Weblogic 6.1 sp2 Connection Pool will not connect to oci901 driver

ok, I am trying to get weblogic to connect to the connection pool in solaris. I created
the pool in the console with the following:
URL = jdbc:weblogic:oracle
Driver Class Name = weblogic.jdbc.oci.Driver
Properties = user=sa password=*****
I also set the LD_LIBRARY PATH as directed.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/wlserver6.1/lib/solaris/oci901_8:ORACLE/lib
Oracle is on a seperate box then the box that Weblogic is installed on so I think
the problem is in my LD_LIBRARY_PATH. Here is the error I am getting. Any help
would be appreciated.

I have the following setup.
For QA, 1 IIS Server (using plug-in from 6.1 SP2) forwarding all request
to a
cluster on the backend. (2 Physical Servers, 4 JVM's). I do have a firewall
in
between the IIS Server & the backend servers.
According to the docs, the IIS plug-in is supposed to establish a connection
pool
to the backend. I do not see this behavior.
I see a connection created/close per request.
So , I have 2 questions:
1. Does the IIS Plug-in use connection Pooling, Do you have to enable
it ?
2. How do I control the pool size ?
Thanks in advance,
TimDoes anyone from BEA monitor this newsgroup ?
I have also opened up a case (1 week old) with tech support and still do not have
an answer. This is very frustrating considering the cost of owning this environment.

Certain wifi's will not work on my iPad, it shows it's connected but will not connect.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

• BEFW11S4 Problems - Says connected but will not connect to Internet

Hello, everyone, I have one desktop hooked up to a BEFW11S$ router. I also have another desktop and a notebook running off of it. The main one, as well as the other desktop work perfectly fine, while the other desktop is just a bit on the slow side, but the laptop, which says it is connected will not connect to any form of internet, whether it be IE or MSN. I'm not sure, but I think the connection between the computers needs re-establishing. Though I have no idea how to go about doing this... Any help? T.T

Hi… I would suggest you to delete preferred wireless networks on your wireless laptop, and then try to reconnect to the wireless network. Also check what ip address you are getting, is it a valid ip address from the router. Try deleting cookies in internet explorer. Then check the connection. You cannot change anything on the router because other two computers are working fine.

• Airport shows being connected but will not connect to internet

Airport will not connect to internet yet shows me as connected.
When and if I do get connected, I will loose the connection and unable to access the internet.
This has happened using several different wireless locations.
Please help as to what my settings should be or how to correct the problem

What debugging steps have you taken?
Connecting to your wireless network and connecting to the Internet are two different parts of the connection process.
If you open your Network preferences panel does it show you have an IP address of the form 169.x.x.x?

• IPad will not connect to wifi, shows connection, iPad will not connect to wifi, shows connection

My iPad will not connect to wifi, even though my computer is currently connected. Airport mode is off, and my iPad shows connectivity in the corner. Is there any way to fix this without completely resetting the device?

- Reset the iPad. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPad: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router.
- Reset networks settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
Does the iPad successfully connect to other networks?
Did it successfully connect to this network before?

• Everyday when I open Firefox a msg come on the screen that says "It is stronly recommended that you apply this update for Firefox ASAP." The connectivity server will not connect. Is there some way to disable this request?

Everyday when I open Firefox a msg comes on the screen that says "It is strongly recommended that you apply this update for Firefox ASAP. When I try to install, it will not connect to the connecting server so it just clocks forever.

See:
* http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update (Software Update not working properly)
Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.
You may need to delete active-update.xml and updates.xml as well if present.
XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates
(%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox)
If you have problems with updating then easiest is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
You may need to remove the Firefox program folder to do a clean install of the new version.
Do a clean (re-)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* Firefox 4.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Do not remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

• Network says I'm connected but will not connect to internet

My iMac (2007 w/OSX 10.6.8, 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB) suddenly stopped connecting to the Internet even though it says "airport is connected & Ethernet is connected" I spent and hour + with tech support from Our ISP, took it to the local Athorized Mac seller I bought it from and it worked fine with their connection. also all other computers in our home work fine from my iPad to ROKU. is ther a way of removing previous network settings and then running the setup help from scratch? It just doesn't make sence, some times a RSS will open without any pictures but when I try to go to one the links I get the same old "You are not connected to the Internet and the Network Diagnostics... Button appears. Trying to go to any regular web page never works BTW I always get the previous mentioned message. thank you for reading and I hope someone can help me fix this what I think is a simple but out of my realm of ability to fix and I don't want to make it worse !

I have tried resetting network settings, resetting the phone and the PC, uninstalling iTunes, turning off the firewall and has no luck

Do this. Go to Apple menu / System Preferences / Network.

give it the arguments to connect to the same DBMS with

• Using Windows 7, i-tunes will not connect to i-tunes store. How do I fix this?

Using my desktop with Windows 7, my iTunes will not connect to the iTuens store. All other functions of iTunes works great. I have all other programs that require internet working just fine..ie browsers (IE, FireFox or Chrome, and all email services) and all work normal.
I updated iTunes to current version as of today April 6, 2012 and now it does not work going to the iTunes Store.
I have about 6-8 different Apple devices that use this iTunes, but right now, none of these are connected with my iTunes, as I was just going in to do some music shopping first before connecting any of them to my PC.
How do I fix this?
Thanks in advance for any and all helpful information!
Angie

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

• Imac will not connect to Airport Extreme when configured WPA/WPA2

Imac will not connect to Airport Extreme when configured WPA/WPA2
Posted: Jul 5, 2007 8:22 PM Reply
I just got my Imac to connect to the internet using my Airport Extreme but only by using WEP. I had my Windows XP SP2 machines connecting using WPA/WPA2 with no problem. The Imac will not connect using anything other than WEP, and 1 of the XP machines will not connect using WEP.(I have not tried the other XP machines) I had to set the Airport Extreme for an open network in order to let both computers access the shared hard drive and access the internet.
I don't know what the problem might be and would appreciate any suggestions.
MacBookPro, Imac Mac OS X (10.3.9) Fujitsu tablet PC, 2 XP desktops

hehe...on the visuals. I figured it out already, and I have the old airport card. However, I did a chat with Apple support and while we were chatting I found a USB adapter with MAC drivers which will work. It is:
Hawking Technology HWUG1A Wireless-G USB Adapter with Removable Antenna for Macintosh
Manufacturer Part# HWUG1A
That is the only adapter that actually does WPA/WPA2 that I can find that is for a Mac and not just an older USB that only does WEP. It surprises me that Apple does not have a USB product like this. Anyway, for $56 including shipping, I will have it by Monday or Tuesday. Pretty cool.
Thank you so much for your assistance. It is appreciated.

• Wireless Printer Will Not Connect To Any Machine

Okay so just want to start out saying any help is appreciated, haven't used a forum before so hoping for any answers.
I have a HP Photosmart 5510 All in One B111a printer
Trying to connect to 2 laptops 1 Win7 64 bit - 1 Windows XP Professional SP2
I have had the printer for around a month - Set it up on my Win7 laptop no problem, needed to connect to the Win XP laptop, and after turning it on it will not connect to either randomly
It seems so far that the printer is connected to the network according to what it says, and both laptops install the software okay but when searching for the printer neither can find it, it then resorts to searching via IP where it still cannot find it.
So far I have attempted to reset defaults on printer, reset network defaults on printer, change the IP address, update the IP address, reinstall the software, reinstall the driver, install the full feature installation package, the network diag tool, it cannot seem to find the printer at all even though on the printer screen it states it's connected to the network fine.
It works fine through a cable and at one point i made a WPS connection via my Win7 laptop but couldn't really figure out what to do next and if it would help my situation so disconnected.
I don't know whether this is down to some stupid mistake I've made/something basic I've missed (it's my first printer) or an actual problem
Please help!

• Remote app on my iphone 5 will not connect to itunes

The remote app stopped working on my iphone 5 and will not connect to itunes. Home sharing is on on itunes and adding new library on my remote iphone app results in veryfying passcode results in the following message on itunes 'the pascode you have entered is incorrect'. I have the feeling that the library is already added but will not connect. Any suggestions are deeply appreciated!

I had the same problem. Reinstalled everything and still nothing. Came across this article:
5 Simple Tricks to Get iTunes to Recognize an iOS Device
Quit and relaunch iTunes
Connect the iOS device to a different USB port on the computer
Reboot the iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Reboot the computer
Use a different syncing cable (if possible)
I changed my syncing cable and it worked! Try that if all else is failing.
