This is a frustrating experience and probably explains why I was Elite Plus last year and am not even close to even hitting Elite this year. The overall hassle of dealing with Best Buy and the quality of the stores (especially the shrinking media stock) has caused me to choose other retailers for my needs. This most recent issue is an example. In addition to posting here, I called Best Buy support who confirmed the promotion was not working properly when I tried to order. I asked if it would work properly in the store, including on pre-orders, and was assured 100% it would. I went to my local store today and tried to do this, but was informed that pre-orders for movies and tv shows are considered an online thing and thus would not work for this promotion in-store. I understand that the website and stores are different entities, but both have this promotion and neither one is working correctly. The website is glitching and the system in-store is not allowing the transaction to work properly because it would not be considered an in-store transaction for pre-orders. So somebody is either lying or does not know what they're talking about. After leaving the store frustrated because of the extra time spent and gas used, I call up the Best Buy support line again and explain my situation. Of course, about 15 minutes in, the call is inexplicably disconnected. I call back and get another representative, but not much seems to have changed. The promotion is still not working and I'll have to wait 5-7 business days to get a supervisor's approval. One of these titles in a new release and I was hoping to get it today, but now I have to wait for this, and then shipping time if I even hear back at all. All in all, I've probably spent close to 2 hours on the phone getting annoyed and had to drive all the way over to the store, waste more time, and still be no closer to what I want.

Most scan apps have a setting whereas, your scan(s) can go directly to your desktop. No need to "hunt" for scanned docs.

Hide/Show Today View from Lock Screen in iOS 8

In iOS 7 I had customized for the Today View not to show from the lock screen. In iOS 7 the Setting was simple, Go to Settings > Notification Center > Turn Off "Today View" for the lock screen.
I updated to iOS 8 & the Today view is much more useful now so I want to bring it back on the lock screen but I can not! Going to Settings > Notifications, only shows the notifications but not a way to toggle on/off Today view.

Choose whether to show Today and Notifications View on a locked screen. Go to Settings > Touch ID & Passcode (iPhone models with Touch ID) or Settings > Passcode (other models), then choose whether to allow access when locked.

After using Tab Groups earlier today, now anytime I close FF with more than 1 tab open, FF does NOT ask me to confirm before closing. FF always has asked me to confirm in the past and no settings were changed prior to trying the Tab Groups. Then when I reopen FF all the tabs that I had open are still there. I've tried refreshing FF and clearing history but that didn't work. It's almost as though FF thinks the window and tabs I have open are a tab group and it won't let me get rid of that group. How do I stop the Tab Groups now that I got them? Or is there something else going on? None of this was happening until I played with the Tab Groups this morning. I was curious what it was --- that's going to get me killed one of these days lol.

Thanks. Somehow the "Show my windows and tabs" box had gotten checked. I know I didn't check that box and the "Warn me when closing multiple tabs" box has always been checked. Like I said, it was all working fine until I tried the tab groups so I'm wondering if maybe that checks the "Show my windows and tabs" box by default?

Is there a way to watch downloaded shows back to back??!! 'm a Mom to a toddler and the consecutive "play" option apple once had was a life saver when taking long trips in the car. I don't need to play movies, my son lacks the attention span to follow right now but disney junior shows keep him content with lots of singing and colors. I was able to press the "play" button on the screen and it would play all shows under a specific title. That button is now missing under the ios7.1.1 "upate". I don't know why apple would remove ths option but itabsolutley aggravating. Shouldn't updates make the iPad better not worse. The update was bad enough on the iphone but I'm so fed up with apple I'm thinking about switching to a better product. Apple really stionks now. What happened to being intuitive and user friendly?? DOES ANYONE KNOW SOME NOT SO OBVIOUS WAY TO PLAY SHOWS CONSCUTIVELY???!!! Please help!!

Not unless you can download the episodes to the iPod. Most of the TV show apps stream the content via WiFi so you need to be able to connect to the internet.
TV shows that you download in iTunes can be watched - after fully downloading - without WiFi.

Firefox was fine on my LapTop earlier today, Now, I have no access or visualization of the Main Menu Listings that are usually just below the title bar,i,e,,File,Edit,View,History,Bookmarks, Helpetc. Since I don' have access (it's not there), I cannot change settings. I have uninstalled and re-installed and it re-installs the same way.

* In Firefox 3.6 versions on Windows and Firefox 4 on Windows and Linux it's possible to hide the "Menu Bar" via "View > Toolbars" or via the right-click context menu of a toolbar.
* Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
* Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

i downloaded a tv show from itunes, i store them on a drive normally. i have copied that drive to a smaller one so i can take to the girlfriends house, now i cant what anything that i have downloaded. all the ripped movies and that are fine..

If you are not able to watch TV shows from the iTunes Store on another computer, make sure you've downloaded the latest version of iTunes on that computer:

From the iPod's Main Menu choose Videos -> Settings and make sure TV Out is set to Off.
Otherwise, try a hard reset as well. To do this, press and hold both the Select (Center) and Menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.

When watching shows from my itunes with apple tv I can watch one show, but as soon as I try and watch a second it won't load.

I just got my first apple tv. It streams netflix beautifully and connected to my network and computer quickly. Currently the bulk of my itunes library is on a PC, so I am attempting to stream from that. I can watch a show or an episode of a tv show just fine, but when I try and watch the second I get the spinning wheel and nothing loads. If I reset my apple tv and then turn home sharing off and on again I can watch another episode. I disabled my firewall and my anti virus on my desktop to see if that was the problem, still I am watching one episode at a time. HELP!
