When wanting to download a PDF file from a site, when cliicking on the link, Firefox 3.6.13 goes to a blank page. Previous versions worked perfectly. How do I fix this please?
Since no window shows up asking where to download, etc as happens in other browsers (Opera) and in previous versions of Firefox, no able to click on a web site link to download a PDF file. Just goes to a blank page.
Some firewalls like Kaspersky can block content and send a 1x1 GIF image instead.
Kaspersky: Protection > Firewall > Filtration system: disable the "Banner Ad Blocker"

I downloaded a show on itunes and it will not play the last 15 minutes. It just stops and will not go any further. What can I do? I am using a pc.
I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item. -
Clicking on a new tab used to open a blank page, now it opens SweetIM; how do I fix this?
I used to be able to open a new tab and it would show a blank page, but now it shows a site called SweetIM that I didn't set as the site to be opened when I open a new tab.

When in the TAB Racing site at a particular race I click on Form to access the form guide for that race. Instead of the form guide I get an error message " Java Script Void " This has only started recently and not as a result of anything I have done ..... HELP !!!

If you have not already I would change the Slide size to something that has a 4:3 Ratio.
The Buddy maybe trying to scroll left and right to see the whole slide although this shoud be controlled at you end.
I would open the Connection Doctor during a Chat (iChat's Video menu).
Check that both Bit Rates are relatively stable (there is always some variance.)
Anything over 5% particularly if over 500kbps is likely to be causing problems.
You could try limiting the Bandwidth (iChat Menu > Preferences > Video section) to 500kbps at both ends
It may pay to drop to 200kbps as a test. (you may lose the Side by Side presentation at this speed).

Well, shucks, i just spent almost 30 minutes trying to find your model user guide to explain it better, I guess they never got around to making it.....
I would just borrow another Windows disk and try installing it again and if it does it again then you might take it to an Apple Store and see if one of the "Genius' " can figure it out.
Make sure your internet is enabled and click on your blank desktop and at the top of your screen is a Help menu option, enter PRAM and it should give you a list of things relating to Pram. It may take a few seconds to list anything as it has to connect to Apples severs first. It should list the things you may have to fill back in when your done.
"P-ram" stores some common information that is used in the background, your date, time, startup disk, etc, that you don't have to re-fill when you restart, it's a little different for each computer. -

Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again. -
