hi guys,
i have a table called purchase_detail, table have many fields but the fields related to my query are 2, unit_serial_no and category_code. Like single unit_serial_no can have multiple category_code for example:
unit_serial_no category_code
1 1
1 3
1 9
2 1
2 4
2 9
3 1
3 4
I want to find such unit_serial_no that do not contain category_code 9. Like in the above example only unit_serial_no 3 have no category_code with 9. so the query only returns
unit_serial_no
9
How can i write such a query. Please help its urgent have to make a quick report.

I can write a query that says:
select project_id, count(1)
from (select distinct project_id, effective_date
from xx_proj_task_data) x
group by project_id;
But, is there a way I can achieve the same by avoiding the inner Query (x) and just by a simple query ?

One thing I understood my your issue is you want to perform, execution of query once or fetch the results sets my minimizing the number of times executions of queries. It would be hard for us to check in this way, atleast provide some temporary data and some business rules. Only I can IN, >, < (queries logical conditons on inner query)

Hi, can somebody please help me write a SQL query.
I have 3 tables each with the same column names (Col1, Col2, Col3). Col1 is PK with Unique Constraint.
I wanted to add values of Col2 and Col3 (from all 3 tables) and put it in a separate table (i.e aggregated) of all values found in Col1.
Does anybody help me please ?

Are you saying you want t1.c2 + t1.c3 + t2.c2 + t2.c3+ t3.c2 + t3.c3 for the rows that have the same c1 in all three tables?
If so, it would be like this, I think: insert into t4
select t1.c1
, t1.c2 + t1.c3 + t2.c2 + t2.c3+ t3.c2 + t3.c3
from t1, t2, t3
where t2.c1 = t1.c1
and t3.c1 = t1.c1If that's not what you want, please clarify.

Most pages have layouts for pictures only or pictures with text boxes. Either select the same layout for that page but the one without the text box or put a space in the text box.
Putting a space in the text box will avoid getting the warning when ordering that there's an unfilled text box in the book. The box will not be visible in the final product. You can and should check the book before ordering by previewing it as described in this Apple document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it
