Where can I find the Designer column Description in the Repository ?
I recently posted a question about where to find roles in the data model in Designer (what I was looking for was in ci_business_units (column role_responsibilities). That was a good discussion (and I was happy to find a Designer group).
Now I am looking for the field "Description", here:
I looked at all of these tables but couldn't find what I was looking for:
sdd_folders app
sdd_folder_members afm
sdd_folders fol
sdd_folder_members fms
ci_modules mds
ci_general_modules gen
ci_module_business_units mbu
ci_business_units bnu
I also looked for columns like 'DESC%' in the entire d.b. and nothing seemed to be what I'm looking for.

There is an artikel at the technology blog of Amis "Quick Query to report on Entities and Attibutes in Oracle Designer" https://technology.amis.nl/2006/02/16/quick-query-to-report-on-entities-and-attributes-in-oracle-designer/ In that article they needed the Description of Entities and Attrbiutes which is inside CDI_TEXT. Maybe this is the same for the modules.

X$ tables are a view of internal Oracle kernel memory structures. And you need to be careful how you use these - not just how you interpret the data in them. Some structures when touched (using a select against that X$ table), will actually reset the values in the struct. (e.g. <i>X$KSMLRU - LRU flushes from the shared pool - (7.3 - 8.1) [ID 43600.1]</i>).
The basic question you need to ask yourself is what are you looking for using the X$ views into the internals of Oracle? Why are you not using the V$ and GV$ views instead? - these are what 99% of all dba admins and experts and tools use. The times that one need to dig into X$ views (that are mostly undocumented and can have major changes from version to version) are very rare. And requires at least some basic knowledge of how databases and operating systems work internally. -

where can I find the detail document about certain method of a class?????
e.g. the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID , when I was going through the class and looking
at the methods, sometimes the method description is just like the method name,
and I cannot know what the method does.
so, I am wondering where I can find the detail information about the class???

Most of the times the SAP itself provides the documentaion of the CLASS. when you click on the METHOD name the METHOD DOCUMENTATION button you can see on the application tool bar.
more over the names of the methods suggest what it is going to do.
SET_ATTRIBUTE( sets the attribute)
GET_ATTRIBUTE( gets the attribute value that is provided to the method)
GET_CHILDNODE
BIND_TABLE

To see the disk space used from an InfoCube you should see TCode DB02 and should sum all the involved tables (Detailed Analysis -> Object Name "<IC_NAME>"), so E, F and DIM tables.
You can use RSRV -> All Elementary Tests -> Database -> Database information about infoprovider tables to get the rows in the fact tables and dimension tables.
You can also use the program SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS.

I would rather advice you to relook at the design than go in for "line-item" dimension. You can go in for line-item dimesnion only if you feel the design is correct. The disadvantage of a line-tem dim is that you can have only 1 char in the dimension and you cannot revert back a line-item dim to a normal dim unless you empty the cube.

APEX does not create physical file that is in APEX_APPLICATION_FILES table.
It can only store the file in BLOB format in repository.
So when we upload file APEX stores file in BLOB column of APEX_APPLICATION_FILES table and then use when needed but no physical file.

I would like to say this tooltip is a TERRIBLE design. It BLOCKED my vision.Edit > Preferences > Code Hints.
You can change default preferences for code hints. For example, if you don’t want to show CSS property names or Spry code hints, you can deselect them in code hints preferences. You can also set preferences for code hint delay time and closing tags.
Even if code hints are disabled, you can still display a pop-up hint in Code view by pressing Control+Spacebar.

I need this to extend the wi fi range in my home. I'm using a Motorola Cable modem and to extend with Airport Extreme, I need to set up inside Motorola the MAC Address of the Airport Extreme.
Message was edited by: JPA3003There are actually 3 MAC Addresses on an AirPort Extreme......1 for Ethernet, 1 for 2.4 GHz wireless and 1 for 5 GHz wireless.
You can normally see them by using AirPort Utility. The rub here is that the AirPort needs to be setup and working to be accessed by AirPort Utility.
The other approach is to look on the bottom of the AirPort. The newer AirPorts usually have this information in very small print, so a magnifying glass will probably be required. Other versions embed the numbers in the foam mat.
Note.....Apple uses proprietary settings for the their wireless "extend" feature.....designed to only allow other Apple devices to connect. So, it is extremely unlikely that the AirPort would be compatible with a 3rd party router if you are trying to use the AirPort to wirelessly extend the network.

For example, I posted an article on a news site, but found that only a small part of my article was posted.I'm not sure whether Firefox saved that information. There is a chance that it is in the session history file, especially if you haven't closed that tab yet. To check that:
Open your currently active Firefox settings folder (AKA your Firefox profile folder) using
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
Find all files starting with the name sessionstore and copy them to a safe working location (e.g., your documents folder). In order to read a .js file, it is useful to rename it to a .txt file. Or you could drag it to Wordpad or your favorite word processing software.
The script will look somewhat like gibberish, but if you search for a word in your article that doesn't normally appear in web pages, you may be able to find your data.

You tried what ? If the app is no longer available in the store (can you find it in the main part of the store ?) for re-downloading then you would need to have a copy of it somewhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, on a backup of your downloads.

I'm hurt and confused after supporting Firefox for many years — installing and using it not only on my own computers but on most of my customers' computers. Now I have to tell my customers with PPC Macs they can't have a secure cross-platform browsing experience from Mozilla. They'll have to learn to use some other browser, or buy a new computer.

Had the same problem and spoke with Apple Support. They had me reset the System Management Controller:
Shut down the computer. With the computer off, on the left hand side of the keyboard press shift+control+option along with the power button simultaneously and release. Wait 5-10 seconds and restart the computer.
This solved my problem and I was immediately able to purchase, download, and play an HD movie from iTunes w/o any error message.
