Web Deploy error - "This method is not supported by this class"

I have an MVC project which I am trying to deploy to one of our internally-hosted web front end servers via a TFS build process. Our server hosts the MS Deploy service, and other solutions deploy without problems to the same box. The parameters for the build
process are as follows:
/p:DeployOnBuild=True /p:DeployTarget=MsDeployPublish /p:MSDeployPublishMethod=WMSVC /p:MsDeployServiceUrl=https://<server>:8172/msdeploy.axd /p:DeployIISAppPath="<internal.site.com>" /p:username=<username> /p:password=<password>
/p:IncludeIisSettingsOnPublish=false /p:AllowUntrustedCertificate=True /p:OutputPath=bin\ /p:SkipExtraFilesOnServer=True /p:VisualStudioVersion=11.0
The error message I receive at the point the build reaches the deployment activity is:
Web deployment task failed. (Could not complete the request to remote agent URL 'https://<server>:8172/msdeploy.axd?site=<internal.site.com>'.)
Could not complete the request to remote agent URL 'https://<server>:8172/msdeploy.axd?site=<internal.site.com>'.
The request was aborted: The request was canceled.
This method is not supported by this class.
We've found
this StackOverflow post which describes the same error we're experiencing, however the suggested solution is something we already do in our server configuration, so this doesn't resolve the issue for us.
Has anyone seen this error before, or is able to make any suggestions why it is happening?

Hi Matt,
You have to have a look in the build log then copy the command that is under Run MSBuild node and executed it on the build agent.
You should find something like below:

We are running WL6.0sp1 on Win2000. When we try to open a JSP page which calls

Normally when you get this error, your username/password is not correct.
It's not a clean way of errorhandling. I have had the same issue and after a while i noticed the password i entered was not correct.

I have just purchased a lightning to 30 pin adaptor to use on an iPad mini and a gen5 iPod touch both devices are running iOS 8.1.3 and come up with The error message "this accessory is not supported by this device "
THis is means they are not charging on a 30 pin cable and the touch won't work in my Apple iPod dock - no audio out or charge. Have re powered both devices to no avail am wondering if the iOS version is the problem
    Help!

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.
This is lightning to 30 pin adapter: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Apple%26%23174%3B---Lightning-to-30-Pin-Adapter/6651 936.p?id=1218803450821&skuId=6651936#tab=overview
    Is this what you bought?
You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

    Hi,
Which version of Photoshop Elements are you trying to install?
Are you installing from DVD or a download?
If DVD, make sure you are using the Windows one, not the MAC one.
What device are you trying to install on?
Does your system meet the required spec?
Are you on Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

/usr/ccs/bin/as: Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 Compiler Common 6.2 Solaris_9_CBE 2001/04/02Note that the last 2 lines seem to suggest that a Sun assembler is used as the back-end of gcc. I am not sure whether the failure to compile the first file (with __thread) was due to the incompatibility of this Sun assembler. In the first case, the error msg was emitted before these 2 lines are printed.
I further read a post about gcc 3.3.3's inability to compile code that has __thread in it, on a HP-UX 11.11: http://forums12.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?admit=109447627+1216595175060+28353475&threadId=1148976 The conclusion seems to suggest that "the 2.17 GNU assembler did not support thread local storage" and gcc sees that and thus disallows TLS.
If the assembler is the culprit, then does anyone know whether this "Sun WorkShop 6 update 2" assembler in my installation can work with TLS? And how come a Sun assembler becomes the back-end of gcc? I read that gas (the GNU assembler) is the default backend of gcc. (How) can one specify the assembler to be used for gcc?
As an aside, I am able to compile my file on this same Solaris 9/UltraSparc platform using the Sun Studio 12 C Compiler:
    xz@gamera% cc -V -# -D_REENTRANT  -c -o func_stack.o func_stack.c

Just as another comparison, I compiled a file without __thread on the Solaris 9/UltraSparc platform using gcc 4.0.4. Not surprisingly it worked. But I no longer see the mention of the Sun assembler as in the case of gcc 3.4.4. Nor did I see the mention of "GNU assembler" as in the case of gcc 4.0.4/Solaris 10/x86. Instead, I saw something called "iropt" and "cg". Does anyone know what they are?

    - Try restoring the iPod, first from backup and then try to factory settings/new iPod to rule out a software problem.
    - Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and broken or cracked plastic.
    - Could you have damaged something when you took the iPod apart and replaced the Home button?

  • After iOS 8 update: "This accessory is not supported by this iPad" using Digital AV Adapter on iPad 2

After the update to iOS 8 on an iPad 2 I receive the error: "This accessory is not supported by this iPad" using a digital AV adapter. It works for about 20 seconds before I get the error. Same adapter worked with iOS 7.1, same adapter still works on my iPhone 4s with iOS 7.1.
Curious if anyone else has this issue. The adapter is not a genuine Apple adapter, so I think I'll just buy an official Apple adapter, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has upgraded to iOS 8 and can still use their digital AV adapter on iOS 8 with iPad 2, and what brand of adapter you have. Thanks!

Still not working. My adapter shows as an apple A1422. I can successfully plug it in to an iPad 2 with an older IOS but mine which is on 8.1.2, gives the error "This accessory is not supported by this iPad." I tried turning off the iPad and connecting it to the tv before turning it on. When it is turned on, it displays on the tv for a moment, then the message pops up and no picture is on the tv any longer. Clicking ok does not change the lack of a picture On the tv, but I can use the iPad as normal.
I've tried the adapter on a different iPad 2 that is not on IOS 8 and no message appears.
    Help, please!

That message basically just means that Apple wishes you would only buy Apple products for your Apple products . I get that message all the time with my iPod dock. Just click OK and move on. As for the audio player - it may be broken.

  • This accessory is not supported by this iPhone

I have a Sony personal audio docking systyem RDP-XF100IP and all of a sudden when I place my iPhone 4s into the station to listen to music I get a popup saying that this accessory is not supported by this iPhone.  I have had the system for quite a few months and never had a problem before.  I have tried cleaning the connecttors on the system and phone but still get the message.  When I place the phone into the system it does start chargeing it though so it is getting a connection.  Any ideas?

    I only could imagine that:
    Your radio isn't licensed
Your radio doesn't supports your iOS
