Visual Composer deployment error?

Hi Gurus,
When am trying to deploy bespoke VC models am getting the Error in compiling Flex application (1).error
I have set the VC.VerboseErrorMessages field to True .....
what will be the root cause of this problem.
Kindly let me know ASAP

Thanks much for you response and guidance. However, I checked my IE configuration and found that all ActiveX's are enables and I still get an error message as mentioned in the previous postings.

Visual Composer Strange Error

Hi experts,
We are getting a strange error in VC storyboard.
When we try to drag a dataservice from a particular system ( SAP CRM System) , we get a javascript error saying that "object doesnt support this property or method".
But this error doesnt appear when we access other systems. It works perfectly fine everywhere else.
We checked the log. It says "HelpMapIndex.xml was not found".
Can anyone help us on this?

Unable to connect to BI System from Visual Composer

Hie there,
I am unable to connect to my BI system from Visual Composer
The error message which I obtain upon clicking on 'Find Data' and selecting one of the many Systems list are as follows :-
Error - 30014 Search returned an erro Failed to conect to backend system. Check your system defination and user priveleges.
Please advice how can I add a BI System to this Visual Composer

We recently got problems with deploying our visual composer applications. It has worked well before. The compilation excecutes perfectly, but when the deployment starts I get the error:

Hi Rajesh,
I had the same problem 2 months ago. Apply note 886209 (in the <compiler> element, find the <headless-server> parameter, and change it's value to true.Around line #146) and Deploy in VC must work.

Error when deploying Visual composer model in NWDS

Hello Experts,
I am trying to run Visual composer model from inside NWDS. I have included a Web Dynpro application (with a public part) in the VC model.
When the VC model is compiled, it successfuly compiles and completes, However when i try to deploy it, i get an error saying "Warning: Could not find file <file path> to copy"
Any pointers in this regard will be really useful.

Now I get " Nothing to Deploy" . I used iview as "Primary Window" and used compiler runtime as "Webdynpro". I created new iviews and tried to deploy them. I am getting " Nothing to Deploy" every time.

Deploy in Visual Composer fails.

Hello Experts,
    I am new to visual composer. I created a small application which compiles OK. When I click the Deploy button, I get the following on the screen:
      1. Compiling SalesOrder...
      2. Deploying...
         Error in compiling Flex application (1).
         Consult log file for details.
There are no error messages in the VC log on the screen and there is no message in the portal defaultTrace file. In the visual composer I have turned up the logging, but I don't see any error messages.

Runtime error in Visual Composer

I'm develping a Composite View in Visual Composer using BAPIs. I'm using BAPIs just because my SLD isn't ready to publish the enterprise services from ECC and SCM/APO. The main objective is learn how to use VC to create applications consuming data from BAPIs, Web Services, BI Query etc...
I developed a simple application using the bapi: BAPI_LOCSVAPS_GETLIST2 from sap APO.
Inputs ports:
LOCATION_SELECTION - TABLE
Input: LOGICAL_SYSTEM and MAX_NUMBER_OF_LOCATIONS - signal
The problem is the following: when only the out port ouput is used, there isn't any problem, and is possible to compile and deploy the Composite View and the output (NUMBER OF LOCATIONS FOUND) is correct.
But if I try to select some TABLE out port like LOCATION_TEXT, an error occurs in runtime (compile and deploy without problems): Connection Error: contact your system administrator: HTTP request error.
I tested the RFC Connections and also, tested the BAPI using the Test Data Service and all the tests were ok and that's why I don't know what is wrong. In design time there isn't any problem, instead in runtime the error mentioned above occurs.

Hi,
I think "Implementing a GP Interface" makes no sense in this case. Take a look at <a href="https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/vc/limitationsofWeb+Dynpro&">VC: Limitations of Web Dynpro</a>.
It seems that Web Dynpro in VC is not supporting all kinds of services and functions.

I wasn't expecting to have an X11 server running to run flash applications.
Any ideas on this one?

Note 886209 appears to be the solution.
You need to configure the flex compiler such that it knows that it's running on a headless server.
