What's the difference between ERP6 EHP7 With/Without HR Renewal 2.0

Dear Experts,
Would you please tell me what will be the difference between  installing and not installing HR Renewal 2.0 in ERP6 EHP7?
In the future, is that all new HCM functions will be delievered by HR Renewal, but not by the new enhancement pack (say EHP8)?
Thanks,
Steven

  • What is the difference between sales order with picking and without picking

    hi friends,
i would like to know what is the difference between sales order with picking and without picking.
    thanks
    skrishnan

    Hello,
Picking refers to preparing the right quantity and quality of goods for shipping on schedule as required by the customer.
Once picking is configured, SAP Sd automatically generates picking lists and picking labels which can be tagged to the relevant goods. SAP can be configured to ensure that picked quantity is confirmed before goods are issued. This can be done using transaction code VSTK. In T-code VSTK, picking confirmations can be set, which ensure that goods picked for delivery are in accordance with picking slips.
Picking thus helps in monitoring each item using the picking status. Picking is normally done in SAP SD by a shipping clerk.

  • What is the difference between Ipad Air with code MD787B/A and MD787FD/A??

Hi - what is the difference between Ipad Air with the code MD787B/A and MD787FD/A ??

You can see the model number in Settings>General>About>Model. The model number has a two-letter code, a number and some more letters. The last part stands for the country/region. The first letter can be "F" (refurbished), "M" (normal retail), or "P" (personalized / engraved). For example MC605B is the model MC605 and B is for the region.
What country does my device belong to?

  • What's the difference between graphics processor with 256MB and 512MB

I'm doubting between buying the more expensive or the cheaper Macbook Pro model.
Does someone knows the limitations I will have with the 256MB model? It is worthy to pay u$500 for the 512MB model?
Is there any other big difference (besides the RAM size) between the 2 models that could make me decide for one or the other?
thanks a lot for your help!

Andresb... the $500 gets you more than just 256MB texture memory. You'll also get a slightly faster CPU with more cache, double the installed memory, and an 80gb larger hard drive.
But sticking to your question, what does the extra video memory do? It's used by graphics intensive applications for rendering and textures, etc. I don't know of any programs that will not run if you have less than 512MB, they just won't run quite as fast.
While you can add more memory or replace the hard drive with a bigger one at a later date, you can not increase the CPU speed, add more CPU cache, or upgrade the video memory on the machine. For a lot of people, that won't be a big deal - the question really is how much of a power user do you really think you are?
    Good luck with your decision!

  • What is the differences between running windows with parallels or boot camp?

I am a Drafting and Design student so I need Windows for AutoDesk programs Revit and Inventor. I have a Mid 2014 MacBook Pro 2.2 GHz 16GB.

A couple of differences which don't often get mentioned:
First, in Bootcamp, the size of the partition you create for Windows is fully taken over by Bootcamp. In a virtual machine, you can give Windows 100GB for the C: drive but if you're only using 20GB on it, that's about what gets taken up on your SSD - it expands and contracts based on actual use.
Second, a virtual machine is a file like most other files (actually, it's a collection of files in a folder) and that means you can duplicate it for backup purposes. You can also take snapshots to try things out and restore to the snapshot's state to eliminate everything done since the snapshot was taken. Try that with a real PC, or Bootcamp, which is pretty much the same thing.

  • What is the difference between an ipad with cellular and one without?

    Anyone?

iPad with cellular will allow you to connect to the internet and email anywhere you have a cell phone signal. You can also connect to a wi-fi network.
iPad with wifi will allow you to connect to the internet when you are within range of a wifi network.
So if you are outside in the middle of a park, you won't be able to connect to the internet or email with the wifi only model, but you could with the cellular model. If you are at a Starbucks, you could connect to the internet or email with either model.
    Hope this helps!

  • What is the difference between contract-free(with full price) and unlocked

    that really confuses me

In the U.S., carriers generally heavily subsidize the price of the phone. In return for selling you a phone at a loss, you agree to stay on service with them for a set period of time (generally 2 years). If you terminate service before that, you pay a hefty fee. Contract free means that the carrier is not subsidizing the price of the phone (taking a loss on it) so you, the customer are not required to sign a contract. You can cancel at any time. However, the phone is more expensive. If the phone is sold to you by a carrier, it will be locked to that carrier. Unlocking is subject to the carrier's policies.
Unlocked phones as sold by Apple are also contract free. You can only buy an unlocked (never locked to a carrier phone) from Apple.

  • What's the difference between flash storage and solid state drive in MacBook Pro?

What's the difference between MacBook Pro with flash storage and MacBook Pro with solid state drive?

A SSD is packaged like any other notebook drive. Flash storage uses a different design and layout that connects directly to the motherboard using PCIe. It is faster than a normal SSD.

  • What is the difference between the 4th generation ipad and the ipad 3 with retnia display?

What is the difference between the 4th generation iPad and the "New iPad with retina display"? i don't quite understand. are they stilll the same size or would i have to get a different case?

The 3rd and 4th generation iPads are the same size. The 4 has a faster processor, and a little better iSight camera for FaceTime. The 4 also has the lightning connector so your old cable will not work with the iPad 4.
You should always check with the manufacturer of the case to see if it will fit. You can probably do that on the manufacturers website.
This might be of some interest to you.

  • What are the differences between the Apple 64GB iPad Air with Retina Display and the Apple 64 iPad with Retina Display MD512LL/A 4th Generation

what are the differences between the Apple 64GB iPad Air with Retina Display and the Apple 64 iPad with Retina Display MD512LL/A 4th Generation ?

The iPad with retina display only comes in the 16GB version and it has the A6 processor which is a step down from the Air model. Having said that, I stream movies on my iPad 3 with retina and it has the A5 processor and the movies stream just fine as does everything else that I do on the internet.
If 16GB is enough storage for you, the $100 savings compared to an iPad Air model is a fair amount of money and that might sway me if I was just worried about saving some money. However, that's not my style. I always go for the largest capacity that I can afford and the faster processor if I have the choice.
Having said that, if it were me, I would select the 32 GB iPad Air. But in spite of the information that you provided in which you want to base your decision, only you can be the judge of what will be best for you, and remember that you cannot add storage capacity to the decide later. You can purchase external WiFi drives if you need the storage, but to me, that takes away from having the really small footprint and portability of only having to carry the iPad around gives you.

  • What is the difference between retail version/discs included with computers

I bought a used iMac G5 that has Leopard installed on it, but no discs were included. I need to reinstall. There are plenty of versions on eBay that are original install discs that came with the computers and they are much less expensive than the retail versions. What is the difference between them? Would discs that came with an Intel Core iBook be totally incompatible with my G5?

I have the same problem. I have a 1 year old Macbook Pro 15" which came with no discs. I bought a set of OSX 10.5.2 install discs which clearly say for MacBook Pro on the discs. However they do not get any further than selecting English a he main language before they refuse to load further software stating incompatibility. I do not understand why, when both are Mac book Pros and recent ones too. Does anyone have any ideas?

  • What is the difference between OCIEnvCreate and OCIEnvNlsCreate with utf16

because i find a oci sample code cdemouni.c,in this sample, use OCIEnvCreate with mode set OCI_UTF16,but OCIEnvNlsCreate also can set charset and ncharset OCI_UTF16ID,what is the difference between OCIEnvCreate and OCIEnvNlsCreate with UTF16?

First, OCIEnvNlsCreate() is recommended way of switching to UTF-16 mode.
Second, OCIEnvNlsCreate() uses new semantics for bind and define buffer lengths. With new semantics all lengths are in bytes. With old semantics,
UTF-16 string lengths are in codepoints, while other character sets use bytes.
You can get new length semantics with OCIEnvCreate() as well, by
adding OCI_NEW_LENGTH_SEMANTICS to the 'mode' flags.
