Want to print some string on jconsole

Hi,
I have some requirement in that I have to print some string value on jconsole, I dont know it is possible or not.
if possible please suggest me some way.

JConsole will show any registered MBeans that you have, so you can create an MBean with a String attribute and a "get" operation that returns a String. That String will then be readily displayed in JConsole under the MBeans tab. You can even expose objects more complex than a String as Strings in JConsole as long as those objects are Serializable, have an appropriate toString() method, and the class is included on JConsole's classpath. The blog entry at [http://marxsoftware.blogspot.com/2008/02/publishing-user-objects-in-jmx.html|http://marxsoftware.blogspot.com/2008/02/publishing-user-objects-in-jmx.html] talks about some of these issues. While it covers a custom object used with a JMX Notification, the idea is the same if you want to expose custom objects as Strings in JConsole. On the other hand, things are much simpler if your MBean that JConsole sees simply has an operation returning a String.
I am not sure if this answers your question. If it doesn't, you may want to add some clarification.

When i save my photos to a usb and take them to a photo shop to print it's telling me there are no photos on file. I think i'm exporting them correctly to the usb because when i open the usb on my computer there are photos showing up. i also tried this with a cd but still no photos were being read on it. i have taken the usb to 3 different photo shops and its saying the same thing "no photos found". I'm saving them as a JPEG file, Is there a different format these are suppose to be saved as?

Have you tried reading them on a Windows based computer? Could you have formatted the USB stick and CD for Macintosh only?
Did you use the finder, preview or iPhoto to verify the pictures on the media? You might have saved a little iPhoto library that other software may not understand.

I wanted to print some graph paper but the app was gone. when I use the more app on the printer it says conniction problem. so I did the network configuration and I am connected, next I did the HP software installer and it says im up to date but I still have no apps.

Not to print some of fields in alv

Hi ,
           I am displaying report with ALV grid using,
           'REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY'.
           My requirement is that I don't want to print some fields which are appering in grid display.
           Is there any field exists to maintain by which printing of some of fields could be avoided ?

in the field catalog there is a field no_out, set this to 'X' for each of the fields you do not want to display.
Eg: loop at i_fieldcatalog into ws_fcat.
        case ws_fcat-fieldname.
         when 'MEINS'.
                  ws_fcat-no_out = 'X'.
         when 'LTEXT'.
                  ws_fcat-no_out = 'X'.
       endcase.
       modify i_fieldcatalog from ws_fcat.
       clear ws_fcat.
     endloop.

After you finished editing the pictures, go to File>save as. For the file format, select JPEG. Save the pictures in a folder on your desktop.
Proceed to upload them to Costgo from the desktop folder.

To type Greek, go to system preferences/language & text/input sources and check the box for Greek, plus the box for Show Input Menu in Menu Bar, plus the box for Keyboard Viewer. The select Greek from the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen and type. Select Keyboard Viewer from the same menu to see which key does what. Do not worry about the font, that is taken care of automatically.

My failed solutions to print a string. Some ideas, however...

I do need to print some basic string out of a collection from Siena.
Now, being the print task not supported, I thought on four solutions:
1) launch the mail app with the string, then print the mail;
2) generate a data-uri, then launch within the browser. But IE does not seem to support it and Siena won't launch anything without a protocol like HTTP or mailto;
3) open the app in Visual Studio for Windows and add a print function in JS. But I didn't understand where the HTML is formed (Siena should be html+css+js) and where the element <button> is defined
4) take a screenshot and print from the images gallery
Now, the solution 1 and 4 are not really great... while 2) and 3) do not help me. Maybe the solution 3) would be doable.
I am going to investigate Google Cloud Print (they have web services) or ePrint from HP (although they seem to allow Printing of attached files and not email body).
But, however, seeing all the files of my project, having access to the code, could you address me where to change, for instance, the action of a button, just to change it to a function to print a string, later in VS?
Or, simply, has anyone a workaround to print a string, or to open a browser with a in-Siena-created string as content (like data-uri should do)?
Obviosuly I could write a PHP/ASP web service of my own, but I would like that the app does not require the internet connection to work.

PS CS4 wants a printer installed even though I can print some files.

I have PS CS4 on Windows 7. I can print some files but not all. On the ones that I can't print PS is telling me I need to install a printer 1st even though I can printer others. I have tried to rasterize and/or flatten the files and it still says the same thing. I have created a new preferences file, by renaming the old in my program files, and it still does the same thing. I have also printed the same photos in Microsoft Picture Viewer. So, the printer can see the file and print it. It's a Brother MFC 9460cdn. I've used the troubleshooting guide thus far and done all i thought or seemed pertinant - except.... As a newbie, I've not not figured out how to create a new file to copy the rasterized, or layers for that matter, to a new project. I can't seem to figure out size settings and duplicating. These are files that came with a business and for some reason only about half will print the other are stuck needing a printer installed...LOL

The program works fine only once that is first time after starting the system and I get the required output on the paper. But while executing the same program once again the exception is raised, that is as follows.
�Printing Error: java.awt.print.PrinterException: Printer is not accepting job.�.
If I want another print copy I have to restart the PC and the same thing continues. The following information might help you on which I am experimeting.

Print a string on a specific printer

Hello everyone,
I need some help.
I have to print a string in LabView. Previously the method used was to set on the option "Automatically print front panel every time VI completes execution" in the Print Options of the VI Properties.
Now, however, I should dynamically select the printer on which to print this string. The printer name is dynamically loaded from a text file.
Actually I'm trying to use the Print Report function (Easy Text Report.vi) that works fine, but it creates problems during the compiling: it create 3 folders in the directory where the executable is located (here the folders: NI_HTML, NI_report, NI_Standard Report) with all the VI "in freedom", not compiled but copied in there.
There are other methods to print a string through the name of the printer, or to solve this problem of creating random folders and VIs?

Your application does something internally that depends on the VIs being stored flat inside the executable. LabVIEW 8.x layout basicaly creates one flat archive inside the executable with all VIs stored in one level. That means it can not store VI files more than once with the same name. The Report Generatino Tools are however written using LabVIEW OOP which requires VIs to be named the same in order to allow dynamic dispatch.
If you deselect the LabVIEW 8.x layout option, the VIs are stored inside the executable in the same hierarchical structure as they are on disk in the source code of your application. That allows multple VIs with the same name to be placed inside the executable, but it does make the internal file hierarchy more complex.
Bsically you have two options:
1) figure out where in your appliction yoeu depend on internal paths of VIs to be in a flat order. Most likely this are Current VI path nodes that your application uses to strip twice a path element to find the directory in which the executable is located, for instance to find configuration files or similar. Replace this legacy code construct with an Application Directory property which will return the directory your executable is in rspectively the directory of your project file when you run your app in the devlopment environment.
2) Live with the extra files outside of your executable!

If NO_DATA_FOUND then want to print message instead layout

The report has dynamic query, which is built on base of parameters passed by USER at run-time.
Suppose if no data is returned for that query, (1)how can I avoid printing regular titles and (2) print some other message saying data is not found.

On your data model, create a report-level summary column that counts some column in your report. Then, on the layout model, create a boilerplate text containing the message that you want displayed when there are no records fetched. Then create a format trigger for the boilerplate that suppresses it when there are records, but displays it when there aren't. ex:

How do I specify that I just want to print pg 1 to 2 not the rest of doc

I'm new to apple and not sure how I specify which pages to
print there doesn't seem to be a print preview in the sense I
can specify and define what I want to print of a document.
I found the 'grab' feature/crosshairs to locate on a portion of
a page so I can print a portion of one page yet doesn't give me
a range selector to specifically set it to certain no. of pages.

When the print dialog box comes up, the default looks pretty small. However, there is a button that looks like a triangle next to the pull down menu where it says "Printer:". This will give you some more options, including being able to print pages in a specific range.

Firefox "print" prints some text on top of other text. How can I fix it?

I want to print a webpage with a travel itinerary on it. The itinerary is quite long, exceeds the page height and overflows onto the next page. Unfortunately the information below the itinerary is then printed on top of the itinerary information on the overflow page.
I have tried the same page in Chrome, Safari and IE 10 and it prints correctly in all of them.
I use a css (print.css media='print') to control some of the print output.
Can anyone help please?

I see that you have covered some of the basic troubleshooting tips- but you might try resetting the printer. Here are some other suggestions:
- If you have made changes to Advanced font settings like increasing the minimum/default font size then try the default minimum setting "none" and the default font size 16 in case the current setting is causing problems.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced > Minimum Font Size (none)
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.
- Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"
It is better not to increase the minimum font size, but to use an extension to set the default page zoom to prevent issues with text not being displayed properly.
- You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.
