What's with the camera?
Since upgrading to the 3G phone and 2.0 software, everytime I open up the camera app I get this constant pop-up telling me: "Camera would like to use your current location; allow or don't allow. What gives?
I just thought I'd mention this I don't know if you have to allow it or disallow it but this is what the manual says.
"Locations warnings are the requests made by applications (such as Camera and Maps)
to use Location Services with those applications. iPhone stops presenting the warning
for an application the second time you tap OK."

I also recently bought the camera kit and found that it worked fine as long as you don't format the SD card using PC. Once I re-formatted using my camera I could once again upload my photos. that was until I switched formats to Adobe RAW, it seemed unable to upload again. So I switched to S RAW and that worked fine. Sometimes my kit won't upload photos but I find that by just re-inserting the card it works fine.
Haven't tried video yet, but I recently learned that the devices are quit sensitive to the "Format"(that needs to be FAT32, or exFAT- but in this instance it needs to be formatted by a Mac).

What's going on with the camera exposure in IOS 7 ?
In general I am extremely pleased with the new IOS update. I like the new fresh look and the nice organization. But what's up with the camera??? The colors used to be nice and nuetral and WB very pleasing as well! Low light was also very well done. Now there is a yellow color cast indoors and the colors over saturated etc. Just bad in general. I have used my iphone to take 1000's of photo's and everything was just great in IOS 6. My teenage daughter complained about the same issue and in her words: "I am OK with the update just give me back my old iphone camera,! This new ione is horrible"

I can no longer upload photos with the camera attachment. I am getting an error saying the device uses too much power. I have used the device before. Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?

Using the battery level meter in this manner is comparable to using your car's fuel gauge to calculate miles per gallon. The only thing that matters is the total amount of operating time from full charge to auto-shutdown.
Use the wall-mount charger that came with the iPad and charge overnight. Do NOT use an iPod/iPhone charger. Do NOT use a computer's USB port. Then, operate it normally until auto shut-down (ignore any low level alerts that may appear). An irony is that doing that test to determine the total operating time is also the procedure necessary to calibrate the battery level meter.
I'm not claiming that you do not have a problem. I am stating, however, that we don't yet know. If the above test does, in fact, indicate a problem, read this.

For proper reporting of the battery’s state of charge, be sure to go through at least one charge cycle per month (charging the battery to 100% and then completely running it down).
Elsewhere, Apple elaborates and explains that two half-discharges (or four quarter-discharges, etc.) equals one full discharge. -
How do I delete my user ID photo, taken with the camera in the MacBook Pro (when you first buy and set up the computer...). The photo keeps appearing randomly, even after I've changed it to a "better picture". I can't get the change to "stick". Anyone else having trouble with this? Thanks!

When unlocking my iphone 5 with the camera slide, my volume controls won't work on video playbacks. However, if I unlock the phone normally and open the camera roll I am able to watch my videos with the control of the volume. Anyone else notice this?

What comes with the Canon HS 300?
I bought a camera online from ebay and suspect its used. Does the lanyard come attached to the camera or you put it on yourself? What about the battery is that in the camera or outside?

I'm sorry to hear that you suspect the PowerShot ELPH 300 HS that you purchased from eBay may be used. The lanyard (wrist strap) should typically be in the box with the camera and not attached. The battery itself should be in it's own plastic bag outside the camera body, in the box with the other loose items. We do not ship cameras with the batteries pre-installed inside camera body.

Sth wrong with the camera...and operating speed

I got some problem with the camera in my phone. When I switch to the front camera, it totally stuck. And I ended up all the applications and tried to open it again, what I saw is a black screen. I don't know what's wrong with it. My phone fell over to the ground several times since I bought it about 1 month ago. It still worked well after that. I restarted my phone, updated to iOS8.1.2 and reset all the settings, no good. NEED HELP THX
There is another problem.
I got a iPhone 6 Plus, 64G, iOS 8.1.1 It didn't work well for such a long time. The operating speed is quite low, can easily tell it is not operating fluently. The storage is about 40G left.Could be your graphic equalizer. Someone might have messed around with it. As for the camera, I dunno. If its Photo Booth, change the effects to normal. lol

How do I move photos around that I took with the camera?
Alright I have a bunch of photos in the "Camera Roll" that I took with the camera phone.
It defaults to the Camera Roll folder, but how do I move them to other folders on the phone?

Or do they have to be moved one by one?If you disabled the Camera & Scanner Wizard from launching automatically when a digital camera is connected - when your iPhone includes photos that were captured by your iPhone or when photos are available in your iPhone's Camera Roll, the iPhone is also detected as a digital camera when connected to your computer - you can try this.

Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might consider DropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage. (not all these alternatives offer all the services previously provided by iDisk) -
do any one know how much it is to get the new ipod touch with the camera if you trade in your old ipod touch?
Sounds like you need a new battery. I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store to confirm. Apple will replace the battery for $79. A third-party place like the folloing may be less expensive. Google for more places.
