Webservice reinvoked automatically.

Dear all,
I have the following problem. On a session bean, i have a business method for creating deals in R/3. The method gets an xml string as input. That string is than parsed to deals and those are created in R/3. all this happens in a container transaction.
createDeals( String xml ) --> transaction attribute REQUIRED
   for every deal.
{     createSingleDeal( deal ) --> transaction attribute REQUIRES NEW
For this createDeals(String xml) method, i created a webservice. This webservice is than called from a BEA Weblogic server.
Everything works fine, unless the number of deals that have to be processed are around 1500. What happens then, is the bea weblogic calls the webservice one time (as it is supposed to), but the business method behind the webservice, is called again and again in the following way.
BEA Weblogic calls WS --> WS on SAP executes business method --> after around 17 minuts, the business method is called again --> then after 17 minutes, the business method is called again --> .....
This behavior ( calling the business method automatically) continues until the initial call to the business method is done.
Does anyone have an explanation for this behavior. It's a big problem, because our deals are created 7 times instead of just one.
There is no exception thrown whatsoever.
Kind regards.

It looks like time out and secure transfer coming into the game here... You have configured something like guranteed delivery?
Is this starting when your web service processing takes more the the 17 Minutes? So you place first call, it runs for 17+ minutes and then next is triggred?
Just a guess... But you may look into that direction.

  • Webservice URL automatically getting changed

    Hi',
I am Calling a webservice using Webservice adapter which deployed in different server every thing is fine till I dont close the adapter, once I open it again the URL has got changed
and the one it gets changed to is invalid, I have no clues what this is happening, I even tried to go inside the files and change it to the proper one but still it gives problem when I try to invoke it. please advice me how to resolve this.
    thanks

Disconnect any ethernet wires or disable from wireless connections.
After that try to configure the port numbers and settings .
    Now that wont get changed.
Hoping this would solve your problem.

  • How to modify a webservice in SICF on a productive system

I hope I am in the right forum.
For an external webclient program I created a webservice with automatic login. I transported all in production. But in production user and password are different.
How to modify now? To change the service in development is not possible because neither the client nor the user is existing... and SICF is testing them both.
I opened the system and made my modification and it works. But in my point of view it's a work around and not really the state of the art...
Somebody has an idea to do it in a better way?

    Hi,
How did you create the web service? I would suggest to have a look at this web log:/people/thomas.jung3/blog/2005/05/09/abap-webservices-logon-language-processing
It is about multiple languages, but it can be used for your login problem too.

  • Automatic authentication with a webservice in SAP

    hi all
I have a flex application which uses SOAP webservices from SAP to retrieve data.
Everytime one of the SOAP webservices is called the user have to enter a name plus password
I would like to make this automaticly. So that the user haven't got to fill this in. But Flex already filled it automaticcally.
But how do this work? How can you set this in Flex?
    kind regards
    Anton Pierhagen

hi Sathyamoorthi. That is correct. But i'd like to suppress this one time login for the user.
My wish is that during the calling of the webservice in SAP, a system user is automatically login in the background just like the retrieving of the data.
So the user who uses the flex application has no idea that a webservice in SAP is used for the retrieving of the data.
Do you have any idea how to solve this?
    Kind regards,
    Anton Pierhagen

  • Webservice Not Restarted Automatically

    Hello there,
I have a webservice deployed in the J2EE engine and the webservice works fine. It's just when I restart the J2EE engine, the webservice does not restart automatically. I have to go to the Visual Admin >[Server Instance]>Services-->Deploy, select webservices container, select the webservice and finally click on Start Application to restart my webservice.
Is that a normal behavior? Or is there a setting in my webservice code to tell it to restart itself each time the J2EE engine is restarted.
The webservice is being called by a webdynpro application using a url like this:
    https://localhost/[WebserviceName]/Config1?style=document
Both the webdynpro and the webservice are deployed on the same J2EE engine.
<b>P.S. We are at SP 16 in NW04.</b>
    Thanks,
    Alaa

    Hi there,
I noticed that there is a Startup mode setting on the application-j2ee-engine.xml file for my ear file which holds the webservice. I set the Startup mode to always but the application still won't start. Is there anything I'm missing?
    My application-j2ee-engine.xml looks like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE application-j2ee-engine SYSTEM "application-j2ee-engine.dtd">
    <application-j2ee-engine>
         <provider-name>nexeninc.com</provider-name>
         <fail-over-enable
              mode="disable"/>
         <start-up
              mode="always"/>
    </application-j2ee-engine>

  • Jaxb validation is done automatically in webservices build using jax-ws

I am using websphere 7.0 and jax-ws to build our webservices. My questiion is when the request comes to our webservices does jaxb automatically validates the
request data against the xsd.Meaning if I have some restrictions specified in my xsd ,does jaxb validates the request against those restrictions or do I have to
explicitly tell jaxb to do it via coding.
    Thanks

Is it possible to generate the validation code as part of WS generated code

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC2014 SDK / API / WebService - schedule prproj sequence automatically

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to know if it's currently possible to access AME SDK or API ?
    I seen binaries named :
    - ame_webservice_console.exe
    - AMEWebService.exe (it's a windows service)
But there isn't any documentation about that. It is implemented or in the roadmap for developers?
    I explain the goal :
I would like automatically schedule a transcode from a .prproj sequence directly on AME without import manually the file by the menu.
That's really interesting to moiunt an external and centralized render farm cluster.
The architecture could be the following :
    - n Adobe Premiere Pro CC NLE
    - n AME transcode nodes
    - 1 manager to 'watchfolder' the .prproj and select sequence to schedule transcode to a node
The needs for API are :
    - submit a job for .prproj file and select the sequence to transcode
    - monitor the current tasks in AME (with status, progression, many informations about sourceFilePath, destinationFilePath, Transcode Profile etc.).
    Thanks a lot,
    Regards,
    Adrien

  • Webservice vs JMS in Global Automatic

    Hi all,
My client wants to automatically initiate a process after receiving some information from a web service. I have to use a Global Automatic activity to do so. I understand that the Global Automatic activity has an option to listen to an automatic JMS message and trigger/start/initiate the process..
But the global automatic activity has no option to trigger/start/initiate the process after receiving some information from a web service. Can this be done irrespective of whether the Global Automatic activity has the option or not? Or do I have to only use JMS message to trigger the process?

  • Issue in parsing the response of a WebService in Service Link

I am getting issues in connecting an external (non cisco) application via WebService. Appreciate if anyone can help in fixing the issue. I am using 9.3.2 Patch 6.
Connectivity to an external system (a 3rd party application in my firm) was achieved via WebService using the ServiceLink module.
Used the Outbound HTTP/WS Adapter where I am sending request and receiving response (bi-direction).
Successfully constructed and passed the XML request to the WebService.
Received response from the WebService as an XML / Soap Message which is then wrapped with the <Message> tag with the channel-id attribute successfully.
Designed a XSL Transformation (For this WebService, the XSLT did not generated automatically) which, I hope is not being applied properly in CPSC; but working fine outside of CPSC when I have checked the response XML with the XSLT in an online editor (http://www.freeformatter.com/xsl-transformer.html). Everything looks perfect in this editor where I have issues in CPSC.
I am getting a Transformation exception in CPSC and the response message was unable to convert into the nsXML. The exception I am receiving is below. Not sure whether it is due to the namespace or something else..
Note: I am having this issue in this Agent/WebService alone. I have tested with couple other WebServices where I didn't have any issues in getting the response and update the field in CPSC form successfully. So, I believe that there are no issues in the parser in our server.

The reply I got from Cisco Engineering team for this is to get the response as a soap message than XML data.
The tag should not be available in the response received. If we don't have this, the response will still consider as a valid XML / Soap message after wrapped by the tag.
If we have the tag in the response, after wrapping the tag, the format of the response will not be in good format.
Also, Cisco Engineering team has confirmed that it is not possible to remove the tag from CPSC. It should be removed by the WebService providers while sending the response.
For my case, I am consuming the WebService from a tool similar to CPSC where the entire settings has to be changed to send the response format as soap message than XML. So, we need to have another WebService as a middleware! Bad day!

    Thanks for any answere,

  • Data can not be transfered in "" Problem : WebService in Interactive FOrm

    Hi everyone,
According to a tutorial I built a simple PDF Form with WebService as Data Connection (One textfield as input and one button to call the webservice). The WebService is tested in WSNavigator successfully.
The button is defined as an execution button on server side and with operation from the WS.
However as I clicked on the button in PDF, I got warning: Data can not be transfered in ""
I'm not very sure what it means. From the XMLSource i didn't recongnize any error. So just want to ask, if someone has idea. Many thanks in advance.

  • Not able to get the data from synchronous Webservice To BPEL process

    Hi All,
My requirement is : Third party has some webservice. They are pushing data to that Webservice(Wsdl).
Third part WSDL example : http://ipaddress:port/name/Service.svc?wsdl ( This is just example format of their WSDL)
After that I need to get that data into my BPEL process and update my system.
When I built My Snchronous BPEL process I imported third party WSDL(http://ipaddress:port/name/Service.svc?wsdl) through 'import WSDL' in dialog. After that I automatically got the (request and response schema elements) parameters from that WSDL.I gave input and output of the BPEL process from those elements.
I pasted that third party URL iin SOAPUI and I got their operations and schemas.Based on that I had choosen the elements for 'input' and 'output' of the BPEL processes.I am also getting the schema structures in 'Assign' or 'Transform' activity.
    I built the whole process.
    I have the Process.
Now Client is pushing data to their WSDL(http://ipaddress:port/name/Service.svc?wsdl) as it is their data pushing interface. But that data is not coming to my BPEL process and instance is not being created in EM console.
As I have imported their WSDL into my BPEL process,I need to get the data. But I am not getting the data.
Is there any problem in MY BPEL process?
    (or)
DO I need to use 'Webservice' Adapter in 'Exposed Services' Swimlane in Composite Editor to have the third party URL, so that they Can push the data to that WSDL in turn that data comes into my BPEL process?
Can anybody help me this case?
once again my requirement is :
Client pushes the data through their WSDL url -----> I need to get that data into MY BPEL process --> I have my own WSDl to take that details into my system.

I will explain the requirement in small paragraph:
There are two applications. One is our application(X) and another one is third party application(Y).
I need to update in my application(X) based on data coming from application(Y).
I am using SOA as a middle tier to have communication between Y and X.
(Ex: if they send some info like event type 'event1' from Y ,I need to update that 'event1' data in my X application)
The work at third party application is :
According their info,They will push data from their end to their WSDL( http://ipaddress:port/name/Service.svc?wsdl ).
They are telling they can only send the data to their WSDL( http://ipaddress:port/name/Service.svc?wsdl ).
They will not consume our BPEL process(I think they might be wrong at this point of time). They have one WSDL to send or push the data from their end.
The work at from our side(SOA & X application)
From that point ,our BPEL process has to receive that data and update that data into my application(X).
I hope You understand my requirement.
Can you guide me through how to achieve this task as they are telling they have to use their WSDL to push the data?
    (or)
Do I need to take 'Webservice' adapter into Exposed Services Swimlane in Jdeveloper to have their webservice(third party WSDL),If it is So Can you tell me the details how to take 'input' and 'output' for BPEL process?
    (or)
Can YOu suggest me to talk to them to consume my BPEL process directly?
    Thanks

  • SAP system doesn't automatically start after restart (but manual start ok)

    Hi,
We've got a new production line of SAP EP 7.0 systems, which have CI on HP-UX and DIs on windows. The version is NW2004s SPS09.
What we see is that after a restart of the windows servers (usually because of windows patching), the SAP system doesn't automatically start up. It doesn't start up if I restart the SAP<SID>_<instance> service either.
However, I've got no problem starting the system with the MMC.
Any idea what I am missing here? is it as simple as a profile parameter ?
As far as I can see the profile used seem ok.
After a restart of the windows server the following files have log entries in the c:\usr\sap\<SID>\J<instance>\work folder
    sapstartsrv.log
trc file: "sapstartsrv.log", trc level: 0, release: "700"
    Fri Nov 17 15:51:26 2006
    <<- ERROR: SapSSLInit(read_profile=1)==SSSLERR_LIB_NOT_FOUND
    sapstart.log

SapSSLInit failed => https support disabled
Webservice named pipe thread started, listening on port

SapSSLInit failed => https support disabled

    .\pipe\sapcontrol_97
Webservice thread started, listening on port 59713
The windows event log have the application events
    (first)SAP Service SAP<SID>_<instance> successfully started.
    (at the same time)
Failed to update service environment from user (STATOIL-NET\<sid>adm) environment. [ntservmgr.cpp 201]
(note that this doesn't happen for all systems which have this problem, for other there is no entry like this)
I see no failed login attemps in the security event log, but see the that a login is performed for SAPService<SID>.
Since it also fails to automatically startup when I restart the service, I am able to use filemon to see what happens at a file level. Here I see that it can access the shared file system without any problems, and can read the profile and everything.
MOM is running on the server and gets some Access denied errors since it doesn't have access to the shared file system, but I don't think that matters.
    Cheers
    Dagfinn

  • ADF forms based on BPM human tasks - Invoking webservices/view objects.

    Hi All,
Is anyone aware of whether the following is a valid implementation that has been carried out before.
    1. ADF forms based on BPM 11G human tasks.
2.The ADF forms invoke webservices via Webservice data controls. It is pertinent to note that the webservice bring back complex data types. We've tried writing a few forms, resulting in data benig brought back, but not being able to print them to the screen.
    3. The ADF forms also use View Object based on sql to bring back tables of data. If view objects are embedded within the forms, the applciation gives rise to a null pointer exception.
Considering the form will be invoked via a BPM worklist entry, is there a setting or configuration we should consider before hand. Is this feasible, is there knowledge of this being done commercially.
Any examples or information regarding the same will be immensely helpful.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Preethi.
NB : I have posted this in the BPM forum as well as I feel it is relevant to both BPM and ADF.

    Hi Joonas.
Plese let me explain me better for your understanding
A big summary for what I meant it's the following:
1- In the procces you made, when you add the HT activity, you have to implement it, this means declare the input(s) parameters you want. This implementation create the .task file.
2- Create an application, and projects as HT you have. Each poject are based on the .task file, and automatically create a Data Control (for each project based on a .task) with all you need.
This w'll be an empty application, so you can customize it all you want. The task selected should have all the parameters previously defined. Those parameters can change if you want.
2- Create a page(s) in the task flow for the task implementation. You can even split the the payload of the task in differents pages, create your custom pages and any logic you need.
3- An important aspect is how to match these application with the HT implemented in the process. It's possible, it's a configuration en the Enterprise Manager.
    4- Deploy your application
All these are explain in the book I mentioned
Th book you can find it here:
