can anyone help me on this? i create a client that is going to call a web service. now, i have erro exception saying that javax.xml.rpc.ServiceFactoryImpl can not be found. it happens when the execution reaches
//code..................................
ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
the following is my code to invoke a web service:
//code................................................
private void sendOrder(String orderid, String message)
throws ClassNotFoundException, SQLException{
// Setup the global JAX-RPC service factory
try{
System.setProperty( "javax.xml.rpc.ServiceFactory",
"com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactoryImpl");
// create service factory
ServiceFactory factory = ServiceFactory.newInstance();
// define qnames
String targetNamespace = "http://www.wowgao.com/exchange/server"
+ "wsdl/";
QName serviceName = new QName(targetNamespace,
"WGOrder.WGOrderBean");
QName portName = new QName(targetNamespace,
"WGOrderPort");
QName operationName = new QName("urn:WGOrder", "orderSubmit");
// create service
Service service = factory.createService(serviceName);
// create call
Call call = service.createCall();
// set port and operation name
call.setPortTypeName(portName);
call.setOperationName(operationName);
// add parameters
call.addParameter("BuyerID",
new QName("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema", "string"),
ParameterMode.IN);
call.addParameter("SellerID",
new QName("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema", "string"),
ParameterMode.IN);
call.addParameter("order",
new QName("http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema", "string"),
ParameterMode.IN);
call.setReturnType(new QName( "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema","long") );
// set end point address
call.setTargetEndpointAddress("http://www.xmethods.com:9090/soap");
// invoke the remote web service
String result = (String)call.invoke(operationName, new Object[]{"123","234",message});
how do i set the com.sun.xml.rpc.client.ServiceFactor so that it know where to find the class?

It sounds like a classpath problem. Try adding JWSDP_HOME/common/lib/jaxrpc-ri.jar to the client's classpath.

    If you are using JBoss.4.2.3.GA - you will need to
    * Download the latest commons-discovery.jar file from : http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/commons-discovery/jars
    * Copy the JAR file to the following folder:
    o For a nonclustered environment:JBOSS_HOME\server\default\lib
    o For a clustered environment:JBOSS_HOME\server\all\lib
    * Re-start the Application server

    Try the Firefox SafeMode. <br />
    ''A troubleshooting mode, which disables most Add-ons.'' <br />
    ''(If you're not using it, switch to the Default Theme.)''
    # You can open the Firefox 4.0 SafeMode by holding the '''Shft''' key when you use the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
    # Or use the Help menu item, click on '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled...''' while Firefox is running. <br />
    ''To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the Firefox shortcut (without the Shft key) to open it again.''
    If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

  • Trouble Publishing a Web Service in Rich Client

    I have been working on trying to create a web service in Rich Client and keep getting this blank window.I'm not sure what the problem is but one thing that I notice about this window is the Java logo on the top left.I tried uninstalling and downgrading my Java but that didn't help. I currently have Java build 1.6.0_45-b06 installed. My Rich Client version is 12.5.3 with the 1475 build. I believe it is software related because I had a coworker try and us his user name and passowrd on my computer with his administrator account and he was getting this window as well.
    Another problem I am having is getting the Web Services to refresh. There are times when it will just say "Refreshing, please wait...". When I click the refresh button will attempt to refresh for a half a second and then stop.
    Best,
    Ryan

    Hi Ryan,
    Will you please provide the details of BO server version? And for java and software related queries please review your configurations with PAM (Product Availability Matrix) available at SAP marketplace.

  • Project Server 2010 Web services access with Client Certificate Authentication

    We switched our SharePoint/Project Server 2010 farm to use client certificate authentication with Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) 2.0, which is working without issue. We have some administrative Project Server Interface (PSI)
    web service applications that no longer connect to server with the new authentication configuration.  Our custom applications are using the WCF interface to access the public web services.
    Please let us know if it is possible to authenticate with AD FS 2.0 and then call
    Project Server web services. Any help or coding examples would be greatly appreciated.

    what is the error occurred when the custom PSI app connects?
    can you upload the ULS logs here for research?
    What is the user account format you specified in the code for authentication?
    For proper authorization, the “user logon account” in PWA for the user needs to be changed from domain\username to the claims token (e.g.
    'I:0#.w|mybusinessdomain\ewmccarty').
    It requires you to manually call the UpnLogon method of
    “Claims to Windows Token Service”. if (Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity is ClaimsIdentity)
    {  var identity = (ClaimsIdentity)Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity;  }
    if (Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity is ClaimsIdentity)
    var identity = (ClaimsIdentity)Thread.CurrentPrincipal.Identity;
    Than you need to extract UPN-Claim from the identity.
    Upload the verbose log if possible.

  • LR4 Flickr plug-in 'could not contact Flickr web service' - has nobody solved this problem?

    G'day All,
    I know i'm not alone. LR4 is now telling me it cannot update (Re-Publish) images successfully uploaded only an hour before via the native Lightroom publishing service.
    Here's the plug-in diagnostic:
    Plug-in error log for plug-in at: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.1\Flickr.lrplugin
    **** Error 1
    This plug-in’s post-processing task did not finish successfully.
    Could not contact the Flickr web service. Please check your Internet connection.
    There are a couple of other discussions of the same issue on this forum, dating back to 2010, and, as far as I can see, no resolution to date.
    Am I wrong?
    I know there's the other guy's plugin, but everyone with the same problem reports no change if they switch to that. I'm signed in without problems to Flickr via both IE and FF, and the Flickr Uploadr connects just fine. I'm at work, and am hardly in a position to be tweaking modem packet-handling, (not that I'd be inclined to anyway!)
    Flickr is hardly obscure - it's the biggest, most successful photo-sharing service on the web. Is there a solution I haven't spotted? If not, surely a solution is overdue?
    regards,
    Bill

    G'day Rob,
    I've installed the Friedl plugin, but the problem is I have 50 images I'm looking to republish - specifically only to update the captions - whereas the new plugin will naturally want me to republish (all over again) the entire set of photos.
    I've just tried republishing 3 of them all over again with full captions via the Friedl plugin and it worked fine - looks like I'll have to delete the original lot if I want to have fully-captioned versions and use the Freidl plug-in from now on!
    Think I'll just fiddle with the captions of the originals online, and use the Friedl plug-in for future uploads.
    Dear Adobe - could the bug in the original, native publishing service be fixed, please? As Alan states above, we currently potentially have people wandering around playing with systems registeries and modem packet-handling and firewalls because the software is making incorrect reports of connection status, when, in fact, the Adobe Flickr plug-in simply can't handle multiple-paragraphs in captions!
    And if you've found this, Dear Reader, because the LR4 (or LRx) Flickr publishing service is telling you you can't connect to Flickr - don't tweak anything! First check if you have entered captions on your photos that contain paragraphs - i.e. carriage or hard-returns so that they appear broken into readable chunks just as this post does - because that's probably the problem. Simplify - to one line - a caption on the next photo or two due to be uploaded to check, and, if that works, and you want to have full captions, try the Friedl plugin!
    Thanks to all for your help.
    Bill

  • Authenticating to weblogic web service using a client cert with webserver

    I am trying to think of how to authenticate a client to a weblogic web service
    using a client certificate. The wrinkle is that a Web Server (iis or whatever)
    will be handling the ssl part and forwarding non-secure to weblogic. The cert
    will still be accessable in the request using: HttpServletRequest req.getAttribute("javax.net.ssl.peer_certificates).
    At this point it is not clear to me what I can do. When does CertAuthenticator
    get called? Can I even use it? Will I have to write my own version of the weblogic.soap.server.servlet.StatelessBeanAdapter
    class?
    Any help will be appreciated, even explaining why it can't be done.

  • Problem in invoking a secure weblogic web service from javaws client

    Hi all,
    the situation is this: there is a secure web service (Wssp1.2-2007-Wss1.1-X509-Basic256.xml policy) which is accessed by a stand-alone remote web service client (swing-enabled) which is initiated via java web start. You'll probably wondering why this is a special case. Let me elaborate...
    The first step was to develop the service and the client. This wasn't much of a trouble, since the documentation was very good apart from creating a ClientBSTCredentialProvider object at the client side. The documentation should explicitly state that the sixth argument, that of the server certificate, is required! In any case, the first step was a success and the invocation was encrypted and signed at the message level.
    The second step was to create a stand-alone remote client, without any local weblogic installation. That was a bit of a problem, since wlfullclient.jar or wseeclient.jar or weblogic.jar were not enough. I should note that the client was created via netbeans 7.0 and not with the help of weblogic clientgen. So, I had to make a verbose run from netbeans, in order to enumerate the jars which are accessed and gather them into the same directory. That was OK too. The standalone client works just fine.
    The third step is to simply (not so simply...) make a java web start version of the client. Since the previous step was a success (having all necessary jars in the same directory) this one should not be a problem. Well... that turned out to be a huge issue. What I get back as the error message (shown in the java web start console) is this:

    The two invocations (one using java and the other using javaws) should obviously have not differences at all since all resources (jars) are the same.
    I have tried all client jar combinations (with wlfullclient.jar, wseeclient.jar, weblogic.jar) and the result is the same. One additional piece of information is that when removing all security parameters (message level encryption and signing) from the web service the java web start client works just fine!!!
    This is not an issue of additional jars that somehow mess with weblogic jars, since the same error occurs even in the basic hello world web service.
    I wonder if someone has faced the same problem. I would really really appreciate any help. Thank you in advance and keep up the good work.
    Cheers,
    Paul.

    Hi Kal,
    since we're currently evaluating the software and haven't acquired a license, we cannot contact support.
    I only need to know if this is a solved bug or not. Does it have to do with the classloading process (I cannot think of anything else)?
    Thank you again very very much!
    Cheers,
    Paul.

  • Web service client invoke problem

    Hi all,I want to in sap studio to develop web service client to invoke a .net webservice,this webservice  need authen ,so I develop a standandalone proxy to write a consle to invoke my code.
    The follwoing is my invoke  code
    public class WebServiceTest {
         public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
              GetScaVersion parameter = new GetScaVersion();
              ManagementSoap port = new ManagementImpl().getLogicalPort();
                        port._setProperty(port.USERNAME_PROPERTY,"administrator");
                        port._setProperty(port.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,"administrator");
              GetUserList list=new GetUserList();
              GetScaVersionResponse response= port.getScaVersion(parameter);
              System.out.println(response.getGetScaVersionResult());
              System.out.println(response.getAErrorMsg());
    But final I got the following errors,
    Warning ! Protocol Implementation [com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.wsdl2java.features.builtin.MessageIdProtocol] could not be loaded (NoClassDefFoundError) !
    Error Message is :com/sap/guid/GUIDGeneratorFactory
    null
    Invalid UserName and Password
    so I just want to ask ,if the webservice is need to authen,does the following tow senteces works for authenciation ?
      port._setProperty(port.USERNAME_PROPERTY,"administrator");
      port._setProperty(port.PASSWORD_PROPERTY,"administrator");

    Hi,
    You need to set the credentials of the .net user.
    Also, which type of proxy have you created? Are you able to open the wsdl in the browser?.
    Thanks,
    Vasu

  • Getting .ServiceException while invoking a web service from a client

    I created a web service and then created a web service client from wsdl in eclipse. I am getting the following error when trying to call the web service from client.

                System.out.println(response.getNumberTraded());
            } catch(Exception e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
    }How to solve the stub implementation error?
    Edited by: 901007 on 12 Aug, 2012 10:57 AM

    That did not work either. There was getPorts() and not getPort() and I used getPorts(). And I am getting the below error,
    java.lang.ClassCastException: java.util.HashMap$KeyIterator
    But when I try like the below,
        @WebServiceRef(wsdlLocation="http://localhost:7001/webservice/services/TraderBean?wsdl")
        String url = "http://localhost:7001/webservice/services/TraderBean?wsdl";
        QName qname = new QName("http://statelessSession.basic.ejb20.ejb.examples", "TraderBeanService");
                TraderBeanServiceLocator service = new TraderBeanServiceLocator();
                TraderBean port = (TraderBean) service.getPort(TraderBean.class);
                System.out.println("Invoking the sayHello operation on the port.");
                TradeResult response = port.buy("INR", 200);
                System.out.println(response.getNumberTraded());I am getting the below error,
    Invoking the sayHello operation on the port.
    AxisFault
    faultCode: {http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/}Server.userException
    faultSubcode:
    faultString: java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean

    faultDetail:
         {http://xml.apache.org/axis/}hostname:Gopi_Desktop
    java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    As you can see the statement"Invoking the sayHello operation on the port." is getting printed but after that error is thrown.
    I tried changing it to, TraderBean port = (TraderBean) service.getPort(qname, TraderBeanServiceLocator.class);
    But even this is throwing the same error, java.lang.InstantiationException: examples.ejb.ejb20.basic.statelessSession.TraderBean
    I changed my webservice using Axis2 web service runtime and this time when I try to invoke using client, I am getting the following,
    [WARN] Weblogic's StAX implementation is unsupported and some Axiom features will not work as expected! Please use Woodstox instead.

    If you need more details, I can post the steps I did to build it...
    Any help is greately appreciated.

  • Invoking a web service through a client

    According to examples on e-docs.bea.com , a client is invoking a web service by writing a build.xml for itself and then deploying his code.It seems funny that a client is first deploying his code through ant to generate stubs and then invoking the web service.please let me know if there is any other way to call a web service??

    using the file adaptor i am able to read files from the local file system...
    my problem is i am uploading files thru multipart request...now i have this file availaible to me in the servlet which is processing the multipart request and calling the axis web service client...
    how do i pass this file thru the file adaptor to the payload...?
