Some one have a solution how I can do to do not have to read them in all devices.
I will strongly appreciate help.

Check Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on both your iPhone and your iPad to make sure that the following are all true:
    (1) you have selected the same Apple ID on both devices,
    (2) you have the same entries checked under "You can be reached by iMessage at:" on both devices,
    (3) you have the same entry checked under "Start new conversations from:" on both devices,
    and
    (4) that the entry checked in #3 is one of those checked in #2 on both devices.

  • If I choose sync settings for my add-ons, laptop and android, will one device' s add-ons go on the other automatically?

If I choose sync settings for my add-ons, between my Windows XP laptop and android phone, will one device' s add-ons go on the other automatically?
For example, if i add a password manager add-on to my PC, will that same add-on go onto my phone? Or will i have to separately add it again to my phone?
If I do have to add it separately, then what exactly IS the add-on syncing doing?

hmmm... i have no idea what the "install.rdf file" of an extension) is? or how to check that?
    thanks!

  • I use Comcast for email and my email downloads both on my iPad and on my macro which I want, but if I read and delete on either device it is not deleted on the other device. Anything I can do soma delete on one device deletes it on the other device?

If I delete an email on my iPad it is not deleted on my macro. I wonder if anyone knows how to delete on one device and have the deletion concurrently work on the other device I use Comcast e mail.

Had problems sending emails from my iphone and ipad through Comcast. Apple could not solve the problem, contacted Comcast and they stated that they had issues with the Apple iphone and ipad and told me to download the "Xfinity connect ap" did so and everything works better than before.  When I used the Apple email had to trash what I did not want on Apple and then when I went to Comcast the email were still there.  Using the xfinity ap, when I delete on the iphone or the ipad the emails are deleted at all places.  Before I had to delete on my iphone and then my ipad and then when i went to my computer they were still there and I had to delete there also, which was a real pain. Still can send and rec email from my icloud account, but comcast email are handled through xfinity connect

  • How do I sync iMessages so that when I delete it on one device, it will delete it from the other devices?

I have 3 devices all using the same iCloud account: iPhone 5, iPad 3, and MacBook Pro with Mt. Lion.  I want to be able to delete an iMessage on one device and have it automatically deleted from the other devices automatically instead of having to delete the message on all 3 devices.  Is this possible?  I want it to sync up just like an email account would sync up.  Thanks.

You got the gist of it - imessage and email accounts have different supporting "underline". Even some of the mail accounts (POP) do not have that capability. Neither does imessage. What I did is made sure that I receive my imessages to one device only. I do not know if it will work for you. Good luck.

  • One device has Internet access through MHS291L, the other doesn't.

I have a MacBook Pro which is connected to my MHS291L by Wi-Fi, and it works great. I also have a Windows Vista PC connected using a Wi-Fi adapter, and it does not have Internet access. I got the Wi-Fi adapter about a week ago, and it was working for a while, but it has stopped. The Vista PC shows that it is connected to the Jetpack, in the list of wireless networks, but my browser is informing that I am not connected when I try to visit any website.
I thought it might be because both computers were using the same IP address, so I renewed the IP address on the Mac. No change. I tried disconnecting and reconnecting from the network on the Vista computer, but that didn't help, either.
What might the problem be? Thank you.

If your Vista PC is not receiving internet but the MacBook is then that means there is probably an issue with the WiFi adapter on the Vista PC.  I would try uninstalling and reinstalling it from the Device Manager.  This should refresh the hardware and driver connections and allow you to better communicate with the Jetpack.  Make sure you have your wireless password entered correctly and that you have a valid IP address (192.168.1.xxx).
A reset of the Jetpack may also be helpful here incase the Jetpack is suffering from a temporary problem.  There should be a reset button somewhere on the device that will restore it back to defaults for you.  Any time you perform a reset I suggest taking a moment to setup a custom wireless password.  I'd suggest creating your own password according to strong password security best practices that takes at least a few years to crack.

  • Is there a way to delete emails on one device that will transfer to all my devices so I don't have to delete the same emails off all my devices??

Is there a way to delete emails on one device that will transfer to all my other devices so I don't have to delete the same emails on all my devices?

Go to the mailbox tab in the Mail application and selecting "synchronize iCloud".  Whenever you delete mail from  one of your devices it will automatically delete from the others--within iCloud.

  • Why when I read an email on my iPhone 5S, it shows as unread when I view it on my laptop?

Why is it that, when I read an email on my iPhone 5S, it shows as unread when I subsequently view it on my laptop?

What kind of email account do you have. The behavior you describe is the way a POP account will behave,. Reading the mail on one device marks it Read on that device only.
But if you have an IMAP account, reading the mail on one should should transfer down so it shows as Read on all devices.

  • I want to sync my 3rd party email to  all of my MACs.  If i delete an email on one device i would like it to delete on all the others.

I want to sync my 3rd party email to  all of my MACs.  If i delete an email on one device i would like it to delete on all the others. Anyone have any luck.  Maybe icloud?  How do i switch it for exsiting emails on Apple mail. thanks!

I was also wondering why iCloud doesn't delete e mail across all devices when I delete it on one device.
It does, provided it is an iCloud email account (which is an IMAP account).  Email from non-iCloud email accounts such as Comcast, etc. is entirely separate and is not managed in any way by iCloud.
    sjc47 wrote:
I am also confused by the discussion that POP accounts don't sync using iCloud as I have been using my Comcast POP account as well as several other POP e mail accounts and I receive e mails from all these accounts across all my devices without issue (Mac Mini, MacBookPro 13, iPhone5).
As mentioned, your non-iCloud POP accounts are entirely separate email accounts and are not managed by iCloud.  You are receiving email from your POP accounts on all your devices because you have the accounts set up on all your devices; but the email is being sent from your other email providers such as Comcast, not by iCloud.
    sjc47 wrote:
When you say POP accounts don't sync are you all referring to the deleting of e mails which was one of the subjects of the original post or is it something else I'm missing?
Unlike IMAP accounts, POP/POP3 accounts only deliver email to your devices.  Any subsequent changes that you make an email on any of your devices such as deleting a message, marking it as read, etc., will not be synced to your other devices.  This will give you a little more information on the difference: http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/2008/05/getting-gmail-anywhere-imap-versus-pop.htm l.

  • With icloud, if i delete emails on one device, shouldn't they be deleted on my other devices?

I have 2 IPads and an IPhone all hooked up with icloud. If I delete emails from one device, shouldn't they be deleted from all 2 devices?

Yes ... they would be deleted from all devices ... IF ...
You are using an iCloud email account.  Simply having iCloud turned on on each of your devices is not enough.  You must also be using the iCloud email account to achieve this behavior.

  • TS3276 when I send an email from one account, it shows up as sent from another gmail account. Anybody ever run into this

When I send an email from one of my accounts, it shows up as sent from another account. Does anyone know how to correct this?

As Ernie said, you need to create an SMTP server for each gmail account with the correct username and password. Be sure the correct server for each account is listed in the SMTP box and check the box to use only that server for that account.
Gmail's default behavior when sending from one account through another account's outgoing server is to change the address to the server which is used. Same goes if I send a message from my ATT/Yahoo account and use gmail's server to send through. It will change the ATT address to the gmail address.
There is an option in gmail's settings under the Account's tab under Send Mail As. You can add different gmail or other accounts such as Yahoo to this and choose how the gmail server handles it. You can set it to send as the sending account and not change the address. I've used this many times for my ATT account for sending through gmail when ATT accounts were having problems.
You can add the different accounts to each gmail account you have.

  • When I send an email from one email address, the reply is always received in another email account?

When I send an email from one email address, the reply is always received in another email account?
    Thank you,
    Alain

In Mail preferences under composing tab, check to see what you have for sending new messages from.
You can also check the account settings and make sure you have the correct SMTP server for each account and the correct settings for each. Also check the box to use only that server for the account so it doesn't switch to another accounts server without asking if there is a failure with one.

  • When I read an email on my iPad it remains unread on my macbook. How do I get it to "read" the e-mail on both?

When I read an email on my iPad it remains unread on my macbook. How do I get it to "read" the e-mail on both?

I ahve this problem too, my macbook is set up as an imap account for gmail, say I get an email and it shows as new in my gmail, iphone and macbook, and I then read it in my gmail, it is marked read on my iphone but stays as unread on my macbook.
This is really annoying as if I read emails during the day on another computer I can come back to them all being new on the macbook.
Is there a fix for this?

  • Can I sync email between iPad mini, iPad, and MacBook so that if I delete email using one device, it will also be deleted from the other two?

Can I sync email between iPad mini, iPad, and MacBook so that if I delete email using one device, it will also be deleted from the other two?

You have to set up the email account using IMAP instead of POP.
What type of email address is it? Yahoo, hotmail, gmail, etc?
