?
        The purpose is to use a mapping table that can change in the future. Must I use a ABAP programming that retrieve data and build the value mapping table?
        If so, how I specify in the ABAP programming the group id, the scheme, the agency and the corresponding value?
        Please, help me.
        Regards!!!

    Hi David,
    please refer to this section in the help: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/2a/9d2891cc976549a9ad9f81e9b8db25/content.htm
    There is an interface for mass replication of mapping data. The steps you need to carry out to use this are:
    +Activities
    To implement a value-mapping replication scenario, proceed as follows:
           1.      Register the Java (inbound) proxies.
    To do so, call the following URLs in the following order in your Internet browser:
    ¡        http://:/ProxyServer/register?ns=http://sap.com/xi/XI/System&interface=ValueMappingReplication&bean=localejbs/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/ValueMappingApplication&method=valueMappingReplication (for the asynchronous replication scenario)
    ¡ http://:/ProxyServer/register?ns=http://sap.com/xi/XI/System&interface=ValueMappingReplicationSynchronous&bean=localejbs/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/ValueMappingApplicationSynchronous&method=valueMappingReplicationSynchronous (for the synchronous replication scenario)
    You only need to perform this step once (for each installation).
           2.      Application programming
    The ABAP program must perform the following tasks:
    ¡        Read the value mapping data from the external table
    ¡        Call the outbound proxy used to transfer the data to a message, which is then sent to the Integration Server
           3.      Configuration of the replication scenario in the Integration Directory
    This involves creating all the configuration objects you need to execute the scenario successfully. One special aspect of the value-mapping replication scenario is that the receiver is predefined (it must be on the Integration Server). The sender, however, is not predefined in the replication scenario and can be defined to meet your individual requirements.
    For example, you can use the shipped ABAP proxies.
    In the case of the receiver communication channel, choose the adapter type XI. Ensure that you configure a channel for the Java proxy receiver in this case.
    Enter the path prefix /MessagingSystem/receive/JPR/XI for this purpose.

    Christine

  • Syndicating Key mapping value from lookup table

    Hi Experts,
    I want to Syndicating Remote Key value from lookup table as per the remote system.
    In syndicator, if I map destination field to the remote key of the lookup table, I am getting blank value.

    Hi Mrinmoy,
    kindly check in the Data Manger whether have you maintained Remote keys for the lookup table. If yes then choose the specified remote system from Remote key override fields under Map properties in the syndicator.
    Incase you cant find the remote system in the "remote key override" field for which remote key is assigned in Data manager, then you need to check the Type (outbound) of the remote system in Console admin node. Because only those Remote systems type set as Outbound can been found in Remote key Override in the syndicator.
    After choosing the remote key you need to map the destination field with Remote key value as shown in the below image.

  • Issue with Value Mapping table

    Hi
    I want to upload a external value mapping table to XI.
    I do not want to code for it on the SAP R/3 side. and there might be more than 2000 value mappings. so can we upload a external mapping table.
    Is it possible?? if yes, then how??.
    Thanks

    XI 3.0
    Hi,
    first of all one helpful information:
    You can see all data of the value mapping tables using the
    runtime workbench: Go to the IntegrationBuilder->
    Integration Monitoring->Cache Monitoring, select 'Search
    for Value-Mapping' and choose your context.
    The value mapping tables are located in the J2EE part of
    XI. You have to send your value mapping data to an Java proxy
    located in the J2EE part. First, the inbound proxies
    (synchronous and asynchronous) need to be activated.
    There are two urls, named in the docu, you have to call
    from a web browser:
    (asynchronous replication scenario)
    http://<Server>:<Port>/ProxyServer/register?ns=http://sap.com/xi/XI/System&interface=ValueMappingReplicationSynchronous&bean=localejbs/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/ValueMappingApplicationSynchronous&method=valueMappingReplicationSynchronous
    (synchronous replication scenario)
    http://<Server>:<Port>/ProxyServer/register?ns=http://sap.com/xi/XI/System&interface=ValueMappingReplication&bean=localejbs/sap.com/com.sap.xi.services/ValueMappingApplication&method=valueMappingReplication
    You only need to perform this step once (for each
    installation).
    If you already have a sender for the mapping data, the
    next step is to configure the scenario in the directory
    Create a communication channel with
    Adapter type: XI
    Transport protocol: HTTP 1.0
    Message-Protocol: XI 3.0
    Adapter-Engine: Integration Server
    and host name and http port of the XI J2EE Engine and Path Prefix: /MessagingSystem/receive/JPR/XI
    The user XIAPPLUSER has the required permissions.
    For an asynchronous communication you can use the
    inbound interface ValueMappingReplication from the namespace http://sap.com/xi/XI/System.
    In that namespace there are also outbound interfaces you
    can use to generate a sender proxy and synchronous
    interfaces for the same purpose. Set the created communication channel as the receiver channel.
    You may need a mapping and so on depending on your
    sender. If you use the provided outbound interfaces there
    is no mapping required.
    The Data:
    You can create your own GUIDs using some function like GUID_CREATE in ABAP. You don't need to declare the context you use. Something like http://mycompany.com/Test should be ok.
    A sample in ABAP:
    CRM and R3 are the names of the business systems.
    data: lcl_value_mapping type ref to co_svmr_value_mapping_rep,
            ls_value_mappings type svmr_value_mapping_replication,
            ls_item type svmr_value_mapping_rep_item,
            lcl_system_fault type ref to cx_ai_system_fault.
      ls_item-operation = 'Insert'.
      ls_item-group_id = '315286378563858425463215845123548'.
      ls_item-context = 'http://Test'.
      ls_item-identifier-scheme = 'FormOfAddress'.
      ls_item-identifier-agency = 'CRM'.  <- Business System A
      ls_item-identifier-value = '2'.
      append ls_item to ls_value_mappings-value_mapping_replication-item.
      ls_item-operation = 'Insert'.
    Use the same guid for another value of the same group
      ls_item-group_id = '315286378563858425463215845123548'.
      ls_item-context = 'http://Test'.
      ls_item-identifier-scheme = 'FormOfAddress'.
      ls_item-identifier-agency = 'R3'. <- Business System B
      ls_item-identifier-value = '1'.
      append ls_item to ls_value_mappings-value_mapping_replication-item.
      create object lcl_value_mapping.
      try.
          call method lcl_value_mapping->execute_asynchronous
            exporting
              output = ls_value_mappings.
          commit work.
        catch cx_ai_system_fault into lcl_system_fault.
          write: 'Error: ', lcl_system_fault->errortext.
      endtry.
    See the XI documentation at SAP XI Design and Configuration Time -> Configuration -> Value Mapping -> Value mapping Replication for Mass Data.
    Hope that helps.

  • Getting values from a table without any type

    Hi,
    I am having problem accessing the values of a table which does not have a type. When we go and check the type of the table, it is not mentioned.
    While debugging we found that the type of this particular table is deep structure. I tried using ASSIGN COMPONENT using field symbols, but reference is not getting assigned. The sy-subrc becomes 4.
    Is there any way to access the data in this table?
    Regards,
    Rishav

    It is actually a function module which is having this table in the TABLE declaration.
    Table Name : T_OUTTAB
    Long text :

  • A list of values type item in a based table block

    My block is based on a table. An item of the block take the value of a field of the table when the form raises. But this item must be updateable (by selecting a value in a list) and then it must be of the list of value type. And the values in the list of values come from another table (not the based table). Is it possible ? If it is, how can I do this ?
    Thank you !

    Yes, it's possible. Just use a regular text item. Create an LOV using the LOV wizard. When you define the query for the LOV's record group, enter a statement that selects from the other database table. Set the return value of the appropriate LOV column to be the text item on the form. Finally, assign the LOV to that text item, so that the LOV pops up when the user presses the LOV key with the cursor in that text item. You can also set the LOV so that it automatically displays when the cursor enters the text item.
    Just look up LOV in online help if you need more info.

  • Lookup value mapping table through message mapping.

    Hello All,
    I am working on a graphical mapping (message mapping). When trying to map the source message to the target message, I need to find out it a particular <b>key</b> exists in the <b>value mapping table</b>. Depending on the result, I need to map different source fields to the target field.
    Is there any inbuilt function which will allow me to do a lookup on a value mapping table, or is it possible to lookup a value mapping table from a UDF?
    Please help!

  • How create a Value Mapping Table in XI 3.0?

    Hi:
        I wish make a single sample scenario where receiving data must be converted according to convertion table:
      01 -
           Legacy A | Legacy B  -
    M
                 Male:              01     |    M
                 Female:            02     |    F
    And I don´t know how build it. Must I create anything in Integration Repository? (any special message mapping or function?).
    Anyone know about weblog where explain step by step for "value mapping group" and "value mapping tables" creation?
    Help me please.
    Regards!!
    David.

    Hi David,
    You can create value mapping tables in Integration Directory.
    First you have to create Value mapping group using menu Object>new>Value mapping Group
    to Display value mapping you have to use Tools--> Value mapping.
    Also refer to following link on help.sap.com
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/13/ba20dd7beb14438bc7b04b5b6ca300/content.htm
    In IR Graphical mapping tool, use the standard function Conversions-->Value mapping.
    Hope this helps.

  • Accessing ID Value Mapping table in XSLT

    Hi Experts,
    In the XSLT mapping,I would like to access my value mapping table which i defined in ID .The purpose of ID value mapping here is, the table entries will be changing in future and i don want to use fix values, XML table  which is defined in runtime.
    I have gone through the blog
    /people/sreekanth.babu2/blog/2005/01/05/design-time-value-mappings-in-xslt
    which explians design value mapping table in XSLT.
    Is there any way to access Configuration Value Mapping table in XSLT? If yes, can you explain how should i achieve it ?

    Hi,
    you can use the xivmService to call ID val map tables.
    Use tha java function executeMapping, Its a standard SAP api.
    Declare the Service in XSLT at start
    <xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" xmlns:vm="com.sap.aii.mapping.value.api.XIVMService" version="1.0">
    Call the val mapping table using below template wherever required.
    <xsl:template name="ValueMapping">
    <xsl:param name="SenderParam"/>
    <xsl:value-of select="vm:executeMapping( 'SenderType', 'SenderTypeSchema', $SenderParam, 'receiverType', ReceiverTypeSchema')"/>
    </xsl:template>
    Call template like :
    <xsl:call-template name="ValueMapping">
    <xsl:with-param name="SenderParam">
    try it and let me know if you have any doubt.

  • How to put identical target value in value mapping table

    Hi all ,
             I am implementing a value mapping function .Problem is occuring for repetated target value.for ex: if key is GL001 GL002 GL003  and destination value is 4 5 4 then its creating problem for identical values i.e for  both GL001 & GLOO3 its not accepting 4 .Same manner for many diffrent glncode i have  identical values.not understanding how to deal with these identical values please guide me as its very urgent.
    Regards,
    Saurabh

    Hi saurabh,
    you can try this out....
    First you create a value mapping table in ID like:
    AWSYS   GLNCODE
    GLOO1     10
    GLOO2     20
    (without GLOO3).
    now in your message mapping do the following mapping:
                              Contant[GLOO1]
                                   |
                                   |(then)
    AWSYS-------------> equals---->if----------------->Value Mapping---->GLNCODE
                        |          |(else)
                        |          |
    Constant[GLOO3]-----|        AWSYS

  • In the Value Mapping Table n:1 relations is not allowed???

    I'm using Value Mapping but if I try to fill the Value Mapping Table with 2 different source values (e.g AA, BB) and the same one as target (e.g. ZZ) the Integration Builder does not allow it.
    I receive the message:
    "Rappresentation already exists.
      BB | ZZ
      AA | ZZ
    Do you want to delete it from the existing group and assign it to the current group instead?
    Any idea?
    Sergio

    Hi Sergio,
    I think it does allow you to have n:1 relations. The error you are getting is because the mapping already exists in another group. You can try to display it to see which group the mapping belongs to.
    Nevertheless, since it exists, you do not to enter it again. You are able to use it in your mapping program anyway.
