What is wrong if you insert a disc to download and it spits it out and says it is untitled
I am trying to download Office Mac 2011 to Macbook and it spits it out and says it is untitled. This is the second disc I have got. DVD's are playing find.
Are you trying to install MS Office for Mac from the CD? No reason why it shouldn't read unless your SuperDrive needs cleaning/is dying, etc. You can always just download Office from Microsoft and use the activation key found on your CD sleve to activate. Try http://www.microsoft.com/mac/trial - this says it's the 'trial' version but it's the same that is on the CD. Just use your activation key to 'buy'.

Do you need to go that cheap with your testing? One minute after installing the 10.3 update on a CLEAN win7x64 build using IE9 standard (no extras) and any site using flash, especially forums with Google ads slow to a crawl, especially editing a post or entering any text is an exercise of extreme frustration. It is silly to have to wait 3 minutes for your cursor to appear to enter one character in a post.
This means, you guys didn't bother to do the most basic testing with 10.3 - and with a company your size I have to ask, "What is wrong with you?" Not only is this lazy and incompetant, but evebn worse you have somewhat of a monopoly monopoly on this type of content. There is simply no excuse for this and this isn't the first time you've screwed the pooch as of late. It was super fun fixing your security loopholes that delivered trojans right through computer systems via your flash ads.
If you can't manage this application, if you can't perform the most basic net tests - then sell this business segment off to someone more competant... hopefully someone who's not so inconsiderate as to fill our computer's with unecessary bloat (cue Adobe Reader).

I'm sorry that you're encountering problems. From your edit I'm guessing you've seen this post, but if you haven't please review it for details and a few workarounds.
I know this is frustrating, and we do apologize. We do testing on many systems, but for whatever reason we missed this issue with Intel HD Graphics GPU's. If you're running into problems with another display adapter please let me know so we can investigate further.

I can see this happening sometimes. Especially if someone is mainly used to working with power macs; most of which have a dvd tray/s as opposed to slot loading mac computers.
@ Bengt Wärleby .... good point regarding the use of mini dvd's most of which can easily be used with modern burners and dvd-rom drives that use a tray.
Slot loading macs work well with a full size / standard dvd or CD only.

actually i found out how to fix it
1 sign out of apple account
2 close down passbook app
3 change year to 2013
4 reopen passbook and sign in at the button with your apple ID
5 change the time to auto update and it should work from now on.

Does anyone have trouble with the iPad booting you off of the internet? I will be in the middle of something (i.e. Facebook), and it boots me out and I have to sign in again.

Don't confuse the threads here with 'typical' experience. Most of the stuff here is from brand new users, and those that have problems, and considering the 30 million pads in use, represent a very small sliver.
If you are having repeated crashes it is really pretty basic. You either have a physical problem with your pad, or you are using too much memory.
The iOS system is supposed to monitor memory, and shut down previously used apps automatically to free up memory for what you are doing now. That part of ios is not perfect, and if an app introduces an unexpected memory load, sometimes it gets over whelmed.
This happens, more often than not, when using safari with multiple windows open on graphic intense sites. It can also happen with a memory intensive game, and residual apps in the background.
Double tap the home key and take a peek at the recently used list, and shut them down completely, and often the problem goes away.
If the problem persists, you may have a software issue, and a trip to the genius bar may be in order. -

I have to agree! I have heard so many negative things about Verizon over the past couple of years and it keeps getting worse. Several people I know have switched to different carriers like AT&T and say they would never go back. I would think that customer service would be a top priorty to keep customers and possibly win some back, but sadly that is not the case.
I have a Driod Incredible and have had several issues of the past year with software errors. Seemed to get worse after they pushed out the software update. I would get error messages such as the process android.mms has stopped working and you have to foreclose or something similar. I had performed a factory data reset and that helped for a short time. Sometimes I would do things like take a photo and go to send it and the phone would start a loop of shutting down and turning on, even taking the battery out wouldn't help because as soon as I put it back in it started again. I have had preinstalled widgets on the phone stop working or disappear. The errors started coming up more and more and then about a two weeks ago I went to get my phone in the morning all my apps, email, settings were wiped out. No idea what happened or where they went. The errors started coming up even more, so I stopped by the Verizon store and an associated did another factor reset for me to see if that would help. Well it lasted less than a day. I hadn't even redownloaded any apps only set up my email and it was constant errors. Couldn't change my volume settings, access facebook, get messages or get a call without errors, basically useless. So I called Verizon. The rep was great said they would send me out a replacement phone I asked it be shipped to my work since it had to be signed for and I should have it the next afternoon. Great!
Well next afternoon no phone. So I start a chat with Verizon and am told, oh its still sitting on someone's desk to be approved and it has 3-5 days for shipping. I explained that was not what I was told and that I basically have a phone that is useless and can't wait that long. So they were going to cancel the first order and put in a new one and have it Federal Expressed overnight to my work address (keep in mind I have this in writing). Great.
Well next day comes and I haven't recieved any notification that the package has shipped. So not being to trusting at this poing I call Verizon again. I'm told oh it just got approved and is going out today for next day delivery (and the intitial was never stopped it went out to just got approved that morning as well). Just got approved??? Well next day I go to check the fedex deliveries and guess what ITS NOT THERE! So I go check the tracking number and it got sent to my home where no one is there to sign for it not to mention to pick it up now from Fedex is at least a 30 minute drive I shouldn't have to make and I have to wait till after 5pm (I told them I'm not paying for that charge!). I have it in writing from the chat where I asked it to be shipped.
I call Verizon. I explain to her that it was suppose to be shipped to my work and I have the Chat Record that shows where I asked it to be shipped. I get the oh I'm sorry.....Well at this point I have had enough! Seriously question everything I am told by Verizon and the fact that it takes days to get anything approved and don't trust that what they tell me is going to happen is going to happen. So in an attempt to make me happy and not drop them they agree to let me upgrade to a different phone (not free just an early upgrade thats all I asked which I thought was fair). I had asked if I could order the new phone through WalMart or the local Verizon store but was told I had to order it through them online. I asked if I would be able to get it tomorrow and was told yes so I agreed.
So I order a new phone and this phone is from my understanding is suppose to be shipped out federal express to me to get the next day which would be today. Well today I check and guess what NO FEDEX!! So once again I CALL VERIZON. It sat for approval on someones desk AGAIN and it was after 5pm so it didn't even get shipped until today let alone they shipped it using 2 day delivery! They were basically its already shipped nothing we can do but we feel really bad. Luckily I have my replacement phone that I had to go retrieve or I would be totally dead in the water.
I can not believe all the problems. At this point I am seriously considering sending the phone back once it gets here and moving my line to AT&T and the other 2 lines in Sept when the contract is up. I have been a loyal and die hard Verizon customer for years. People have been trying to tell me to switch for years but I haven't wanted to. They think I am nuts for staying. I think it may be time. I had internet through them years ago and dropped that for basically the same reason, problem after problem went down for weeks everytime I called I was told a different reason for the problem, they wouldn't do anything to fix it until I said I was leaving. I switched and would not swith back.
I think they need to reevaluate their internal processes. I have to say only one of the reps I spoke with was not overly friendly. I wouldn't say rude just not as helpful. The other ones were very pleasant and truly seem to want to help. I think the problem lies in the supervisory chain. Right now I think Customer satisfaction should be their number one priorty!! -
Imac Superdrive not recognizing inserted media, runs disc for a minute then spits it out.
2009 intel 24 inch Intel Imac either does not recognize cd or dvd I put in it and spits it out after spinning it around for a minute, or it swallows disc and I have to force shut down to get disc out. Other times it is able to read disc. Any ideas?
If the drive lenses have never been cleaned since you purchased your iMac, you may need to run the cleaning cycle more than once. Did you run the cleaning disc more than once?
If the problem is lessening, that means it still could be some dust on the lenses.
Also, look at the backs of the CD/DVDs to see if there are lots of scratches on the writing surface.
If there are, it may not be just the drive, but the discs, too!
I don't know about auto polishes for cleaning CD/DVDs, but they make consumer cleaners and polishes specifically to minimize, clear up most minor scratching on DVDs or CDs.
These are available in places that sell electronics and can be found online.
Maybe you need to try these ideas, first, before investing in a new drive.
Because if the CD/DVDs have surface scratches or imperfections that prevent it from being read or written too, this will still happen with the new external drive.
Trybthese ideas one more time, if still no joy, time to purchase an external FireWire CD/DVD writer.

If you bought the T-Mobile as a no-contract model directly from Apple it is supposed to be unlocked and will work. If you bought it from T-Mobile it is not fully unlocked and you will have to get T-Mobile to unlock it after 40 days.

I dropped my iphone 5 in the toilet at the park yesterday and it was still working so i turned it off and left it in my purse but then when i got home i put it to charge and it was working perfectly and then i used it till it as 1% i put it to charge again then ichecked on it in an hour and it wouldnt turn on no matter if i plugged it in . .then my friend tld me to leave it in the rice so i did overnight and now today it still didnt turn .. what do ido?? please help ?
Replace it - it is almost certainly ruined beyond recovery at this point. You had a slim chance at best - had you left it turned off, never tried to charge it, and placed it in uncooked rice for 5-7 days it might have worked (although honestly, not likely).
For future reference, water and energized electrical circuits will mean disaster as the electronics will short out. Never power on a wet device, and never connect it to an external power source (if it has a removable battery, immediately disconnect and remove the battery as well).
Now, it is has to have been shorted out beyond any hope of recovery.

I'm not applying any special effects or anything, and it doesn't matter what I export to, it just doesn't work! If I publish vid and audio, 10 hours, to go on webhosting, 10 hours. My media is optimized and everything, I don't get it. Also, when I send to compressor, and then send the job out, it just sits there in the share manager for days not doing anything. I spent over 3 grand upgrading my system, getting this dumb program, and had to sell my FCP7 monster Mac to get this "mobile studio." Don't get me wrong, I love FCPX, the feature set and everything is great, but exporting is a real pain. What do I do, where can I go for some real answers?!?!?!

Also, are you using external drives for your media? You could get a huge traffic jam if you have your OSX, your apps, and your video Events all on the same drive. -

If it is any consolation I personally would agree the change was handled badly throwing users into a totally new UI without any warning.

@hangxinghui, I already figured out that I could redefine the constructor in Bar using super thanks to the error message (which was quite clear).
But still I don't find that behavior logic.
Thing is if It compiles just fine without paramBelow:int which somewhat means you normally don't need to override the constructor when you inherit.
In other words you won't see "public function Bar () {super()}".
Also for any other function than the constructor, if you want to define a function with or without parameter, you won't need to use that trick in the child class.
Am I the only one that think that when you inherit a class, it should inherit the constructor by default (with or without parameters) like any other function ? -

first I am getting the parameter (using a servlet) from the form submit:
