Wha tis the domain.log format?

Hi,
Is tehre any link where I can get the complete domain.log file format and the messages its logging etc information?
Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
I installed SOA 10.1.3.0.1 Basic Developer version. First time after installation everything comes up fine. I deployed and tested
couple of processes. I shut down the SOA Suite and then restrated it over. Now when going to BPEL Console and logging in as
oc4jadmin it gives the following error:
No domains accessible to the user logged in.
Now I checked the log file and see the following error message. i believe it's due
The database schema version "2.0.3" from the database does not match the version "2.0.4" expected by the server.
as I am using the developer version and olite is installed by default. I don't know why it only works first time after installation and then
after that never works. Any idea how to fix this. As I have re-installed it several times now.

Hi,
I uninstalled everything again and this time reinstalled the Mid-Tier version with OracleXE as the back end database. I followed the documentation to configure 10.1.3 with OID. All went fine as per the documentation. But when I try to log into BPELConsole I am still getting
No domains accessible to the user logged in.
When I tried to log into Worklist it gives me Authentication Error. And looking at the log file I see an error No Realm localhost..... The realm is correct but somehow I am not able to make 10.1.3 work on Mid-Tier with OID configured.

Here is the Domain.log and it says default domain loaded and 2 processes deployed successfully. But I don't know why I am not able to log into BPELConsole and keeps getting "No domains accessible to the user logged in." also don't know from where the processes are loaded as I don't see anything in C:\Oracle_Software\AS10g\1013\soa_windows_x86_101310\bpel\domains\default\deploy as was expecting 2 jars in there but it's nothing in there and on top log files says 2 processes loaded. It all happened after I try to configure OID and restart the 10.1.3. Looks like after install anytime you restart the SOA Suite it is messing-up everything and now I installed is so many times and don't have patience to do it again.
I am really frustrated now and don't know what's wrong. Any help will be really really appreciated.

ERROR: "No domains accessible to the user logged in" 10.1.3.1

Rundown:
1.) Installed 10.1.3 Oracle Application Server
2.) Installed 10.1.3.1 Oracle Application Server Patch
3.) Verified that Oracle Database had ORABPEL schema (it does)
4.) Installed Oracle BPEL Process Manager 10.1.3.1
When I try to logon to the BPEL Process Manager console, I get the message:
No domains accessible to the user logged in.
Logging in as oc4jadmin.
When I try to create a new domain in the BPEL Process Manager Admin, I get the message:
"Please verify that the BPEL Domain Schema has been installed....the schema files are located under <home>/system/database/scripts/"
THEN
"Error updating domain index.
An exception occurred while writing the domain index (id"test1", ref "1") to the datastore; the exception reported is: ORA-00001: unique constraint (ORABPEL.DOM_PK) violated"
First: a folder under home called System does not exist.
Second: Any log files under domain/log do not popluate, therefore... I cannot trace an error.

Hi..I have installed SOA suite 10.1.3.1.0. which has BPEL Process manger packaged with it.While logging in the BPEL Console as oc4jadmin i am getting the same error..
Also the domains/log is not being populated..
Please help as we are in a fix.

Change access log format

Hi everybody
I want to change the access log format of Sun Java Application Server 8.1 2005 Q2...
I want to include session id information in it ...so i changed the log format using the admin console gui Configuration->httpservice->Access logs...
The domain.xml file reflected the change as....

It is a bug(see 6352797) fixed in Patch 07. You should get your appserver patched with one of the following, depending on platform/installation:

it seems to be a trouble with server performance pack. Try to DISABLE performance pack on your server and restart (unckeck "Native IO Enabled" on your domain"). You can also found some suggestions on http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs92/messages/Socket.html (check for "BEA-000414" message).

Using a Domain Log Filter to create an RSS feed?

Hi,
Not sure where to post this, but our production WLS8.1 server runs a handfull of seperate servers.
Is there a way to aggregate any critical/severe logging events that are generated within each server instance?
Is the domain log filter the piece that I need to capture these events and publish them to an RSS feed that our team can subscribe to?

Database adapter BindFault and Domain log entry

I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction to getting to the root cause of an error that we occassionally encounter in production with a database adapter service that inserts a record into an Oracle database.
The database adapter step reports:

Thanks for the pointers. It has been a while since I attended the BPEL course, and since then I haven't had to administer any connection pools, I've just used what has been set-up by another team.
When I open the BPEL project, and look at the database adapter using the wizard, I see that the JNDI location specified as "eis/DB/HPPOMV". I see this again in the wsdl associated with the DB adapter, with the following: UIConnectionName="HPPOMV"
I have logged into EM, but I am not 100% sure that I am looking at the correct connection pool. I have navigated to "JDBC Resources" tab. Under the Data Sources section I see a list, but none of these has a JNDI location of "eis/DB/HPPOMV".
The closest match is " jdbc/HPPOMV", with connection pool attributes of:
Initial size of Connection Cache 0
Minimum Number of Connections 0
Maximum Number of Connections 100
Connection Retry Interval (seconds) 1
Maximum Connection Attempts 3
Maximum Number of Statements Cached 0
Have I made my way to the right connection?
I am monitoring this pool, but the "connection in use" has not got anywhere near 100.
Edit:: is there anyway to monitor/record the connection pool usage? We normally investigate these errors the following day, by which time any connection pool issues may have gone. I don't really have time to watch the screen refresh every 30 seconds.

How to config weblogic 10.3.3 server log and domain log?

I need to change the default logging configuration for both server log and the domain log. The server logging configuration (such as limiting the number of retained log files) can be updated in the Admin console. Howerver there are 100 domains running in a weblogic instance, can this be accomplished by updating a configuration file for each domain instead of going through the web interface?
Also, how can I change the domain log configuration? Is there a configuration file or a command line argument for this?

Domain.log is not updated anymore

Hi all,
Through a cleaning operation on the disk, I deleted the domain.log of our BPEL domain
Since then, as no new file has been created, I've tried to create a blank file domain.log or copy a similar file from another machine to put on it.
In any case, our BPEL domain stop to update this file, our process are still running, but we don't have log anymore, event in error case.
What I have to do to re-generate this domain.log ?

Also, please note that nothing new gets logged and periodically updates in the domain logs until and unless you do something on its domain.
Rather, you can see the default_insland logs of that container in the opmn/logs folder.

Extended Log Format Issue

Hello,
I am rather new to BEA, and I am experiencing a little bit of a problem here. I am trying to configure the access logs in order for them to generate output concerning Browser information. I have gone through and was successfully able to change the configuration to extended. The browser information is now displayed.
I have one MAJOR problem. When using the common log format, the usernames are logged just fine. But when I changed to the extended format, I only get a value of '-'. I believe all of my configuration is correct according to w3c standards, as I am using 'cs-username' in the '#Fields' directive. I have been searching all over for information reguarding how this field can be documented, but I cannot find anything.
I have even gone out and tried to configure our apache logs to read this field, and yet I get the same '-' value there as well.
If anyone could PLEASE help me in this matter, I would greatly appreciate it, as I am going down a river without a paddle on this one.

Have you read through common log format doc and Enabling and Configuring HTTP Access Logs? Oddly they don't mension cs-username in the supported field identifiers section. You could try the common log format field name: auth_user. Or a custom identifier. I would also raise a support case with BEA if you don't get anywhere to make sure they do actually support this field.

Arch log format in asm

I am on single node asm with 10gr3. I changed the arch log format to %t_%s_%r.arc but the files are still getting created as thread_1_seq_90.459.653928775
I have bounced the db already.

I believe what you are observing is Alias created by Oracle.
Check logs available at your destination defined by "log_archive_dest_1"
e.g In my case it is +DATA/test

Does iPlanet v6 support the Extended Log format [http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-logfile.html]?
If so, would anyone recommend using the time-taken field to monitor page download times?

Web Server does not directly support the Extended Log Format. In most cases, however, the flex-log format that Web Server does support can be manipulated to log the same data in the same order as the Extended Log Format.
If you want to request time from Web Server then do this:
1) Enable Statistics Gathering in the server (see the Performance and Tuning Guide for details), and
2) Add \"%duration%\" to your flex-log init line in the magnus.conf (or via the Log Format Adming UI screen).
This will log the time taken for a request to be completed to the access log.

Fetch client IP addresses from the Netlogon.log file of all domain controllers in the domain

The event ID 5807 is logged in the system logs of domain controllers as a result of which the IP addresses for the missing subnets are logged in Netlogon.log under %systemroot%/debug. The end goal is to fetch the IP addresses along with rest of the respective

Error when opening BPEL Console:No domains accessible to the user logged in

I have upgraded the SOA SUITE from 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.4 by applying the patch. Before applying the patch, I run the scripts to upgrade the database for both ESB and BPEL. After applying the patch I made the change in <ORACLE_HOME>\j2ee\oc4j_soa\configdata-sources.xml file for the BPELPM_CONNECTION_POOL parameter. But when I am opening BPEL Console it is showing the error like “No domains accessible to the user logged in". And in the log file I am getting the error like
ORABPEL-03003
Incorrect db schema version.
The database schema version "2.0.4" from the database does not match the version "10.1.3.4.0" expected by the server.
The database schema currently in place has probably been configured for a previous release; please re-install the database schema and try to start the server again.
Does anybody knows how to fix this problem?

Hello,
I had the same problem and reconfiguring the datasources.xml was the solution. Because the installer replace its values with all wrong values. For example: using polite driver instead OracleDriver, 1522 instead 1521, user and password.
That solved my problem, maybe you must check all parameters of the datasources.xml and restart the server.
