When I open an .swf file in Adobe Flash Pro it doesn't show up.

Hey, I'm having a problem. I have Adobe Flash Professional CS5.5, I'm trying to convert an SWF file to a GIF animation.
What I do is: New-->Actionscript 3.0
Import-->Import to stage-->open my .swf file
It shows the frames of it but it's all blank and it just doesn't show up. Any way to fix this?

You need to have the fla file if you want to create a gif.

I've created a flash animation (the backgroung is moving horizontally and vertically according to the movement of the mouse), the problem is that when I open my SWF file in Adobe Flash Player 10.0 the whole animation is shaking. (In Adobe Flash in preview mode it looks fine)

Hi,
When you mean by shaking does it mean that the animation does not run smooth or it actually cuts frames? You might want to check if the same thing happens to the animation if you export it as an html(File--> Preview--> HTML). If that is happening it can be three things:
Video Card Driver problem: maybe update your video card drivers or something might be going on with the video rendering software
Computer Speed(which I really don't think)
Flash Driver problems: try uninstalling the flash player program and installing the latest version(I also don't think you will have problems there)

Firefox 3.6 when I open a SWF file, a wrong mouse click, it show a recursive open window until the PC resource is used up or the system hang up, I try to reinstall firefox but not solved.

Windows XP SP3, flash player 10.2, Shockwave 11.5.9.240 , when I open a SWF file with firefox 3.6.15, it shows some options to choose action and I made a wrong click. The firefox nightmare is a "open recursive windows" until the system hang. When I use Internet Explorer 8 to open it, it is fine, Try to uninstall firefox and reinstall it, but in vain, how can I restore it?

You don't have the Shockwave Flash Player installed for Firefox. You may have the ActiveX version installed for IE, but Firefox needs the Plugin version. And Shockwave 11.5.9.240 that is installed for Firefox isn't the same thing.

At the moment when you open a RAW-file from Adobe Bridge by double-clicking, RAW-file is opened only in Photoshop. In the settings Adobe Bridge - in "open RAW-files by double-clicking in Adobe Camera Raw» box is checked. When you try any changes in the settings Adobe Bridge system displays a message:
Bridge's parent application is not active. Bridge requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature.

you should "load" your swf, not import it.

Editing a swf file with Adobe Flash cc or Dreamweaver

Hi,
I have a .swf file which is embedded in to a html file, I need to make changes in the swf section of the file which Dreamweaver can not help me with it.
I tried to click on the swf file and take it to Flash cc, but still I can not edit and make changes.
If I dont have the fla files, I can not edit the .swf file at all?
I have all the applications of the creative cloud but couldnt find any of them helpful in this matter.
Is there any help?

I have no experience with any decompilers beyond possibly attempting to trial one once. The only one I have seen recommended is made by Sothink.

What sort of editing do you want to do? LiveCycle Designer is not available for the Mac, but you should be able to modify a TDS file with any text editor since it will be XML.

Adobe Flash Pro CS6 Doesn't make smooth curves

He guysI've recently upgraded from Flash Pro CS5 to Cs6 but I've got to a weird problem.
I can not use pen tool to make smooth curves.

Adjust your drawing preferences as well. If it recognizes shapes/lines/etc it will try to optimize it.
Here's a CS5.5 panel but CS6 shouldn't be too far off:
If it's told to recognize any straight lines or shapes, you start to get those angled/straight lines.

WHEN I OPEN A .pdf document using ADOBE READER 11.0.2 BEHAVIOR is described BELOW. I CANNOT BE MORE COGENT.
It occurs both within Adobe Reader functions, such as page printing options, and in all APPLICATIONS (Gmail, Word, etc) once I close .pdf document.
SOLUTION: I MUST POWER DOWN/UP EACH TIME I USE ADOBE READER. THIS IS IDIOCY.
1. Keyboard appears RESET to display numbers ONLY, and numbers displayed to DO NOT CORRESPOND to numbers I TYPE.
AFTER ADOBE READER IS CLOSED I type "A" into say, an email address field and a random number, say, "9" appears in the field not an "A".
WHILE IN ADOBE READER I type "23" into the .pdf "go to page" field, and get other numbers completely.
Happens ONLY when I open a .pdf file with Adobe Reader 11.0.2 (XI).
Both behaviors occur whether I open a download .pdf file or attempt to open a .pdf via search engine Google + my Browsers.
2. Operating System = Windows 7.
3. My Browser = Internet Explorer 9 or Mozilla Foxfire; behavior is identical on either. Search engine used is Google.

You likely need to change the default application(s) assigned for opening files to point to the new ones. HOw you do that depends on which operating system you have. If you search Google you should be able to find out how to change the default programs for different files.

Problems in Adobe Reader when I open a pdf file

I have problems in Adobe Reader when I open a pdf file, the menu bar appears blank without options and when I pass the mouse over the bar she disappears. I uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Reader and to no avail. Could anyone help in this case.

One thing often tried first is to create a new document and File>Place the corrupted one to see how much may be rescued that way (remember to tick Paste remembers Layers in the Layer palette flyout/dropdown first, and to untick it afterwards).
