i have a lacie, and i encrypted it. i had to wipe it, because it kept dropping off over and over and re-logging in. so unencrypted i went.
at some point it wasn't recognized at all. sometimes disk utility would open it, but then it got to the point that it wouldn't recognize it either.
i hadn't realized that the power supply was dysfunctional. but i was able to recover it using disk warrior at the last deep breath it took. the disk itself still works, but not in that housing.

If the shows are in fact still on the pad, they will be found in the videos app, not the music or I tunes app. Look there and see if they are still there.
If you don't see them there, go to the searchlight screen ( farthest left home page) and type in the name of one of the shows. If it is on the pad, hiding somewhere, this will find it.
If they are not there, they should not be using up space.
To get them back onto your pad, plug in and sync again. Make sure you transfer purchases first. Before you sync, take a look at the video tab in your I tunes, and check what you want and don't want synced.

Where do you state that you need to email the files to someone else?
Where do you state that you need to edit them?

You can't edit any of these files without a compatible iPad app like Documents to Go (Excel, Word) or Pages (Word files).
You can open and view the files as mail attachments but you will not be able to edit them. Explain exactly what you are doing and maybe you can get meaningful instructions.
Basically I said the same thing as Julian and I thought that maybe if you explained EXACTLY what you were trying to do, it would be helpful.

The SD card slot has hidden my pictures - how can I access them??

When I first put my memory card in the SD slot of my Macbook Pro, I imported photos fine. But now all the pictures are no longer visible in iphoto/finder/my camera - the files themselves are not there in the finder. If I take new pictures, those pictures are visible on my camera viewer, and then when I use the SD slot only the new ones are visible until I eject it. There's still space taken up on the card so I don't think they've been deleted - but how can I access them? Some mail programs, including Apple Mail, can reduce the size of images that are attached to a message. It's happening at the sender's end, and all you can do is ask the sender for a larger image.

assuming you didn't/don't use photostream I need a couple things cleared up first... did you back up your phone before updating to iOS 6 and if you did, was it on a PC or Mac?

I had n error when updating my phone had to restore it and lost my picture, how can i recover them?

i was trying to backup my pictures on Itunes and was in the process when i recieved an error message telling me i had to restore my phone when I was done i was missing an album

It is the users responsibility to copy the pictures off the device regularly like they would with any digital camera.
If you have failed to do this and were forced to restore the device as new, the pictures are gone.

When I plug in my iPhone to my mac it doesn't sync the music and when I try to sync the music is says that it is with another library and will delete all the songs on my phone to put the ones from my computer on it.

Whenever I try to sync my phone with my computer it won't automatically sync my new music from my computer to my phone. When i select it to sync it says that it is going to delete all the music off my phone because its already with another device (or something along those lines) but I use my itunes from my computer to my phone. Does anyone know how I can fix this so it will sync. Will all the songs on my phone be on my computer so it won't matter if it deletes them off of my phone?
