Weblogic Integration and Format Builder

I use Format Builder to create MFL file to translate dat file to xml. How can i restrict a length to some like 6.
I used like this.
<FieldFormat name='PoolNumber' type='Numeric' length='6' codepage='Default'/>
I Tested with Formatbuilder its not transforming.
but when i send it in Weblogic workshop there is no errors.
This is sample mfl file i have.
<MessageFormat name='ClosedPool' version='2.01'>
<StructFormat name='Pool' repeat='*'>
<FieldFormat name='PoolNumber' type='Numeric' length='6' codepage='Default'/>
<FieldFormat name='CUSIPNumber' type='String' delim='!' codepage='Default'/>
</MessageFormat>
In the first element i need to add delimeter also .
The flat file looks like this.
102111!CUSIP1802! CL!D03973!000000!09/02/2005!09/01/2005!01/01/2001!01/01/2001!01/01/2001!
I need to validate the first numeric as 6 didgits and should be 6 digit number and also delimeter value will be !.
Thanks if anybody can give me suggestion.
Thanks

From that perspective, WebLogic Integration is simply a set of applications, tools, and APIs that are deployed into WebLogic server instances. A WebLogic Integration Java Process Definition is compiled into EJB components and deployed to the server instance. The following provides a good overview: [http://edocs.bea.com/wli/docs102/overview/index.html]

  • Authorisation in integration and configuration builder

    Hello,
I wonder how you can set up authorisation within the integration and configuraion builder ? I mean authorisation (security) at the level of 'Party' or 'service' in the configuration builder or 'SWC' or namespace within SWC' in the integration builder. I want certain XI developers to be responsible for 1 or more parties (or 1 or more SWC) and other XI developers for other parties and/or 'SWC'. Is this possible within XI ?
I see in the configuration builder, you can make a 'user role' (which is not copied back to the ABAP stack) but how can you add users to this user role and how to add this role to a party or business system ?

Yes, thank, that's what i was looking for.
The example is made on the integration directory but I created a role in the configuration builder so I guess I will be able to use it their aswell; Thanks a lot ....

  • Weblogic Integration failed to build Cluster ENV

    Dear buddies,
I have used WL for months, WLS works pretty good with cluster support. but I failed to create WLI cluster.could you guys give me a hand and tell me how to create an WLI cluster? Thanks a lot!!!
Here is the process how I created WLI cluster:
    ENV:RedHat9+ WL8.1_SP4
Machine: 172.16.4.238(adminServer), 172.16.4.237/236(236/237 are in the same physical machine, one Network interface card listen to two ip address)
    BEA_HOME=/opt/bea/
    1.executed /opt/bea/weblogic81/common/bin/config.sh on 172.16.4.238 and create an admin server(cgServer,172.16.4.238:7001) and a cluster(TestCluster) inclued two managedServers(mServer1/172.16.4.236:7001,mServer2/172.16.4.237:7001)
and I didn't create extra JDBC POOL except the standard one.
    2. I exectued same command on 172.16.4.236,create an admin Server(mServer1) and a cluster(TestCluster)with mServer2 included. and the other settings are just same as step1.
Now I am having following problem.
1.admin Server(cgServer) can startup without any problem
2.mServers (mServer1 and mServer2)can't start up(detail output pasted later) it seems pointbase didn't start up correctly on port 9093
3.so I start up point base on mServers machine with command "/opt/bea/weblogic81/common/eval/pointbase/tools/startPointBase.sh"
but seems the pointbase only listen 9092!!
4.I can't even startup adminserver and pointbase DB with Jrockit, but Sun's JVM seems works.
below are detailed output when I startManagedServers:
    command:
    [root@localhost integration]# ./startManagedWebLogic.sh mServer1 http://172.16.4.238:7001

  • Weblogic Integration and Taglibs

Has anyone thought about having a taglib for using Weblogic Integration, (specifically
the BPM) for simplification of accessing workflow information.
I think this would be a very useful taglib.
    any comments?

From that perspective, WebLogic Integration is simply a set of applications, tools, and APIs that are deployed into WebLogic server instances. A WebLogic Integration Java Process Definition is compiled into EJB components and deployed to the server instance. The following provides a good overview: [http://edocs.bea.com/wli/docs102/overview/index.html]

  • Understanding Weblogic Integration 9.2

    Hi All,
I am very new to Weblogic Integration and we were asked to make our application use WLI. Our application has many source feeds and we also interface with SAP with Web Services calls. I am totally new to Weblogic Integration and I would appreciate if anyone can point me to the starting point. I want to learn how WLI works and how to write controls etc.
I downloaded Weblogic platform and tried to follow through the tutorial that Bea provides, but could not find any help. Tried to search for books online but could not find any. Any help regarding resources i.e. books or online "free" tutorials/courses is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you,
    S

    Sarin,
I have worked on an WLI project, where integration was with SAP.We used iWay adapter to integrate with SAP system. With respect to WLI, you need to learn JPD(Java Process Definition),Data Transformation,XQuery,Event generators,Channel file, need a very good understanding of XSD(Schema Definition). Also you need to work with WLI console(http://localhost:7001/wliconsole),where you can create your business calendars, event generators. The weblogic workshop help would be a good starting point.Again you can find lots of documents at http://www.edocs.bea.com.
Let me know if you have any specific question.

  • Deleting Server Cache in Oracle Weblogic Integration...

    Hi All,
I just hope I am posting at the right place.
    If not, please redirect me...
I am using Weblogic Integration and now I need to deploy all my work on por production environment.
While working in the local env, I used to delete .wlnotdelete and other cache folders before restarting the server.
My query is that if I delete those folders on production env, will that cause any adverse effect?
.jpd's are probably stored there...so maybe that or can anything else lead to some issues?
    Kindly advice.
    Thanks,
    Suril

  • Best practices for Flash CS5 and Flash Builder 4 integration?

With Flash CS5's new XFL file structure/format, what's the best way to structure project files for Flash CS5 integration with Flash Builder 4? Flash CS5 autocreates a folder named after the xfl file as the outer container, and then all the assets/xfl within it. Should this folder be used as the project folder for Flash Builder 4, or better to nest the xfl container folder in a "real" project folder? I would presume the latter, since you might have multiple XFL files in one project. I was hoping to see some automatic linkages between document class of the Flash CS5 XFL file and any default ActionScript class created by Flash Builder, but so far I seem to need to specify a document class directly in Flash CS5's environment and making sure that the path to a default class created by Flash Builder is correct.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions...

Most likely, you know that, but just in case, you can integrate new Flash project into existing Flex 4 project  from within the Flash Builder by choosing either Flash Component or Flash Container from the FB Design view. In such workflow Flash Builder opens the Flash CS 4 (I assume that should be the same for CS5) and takes care of the integrating the newly created Flash project into original Flex 4 project.

  • HD edited footage in FCP 5.1 to DVDSP 4 to "build and format" to where now?

97 minute movie shot with Sony's HDV-FX1, edited in FCP 5.1, exported to QuickTime movie, full quality, current settings. Imported into DVDSP 4.1, parsed, no problem, authored with HD settings, and built project. DSP produced a proper HDDVD_TS folder. With Apple DVD Player 4.6.5 on my duel 1.8 G5, this plays just fine.
With Toast 8 and a NU Technology Blu-ray burner (Matshita BD-MLT SW 5528), DVD-ROM (UDF), new disc, named and imported the HD file. Clicked record, selected 1x DB write speed to be on the safe side, used both a Panasonic BD-RW and a TDK BD-RW single layer disc and burned successfully. Neither disc now, to my ultimate frustration, will play in our Samsung Blu-ray DVD player or play with Apple's DVD Player. Both report a message about not supporting the media type, although the disc does mount on my G5 via the Blu-ray drive.
Thoughts on where to go from here? Our movie plays fine downconverted to 480i, but we would love to see it play in High def at 1080i.
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

    David,
That is the answer to why I am unable to use the "build and format" option in DSP? Seems crazy that the option is there, but the function isn't.
Did the Toast product manager give any hint as to when this option may be available? I knew were we sailing into unchartered waters, but we had hoped that by the time we were done with post that the path had already been navigated
    Thanks,

  • How do I do use the custom code and format for a percentage with 2 decimals in Report Builder 3.0?

In Report Builder 3.0, I have the following custom code entered:
Public Function SafeDivide(Numerator as String, Denominator as String) as String
    Try
    If Numerator = “” or Denominator = “” then
    Return “-“
    End if
    If Numerator = “-“ or Denominator = “-“ then
    Return “-“
    End If
    If CDbl(Numerator) =0 or CDbl(Denominator) = 0 then
    Return “-“
    End if
    If IsNothing(Numerator) or IsNothing(Denominator) then
    Return "-"
    End if
    Return Val( ( (CDbl(Numerator) / CDbl(Denominator) )*100 ) )
    Catch
    Return "-"
    End Try
    End Function
I call the custom code in the cell with the following equation:
      =Code.SafeDivide(sum(Fields!TY_UNITS.Value)-sum(Fields!LY_UNITS.Value),sum(Fields!LY_UNITS.Value))
I have the format for the cell set to 0.00%, but it’s not being followed.
I want the result to be formatted as a Percentage, but instead I get values like:
    -78.9473684210
    80
    300
    -100
I have the format for the cell set to 0.00%, but it’s not being followed.
How do I do use the custom code and format for a percentage with 2 decimals?

    Hi AngP,
After testing the issue in my local environment, I can reproduce it. Based on my research, I find this issue is caused by the type of Units_VAR_Percentage cell is string, while the type of CDbl(Parameters!Var_Threshold.Value) is double, so they cannot be
    compared.
To fix this issue, we can add a hidden column (Textbox91) next to the Units_VAR_Percentage column, and type =(sum(Fields!TY_UNITS.Value)-sum(Fields!LY_UNITS.Value)) /sum(Fields!LY_UNITS.Value) as the expression. Then use the expression below to control the
    BackgroundColor:
    =iif(iif(reportitems!Units_VAR_Percentage.Value=CStr(format(reportitems!Textbox91.Value,"0.00%")),reportitems!Textbox91.Value,0)>CDbl(Parameters!Var_Threshold.Value),"Yellow","PaleTurquoise")
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,

  • WLST and WebLogic Integration

    Hi all,
I have installed WebLogic Integration 8.5 bundle. Meaning i have also installed weblogic server 8.1. on Windows XP
I am now trying to use Weblogic Scripting Tool WLST. But there is no tools on the menu(tools->weblogic scripting tool) this was added in the 9.1 installation...
How do I configure my installation weblogic server 8.1 with WLI8.5 to run WLST?
after i run setELSEnv.cmd to set the environment. Then i try java weblogic.WLST and the error is "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: weblogic/WLST"
Where are the libs, how do i configure WLST to run.
I also tried starting the WLST from the 9.1 installation, but it cannot connect to 8.1 installation, tough connecting to 9.1 installation is no problem. If i try i get this error: "weblogic.management.ManagementRuntimeException: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: isCachable"
(I installed weblogic 9.1 and there the WLST was installed during installation and all works just fine. unfortenatly my system must run on 8.1->wli8.5)

    Hi
I am trying to use WLST tool for configuring Weblogic domain in 9.1 OFFLINE.
I have done with almost all except JTA configuration.
Can you please give me smaples for the same.
The following is part iof my script...
    readTemplate('F:/AuctionDoc/Installer/inDomain.jar')
    cd('/JDBCSystemResource/localNonTxPool/JdbcResource/localNonTxPool')
    create('myJdbcDataSourceParams','JDBCDataSourceParams')
    cd('JDBCDataSourceParams/NO_NAME_0')
    set('JNDIName', 'jdbc/NonTxDataSource')
#JDBC settings and other JMS settings worked
But the JTA settings dint work
    #=======================================================================================
    # Set JTA timeout
    #=======================================================================================
    cd("/JTA/inInstDomain")
    set("TimeoutSeconds", "1200")
    set("AbandonTimeoutSeconds", "1200")
I have to do the above OFFLINE.
I could not locate the JTA folder or any thing related with JTA configuration to do offline using WLST
Can you please give an example of JTA settings
    Thanks

    Israel,
The WebLogic Integration Kit is certified to work with VAJ 3.5 and not VAJ
3.5.3. The kit supporting VAJ 3.5.3 should be available on BEA's download
site sometime by the end of this week.
    Thanks,
    Nirav.

Visual Age for Java is not installed.
Can anyone say me if WebLogic Integration Kit found in Visual Age 3.5.3?

  • One last question about building and formatting

When I am writing my DLT do I need to remove the .layout file and the Data.lay file? It will already be built but I will be using DVDSP3 to write the DLT. Are they removed automatically? The manual seems ambiguous about this.
Also I need to output in the DDP2.0 format (Its a DVD-9). I can't select this without choosing build and format. I have been testing by building to my desktop and testing on the Apple DVD player. If I choose build and format will it rebuild the project? And if it rebuilds is it possible for me to get something besides what I have been checking? I just want to make sure I write the same thing to the DLT that I have been checking.

you can also get ddp by just doing format as opposed to build and format. You can not open a ddp image in dvd player to test it, so there really is no use of building it to your hard drive. If you have already built the project and you have a video ts folder, then you can go under format and choose the dlt drive as your location and make sure you are referencing the folder with the videots in it.
there wont be anychanges from the video ts after it has been built, it is merely converting it into a ddp image.

  • Oracle WebLogic Integration's Custom Control and SOA Suite Spring Component

I crated this thread to inform users about some issues with the
Oracle WebLogic Integration's Custom Control and SOA Suite Spring Component
    tutorial from
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/architect/soa-suite-series/wli_custom_control_spring_component.html
    - Fig. 6 doesn't agree with what's just above. This step isn't necessary because it can be create automatically when you make a class.
    - Fig. 11 shows the package
    sample.oracle.otn.soaessentials.javainteg
and the class should be placed in
    sample.oracle.otn.soaessentials.javainteg.impl
    - The Business Tier -> Spring 2.5 might not be available. Extensions steps steps should be given.
    - Fig. 15 When lgger-context is created in Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 the Spring context is created in
    /mywork/SOASuiteWLIEssentials/JavaIntegration/src/META-INF
while in the sample project it is in
    /mywork/SOASuiteWLIEssentials/JavaIntegration
    - Fig 18 has incorrect class name.
    - Fig 19 is incorrect: there is no Spring 2.5 SCA in Jdev 11.1.1.3.0; there is only WebLogic SCA. Where is the canvas mentioned above?
    - Fig 28 logger-context.xml is not where it is displayed in the fig. It is /src/Meta-Inf/.
    - Most of the fig from the deployment are not up to date.
    - I don't understand the need for the portion:
"Implementing the use case in WLI" up to
"Implementing the use case in SOA Suite"
It confused me when I tried to follow the tutorial.

I am also looking for the same .... Please share the CLoning script for SOA Suite from Prod to staging Env...
    Thanks.
