WCCP redirection in 3750 bad rcv id error

I am attempting to sample a test deployment of WSA S170 with WCCP redirection using a CAT 3750-X.I have defined a custom service group as that of 91for redirecting HTTP and HTTPS traffic from my end user's subnets.I am repeatedly receiving an error as follows:-
WCCP-EVNT:D91: HIA from 12.12.12.12 with bad rcv_id:76/0
The CAT switch is running IOS 12.2(44)SE and the WSA is running an OS version of 7.1.3.Is it a bug on the provided version IDs/model number.Thank you in advance for your co-operation.

I've seen those errors before and they were typically resolved with an upgrade on the switch.
Can you also provide the output on the switch? show run | include wccp
I don't believe there is a really clean answer to this. You can take a look at the WCCP logs on the WSA by enabling the logging level to debug (for proxylog), then tailing it from the CLI.
You may also do a packet capture at the WSA and filter for 'udp port 2048' (no quotes) to see the WCCP packets to see if you can find anything wrong (look at the Here I Am and I See You packets). But from the error you provided, I believe you will not see any I See You packets.
If you do not find anything obvious in those, I'd recommend you open up a TAC case. To be quite honest, I think this is a switch issue. But if you feel it is an error on the WSA's end, you can pursue that route as well.

WCCP Redirection not happening on 3750

I have a problem with WCCP redirection on a 3750 switch. hardware and IOS versions are listed as supporting WCCPv2. WAE configured at a core site and at the remote site. "ip wccp 62 redirect in" configured on the interfaces at each end connected to the WAN link. A WAE is directly connected to the WCCP switch at each end. Traffic is successfully being optimised when ssh to the remote site WAE itself (can see in sh tfo conn summ) but traffic coming from remote site clients does not appear to be getting redirected at the remote site. "ip wccp 61 redirect in" configured on vlan int didn't work and also have tried setting up the int as L3 and configured the same on physical int but still not redirecting. Looks like the traffic from the client IS being redirected at core site though, since we are seeing the traffic in "show tfo conn summ" on the core WAE but it is listed under pass through. Also getting PT no peer for this traffic. Nothing showing up from clients on the remote site WAE unfortunately.
If anyone has some ideas on how to resolve this please advise.

double checked my configs and found it was hash instead of mask. now all working OK...
Takes a little time to negotiate before the services become "usable" and even when you set it to hash it still comes up as usable so was a bit misleading. We were also using wrong SDM template (which I noticed yesterday in the logging and fixed).

HAP_DOCUMENT BSP redirect using the BADI HRHAP00_BSP_TMPL

Hi all,
Below is my issue:
Last year, We have modified the BSP HAP_DOCUMENT by copying it to Y_HAP_DOCUMENT. Now we had to make further changes to the BSP which had to be template specific.
So we used the BADI HRHAP00_BSP_TMPL to redirect the document to a new BSP Y_HAP_DOCUMENT_V1.
The iviews are pointing to the BSP Y_HAP_DOCUMENT, but when the BADI is hit its getting redirected to the V1 BSP.
But the issue is that whenever the redirect BSP is used, the error messages are getting killed.
Please let me know if anyone had a similar issue and if they were able to solve the issue.

Sorry that i got back to you this late. Have you solved the issue?
whenever we redirect using the badi for hap_document the control starts from layout_alternative.htm view instead of the layout_sap_standard.htm. So if you copy paste the code from the sap standard view you will be able to redirect it.

Wccp redirection for waas on same platform as wccp for websense?

just wondering if anyone knows if a Cisco router or switch can handle wccp redirection enabled for both waas and some other web content filtering appliance using a different service group?
seems like the priority value would come into play determining which service group gets handled first?
we currently do WCCP for WaaS on our 3945s.
I am going to advocate to my customer that we separate this out for CPU load issues, config complexity issues, IOS issues, etc... but the question is going to come up - "can we do WCCP for different applications on our Catalyst 3750 core switch, or our 3945 WAN routers?"

Hi Paul,
Yes, it's technically possible to have WCCP redirection for several services even in those devices that don't support setting the priority. However, in this case, both WAAS and Websense need to redirect HTTP traffic, and that's what makes things complicated.
Assuming you first want to send the traffic to Websense and then to WAAS, I would recommend doing the WAAS redirection only on the WAN link (with one service inbound and the other outbound). You can then configure Web-cache redirection inbound on the client vlan and, a service for the return traffic (I'm not sure if this is required for websense), inbound on the interface where the WAE is connected (with a redirect-list to match only the return direction)
Even if it's possible to have both redirections in the same device, if possible, I would strongly suggest you to either use different devices for the redirection or to make them mutually exclusive (for example, not sending HTTP to WAAS), otherwise, if you make a small mistake with the configuration, you can end up with a redirection loop.

The Parameter is not defined in the form.. But, this form is already been compiled and deployed.. I have to make some changes to the form and tried to compile it, when i am getting this error. I still get the same error. But I have figured out what is wrong. Just in case other users encounter the same errors, here's what I did:
I created a tnsnames.ora file in my TIMESTEN_HOME/network/admin that has the connection info to testenv Oracle instance. +(i dont know if this is necessary)+. Then:

portlet. However, in campus i had same problem today.
So, like i said, the situation is changing due to unknown reason.
From portlet, i clicked on any course, i get blank screen with followingaddress in web browser address bar.

The command that seems to be causing problems for Exchange is this one:
A4 APPEND "Sakai-Dev List" (\Deleted \Seen NonJunk) "21-Aug-2007 16:37:20 -0400" {7024+}
As far as I can see, there's nothing wrong with the syntax of that command.
My first guess is that Exchange is unhappy with the flags. Possibly
it refuses to append a message with the \Deleted flag set. If you're
willing to modify the flags in the source mailbox, I would try turning
off the DELETED flag. Or, try not copying deleted messages.
If that doesn't work, the next thing to try is to get rid of all of the
flags. You might want to copy the message into a local copy
in order to lose all the flags from the original.

RFC call from Delphi (Bad Variant Type error)

Well, I'm trying to call an RFC function from Delphi via ActiveX objects..
I have Codegear 2009 installed and it works without any problem..
But on another system with Delphi7 installed when I ran same code it gives "Bad Variant Type" error when assigning SapLogonControl's connection object to SapFunction's connection parameter... Both computers have same SAP installation. And on both systems ActiveX objects imported correctly on Delphi.

As I said while Codegear 2009 runs this code without any problem, Delphi 7 crashes on that assignment.. Also I tried outside Delphi, and the file compiled with Codegear works on both systems while the file compiled with Delphi 7 again crashes on buth systems...
Is there a problem with Delphi 7? Should I use at least Delphi 8 or something for compiling?

You must use Non-Unicode RFC library for Delphi 7.0.

Bad Image Data Error!

Hi,
I'm doing a project for a my class doing a simple sunrise/sunset program. I've noticed that if I either create simple images in fireworks and import them, or even images form the web, I get an error message saying "Bad Image Data Error!" and all the images turn to red squares.
Any ideas of how to fix this? I don't want to have create images in flash.

Oh and I forgot to add....I've experience this problem on both CS3 & CS4. Tried it on my desktop and laptop, both are Windows 7 64bit.

Bad class file error

I set my java home to JDK 1.4 and execute my build.It is ok.
Then i try the same by setting JDK 1.5 as java home. build is ok.
But now i need to use only JDK 1.4.So i set my java home as jdk 1.4 and try to execute the build.xml
Now i got the error of class file has wrong version 49.0, should be 48.0
I understand that the class files(49.0) which are created by JDK 1.5 and i try to execute those by JDK 1.4.
But i donot knwo how to solve this.
Will anybody please help me to solve?

I didnot compile java files with JDK 1.4 and 1.5 both.
First time i use JDk 1.4. for all java files
Second time i use JDk 1.5 for all java files.
Finally i should use JDK 1.4. So i come to jdk 1.4 and set java home jdk 1.4 and exucute my build.xml. Then i got the bad class file error.
Can u help me at this point?

Does introducing WCCP redirect for WAAS disrupt Netflow information?

Before installing WAAS and WCCP redirect on some 6500 interfaces in our data center, those interfaces showed Netflow flows for users at a remote location accessing servers at our data center. Now with WCCP redirecting that traffic to the WAEs, I notice the only netflow flows for that remote location are UDP flows and some ICMP stuff.
Is this an unintended consequence of installing WAAS - that netflow statistics are going to be skewed by not showing flows that are now accelerated?

I believe your problem may be due to the fact that you are redirecting http
based traffic per the ACL configuration. The sup720 uses wccp v2 as a default
version,however, the Sup720 does NOT support the hardware-based redirection for the TCP port 80 when we enable wccpv2.

Here are some pre-RCU-run you can perform:
1) Check if you service is up and running.
2) Try to connect to the DB separately using a tool/IDE like SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Toad, etc.
3) Try to run RCU from a different machine. May be there are some Port conflicts.

Can't add movie file / bad movie atom error

Hello,
I'm having a very strange problem. I just started within the last few days trying to organize an Itunes movie database so that I could see all of my movies streamed over my Apple TV. Most of the movie files I have been able to add with no issue, aside from the fact that they always initially get added to the "Home Movies" folder and then I have to move them into the other movie category. So then I come to one of my files which is a rip of one of my BluRay movies. It is in MP4 format, so that should be no issue. I was initially able to add the movie, and it did appear in the Itunes Home Movies section. But I didn't like the way the file was named, and I wanted to add the poster art. I right clicked and went to change what I wanted, the first being the name of the movie. Well prior to me changing the name of the movie, I had the tab option where you could add the movie art. As soon as I changed the file name, that tab went away. Well, I figured maybe I should delete the movie out of the Itunes database and try to re-add it.
Well from this point it's been downhill. Every time I try to add the file back in, it won't appear in Itunes. I then tried playing the file in VLC player, and the file appears to open, and the ticker is moving along, but there is no video or sound. Now this file played just fine before I tried to move it to Itunes. I then tried playing it via Quicktime and I get some weird -2002 bad movie atom error. What the heck is going on! I have searched the net on this error, and the fixes seem to be all over the place, and none of them have worked for me. One thread talked about the tags somehow being changed, but I cannot figure out what tags people are talking about or how to fix this. If anyone has a solution to this I would greatly appreciate that. thanks.

It is against the rules of the forum to discuss extracting from film blu rays. Blu rays used for data storage fine.
I am sure there are plenty of sites out there that can advise on the correct steps to take here.

Apply WCCP redirect to logical or physical interface?

If there is a logical subinterface configured under its physical interface (for example serial0/0/0.100 for routing), I should apply WCCP redirect (ip wccp 62 redirect in) to the logical interface, not the physical interface. Is that correct?

"Bad image format" error when displaying an image on Nokia 6600

I get a "bad image format" error when I try and display an image on a Nokia 6600 cellphone. The image displays correctly when I run it on the J2ME 2.1 Emulator, but gives an error on the phone. Plz help!!

More info please... what kind of an image are you trying to display?
