When I tried backing up my ipod, I didn't get some of my purchased items back. How can I get them back?
I wanted to test out backing up my ipod. I discovered that I did not get my ringtones back, but I got all my adventure time shows back. I tried going back to the ringtones I purchased. I thought maybe they were put on my Icloud like with the shows. They were not. I wasn't even refunded, so I couldn't but them again. Help, anyone?
Ringtones, audible book and maybe some other media are not included in the media that can be redownloaded via iCloud. For those yo have to keep a copy in your iTunes library, and just in case, in an iTunes media backup.

I have used Airport Time Capsule with my iMac for a couple years. I recently purchased a MacBook Air and when it tried to backup to Time Capsule it couldn't because Time Capsule is full. How can I now use the 3TB Airport Time Capsule to back up both the iMac and MacBook Air? I don't mind losing earlier backups. I have excluded some items from backing up, but since the Airport Time Capsule is full, I can't even begin to back up the MacBook Air.
On your Mac.......
Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit in the smaller window that appears
Click on the Disks tab at the top of the window
Click Erase Disk
On the next window that appears, select the Quick Erase option, then click Erase
The operation will only take a few minutes.
Now you are ready to start new backups of both Macs. Back up one Mac first, then back up the other. Do not try to back up both Macs as the same time. -
i think itunes has removed my iphone software. because now not showing home screen. when i tried to restore my phone there generated an error no is 1015. please help me how can i recover my iphone again?

Identifying iPod models
I suspect y have a 1G iPod. Those can only go to 3.1.3. If your iPod does not have volume buttons on the upper left edge it is a 1G -
so after the annoying reintallment of everything on my computer, there were a bunch of music and app that i have not backed up on an external HD. now that itunes hasx been re-installed, i want those items back, but don't want to sync my iphone for fear of losing everything on the phone (apps, music, etc.) that were purchased. Any suggestions?
Log into your iTunes account on the new comptuer and when you hook up your iPhone there will be a option to reverese sync your iTunes purchased content ONLY, back into iTunes.

When I downloaded Firefox I had two things download with it. Speed Dial and Xmarks. I don't know about either and don't want them. I cannot delete them alone it seems. When it all loads it locks my computer up totally. I cannot x out of anything. Just kind of "thunks" with a dead sound. My facebook applications runs better on Firefox but I can't seem to get it downloaded alone. What am I doing wrong? I do not want the speed dial for sure. Don't know about the Xmarks.
Where did you download Firefox from?

You can view some account info by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and selecting View Apple ID on the pop-up - is that the info that you want to see ?

When iTunes was upgraded to the lastest (11.0), many of of songs/music/audiobooks were deleted! I tried syncing my phone to my computer to get them back, but many of those were deleted too! How do I get my purchases back to play them???
It shows on iTunes SOME of my past purchases, but not all (looks like around 30-40% of purchases). It shows on my apple id purchase history everything i have purchased; but in iTunes, some not all of these show up. What does show up is kind of "greyed out", so NOTHING will actually play. I have followed the steps in the iTunes support about how to redownload past purchases, but this dowsn't work, as the download button is also "greyed out".
I am extremly angry and upset about this issue. Could someone please help / advise re how to fix????I'm hoping that this may be just a misunderstanding somewhere.

When I turn my computer on (Windows 7) I receive a message that Apple wants to make a change to the hardware. I click on yes but nothing happens. The change has something to do with Apple "push". I recently had a problem with"push" on iTunes when I tried to sync my iPod Touch. I have latest software for iTunes and iPod. Can anyone tell me what to do to get this change to install?

I've upgraded my pc and now Im getting an error message when Im trying to sync my ipod saying I have two itunes libraries. The library thats there is only showing some songs and it's not uploading songs Ive just bought.
You seem to have tried everything, and you say it's syncing fine on your Dad's iMac, so I assume, you have also done a Disk Diagnostic from an earlier post by tt2 and conclude that your iPod Hardisk is good.
You don't have to use it as a heavy paperweight, the problem is only using your Windows 7 machine for syncing.
In your troubleshooting steps, did you try to use another High-Speed USB 2.0 port, USB controller resource are very scarce, so if you use other USB devices, while syncing your iPod, it may just freeze.
Windows have a bad reputation for device conflict, so better don't connect other USB devices, while syncing, better sync it while disconnected from Internet, stop antivirus just before you go to bed.

Are you syncing photos to the ipod? If so, the -39 in this context can sometimes indicate a damaged photo cache. Are you able to sync if you delete your existing photo cache? To find it, see the following document:
