I Have a M55-S325. I have noticed some items on my startup list in system Configuration Utility
TCtrlIOhook.exe
TPSMain.exe
Ltmoh.exe
AGSMMSG.exe
Apoint.exe
TFncKy.exe
So My Question is What are these and are they harmfull
if so how do i remove them.
PLEASE HELP

Hi David,
The items you have listed are genuine items use by your operating system although they may be stopped if you wish without doing any real harm. It will largely depend on whether you want to use any of the functions in which they are involved.
For example, TCtrllOhook.exe and TPSMain.exe are associated with the Toshiba power management utility.
Ltmoh.exe and AGRSMMSG.exe relate to you installed modem.
Apoint.exe is associated with you pointing device (Touchpad or whatever).
TFncKY.exe is related to the Toshiba function keys feature.
Obviously, if you are not using your internal modem then the modem related items can be stopped without any ill effects, similarly the Toshiba Function keys.

Do you happen to have an Android? If so and depending on what version there is a great data usage analyse tool built-in. See if you can go to Settings -> Data Usage from there you can pick a current or previous billing cycle and then use the vertical sliders to select a date range and it will filter the usage data per app to show you exactly what app(s) were using data during that time frame.

I used "my documents" for the profile folder, I removed the profile and firefox asked if i want to remove its file, and it took ALL my file except a few, all my photographs etc, are these now unrecoverable? as they are not in the recycle bin

Thanks for the obvious question. I mean it. The very same thought came to me this morning and, sure enough, I had booted into another drive--my old one that, of course, had the old desktop, etc.
It didn't dawn on me that this was the case since I hadn't set it as a boot drive but I guess in the course of all the restarts I did, it got switched.
I'm back to normal again.

My original I Phone 5 was running IOS 6.12
My I phone 5S currently runs IOS 8..When I upgraded it, it had IOS 7 on it which made the I Photo app compatible with everything below IOS 8...( which the photo app is not compatible with ) so I just connected the I Phone 5S to my computer and thinking the new phone had IOS 7 on it that these was nothing to worry about..I thought all 900 + pictures in the photo stream would transfer but somewhere in the process, I Tunes decides to just go and install IOS 8 which requires that you run a " Photo Migration App" to transfer photos from IOS 7 & below. The problem was is that I didn't want IOS 8 on my new 5S so I thought I wouldn't have to do that part..
Anyway the phone emerged with IOS 8 on it and the only photos that remained were the ones that were actually on the phone..The 900 + I had in the stream didn't transfer because the Photos that works on IOS 7 and below isn't compatible with IOS 8..I guess you have to use the photo migration app that comes with IOS 8 & I phone 6..But I didn't ask to upgrade to IOS 8...It just did it on it's own!
I still have the I Phone 5 Back up that I did just before giving it back to Verizon but if I try to restore the I Phone 5S running IOS 8 those photos in the stream will not go back on the phone because IOS 8 isn't compatible with the I Photos" that ran on IOS 7 and below..
So I have an I Pad mini that runs IOS 7..should I try and erase it...and put that I Phone 5 backup on it and pray the photos that were in the stream come back on it so I can transfer them back to my computer...then erase the I pad mini again and restore it using it's original backup that I have on the computer and the in the cloud?

Gift cards can only be used in the App/iTunes store in the country in which they were purchased. You can only purchase items from the store of the country you are physically located.

Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast
Settings>General>Accessibility>Bold Text
are some settings that may help.
There are other settings there ...they may not be to your liking but try them all anyways.

it has been a while since we have last spoke, I would like to let you know, I am still working on getting used to the switch from windows to a Mac/Apple system. I do have a new question for you, I did purchase In Design CS5.5 through journeyed.com through Cuyahoga Community College of which I attend as a student, is there a way to purchase an online book through iTunes to learn that as well? Also, you know me, the struggling student, I would also, when and if the book can be purchased through the iTunes, would need to know if you do know of a much easier book for struggling students like myself and at a reasonable price as well for the In Design CS5.5 program. Our campus bookstore had closed early, and, so did the colleges library and our local library here where I do live, so, I cannot go to either place to purchase a book or to take out a book, plus cash funds are low at this moment as well but, I do have money left on the iTunes account to use, if it can be used. So, can it be used, the iTunes money, towards finding a low priced online book? I am in great need of assistance as I have a project due for my one course for this Tuesday, September 4, 2012.

I tried the first aid tasks but the issue is still there. I have more info now though. It's not a problem with merging.
The problem is that new projects are being generated everytime aperture starts (with the same name, ie 01, 02.... and 01 (1), 02 (1) .....)
When aperture start, it shows "importing". When I click on importing, it goes into the activity box. In the activity box, has many lines as below. The added projcts are all empty. It's annoying because i have many useless projects being generated.

I am sorry Erickkasner but there is no longer direct support provided for Creative Suite 5.5 installation issues.
You are welcome to post any specific errors you are able to discover within your installation log to this discussion. Since you are using Windows then Exit Code 15 could mean one of the following:
Installer database is corrupted
Update pending to your operating system
Improper permissions set for the Media.db
The installation log file should provide additional insight into the exact error you are experiencing. Please make sure to use the find command to look for the words 'ERROR' and 'FATAL' to locate the relevant error messages.

:: Removing LeftOver files
What does these mean? And what program/service runs it? (And what 'left over files' is it removing?) I think I never see them before. Is these message appears because I just install sudo?
Also when shutting down there is also a message concerning a Random Seed. (Saving Random Seed). What is it doing?

Well... if your head over to your /etc/rc.sysinit, you'll see exactly what it does. If I remember correctly, saving random seed is just saving your startup time because it is random, and removing leftover files is clearing out the /tmp/ directory.

On my ipad3, the Skype IM is not running. All msgs i send are shown as "pending" and are not being sent out.

You both backup your iPhones on the same Apple ID, so when she restore her iPhone it pulled the data from the last backup (your iPhone). She would need to erase her iPhone and restore from her back up. Take a look at this link in the restore section, http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4859

A few months ago, my G5 started up with the address book and mail opened at startup. They are not in startup items, and I cannot get this to stop. Any suggestions?

A few months ago, my power mac G5 began starting up with the address book and mail already open on the desk top.
Neither of these is in my startup items, so I am at a loss as to stop this behavior.

Are they in Login items under System Preferences/Users/Login Items?
In the Dock, right click the Address Book and Mail icons, select Options, and make sure "Open at Login" is not selected.

What are these LAUNCH errors, and why won't they go away?

Mucho thanks to anyone who can help me. Here's my problem:
I went into my Event List and deleted lots of hyperdraw volume automation from many regions, one region at a time. This is the first time I've done this, only reading today how to do it. Now I have two error messages constantly coming up. Neither stops occurring.
1.
When reopening the session, the error says this, caps and exclamation points included:
"LAUNCH Event without associated track found! Changed to track 1."
-I have to click "ok" for four of these.
2.
When trying to change the lengths of regions and a few other normal editing choices, the error says this:
"Tracknumber of LAUNCH too high!"
-I have to click "cancel" for eight of these, and I'm never allowed to do the editing.
So...
-What do these mean?
-How do I get rid of them?
-What is "LAUNCH?"
-Without knowing it, did I delete some Event info. in those lists that I shouldn't have?
Random info: I'm running a 47 track session with my audio preferences set to 48 tracks. The CPU handles the load fine, before and now, I'm just getting these errors.

I'm pretty much 100% sure that "LAUNCH Event" errors are associated only with MIDI tracks.
There's one situation I know by heart that will cause such a message and it has to do with joining folders that don't contain exactly the same track count/track assignments.
I would suggest that in order to get rid of the messages to try the following:
1. Open your song
2. Select the first of your MIDI tracks create a duplicate of that track (i.e., create a new track with the same MIDI assignment and then opt-drag the regions in your original region to the new track).
3. Delete the original track
4. See if you can now perform your editing operations on it. IF SO, repeat this procedure for the rest of your MIDI tracks.
Let me know if you try this out, and, how it goes.

What are these random files and how do i stop them?

I just bought my macbook pro about a month ago so I'm new to it. But recently, Ive noticed that randome movie files and pictures have been showing up under the "all documents" button in finder. Some of these pictures I recognize from photobooth, but they were taken on a different computer way before i even purchased this one. And other files like the movie files and some of the pictures are completely random and I've never seen them before. The movie files are short 10 sec films and the photos are just photos. anyone have a clue on whats going on here?

How are u connected, as in ISP, University Network, etc.? I get shares like that too, as my ISP here in Nepal is using some crazy way of sharing connections with customers. I called and asked them once, but they have not clue about Macs. I suspect it's a technician doing some work in the office, who is tapped into the same C1 connection that I am using, but it is a bit disconcerting to see computers you don't know on your Network.
When I teach in Thailand, I am on a university system that will show all the users connected to the same hotspot. That's why I lock down my sharing when there. It's kinda crazy, as I don't really understand all the security settings and what they imply. It would be nice if there were a guide for home/small business Lans on what exactly the settings should be in OSX, but I suppose it's all out there in Google, somewhere...

What are these mp4._00_ and .aac and 5TIuwq files from?

I'm going through folders of old video projects and came across mp4._00_ and .aac and 5TIuwq files and they are between 5.3 and 5.8GB. I'm not sure if these are just some temp files? Anyone know? They do not seem to open up.

You need to delete Bitdefender from your Mac. It will cause you nothing but problems.
