Weblogic reports error that a datasource exists

i have a database that was set up in weblogic, and I could see the JDBC connections, but removed this, saved settings and no longer view them in the application in weblogic, nor are the entries in the tools properties file or config.xml. but the system is still reporting these.
I have rebooted, but still get this error, and eventually it floods the weblogic and it goes in to stuck mode.
Any ideas how to flush this JDBC out, I assume it sitting in cache somewhere.

Try to clear tmp and cache folder for your specific server and try to restart the server again.
you will find these folder under.
%Domain_Home% / servers / < server name > /
delete tmp and cache folder.

Scheduled webi report error in dashboard

Hi ,
we are using SAP BW as backend and Dashboard is created using Live ofive connectivity with latest instance of scheduled report which is scheduled every morning.
But some of the reports scheduled is failing and throwing this error as
A database error occured. The database error text is: (CS) "Fail to create an instance of Job" . (WIS 10901)
This is occurring many times
Because of this while opening dashboard it throws error
The current refresh option requires a report instance that does not exist. (LO 26301)

How many Webi reports do you have? Do they all use the same data source? How big are the reports - 100 rows? 100,000 rows? How long does each take to run?
They may be failing if the server is running out of memory. Or is it the same Webi reports failing to schedule? In which case obviously there's a problem with those reports.

Financial Reporting Error - MaximumCalculationIterations

We currently encountered a Financial Reporting error that some default limits was exceeded. However we don't know why only this report has errors but not the others.
ERROR GridResult Unevaluated cells in report '/Finance/Report 1' within grid '\\\Grid3'. The following 2 cells were not evaluated: Row 3 Col 7 Row 5 Col 7 The maximum calculation limit of 5 was reached. Update the 'MaximumCalculationIterations' setting in 'fr_global.properties' if necessary.
By the way, any experience on how large this parameter can be set? The default is 5 and we intend to change it into 50 and see if the issue can be resolved.

I have two SCCM environments under same active directory domain and one service account have been used for SCCM configurations on both the environments (QA and PRODUCTION). I am facing similar error as mentioned above while trying to fetch reports on
PRODUCTION site, but the QA site is working fine, though same service account have been used for configuring both. While looking at the reportserverservice_<date> log on my Production DB server i see the following error

Default' to data type int."
My DB and SCCM primary site are different and the reorting services point is installed on remote DB server. Please help me resolving the issue.
Troubleshooting performed:
1.Disabled the registry key 'EnableRbacReporting' from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\SRSRP to 0 and then restarted SSRS service and the reporting worked for some minutes after that the registry key reverted back to 1 automatically and
reporting started throwing errors again.
2. Checked with the permissions on DB whether or not 'sysadmin' role is assigned to the SCCM service account.
3. re-registered the SQL management Provider WMI class.

Finally found exact solution to the reporting error.
Error: while launching SCCM reports (both from Console and web based) an unexpected error occured with error message as "The DefaultValue expression for the report parameter ‘UserTokenSIDs’ contains an error: A specified logon session does not exist.
It may already have been terminated. (rsRuntimeErrorInExpression)"
Solution: This is password replication issue for the domain account used to configure reporting services point in SCCM. If your SQL SSRS reporting services instance and databse runs with local default account whereas the reporting services point on SCCM
primary site is configured with domain account, (As in My case) you need to perform the following in order to get rid of the error.
Launch 'Reporting Services Configuration Manager' from the SQL SSRS box(either Local or Remote), Connect to Report Server Instance->Go to 'Execution Account' tab->Specify the 'Execution Account' as domain account and password which is used to configure
Reporting Services Point in SCCM Primary Site, and then click apply.
Now Lauch the report either way (Web based or from Console), the error will disappear and all your default reports will execute perfectly as before.

Crystal Reports 2008 - ERROR when changing datasource

Hi, I have a report that is connected to a test database that needs to have the datasource changed to the production database.
The Crystal Report has 2 "on-demand" subreports that the datasource has been changed for as well.
SQL 2000 Databases on 2 different servers (W2003) used the "Set Datasource Location" and followed steps listed previously in the forum.
Databases have different names but all tables are same in both.
Database Expert is showing all tables coming from new datasource BUT when report is run parameter prompt comes up, click ok
Error message - "Failed to retrieve data from the database" - click OK
Error message - "Invalid Argument provided"
Does anyone have an ideas on how to track down the issues.
Please let me know if you need any other information

4. Didn't know that this could be done - this report was done for us by a consultant who doesn't know how to fix this issue and reckons there is a bug in Crystal
5. Sub reports are accessed after main report is run (I think that means that they are linked)
6. Not sure how to do this as am newbie to Crystal Reports and we are relying on the person that we contracted to write the reports to know what he is doing.
Any help appreciated I will try to go into the sub report and unlink - think I have found out how to do this.

I finally got it working!
I added the weblogic libraries located under EPM/Middleware/wlserver_10.3/server/lib, and now it works fine.
It was a pain to find it out, because the error message did not specify that it was a missing library..

I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

i am trying to load the data from excel sheet using For each loop container in ssis 2005.
But it gave me the below error:

That message usually means validation has failed;
Have any of the underlying tables changed? Data types, lengths, maybe even column ordering, etc...?
try this..
Right-click on the Data Flow Task and select Properties. Then set DelayValidation =TRUE.
