  • 3GS Voice Chat Application

Hey I'm looking for a specific voice chat application. I would like an app that would allow multiple users to join a chat room and talk via voice with each other on the iphone. I would like this app to also allow users on a PC to join into this voice chat with iphone users. I would also like to make the chat room private so only certain users can join the chat room. Is there an existing application that accomplishes this? I have searched around the internet and haven't found anything yet. Thanks.

Stebalien wrote:Cool! However, the key exchange system looks a little unwieldy; personally, I would give everyone a permanent "identity" key (preferably allow the user to a GPG key) and then use the socialist millionaire's protocol (SMP) to exchange these keys. Once the keys have been exchanged, they can be used to negotiate shared session keys. This way, once you talk to someone once, you don't need to keep manually sharing a key with them. The OTR library (libotr) does this very well but I don't know how usable it would be for this project (it's intended for layering encryption over existing IM protocols).
Really thanx for your interest, i refer to the main developer . Be free to come in #seren on irc.freenode.net , to talk directly with him and the community!

  • Voice-enabled web using java

I'm not so familiar with java language. But my final year project have to develop by using java. I do not know how to develop a voice enable application. My system is to enable blind user to online and check their exam result. The user just need to enter their user id and then the system will read out the result.
May i know what should i do for the first step?

non trivial I think is the phrase that comes to mind - good luck!
a simple solution might be to record all possible exam results as audio in a db and just index and send back based on the exam result
if you really want to be quite sophisticated there are various hosted VoiceXML services you can use to send VXML to and for the audio to be returned
    start googling!

  • Dependency between RFID, Voice Enablement to ITSmobile

I've been told that to use RFID, voice enablement, or weight scale integration that you have to implement ITSmobile; is this correct?
We are currently going through an analysis of choosing SAPConsole or ITSmobile, and if it is required to use the listed above features with ITSmobile I'd like to understand the dependency.
Is it using the ITS service or actually using ITSmobile?  What about SAP AII (Auto-ID Infrastructure), how does that play into it?
I want to rule out the possibility that the person I've been talking to is just favoring ITSmobile or if there is a true dependency between RFID, etc and ITSmobile.
Please get as technical or process as you wish, I should be able to comprehend both scenarios.
    Thanks in-advance,
    Matt

    Hi Kori,
Thank you so much for your advice, in the meantime i also prefer to choose ITSMobile.
But I am considering about the ABAP developemnt effort and style.
I know that with SAPConsole, ABAP developers need to do some programming task after basis configured SAPConsole, I'd like to know whether there are any difference of ABAP coding style between the old SAPConsole and the new ITSmobile, I'm afraid that the ABAP programmer refused to use the new technology if they had done on SAPConsole.
The second question is: which kind of RF devices should we purchase? a web-browser embeded RF device is obligatory?
The third question  is: How does RF AP connect to the SAP application server? through LAN? that means the AP hardware has a RJ45 interface?
Sorry I am totally new to this area. Really thank you for your advice.
    Best regards,
    Fresh_man

  • How do i develop a chat application using jms over web based

  • What are the requirements to build a live video chat application?

I am looking into making a live video chat application. I
have seen several examples on the web so my question is not "how"
to do it. My question is "what do I need" to do it?
It seems that all the examples use Flex Data Services and
then some sort of back-end communication server. The cost of FDS is
well beyond what the client can afford so my question is: is it
necessary? Is there a way to build this sort of application without
FDS? Can I get live video streaming to work using only what is in
the SDK? I know nothing about data streaming, real-time
communication, etc. and have no idea how to implement this outside
what I have seen in the online articles so far.
If there are any other forums that are more appropriate to
this question, please direct me there. It is not a FDS exclusive
issue and I am just starting to look into it. I am starting here
because we would like to use Flash Player for the client-side
    application.

  • What is the recommended way to launch a web-start enabled Java application?

    Hello,
I have a simple web-start enabled Java application, which I can launch from a brower by entering :
    https://xx.xx.x.xxx/MyApp/launch.html
This method would show me a page. I then had to click on a link to run my application.
I noticed that I could also launch my program by entering :
    https://xx.xx.x.xxx/MyApp/launch.jnlp
This method would run my application right away.
I wonder if there is a recommended way to launch/run a web-start enabled Java application?
    Thank you,
    Akino

  • HT201262 Enable an application to run in Safe Mode?

When booted into Safe Mode on my MacBook not all application will run.  Is it possible to enable an application to run while in Safe Boot Mode?

Just to add to what Mark has said, Safe mode is really for troubleshooting a problem when your Mac cannot run properly in normal mode. You may already know this, but I thought i'd mention it in case you thought otherwise.
Here are some details of that environment.
