Weblogic  does not build EJB

Hi,
I am using Weblogic 8.1.5 in my project and when ever I try to deploy my portal app, I get the error that the
"MyTaskUtil.jcx was not found". I checked my console and I found that my EJB classes are not being built when I run the portal app build. I would like to give more details but I don't know where to start.
Can anyone help me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Krishnan

I'm having the same problem. Have you managed to solve this?

  • WLS 8.1, SP1 - Weblogic does not detect my servlet class has changed

              I've come across this problem in weblogic 7.0 sp2 and 8.1 sp1 and never found the
              solution. I've asked for solution in BEA's newsgroups and official support and
              NEVER received any suitable answer. I've found other people's quesions regarding
              this problem and they didn't found an answer either. I can't believe this is not
              happenning to more people and there is not solution!!!!!!
              Sometimes (don't know when or why) when we copy our servlets developed with JBuilder
              (6, 7 or 9) or javac and ant, into our exploded archive directory application,
              weblogic does not detect the change, and it serves the the servlet's old version.
              Of course, that servlet is not included in any classpath, and even if we delete
              the class file, it still executes the old version. We even delete the .wlnotdelete
              folder under our server, temp, etc. restart the machine, etc. and it does not
              load the updated servlet.
              The only solution is to change servlet's name and the reference in our web.xml.
              That's the moment that weblogic detects changes, but, for so long? Sooner or later,
              the problem appear again... or not. WHY!!??!! What should we change/delete or
              whatever for our new servlet to be updated?
              How can I force weblogic to register again as new servlets ALL my servlets?
              Now it's even happening to a class used in a very simple tag library. CAN'T BELEIVE
              IT!!!!
              It happens in NT 4.0 and W2K Prof. It happened in Weblogic 7.0 sp2 and now in
              Weblogic 8.1 sp1. It never happened in Weblogic 5.1 sp10.
              Looking forward to hearing a solution for this.

              I too am looking for this answer.
              I did notice that the BEA Docs mention that the compiled file needs to be in WEB-INF/classes,
              and mine is in WEB-INF/lib. However, ALL the .jar files are in the LIB directory.
              My jar file is never found when it's in the classes dir....
              Please let me know if you find the solution.

  • Participant 'weblogic' does not have permissions to execute the operation ?

    Hello,
    We have modelize our Business process, this process can start with
    An Automtaic task based on an event recevied from a web services or via a start event with an iniator task.
    The deployment of this process was ok.
    But when we try to run this process in the "Business Process Workspace" we get the folowing message : "Participant 'weblogic' does not have permissions to execute the operation. "
    The users has the corresponding role of the lane so it should be right ?
    Thanks
    Grégoire.

    Hi Heidi,
    The Application list does contain the process link.
    However, in the admin role association's page, the roles of the process are not present, and as such cannot be assigned. I've tried adding a role according to the naming convention but I assume they must be associated explicitly to the process by the deployment process...
    We have loads of roles related to processses that have since been undeployed.
    So what do you advise? Should we try to undeploy and redeploy the process? This was already been done and, as far as I know, with the same result.
    Thanks
    Miguel

  • DC Builds fine on my machine. does not build on another developer's machine

    hello,
    I have a web dynpro type of development component.
    I had developed it locally on my machine. Now I checked in that DC on JDI.
    Now when another developer tries to sync and create Project for that DC on his machine, it does not build fine.
    Errors related to Mapping definitation inconsistent, missing type etc appear on his machine.
    But the DC still builds fine on my machine.
    Please see the [screenshot|http://learnsaponline.blogspot.com/2011/12/dc-does-not-build-fine-on-another.html] of the errors on the other developer's machine.
    Please suggest a solution

    hi Chris,
    Yes I am using a DC in This DC. The used DC builds fine on other developer's machine. The problem is with Using DC.
    Please suggest what changes or settings I need to do in the using DC on my machine so that the errors on other developer's machine are automatically resolved on sync.
    Thanks !

  • SJSAS 9.1 does not expose EJB 3.0 remote Interface via JNDI

    I have successfully deployed a simple Stateful EJB 3.0 bean (CartBean, like the one in the Java EE 5 tutorial remote interface Cart) on SJSAS 9.1, located on machine host1.
    After I deployed the CartBean, I browsed the SJSAS and noticed the existence of the following JNDI entries:
    ejb/Cart
    ejb/Cart__3_x_Internal_RemoteBusinessHome__
    ejb/Cart#main.Cart
    ejb/mgmt
    ejb/myOtherEJB_2_x_bean ( +myOtherEJB_2_x_bean+ is a different 2.x bean that I have deployed as well)So, I am trying to access the remote interface of the CartBean from a remote machine, host2. The client application is a Java-standalone client.
    I am using the Interoperable Naming Service syntax: corbaname:iiop:host1:3700#<JNDI name>
    The problem is that the remote interface of the bean does NOT seem to be available via JNDI. I get the javax.naming.NameNotFoundException when I try to do a lookup like:
    corbaname:iiop:host1:3700#ejb/Cart
    On the other hand, the following lookups succeed:
    corbaname:iiop:host1:3700#ejb/mgmt
    corbaname:iiop:host1:3700#myOtherEJB_2_x_bean
    and also the following succeeds:
    corbaname:iiop:host1:3700#ejb/Cart__3_x_Internal_RemoteBusinessHome__So it seems like the Remote interface is not available via JNDI, rather only some internal SJSAS implementation (the object returned from the ejb/Cart__3_x_Internal_RemoteBusinessHome__ lookup is of type: com.sun.corba.se.impl.corba.CORBAObjectImpl
    Why is this happening? I know there used to be a bug in Glassfish, but I thought it had been fixed since 2006.
    Many thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The EJB 3.0 Remote Business references are not directly stored in CosNaming. EJB 3.0 Remote references do not have the cross-vendor interoperability requirements that the EJB 2.x Remote view had.
    You can still access Remote EJB references from a different JVM as long as the client has access to SJSAS naming provider. Please see our EJB FAQ for more details :

  • WebLogic does not validate minOccurs="1" in webservices

    Hello,
    My WebService is deployed on WebLogic 10.3.3.
    WSDL/XSD describes input parameter number as mandatory:
    <xs:element minOccurs="1" maxOccurs="1" name="number" type="xs:int"/>
    MinOccurs="1" means that XML message must contain <number> tag, isn't it?
    I expect WebLogic has to validate all requests and server error response should be thrown when request is invalid.
    Unfortunatelly, my SOAP client is able to send SOAP request without <number> tag and my webservice implementation receives such an invalid request.
    Could you tell me please, is it correct behavior or is it defect in WebLogic?
    Should my webservice perform it's own XML validation?

    I added @SchemaValidation in my Java class, recompiled it and redeployed.
    Server was restarted and cache and tmp folders were deleted.
    Unfortunately, it does not work.
    Scheme validation works without @SchemaValidation if add <validate-request>true</validate-request> into weblogic-webservices.xml.
    My soap client received SOAP Fault and 500 Internal Server Error for request without mandatory tag.
    But I use weblogic.wsee.tools.anttasks.JwscTask and it generate weblogic-webservices.xml without <validate-request>.
    Therefore @SchemaValidation is the best solution for me.
    Which reasons @SchemaValidation doesn't work?

  • WLW on Linux does not build Schemas correctly

    Finally managed to get WLW to build my Schemas project without errors (there were no errors under Windows XP); however for some bizarre reason, given the following
    <pre><xs:complexType name="ErrorInfo">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="Code" type="xs:string"/>
    <xs:element name="Message" type="xs:string"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType></pre>
    when I call this method in my code, the element name "Message" has been truncated to "Msg". Again, this does not happen under Windows.
    Can anyone explain?

    Hi,
    You should be able to see the Maintainer and description fields using the command "dpkg -s adobeair" on console and by searching for adobeair package in Synaptic. Hope that helps.
    Thanks!

  • Weblogic does not recognize the classes

    I have the following problem.
              I have an application running in weblogic 8.1, this works correctly. When I copy the folder of the application and I paste in another different server weblogic 8.1 (in another PC) this does not recognize any of the classes even though the application is a faithful copy of the application that at the moment this executing itself in another server Weblogic 8.1.
              I deployed of aplication in the new server but nothing works!!
              the error is the following one:
              Compilation of 'C:\bea\WEBLOG~1\samples\domains\workshop\.\cgServer\.wlnotdelete\extract\cgServer_gar_prueba2_gar_prueba2\jsp_servlet\__login_45_proc.java' failed:

    Can you show me what the error looks like. Also are you deploying the war to the other server? If the war worked on one server it should work on the other server too.

  • Help page does not build refernce Models summary.

    Currently, we use the MVC default help page feature and enable the XMLPrvider:
    config.SetDocumentationProvider(new XmlDocumentationProvider(HttpContext.Current.Server.MapPath("~/App_Data/ManagementApi.xml")));
    When we access the help page, we didn’t found the Reference Model property summary, the Description column for the Reference Model is Null, because when we build the WebAPI project, it only build its own Models, not build the Reference Model,
    So is there anyway can do it, when we build the API project, it also build the Reference Models?

    Hi Will,
    Thanks for your investigating, I did it like you described. the issue is when we build the
    WebApi project, the models which used from the
    Reference Project did not build to the xml file, for instance, we have a Web API project called
    WebProject, and in the Project we use the TestClass
    from the Class Library Project called Models, when we build the
    WebProject, the TestClass did not build in the Specified Xml File. so we did not see the Description in the WebAPI help page, Currently, I try to use a workaround to achieve it, below is the link I found, hope to help your understading:
    http://aspnetwebstack.codeplex.com/workitem/1720
    I set the Models build to another XML file, and use it for the
    Provider, It works.

  • Upgraded Cube does not build

    Sometimes a modified cube will not build after release. It cannot find the esm file -- which is there -- or will not stop, or Essbase thinks it is being used.
    We are using version 7.1.3 on a Windows server, and deployment cannot be carried out through EAS. We deploy through Windows batch commands. Given that we must deploy this way, is there anything we can do for the cube to prevent these failures? We already stop the application before building, and prevent logins.

    Hi All
    The above is a false alarm.
    Basically it turned out that one of the keys in the fact table was not a leaf node in the dimension.
    After rectifying that all works fine now.

  • Typing Korean does not build characters properly

    Hi all,
    I do not know when it started but I've just noticed that typing Korean in Pages and Keynote behaves inappropriately on my iPad; consonants following a vowel in a syllable does not go together with the vowel and the consonant coda appears as a separate consonant, e.g. '따 ㅇ' whereas it was meant to be '땅'. I tested the same pattern on other apps and all the rest like Mail, Notes, Evernote, etc. work fine except for the two apps. Do you experience this issue? I guess this was caused by one of the latest updates, but not sure which.
    Thank you in advance for any help.

  • Weblogic does not render the JSF tags when .jspf is included in main.jsp

    Hi,
    I have a main.jsp page that has the following:
    <div style="left: 0px; top: 0px; position: absolute">
    <jsp:include page="header.jspf" />
    </div>
    the header.jspf did not get rendered. It displays my main.jsp without rendered the header.jspf when I deploy it to weblogic.
    However, I used the following that works in the creator/SunApp
    <div style="left: 0px; top: 0px; position: absolute">
    <jsp:directive.include file="header.jspf" />
    </div>
    Weblogic gave the following errors:
    Servlet failed with IOException
    java.io.IOException: javax.servlet.jsp.JspException:
    The taglib validator rejected the page: "org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The markup in the documen
    t following the root element must be well-formed., "

    My header.jspf :
    <div style="-rave-layout: grid; width: 400px; height: 200px" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:ui="http://www.sun.com/web/ui">
    <f:subview id="headernew" rendered="#{headernew != null}">
    <ui:label binding="#{headernew.label1}" id="label1" style="left: 216px; top: 48px; position: absolute" text="Logged In:"/>
    <ui:label binding="#{headernew.label2}" id="label2" style="left: 216px; top: 24px; position: absolute" text="Today's Date:"/>

    <ui:staticText binding="#{headernew.staticText2}" converter="#{_header.dateTimeConverter1}" id="staticText2"
    style="left: 312px; top: 24px; position: absolute" text="#{SessionBean1.currentDate}"/>
    </f:subview>
    </div>
    please let me know how to dynamically include jspf file to main.jsp and make it work in weblogic.
    Thanks.

    Try the following:
    * Revert the include directive in the main.jsp page to how it was originally.
    * Export the war file for J2EE 1.3 and deploy that to Weblogic.
    The problem is that Weblogic can't handle our xml formated page fragments:-( (Weblogic problem:-()
    In the J2EE 1.3 we try to do a static include of the page fragments into the main pages at build time. So the container never sees the fragments.
    I hope this helps.
    Thanks,

  • Git CI/CD w/ Default Build Process Template does not build all Projects in Solution?

    Good evening,
    I have a VSO hosted git based project that hosts a Azure Cloud Service, particularly one VS solution (.sln) that contains the Azure Cloud Service project (.ccproj), the Web Role .csproj, some auxiliary projects (again .csproj) and one (MS)Test project (again
    .csproj). All these .csproj are enabled to be build in both Release and Debug configs (everything's Any CPU).
    Now inside Azure I did link the corresponding Azure Cloud Service to that VSO project, Azure/Vso did prepare the _CI (or was it _CD?) build definition with the
    GitContinuousDeploymentTemplate12.xaml selected and in general deployment works perfectly fine
    BUT
    .. but the problem is that I really don't know how to solve after hours of fiddling - the *.Tests is not built and therefore no tests are fond and run.. and I wonder why. More precisely, none of the projects that are not referenced by the Cloud Service's Web
    Role (it's the only role atm for the CS) are actually built.
    Not sure whether this is a Cloud Service build thing or one of the Git Build Template, but how and where can I make sure all projects inside the selected .sln (see screenshot) ARE actually built as defined in the selected/defined Solution config? What's going
    on here?
    Thanks,
    -Jörg
    Here's my local view in combination with the build / process definition. As you can see the .tests.dll IS built as part of Release & AnyCpu for the .sln, but when running the build on VSO (& downloading the drop folder), it is NOT included/built..
    looking at the logs also reveals that the *.tests.csproj is NOT built.

    Good Morning!
    thanks for the reply but unfortunately I cannot reference the Test Project from the CS Web Role as this is the very same project the Test Project actually contains tests for and circular dependencies (Test > Web Role Project and > back to the Test
    Project is not possible).
    The logs themselves just reflect the observed behaviour: they do not mention or contain the .Tests.csproj at all (or the other projects not referenced directly by the Web Role) and even though the selected solution does contain these projects, strangely
    the first few lines in the msbuild log are:
    Build started 1/7/2015 12:03:49 AM.Project "C:\a\src\Sources\Backend\Backend.sln" on node 1 (MyProject_Backend:Publish target(s)).
    ValidateSolutionConfiguration:
    Building solution configuration "Release|Any CPU".
    Project "C:\a\src\Sources\Backend\Backend.sln" (1) is building "C:\a\src\Sources\Backend\MyProject.Backend\MyProject.Backend.ccproj" (2) on node 1 (Publish target(s)).
    ..so why is it only or specifically picking up the Azure Cloud Service .ccproj / project as the only buildable target & why not what's specified in the Solution? What's the whole point of tests if they are for some odd reason dropped?
    Strangely enough, this only appears to be happening with the GIT template - I had this project originally in TFVC and did the same thing - linked from Azure to that TFVC project (same solution) and with that particular build template it
    did build & run the tests.
    Any ideas / suggestions or if you need any more specifics, please let me know.
    Thanks!
    -Jörg
