So I recently got an iPad 2 and everything was fine until I tried plugging it into my computer (which I didnt do when I got it). I had a passcode on it and the error message said that it cannot connect because of the passcode, so I unlocked it and hit try again and same error message. I then disabled the passcode and it still wont connect. Ive tried turning the computer off and back on, also tried turning the iPad on and back on. NOTHING IS WORKING!!! It is really frustrating because I need it for my study and it wont connect through iTunes, and because of that it wont connect to the computer at all!!! Please help me here, my partner and I are usually really good with this kind of suff and we cant work this out.. It has never happened to us before.. Please Help!!!!!

If you cannot access the iPad because of the passcode, you have no choice but to restore it using the same steps that you would use if you forgot the passcode.

Just to be clear: Tap on the Photos app to start the app. Then tap on Albums at the bottom of the screen. You might have several albums but only one is named "Camera Roll." Are there photos in that album?
If there are NO photos in the Camera Roll album there are no pictures to import. The remaining albums might have come from a sync with your computer or they might be your PhotoStream.
If there ARE photos in the Camera Roll album, connect your iPhone to your computer and start your camera application on the computer. Your phone should be recognized as a camera.

When I try to search in the App store I get a "cannot connect to iTunes" error.

Everything else in the store works, i.e. top charts, updating apps, etc. It's not my internet because iTunes works on my phone via wifi and 3G. I have tried taking the iPad back to factory settings, resetting the iPad with an iCloud back up, tried using another network, tried setting the time a year ahead and reverting back, tried setting the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and still wont work. Note: This is only when I try to search in iTunes.
Addition: iTunes wont let me search either. So App Store and iTunes wont let me search.

Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
Before you reinstall the Apple software, also remove iCloud vi Control Panel Remove programs. The reinstall the Apple programs

Download the free app My Contacts Backup and use it to back up the contacts on your device now (it will back them up as an attachment to an email that you send to yourself). Then restore your device to your most recent backup to see if it will recover your contacts. If not, if necessary you can open the email and tap the attachment to re-import the contacts you have now back to your device.
If you need to restore to an iCloud backup this has to be done in the initial setup process, which requires you to first erase your device. If you have any more recent data on your device now that is not in the backup that you want to save you'll need to do that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings. You will then go through the setup screens on your device, and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup (see image below). Be sure you are connected to wifi and your charger as this will take some time to finish.
