Video embed float issue!

Embedded videos are floating in front of all other objects. I had them embedded in a slideshow widget, then I tried it outside of a widget, directly on the page... the same result! My lightbox menu objects are obscured by the video when opened. I have tried moving the video to back, and moving the lightbox widget to front, but no luck. I have tried youtube (even the old code), and also a facebook embed. In only firefox, half of the lighbox objects are obscured, and some are visible, but why? What can I do??? Here is the link:
www.tightenupgirl.businesscatalyst.com

Add wmode="transparent" to the embed tag (in addition to the wmode param in the object tag).
<object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/B6hzf_gbuj0?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/B6hzf_gbuj0?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" wmode="transparent"></embed></object>

  • VIDEO embed issues

    Hi all.. Noob here...
I have created a very simple <video> embed with fall-back code for all browsers. When test viewing in FF4 locally, the vicdeo appears and plays perfectly. But when I upload to a server (retaining the same file structure) the video does not appear.  All other browsers seem to be displaying fine...
    Why?

    Hi
Have you tried it without the webm format?
The 'X' normally means that there is a problem with the video itself, (unfortunately, I like probably 99.9% of people have almost no experience with the webm format!). As the ogv file is playing in other browsers, (and should be playing in FF) then this file should be o/k. It may also be that FF4 is using the ogv video, (it is the first in the list that it can use) but trying to play it as webm, or in some way conflicting with the webm.
This is one of the problems with the html5 video formats and especially the new webm format, in that very few people will probably know of all the problems/conflicts that can occur until they become much more widely used.
The good news is that the flash fall-back works for IE, and the code itself appears to be correct, but as I say the webm is an unknown.

  • Photoshop CC(2014) is having "redraw" or video driver/GPU issues

Since upgrading my Mac to OS X 10.10 (Yosemite), after a working on a file or two, my photoshop image window looks like this:
This is a JPG, after I have opened a RAW file, with Camera Raw 8.7 beta (happened before the Camera Raw
update), and make my adjustments, and save.  Everything seems fine, the jpg preview looks fine, but after working
on about 3 images, EVERY jpg opens and looks something like this.  I can see parts of other recent images
in the garbage as well, and the image changes drastically when I zoom in and out.
I already posted to the Adobe forums, and someone suggested it might be a video driver/GPU issue with the new OS X.
    Any suggestion?

An Adobe employee in the online community had me turn off "Use Graphics Processor" in the photoshop/prefs/performance,
and that worked.  Not a total fix, since I can't use that now, and something is clearly not compatible, but at lease I can use
    Photoshop.

  • Acrobat creation:video embed insertion and page showing

Hi i'd like to insert a video in a pdf presentation i made. I'd like to who which format is the best to use, i need to send my pdf presentation through emails, so i need my final pdf (with video embed included) to be as small as possible, but still nice quality, and also that anyone will be able to open mypdf and see the video inside it. For now, i used formats like mp4, still not bad in quality and not that big in size, but when someone receive my email and open my pdf,the video dotn work,it says, need to find a player blablabla...
Also my other question is about, page showing. My presentation has many pages, associated with links, all links are working, and all page are showing ,but the size of my page never keep same size, and i set all page to be Fit to screen....under Preference but also under Properties...whats wrong?:(
    I'm using Acrobat 8 pro
    anyone could help me please?
    thanks
    Steve

If you're using Acrobat 8, embeded video is not really an option anymore. The format it creates has been disabled in all current software for security reasons, so almost nobody will be able to view the content.
If you're distributing a file by email it's always best to link to an online video instead of embedding it. Nobody will be happy getting a massive attachment when a URL would have served the same purpose.

  • Changing video embed code already dropped on page

In particular,  I want to change the embed code in Video Lightbox by Christine Ricks. When I add Object > Insert HTML, it comes in as a separate piece and isn't recognized as part of content to be triggered. I've tried selecting different boxes, the video always drops in, I position it, but Muse doesn't see it as part of the modal content. I've seen tutorials like Create a Lightbox on Adobe TV, but what is glossed over is, it's not as simple putting the object on top of the lightbox box. In the Video Lightbox widget, I don't understand why I can't select the predefined YouTube video and simply edit the embed code. Anyone experienced this or know what I'm doing wrong?

Actually, you are right. There was an invisible/empty container box over the video embed. Once I moved it out of the way, I was finally actually selecting the right box. To meet the deadline, I saved it as html and then changed it in the code, but I'm glad there's a way to edit it in Muse, since not fooling with code is kind of the point of Muse. Thanks you wintersdesign.

Are you running the 9.0.1 Update of the program and on what computer operating system is it running?
Is your video card/graphics card driver up to date according to the manufacturer of the card?
Is your computer optimized, including maintenance of pile ups of preview files, conformed audio files, and conformed video files?
Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
What are your project settings and what are the properties of your source media? When you say that "used to be able to export...." is that on the same computer, same brand/model/settings for the camera recording the video now in use, same Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1?
Where player are you using for the playback of these exports?
Please give us more details on the size of the projects (then and now) as well as details of the customized export settings in your Share/Computer/ route. Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 is only a 32 bit application running in 32 bit or 64 bit system. Not sure if computer resources might be taxed more so now than before.

    Rebonjour mcbuffy,

  • Embedding video in PDF issues

I have been trying to get videos to play in an interactive PDF exported from InDesign CS6 and CS5 to no avail. I have no problem doing this from CS3 with the old single export dialogue. With CS6 and CS5 I just get a charcoal gray box. I am trying to get it to play on page load with no controller. Even if I set it to have a controller I get no playback. If I don’t set it to play on page load it actually shows my poster and tells me to “click to activate” but upon clicking it goes to the charcoal box.
I have tried converting to different file types and codecs but nothing works. I have tried the original .mov, .mp4 rendered with H.264, F4V rendered with H.264, FLV rendered as On2 VP6. Nothing.
While I can do this on CS3 I shouldn’t have to. This should be pretty standard stuff. I am trying to figure out the proper system for everyone in the office to be able to embed video in presentations while working on CS6. These are intended for overhead projections. Any advise would be appreciated.

Well, I think I can narrow this to codec and file type. I have been working with videos given to me by my department and using Adobe Media Encoder to try variations. I finally tried a separate .mov video that I had kicking around on my personal server and it worked fine immediately.
My video is .mov with codecs MPEG-4 Video, Linear PCM. InDesign did give me the warning about it not being compatable with Flash. It can't give me a preview and it can't grab a poster image form the frames. It plays fine in Acrobat though. It is a small video: 6MB and at 480x480.
The .mov that I was given by the department is 1024x768 AAC, H.264. and 44.2MB. InDesign gives me no warning on this one and it can even grab a poster image from the frames but in Acrobat I get nothing. Same goes for all the variations I have made in Encoder.
So it seems it may be a file size, type, or codec issue. I do need to figure it out so I can recommend render settings to the team.

  • Video embedded audio issue

    Greetings,
I am using the lightbox widget to display a video clip from my server using:
    <embed src="video/cpm teq child.mov" width=600 height=400 autostart=true </embed>
There are 3 clips on one page.
When the page loads, there are distinct, and annoying, microsecond audio blips of each video.  I'm guessing from the first frame being loaded with the widget.
This does not happen if I set autostart to false, but then the reader has to activate the video.
    Do you have any suggestions?
    Thank you for your assistance.
    smiles,
    kyle cline

    Greetings,
Thank you for your reply.  I am a novice and have only used Muse, so
wouldn't know how to embed elsewhere.
I did find that the audio blip happens in Safari, but not Firefox.
    The URL is : http://www.simplytao.com/books---videos.html
Hmmmm.... new development.  I just this morning uploaded the website and
went live, and now find no audio blip.  So, for clarification, it was
happening when I exported to my computer to check links, video, etc. with a
    browser before uploading. .
Maybe it is not an issue.
    Sorry for the bother.
    smiles,
    Kyle Cline

  • Apple DVI to Video Adapter performance issues in Lion

I'm an active Apple DVI to Video Adapter user for a couple of years already and everything worked perfectly well until I've upgraded to Lion.
Everything on my TV screen is lagging now, even mouse pointer, and there is no change to watch any movie like that.
Does anyone have the same issue? Maybe someone could give me an advice of what could I do in order to improve graphics performance on TV screen using Apple DVI to Video Adapter? I'm using late 2007 MBP with 8600M GT video adapter.

I am having the exact same problem.  I have a late 2007 MBP. I use it everyday where I teach.  I use the adapter to project on a large white screen using S-Video.  SInce the Lion update, it is very slow and has even completely crashed my computer a few times.  I realize the MBP is getting a bit dated, but the difference between Snow Leopard & Lion is remarkable.

  • Surface Pro 3 Display/Video/Graphics Driver Issues - DisplayPort, External Monitors, Windows 10 Build 9926

Surface Pro 3 - i5 with Intel HD Graphics 4400
    Windows 10 build 9926
    All Latest updates installed
    Intel Graphics Driver 10.18.15.4079.
Latest system update released on Jan 22nd (which I understand is just the latest intel graphics driver?).
The display driver status has this error message: Windows has stopped this device because it
    has reported problems. (Code 43)  - I assume it's
reverting to the basic Microsoft driver when this occurs. Which explains why my displayport (External monitors) will not work.
I have uninstalled the driver completely (and deleted the driver files), tried the Windows basic driver,
and rebooted several times with no luck.
I cannot get my docking station displayport or the  displayporton my surface pro 3 working.
According to Microsoft (see below), this is a known issue UNTIL you update to display driver
    version 4079  - which I have.
Known issues on Surface after updating to Windows 10 January Technical Preview
On Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3, the Mini DisplayPort won’t work on the Windows 10 January Technical Preview until you’ve installed graphics driver 4079 or later. Check Windows Update often for the most recent graphics driver.
On Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 3, you’ll notice poor graphics rendering on the Windows 10 January Technical Preview until you’ve installed graphics driver 4079 or newer from Windows Update. Check Windows Update often for the most recent graphics driver.
If you’re using video driver 3496, you may need to start in safe mode and remove that driver. Then restart Surface in normal mode and go to Windows Update to get the most recent graphics driver.

    Hi Nicholas,
Similar issue has been asked here:
Surface Pro 3 restarting after a series of blank screens!
For error code 43, here is a reference:
Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems
For the current situation, please try to wait for the driver update, as display driver version 4079 didn't work well at your side, please submit this through Windows Feedback Tool.

  • Videos App Playback Issues (Out of Sync)

    Hi,
As of last night I've been experiencing issues with playback in the Videos app on my iPad. It's an iPad4 with the most recent software update, which has been done for a while.
The issue: when playing a video in the Videos app (purchased from iTunes) on the iPad (so not using AirPlay) the video very rapidly begins to lag behind the audio. It becomes jerky and speeds up and then returns to normal speed when it catches up with the audio and then falls immediately behind again. If I try to exit the app when it happens it freezes the iPad (although after waiting a while it will eventually exit, it's just a looooong lag).
It's not a buffering issue as the internet connection is fine and the video playback from other apps (YouTube, NowTV, etc) are all fine.
It's driving me mad - does anyone have any suggestions? I've obviously tried closing all apps, restarting the iPad, etc.
    Ta muchly,

Update: This is still happening - however these same episode files play perfectly fine through AppleTV (not AirPlay - but accessing direct through the Apple TV box).
Any ideas folks? I presume the problem is with the Videos App or the iPad (although all other video-related apps still work perfectly fine).
